This place is absolutely incredible. The owner was wonderful and friendly. He made small samplers of new recipes and treats and brought them out for the customers to try. He was very open for discussion and what they could improve on. The cafe had the perfect combo of quick bites and a vibe of welcoming. I felt very comfortable sitting for multiple hours eating cookies, drinking coffee, and chatting. This place is a great addition to Chester and I would recommend anyone to go there. Very good and reliable wifi as well!

Delicious apple strudel! Nice staff, quaint vibe, great selection of pastries and coffee. They actually have paper newspapers!!! I'd chill here on a weekend morning.

Fantastic business with amazing coffee and pastry. Open on Sundays, which is especially useful. We grabbed there croissants, pies, Dutch waffles and now I want to return to Chester just to try this pastry again. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite little coffee house in the Sierras. Being a Dutch native, born and raised, I'm pretty particular about my Dutch pastries. Koninkrijk Koffiehuis does an excellent job baking Dutch delights with a little twist. For example, I tried their gluten-free "boterkoek" (a huge butter cookie sliced like a cake) and it was legitimately better than any boterkoek I've had in the Netherlands. Highly recommend!

I was visiting the area for a fishing tournament and stopped here because my partners wife wanted something. I didn’t plan on buying anything but left this magical place with all manner of delicious pastries from savory pesto chicken calzones to an absolute perfect Apple strudel and 10 other things. I live in Bishop California, the home of the famous Schat’s Bakery, but I wish this place was closer to home. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Awesome European style bakery and cafe in town! We were looking for a nice cold iced coffee on a hot day and luckily found this spot. The baked goods selection was also incredible. We got a peanut butter espresso chocolate cookie and the apple strudel (yum!). Thanks Rachel for the great service!

went there today for the first time, I’ve been wanting to try it for weeks. I got the most delicious ham & Gouda calzone, an iced mocha, a peanut butter & espresso chocolate chip cookie, and a chocolate peanut butter bar. They had a ton of choices so it was hard to decide. The lady working was very sweet & we had a nice chat. I’ll be a frequent visitor as much as I possible can. support your local business, and try to pay cash when we can.

Nice new coffee shop!! Opened in June of 2019. The food is all prepared on-site and it is all amazing. Everything from savory pesto/chicken/potato calzone to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and bear claws. Fast Wifi too! Deli sandwiches for lunch as well.

Now when I say to die for. I mean I'd die for it. Nothing fancy just simple recipes that work and no over priced bs like well known places. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone who enjoy a comfortable and pleasant experience while enjoy yummy food and drink some good coffee. This is the place to be.

What a wonderful little stop for breakfast! We got a cappuccino and latte that were delicious, as well as a breakfast calzone and almond danish that were so yummy! The owner was very kind and helpful, we enjoyed looking at the Holland/dutch decor. Restroom was clean and stocked.

We were blown away by how good this place was. Everything we ordered was fresh and high quality. As good or better than any bakery we’ve experienced. If you are remotely in the Chester area (we were exploring Lassen Volcanic) stop by for a meal or treat. You won’t be disappointed.

Quiche Lorraine n Ham Smoked Gouda was very Good. The Apple Strudel will make you go home and slap your Grandmother and yell at your Mother for their failures! Probably the best place for breakfast I had in Chester.

My family and I planned our day around coming here for breakfast. We drove an hour to Chester to arrive to a note on door saying they were closed to “catch up on paperwork.” Google hours still listed as opened regular hours. Disappointing.
