Was so excited to try the newest Chicago steakhouse ran by its very own Top Chef 🥂🍾✨!! The amuse bouche was an absolutely DELICIOUS bite - Perfect way to start the meal!! In LOVE with the trio bread tower - The various butters shaped as cows were a delight 🐮✨!! Cocktails were fabulous as well 🫒🍸✨ - Enjoyed all the sides such as cheesy lobster corn, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts 🧀🌽🦞✨!! Unfortunately we have had better steaks elsewhere - And while the strawberry cake for dessert looks absolutely gorgeous 🍓🍰✨ it was super dry and felt stale : ( But overall a wonderful meal - The Salt Library is a fun addition!! Ambience is lovely, upscale, classy, and romantic ✨❤️!!!
We tried this place after positive recommendations from their happy hour. The ambiance, food, and service made this a wonderful experience. It is a bit on the pricier side even for West Loop but well worth it and some dishes like the lobster pot pie are a steal value wise. There is definitely a Korean touch with spicy kicks in some of the dishes so definitely ask if you can’t take spicy like me but my spouse really enjoyed it. The place is really well decorated. Our favorites were the lobster pot pie, carrots, brussel sprouts, gnocchi, and the dry aged ribeye. The ribeye was delicious but really amplified when they offer an over a dozen salts to complement it, we enjoyed the mushroom and vanilla salts best. The truffle gnocchi was one of the best we had since Italy. The lobster pot pie was delicious and something we never had before. Overall a good fun place that we look forward to return to for major events.
Jason was our waiter and helped make it a great experience. Knows his craft. Nice they serve you the sides on your plate. Fun experience Food is rated more like 4.5/5: good cook, good taste. Mindblowingly good, not so much. Nice takes on dishes like the crude & oysters. Strawberry soft serve was mind blowing good
Great experience with every aspect of this restaurant, just like the original Adalina. Impeccable service, atmosphere and quality of food. Our server Michael M was wonderful! We had a great lunch date and will be back for the dinner service. The burger and fish tacos were a great portion and very tasty. The atmosphere was gorgeous inside, beautiful murals and fixtures to curate a beautiful dining experience. Highly recommend trying this version of a steakhouse by the same folks over at the original Adalina.
First time to Adalina Prime. Could not have been more impressed. Service was Top Notch. We started in the bar with a few Espresso Martinis. Amazing. Would also recommend the Lemon Drop Martini. Also- If you want a table in the bar it is reservation only. We moved into the dining room for dinner. Cheddar Biscuits were delicious. Caviar Service was the BEST we’ve ever had. Very clean and fresh. Served with chips and we got the Chicken Nuggets. Very fun and so tasty. For dinner we had the StoneAx. Which just melted in your mouth and cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were above and beyond. Mac made with gnocchi noodles. Whipped potatoes had a crunch to them. You won’t be disappointed. We ended up back in the bar for another drink or two. Major shout out to this incredible staff. Late night bar tender was so fun and engaging. Thank YOU Patrick!! We will absolutely be back! Talk about an unforgettable Birthday dinner!!
We came for a work dinner while our bosses were in town and had an amazing experience. The venue is beautiful and the food was outstanding. We started with a seafood tower that was fantastic, and the caviar bump was the highlight of the night. I ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly, and we shared mashed potatoes, zucchini, and Brussels sprouts for the table. They even sent out three desserts strawberry cake, ice cream, and chocolate cake, which were all delicious. Great food, great atmosphere, and lots of laughs. Congratulations to our industry friends on a wonderful new steakhouse, I definitely a will be back!
Probably one of the best dining experiences I've had, ever! If you're looking for a relaxed, yet sophisticated dining experience with food that is so OUTSTANDING, you need to go here!!! Our server, Dio, was so knowledgeable about everything from the chefs credentials, where the food was sourced from, to the best wine to compliment your entree. Ugh, can't wait to return!!! And hats off to the valet guy! It was raining hard tonight and he did his job with a smile and grace in such a prompt manner! Much respect!!!
