THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD! Go here and be happy. The consume ... oh my goodness. So much flavor in one delicious cup of soup! The tacos are so tasty, you’ll need two or three. The salsas are all delicious and have a good variety of flavors and heat levels. The staff is so friendly & will welcome you with a smile. TIP —> Order the tacos and consume and you will be happy. Even if you don’t like soup! TIP —> even if you aren’t Hispanic, speak Spanish and do your best to order, because they will appreciate the effort and help you out. TIP —> I could just stand there watching Florencio make tacos all day. Check it out! He has quite a talent.

Amazing place I would only change the way u have to order like if u want birria you have to order it in a specific spot or else you'd be ordering something completely different. I love the decor it's very fun and colorful even though the walls are teared up a bit.

While this is not a fancy or aesthetically desirable establishment, the food is excellent! The atmosphere was modest and quaint but disturbed by loud and continuous meat clever chopping freshly grilled meat with a smokey flavor. The establishment did not smell like smoke making the genuine smoked flavor a pleasant surprise. I recommend ordering to go.

Dining Experience The staff was friendly and welcoming as I walked in. The adobada on the grill immediately caught my eye, so I decided to try the Torta de Adobada. The torta came with crispy bread, a generous portion of sliced adobada, and all the toppings. Served with lemon and radish on the side, it was packed with flavor. Other Menu Options They also offer tacos, quesadillas, and birria, with a focus on quality ingredients. Prices are on the higher side, but the food quality makes it worth a try. Ambiance & Convenience There are two outdoor round tables, making it a potentially dog-friendly spot. Conveniently located near Costco, Regal Cinema, and 24 Hour Fitness, making it a great pre- or post-errand meal stop. If you're in the area and craving charcoal-grilled tacos with bold flavors, Tacos El Poblano is worth checking out!

I have been here a few times and it never disappoints. The food is good and service is quick. My only knock on them is the price, they’re one of the most expensive taco shops in Chula Vista. We got 10 tacos, 2 drinks and it came out to $32. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite then check them out.

Came to this place in the Rancho del Rey area after an a day at the nearby bowling alley. My friend and I wanted to grab a quick bite and we found this place. For the location it is in, the food is very reasonably priced, and the wait time is not too long (although we did not order during a lunch rush). The taste was great and the location was kept clean. I would not have typically gone to eat here unless I specifically looked for a nearby Mexican food restaurant, but I am glad I did.

Im giving it a three star because the food was edible but not memorable. I ordered adobada tacos and carne asada tacos. The adobada meat tasted like it was cooked several hours earlier and had been sitting in a pot just overcooking because it was so dry when I bit into my food. It was a little spicy which is fine but had no flavor. They had no cooked onions they had no pickled carrots to add on. The carne asada was OK. But wouldn't come back. The food was very overpriced for the quality served. 🥲

Absolutely disgusting experience… i wasn’t even a customer but every single chef Catcalled my friend bc she was asian and in shorts… never supporting this establishment.

I don't know what the lime green water down stuff is; they call it guacamole. As a Mexican accustomed to eating authentic guacamole in my tacos, this was an insult. For the price we paid for a family pack, they should throw in some real avocados 🥑

I saw a video about this place, how the food is great & the guy whom was food- tasting & viewing tacos El poblano was invited everyone to try it out. First of all, looks can be deceiving. The mulas are way too small, in the video it was bigger & cheesier. "WRONG!" I was "NOT PLEASED!" It had a werid taste to it. Had too much oinions, & less cheese. They can really con-viewers into coming into this joint,(EL POBLANO) & then when you get the order. It's like WHAAAAAT! First-time and LAST. I rate this place a big fat zero .😖👎

I get there’s an inflation, but $49 for half order is straight up ripping people off. I (mistakenly) relied on an old menu and order half an order of carne asada to go, thinking it was $26 dlls. We got plenty of tortillas about 20 and meat for about 6 tacos (mini size tortillas). It’s taking advantage of customers. No taco tastes good after paying that much. Salsa was bland. We got about 1/4 cup of guacamole. It was a ripoff.
