Delicious brisket that makes you want more. Fresh juices are very delicious and are goodby themselves but better with some BBQ. Limited seating but get it to go and enjoy at home. Am looking forward to each visit with hunger and thirst so I can have even more food and drink from here

We did a day trip to Chico from San Francisco and being that we are Jamaican! We had to stop by. The owner was beyond pleasant to me and my family very welcoming. Freshly pressed juice! The food was very delicious and he definitely didn’t disappoint. Very clean establishment as well.

Just stopped in for my first time tonight a little before closing- felt bad being one of those people but the two working were so nice about it! I’m so glad I got to eat from this place. I got the jerk chicken plate with a side of collard greens. The plate was massive so I thought I didn’t need the collard greens until I ate the whole side bc they were tender juicy n EXTREMELY TASTY. The jerk chicken was unreal melted in my mouth seasoned to perfection. In my opinion I wouldn’t say it’s spicy but Ive grown up eating spicy foods but I like things that have all the flavors because then you don’t need to overpower it with spice. I can’t even believe how delicious this was. I’ve traveled a lot and come from a family of Italian cooks who ran a catering business and I would say that this food gives me the same experience that my family’s gives me. Warms your heart and stomach. Beautiful people beautiful food thank you!!!

New small business!! Solid Jamaican food in Chico, surprisingly. Good Jerk Chicken& Cheese Sando for $5 solid Curry Goat, good Mac and cheese. Come to out some Caribbean flavours in the heart of downtown Chico near Arco station. Indoor and outdoor seating. Support local!

I have been recommended this spot for a while now, and though I don't usually review take out specific restaurants, I figured I would for the sake of Flavors of Chico. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with Carribean colors and the sweet smell of Jamaican spices. Friendly staff made this visit pleasant and easy. Disclaimer: you have to like spicy food to get the traditional Jerk Chicken. It's very tasty and adds more flavor with their house sauce. The BBQ Pork Sandwich was a flavorful, sweet mix of BBQ and Pork. The well seasoned Carribean Jerk Chicken is full of spice and flavor that transports you to the Carribean. This is a new Gem in Chico and should definitely be on your list of places to visit for the spicy food lovers. 15/15

I've said it before and I'll say it again – this place is the absolute top location in Chico for brisket. I'm a bit picky about meat cuz so many places just don't know how to really make it good, but these folks slow-cook to perfection. The meat is so tender, and even the fat is. SO. TENDER. and 0% unchewable/gristly – you could probably spread it on toast like butter. Their jerk chicken, coleslaw, and beans are also all quite fabulous. Didn't take any pics of the brisket this time around, but noticed an improvement in its presentation since my last visit.

Best Caribbean food in Chico!!! The meat is juicy and tender and spicy! I got the meat sampler with rice and peas. The rice and peas were very flavorful and creamy. Highly recommend also their Jamaican patties.

We stopped here for lunch on a recommendation from a co worker and boy are we glad we did. This place has amazing food and the owners are very kind. The portion sizes are huge and packed full of flavor. Their bowls are massive for the price and even the little 5$ sandwiches are the size of a normal hamburger. If you want some high quality BBQ, I would definitely give them a try.

My husband and I stopped by for the first time tonight. We ordered the full rack of rib special with 3 sides- Mac and cheese, rice and beans, and salad. Everything was AMAZING. The ribs are so flavorful, tender, and juicy. The bbq sauce is delicious. The macaroni and cheese was thick and perfect and I’m going to day dream about it for sure! The rice and beans were cooked perfectly, and even the side salad had lots of beautiful veggies and a really delicious spicy dressing. Everything was made from scratch and made with a lot of love and care. I highly recommend this place! I can’t wait to come back and try the other meats and juices! They have a nice covered outdoor seating area. The folks working there are very nice. Thanks Juice Unwind, you made this pregnant lady very happy!

Absolutely the BEST bbq and carribean food in the north state. If you haven't become addicted to their jerk chicken, coleslaw, pork ribs, ox tail, rice and beans or any one of several oustanding juices yet, then you owe it to yourself to get over there and stuff some into your face. I’ve eaten here a handful of times and it’s always so good. Today I picked up jerk chicken salads for my sister and I and wow the portions were big! Definitely good value for the price. I’d say you can even split the salad between two people! The staff is always friendly and their fresh juices are also delicious. Definitely recommend.

Enough to get on here and type out my first negative review. Like I said, fair enough, but I'll not be eating here or recommending it, I prefer friendly businesses not this big city trust no one energy.

Yesterday 7/3/25 at around 4pm I was on the receiving end of an employee who either doesn't have a clue how to talk to customers or just doesn't enjoy his job. I called beforehand to place my order and spoke to a nice lady on the phone. She took my order and asked for my name. Said it would be about 5 or 10 min. I arrive and immediately walk up to the counter. Some guy is standing at the register. I give him my name and he immediately tells me to "wait" in a rude way. No eye contact and just in a real dismissive tone. I admit I was taken aback and annoyed by that. He then called up another guy who was seated and waiting for his order before me which is fine but like I said his tone and demeanor was totally off putting. So then he calls my name and I approach the counter. He asks me what my order was. Like quizzing me. Which is odd since my order should be under my name so I don't really see the point in having me memorize my whole order. All that did was just lead to another awkward exchange between us. Keep in mind no smiling or warmth at all coming from him. Just very cold. He walked away to go do whatever and the lady who I assume was the same one that took my order over the phone took over the register. No issue at all with her. Very nice and knows how to talk to people. I was so annoyed by that guy that I briefly thought about not tipping but then I felt bad because the lady made up for his rudeness. Some of these restaurants need to understand that it's not just about the food. The food is only half the equation. If the food is good but the service is rude or bad then you probably just lost a customer. You have to be good at both. That's what keeps people coming back. Funny thing is me and my buddy go out and eat once or twice a month to various restaurants around town. I told him about this place a few weeks ago and how we should go but now that won't happen as I won't be returning. Maybe I'll get over it eventually but not anytime soon. That male employee needs some serious customer service training.