If you’re looking for a place to "be seen" while grappling with a steak knife that feels like a medieval prop, Adalina Prime is your spot. We started with the Parker House rolls, which were great and plentiful, though choosing them over the biscuits was a genuine internal struggle. Things got weird with the "Amuse Yourself" course; I ordered the WTF and felt exactly that—it was a muddled mess where flavors went to die. My wife got the LOL and was clearly the winner of that round. Fair warning: the portions are sized for a small infantry. The Truffled Caesar and the Baked Scallop-Cargot could easily satisfy a table of six, so with just two of us, it felt like we were training for a competitive eating circuit. That said, the steaks are legitimately excellent. Both the City Filet and the NY Strip were cooked to perfection—tender, moist, and everything a high-end steakhouse should be. They offer a "salt library" to season your meat; the Truffle and the Porcini & Balsamic are the standouts, while the Smoked Bourbon is... a choice. Honestly, they should trade the salt library for a knife library, because the current steak knives are oversized, awkward, and trying way too hard. The only real misses were the Oyster Mushrooms, which were the "participation trophy" of sides, and the Coastline Martini. The tableside service is classic and polished, but unless you want your last sip to taste like a face-plant into the Atlantic, avoid that briny "sea water" finish. If you have any room left, the Apple Crumble Pie is mandatory, if only to witness the massive architectural block of ice cream they perch on top.
Jim provided us with exceptional service. The atmosphere is second to none. We ordered appetizers, drinks and desserts and were extremely pleased with them all. Our Valentines weekend got off to an amazing start thanks to our first stop being at Adalina Prime.
Jimmy L, our waiter, made this experience exceptional. He made every part of our time at Adalina exactly what we wanted. From the recommendations, to making space for two friends that randomly were nearby, to splitting our plates bc we wanted to try it all. Jimmy is old school classic waiter that knows how to create the best experience. The food was exceptional. The sea bass was the best I've ever had. The waygu steak (in comparison to others) was good but the fish stood out more. The oysters of the day were delicious, not pink moons I was hoping for, but just as good. Dessert I would not recommend, the strawberry pie was dry and uninteresting. Martini service and atmosphere were the tops! I can't wait to come back and enjoy this Adalina again! Lastly, for a place of this caliber the prices were very reasonable!
We had an amazing experience at Adalina Prime! I visited with my wife and kids, and everything from start to finish was excellent. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, the food was outstanding, and the service was attentive and professional without being overbearing. It’s not always easy to find a place that delivers a high-end dining experience while still making a family feel comfortable, but Adalina Prime did exactly that. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal, and we truly felt taken care of.
Jim gave us a fantastic experience! His recommendations were spot on, and we had a wonderful meal - caviar chicken nuggets, biscuits, wagyu corn dogs, hamachi crudo, steak, cacio e pepe creamed spinach, a truffle pasta, and the seasonal apple pie. Family style is the way to go here, so you can try a lot of items. Next time I want to try the short ribs and the strawberry cake. It looked so good! Also, the old fashioned was delicious!
Jason was above and beyond amazing. He not only took the time to explain the off menu specials for the day, but also explained the questions we had about the regular menu steaks. He was attentive, yet read the social ques when we were just enjoying our dinner and conversation. He was personable, charming and funny. We plan to take our mothers here for Mother’s Day and would love to have him as our server again. He truly makes the night feel like an experience and made us feel like a special guest rather than just another table.
Today we had the pleasure of visiting the brand-new Adalina restaurant, and the experience exceeded all expectations! The bar impressed us with its elegant interior and welcoming atmosphere. The service was impeccable – with plenty of attentive staff making sure every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and served at the highest level. The entire evening was simply flawless – from the very first moments to the last. We were already thinking about our next visit before we even left the restaurant. I truly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates outstanding service, a wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional cuisine!
I visited Adalina Prime over the weekend and had an amazing experience. I’ve been to Adalina many times and was really looking forward to trying their new concept, and I was not disappointed! The space is stunning, with a warm and modern feel that makes it perfect for a night out. The food was excellent across the board, but my favorite dish was the sea bass in Thai curry- it was flavorful and perfectly cooked. You can tell there’s a lot of thought behind the menu. Service was just as great- attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The whole night was so special and I can’t wait to come back!
What an experience! From the great service to the amazing food! Definitely would recommend to anyone! The meat was tender and the Potatoes were the best! Water was refilled even when it was only half empty. Dishes were moved the second I got done! Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean and neat. This place deserves more than a 5/5!
1st time at restaurant. We went for New years eve. Gorgeous building, decorations were really nice. Service was attentive, even with how busy they were getting. The food was delicious.
First time trying AP. Wow is the restaurant beautiful, and so elegant. Rob waited on us, and had a special table waiting for the birthday boy. Rob was classy, and really cool. We started with a bottle of champagne, that was really tasty. Then decided on whiskey sour, and a dirty Martini, which both were strong, and delicious. For apps, we ordered avocado ceviche, clam chowder. I'm not a fan of clam chowder, but it was good. The ceviche was amazing, and a must try. The ceviche was accompanied by veggies chips, or vegan chips. Can't remember tbh. They had a nice crunch and were really good. If you're a mushroom lover, you must try the sauteed mushrooms, and of course the French fries. For dinner we ordered, 22 oz ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. Incredible taste, and tender. I decided on the eggplant Parmesan, which I loved.
I recently dined at Adalina Prime and had such a great experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely delicious. The service was just as impressive as the food. Every staff member I interacted with was attentive, professional, and welcoming, which really elevated the entire evening. Adalina Prime sets the bar high for both quality and hospitality, and I’ll definitely be coming back! ❤️
They were so accommodating. We went last night for my partners birthday. First, on our way to the restaurant we were side swiped and had to wait on the state trooper. They pushed it back for us and after we arrived at our new reservation time we were seated in the middle of the dining hall away from heavy traffic, but I get cold easily so when I saw a booth open up I asked to be moved and they had no problem changing tables. I believe our servers names were Cass and Kate and they were sooooooo knowledgeable and kind. They gave great suggestions and checked on us at a reasonable rate. The food was pretty good. I was expecting the bill to be at lease $700 but it was priced at around $400. We ordered a half dozen raw oysters, two drinks, 2 shots of patron añejo, Brussel sprouts, asparagus, ceviche, a bone in ribeye, mushrooms, biscuits, and halibut fish. It all was pretty darn good. The only reason I gave the food 4 stars is because the steak was a little too fatty for my liking. But over all this was a win. The ambience is very cozy and luxurious. Would definitely go again. It kind of reminds me of a restaurant that use to be up north called 3forks.
I came here to celebrate my birthday. There was Valet service. The atmosphere and service were great. I had the espresso martini, oysta Rockafeller, Bone in Ribeye, and Lobster Cheesy Corn. The steak was cooked perfectly and the corn had plenty of lobster. I also received a complimentary slice of cake for my birthday. It was pretty and DELICIOUS! It was a very enjoyable experience.
Adalina Prime is so fun! I love the decor and how they made it extra special for the holidays. The food was amazing and they had some unique items on the menu inspired by the chefs. I also loved the flavored salts you can choose. They were very accommodating for young children too and provided a high chair.
Wow wow wow! I don’t usually make reviews but after last night, I can’t help myself. Adalina Prime is a VIBE! Ambiance was perfect - very swanky and dimly lit with the cascading chandeliers. We had the honor of having Trey as our server. He was super friendly, thorough, and kept us entertained throughout the night. We were celebrating a friend’s engagement and he made sure to go out of the way to make her feel special. Our group shared the steak frites, wedge salad, and Mac n cheese. Dessert was the strawberry cake. The stars of the show were the Mac n cheese and strawberry cake. I can’t wait to come back and try more options! 10/10.
I swear this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a really long time! My server Luis was phenomenal! He knew everything didn’t skip any explanation I didn’t even need to ask for anything, very polite very efficient I was pleased from start to finish, it’s my birthday today and I appreciate Adelina prime making it as special as it was! I will be coming back and letting everyone I know to come pay you guys a visit! Thank you so much for the hospitality!
We had a wonderful experience at Adalina Prime! We were celebrating my fiancés new promotion and the waiter immediately brought over complimentary Prosecco. The service was impecable from start to finish. I would highly recommend the truffle Caesar and the cheddar biscuits. I had the steak frites which were phenomenal. The asparagus and whipped potato’s were just okay nothing special. My fiance absolutely loved her Wagyu steak! We will be back!
We had a great time! Our server Selina was amazing! She went over the menu and helped us select delicious food choices, we’ll definitely come again!
From the moment we stepped into this refined haven of steakhouse excellence, we knew we were in for something special. The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. The Lobster Potpie is amazing.
I’ve been eyeing this restaurant ever since it opened. I finally got the chance to come in this past weekend and I was absolutely blown away by the food and the service. The restaurant is gorgeous and hands down, one of the best steaks in the city. In addition to that, the service was top notch. Jason was our server and he made it a very memorable evening. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and kind. He was so fun and made us feel right at home. I took his recommendation to get the golden hour cocktail, hamachi and the brussels sprouts and they were all fantastic! I will most definitely be back. Thank you Adalina Prime for an amazing evening. I will be recommending your restaurant to all my friends.
Selina is an amazing server! She gave us the run down of all the best menu items and was so friendly and personable. The decor inside is incredible and the food was delicious!
First time here. Catie was outstanding! Great recommendations. She knew the menu very well. Bone-In, Seabass, Spouts Crispy Style, And Lobster Corn were all delicious!
I came during restaurant week I had their lunch 3 course for $30 it was definitely worth it, Luis was a great server. I hear they are pretty busy at night so I definitely recommend reservations
The best of the best!!!!!! I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and attentive. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance of vibrant and elegant, making it a place I immediately wanted to linger in. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — clearly crafted with care and fresh ingredients. It’s rare to find a spot where everything clicks so perfectly, but this one delivers on all fronts. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
Came for a cocktail at the bar and ended up ordering the porterhouse, and the lobster pot pie amongst other things and was very pleased with the quality and service. Parker was our server and he did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend you sit at the bar and find him when you can. Cheers
Went here for my birthday for the 1st time. Atmosphere is beautiful. Staff very friendly and professional. Food is great. I would definitely visit again.
Me and my husband went for our two year anniversary and they did an awesome job! our waiter was Ronaldo and he remembered it was our anniversary right when we sat down! The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was spot on! I can’t tell you last time I’ve had good service as well as good food!
Adalina Prime is West Loop’s newest gem. A vibe that’s both romantic and cozy, yet full of energy. The steaks are flawless, and the Chilean seabass was outstanding. The staff and ownership are true pros—they make the whole experience seamless and welcoming. And don’t skip dessert—the strawberry cake is next level. We can’t wait to go back!
Our server, Jason was spectacular. Informative, efficient and attentive. Chef Nemanja is an absolute rockstar. This place is dynamite start to finish.
Great service from our waiter Jim! Dino rib and sea bass were delicious main dishes and the wine pairings went really well with our food. It was our anniversary and they graciously provided us with prosecco and a dessert to finish our meal. Great restaurant all around, but it was a bit louder than we expected, our table wasn’t ready when we arrived on time, and the bar that the hostess suggested we stand at was completely packed. Still a great experience overall!
What an outstanding experience. Our server Dio was excellent. He was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made thoughtful recommendations and truly made the evening a great night. The Kagoshima Wagyu steak he suggested was exceptional. The food overall was top-tier, and the atmosphere was perfect. Dio’s service stood out and made the entire experience seamless. Highly recommend asking for him and trusting his recommendations. Looking forward to returning!!!
This was the best dining experience my wife and I have ever had. Trey was our waiter, and he was truly exceptional. He greeted us with warmth, genuine positivity, and made sure every part of our visit was outstanding. He walked us through the menu, offered recommendations, and ensured we felt confident in our choices. The service was flawless, and the food was absolutely incredible. There wasn’t a single thing we could have complained about. If you dine here, I highly recommend asking for Trey he will elevate your entire experience.
I went into Adalina Prime today for a restaurant week. Not only was the food, incredible, but the service was among the best I’ve ever received. From the time we walked into the door, Damien and Isabella both greeted us warmly. Our servers, Mike, Parker and Santos were all incredibly kind and gave fantastic recommendations on the menu. Even Travis at the bar greeted us upon our entering and exiting the restaurant. While, the food was outstanding, it is the warmth and kindness of the staff that will keep me coming back for years to come. Adalina Prime is an incredible and much needed addition to the Chicago food scene. Also, their lunch menu is a must try! Do not leave without trying the coconut soft serve
We went for restaurant week and it was such a good deal, so so so delicious, and so beautiful inside! My favorite restaurant week ever thus far. The tomato soup was so herbaceous and flavorful. Got the cheddar prime burger which was so flavorful and filling! We split the Brussels sprouts and Mac & cheese which were also amazing! The desert was between a soft serve ice cream or cookie and the soft serve ice cream was so good too & we dipped our cookies in the soft serve. 10/10 recommend and can’t wait to come back for happy hour! Shout out to our server, Aldo B! Great recommendations and phenomenal service!
Adaline Prime was my first time visiting with a friend, and it was an incredible experience! From the front desk to the kitchen, everyone was exceptional. This is a shining example of what the service industry should be like! Our server, Dio, was incredibly accommodating and made our dining experience even more memorable. The food was delicious, and I have to give a big shoutout to the chefs!
It’s a beautiful space, a little chaotic, but gorgeous. The cocktails were all quite nice. We had a truffle Caesar salad that tasted fresh with a good crunch. The onion petals and scallop-cargot were forgettable. We had bone-in ribeyes which was quite good with the fun choose your seasoning salt box. The lobster pot pie is a heavy and filling dish. It’s an insta dish. Good for photo but doesn’t taste very special. We also ordered the oyster mushrooms and brussels sprouts and both were delicious. Our waitress, Catie, is very bubbly and helpful. We really liked her and she made our dinner experience special and more enjoyable.
We went there to celebrate one of my friend 35 birthday. Couldn't get a reservation inlet at 9.30 on on a Saturday night. They were crazy busy, really busy. When you enter in this restaurant right away it is an amazing welcoming modern extravagante entrance. The atmosphere was boiling, antourage real nice and welcoming. After 5 min. Waiting we were sitted in the main room. Nice and elegant, but crowded. Waited for our waiter Marcus, he was nice, but we hardly understand what was he talking. He looked like a little bit stressed. We ordered our salat then 4 ribeye streaks with side dishes... Here was the kick Our steak s came out after one hour and 10 minutes, COLD... Then mixed up the birthday cake, so from 9.30 we left at 1 am... Was not happy We were so hungry, that we ate our steak cold, we didn't want to wait again for who know s how long??? Anyway, the manager was so nice took care of us, but... gave us a different experience. The restaurant it's new și they still have to figure out the big crowed handling. Overall The ambience was nice Waiter was nice, but mubaling Atmosphere nice Food would be good if would it be hot So yes, despite of the crazy experience I still recomand it.
Adalina Prime is absolutely beautiful. The space is stunning, thoughtfully designed, and feels very upscale. The menu is also interesting and creative, with a lot of appealing options that made ordering genuinely exciting. That said, the main reason for the lower rating has nothing to do with the food or ambiance — it’s the bathroom setup, which was extremely uncomfortable. The restroom is designed as a completely open, shared space with sinks and stalls that anyone can access at any time. There is no separation by gender and essentially no sense of privacy. As a woman, this felt incredibly awkward and honestly inappropriate for a high-end restaurant. It’s not a casual bar or club, and the lack of privacy was jarring enough to detract from the overall experience. It’s one of those design choices that may sound modern or edgy on paper, but in practice feels uncomfortable and unnecessary — especially in a fine dining setting. It’s unfortunate because everything else about the venue is so well done. With a more thoughtful restroom design, this could easily be a much higher-rated experience. Until then, it’s hard to fully relax and enjoy the night, no matter how beautiful the space or how interesting the menu is.
As a fan of Adalina, I was disappointed to find that Adalina Prime is more style than substance The good news is that the steak here really is quite good - it’s flavorful and well-cooked, and I appreciate when a steakhouse’s signature items actually are their best ones. The accompanying salt box is a nice tough, and there’s some nice work throughout the accompanying sauces / spreads overall (the giardiniera aioli and Calabrian butter are highlights) The downside is the rest of the food was quite underwhelming. The Chilean sea bass came to us cold and under-seasoned, the fries were unremarkable, and the biggest letdown was the mac and cheese tteokbokki - I had been most excited for this dish but the sauce was bland and grainy (bordering split) while the tteokbokki was overcooked and mushy. The carrots a l’orange were decent, but overly sweet and not special or plentiful enough to warrant their $28 price tag Outside of the food - the space is beautiful and well-appointed, but unfortunately fairly loud (likely due to the closeness of the tables and the way high ceilings can be cavernous). Like the food, the service also seems to be more about image than execution. There was the impression of wanting to have a traditional level of fine service (the formal uniforms of the wait staff, the bathroom attendant), but its efforts focused more on appearance and dropped the ball on the things that mattered. Our server would wordlessly fiddle with our lamp in passing about 11 times, but didn’t bring us serving spoons for two dishes and our leftovers were mistakenly discarded instead of bagged and brought to us (though credit that he offered to have the kitchen fire something in recompense). The bathroom attendant would ask if we needed a toothpick, but saw me walk into and immediately exit a stall (due to substandard cleanliness) and not move to address the issue. The pacing of the food was good, but one of our entrees came out cold. The true hallmark of good service is about consideration and anticipation of the patron’s needs, and Adalina Prime doesn’t quite have that yet either It’s not a bad time, just not a good one (especially given the price point), and I can’t see myself choosing or recommending Adalina Prime when there are so many other great steakhouses in the city
I was excited to try this place for my birthday, but it ended up being pretty disappointing. The menu was surprisingly boring, and nothing stood out. The oysters had a strange soapy aftertaste, and the tart was way too salty. Portions were small for the high prices. We don’t drink alcohol, so I ordered a non-alcoholic Prosecco, but it tasted like a bitter orange soda. Both of us got steak — good quality meat but not cooked well. The sides (whipped potatoes, asparagus, corn) were the best part of the meal. For a 350$ bill+tip+valet (400$+) I expected much better service and food. Our server never checked on us, and we had to ask busboys for basic things. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but overall not worth the money. Plenty of better spots in Chicago like Gibsons Italia ,Swift & Sons, Tre Dita ecc
Honestly, I expected much more from this place. The food was disappointing. The sea bass was rubbery; the sauce was so spicy it was so curry you couldn't even tell what you were eating. The steak was good, but not great. The biggest disappointment was that we had to wait 50 minutes to be seated, even though we had a reservation. Our reservation was for 7:15 PM, but we weren't seated until 8 PM. I didn't get my meal until 8:55 PM. It's too late for dinner for me..Honestly, I was very disappointed. If you're so booked up, you need to manage it better. The interior is beautiful, but the music selection is strange and incredibly loud. I was surprised by the place, with its interior and olive trees, and then suddenly club music, especially loud music, ruins the whole atmosphere, in my opinion. Too many people and club music doesn't make you feel like you've come to a beautiful restaurant to have a good evening and enjoy the food.
Had a reservation at 9:15 and got seated at 9:40. 5 parties that came after us got seated ahead of us. Then got seated and no one came to talk to us for 25 minutes. Everyone was loud and playing on their phones with the speaker up. Then we waited a hour to get our food. All the tables around us that were seated after us got their food before us again. Steak was cold and you can tell it was sitting out. Then I was charged the wrong menu price for the steak. Overall will not be coming back here. I thought maybe they would comp the steak for the bad service and experience but the waiter gave me an attitude after that. Probably the worst experience I've had at a steakhouse in chicago. I understand it's a busy night but if you want people to pay a premium for food and experience then I expect the service to be up to par.
