I was in town for a softball tournament and this was my first time eating here and OMG the sandwich was amazingly delicious!!! I placed my order online from the field for store pickup and it was ready by the time promised. This will be a must go to eat when we are back in Citrus Heights!!!

Mr Pickle's is always a treat. I'm not sure why but I just really enjoy eating there. The food is always good. The service is excellent. And who can complain about a free cookie? I will go out of my way to eat at a Mr Pickle's simply because I enjoy eating there.

Ok, so testimonial here, this past weekend ordered online from the Sylvan Citrus Heights Mr. pickles store ordered two of the club sandwiches and they were the best we’ve had in a long time. The store was very busy this weekend and the wait was a tiny bit longer but the sandwiches are gourmet and very tasty very delicious so much though that I came back today on Tuesday for another sandwich I highly recommend this place they are awesome people and they work hard to make gourmet sandwiches for you

Great sandwich shop! There's a wide variety of decent quality ingredients. This used to be my favorite sandwich place until I moved away. Today I ate here again and am reminded why I enjoyed it so much.

I had decided I wanted a Club Sandwich today. I don't believe I had been to Mr. Pickels, Citrus Heights since the pandemic. I recalled that I had a very good Club Sandwich at that location. I ordered the Club Sandwich on Multigrain sliced bread and substituted cheddar cheese for Jack Cheese. When I went to pick up order it was ready and waiting. When I arrived home, I first took a photo of the beauty. The sandwich was exactly as ordered and very fresh and flavorful. I really liked the flavor of the Multigrain bread. Such an enjoyable feast. Obviously, the standards at Mr. Pickels Citrus Heights continue to be superior and extremely fresh. Thank you for such an outstanding lunch (and probably dinner).

The service and food are great. I’ve had fun banter with the staff and within moments my order was ready. I struggle with the cost as I’m sure many of us do these days. It makes it hard to be as frequent a patron as I’d like.

I think the "listen Linda" is the best sandwich I've had in 40 yrs. I could eat here twice a week and not get tired of it. Chefs kiss delicious 😘 And the pickles (whole & sliced) are the best! Highly recommend.

This place has great ladies that work here. All are kind, polite, courteous, and great to chat with of you get them when they are not so busy. We have had a few incidents that food wasn't what we regularly expected however each lady seems to have their specialty on what they make the best. Also they have been training new people. So they are learning what to do, how to do it, and get the hang of doing their job regularly. Thank you ladies for your awesomeness.

it was a delicious steak club sandwich, but it was in no way a Philly cheese steak sandwich, don't expect it to be anything like what you would get in Philly. the reason it's getting 5 stars is because it was friggin delicious. the girls working there were fun, delightful attitudes, and worked/supported each other through our large order with ease. we lucked out and went there when it wasn't busy, so we were in and out very quickly.

Great food in this place. The reason why I docked a star is because it is kind of old and dirty. It nothing extreme I dinned in and survived to tell the tale but if I had to take my family here I would pick a better place. Plus, it is fairly cramped on space. However, if you are just here for the food, great place. Also beware they close really early.

Really good sando shop. It was a bit busy with togo/online orders today, but nothing crazy. We ordered 6 sandwiches, all different and all of them we were made correctly. Also, a free cookie for dessert is a nice gift.

Always liked this place. Small, quaint and fresh ingredients. The staff were super friendly and very prompt in their service. My only complaints are: they didn't have a functioning restroom so you could wash your hands prior to eating, the arrangement if the tables/order/pickup areas was tight and easily crowded. I realize now that they are under construction and the intent is to have more seating outside and open things up a bit. All in all still a great place to grab a great sandwich.

The sandwich and the customer service was great. Good location and well kept up place. Liked everything but the price. Whoa momma, I'm not spending that much for a sandwich unless I get a bonus at work. LOL. I guess if you want a good quality sandwich but don't mind paying for it. I have a family of four and when it tips close to the 60 dollar range, that's a little to rich for my blood.

Great sandwiches! I love the dutch crunch bread, sooooooooo good. The garlic sauce that they use is AMAZING! I like to order online so I can pick up without waiting. They are popular, so they usually have a small line. Every sandwich comes with a yummy fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. 😋

Stopped by this place with the fam and it was overall a pleasant experience. I felt customer service could be a little more personable for a smaller sandwich shop like this, but they were kind and professional . Everyone seemed to love what they chose... Definitely err on the side of getting one of their specialty sandwiches . I got the tuna salad (I know....boring...but I was sharing with a picky eater lol). The bread that came with it was super hard and chewy and i think customer service could've been taken to the next level if they had offered to toast it , or suggested a better bread choice . But based on my family's sandwiches I'd give these guys another chance :)

The sandwich was mediocre, asked for the softest bread and it wasn't. The pepperchini needed to be stemed and sliced, also the tomatoes were lackluster with no flavor at all. I also bought a bottled soda from the cooler that was flat. I wasn't very impressed with the overall quality of the food. Going to be very hungry before I stop there again. This was my second time going here and basically was the same as the first. Highly disappointing l.

The food was solid, the indoor tables were all, ALL unclean. We sat down as the only people inside and the 3 young people worked to make 3 sandwiches and never once made eye contact, acknowledged my wife upon entry and never offered to clean up the tables. One got off their shift as we ate. Training is in order here. Customer service after cleanliness, especially after COVID!

For the price it is not worth it. I paid 37 dollars for 2 sandwiches 2 chips and 2 salads. The potato salad was horrible. Potatoes were hard. The meat in the sandwich was excellent but the bread was really hard. I liked my sandwich more than my wife. She prefers subway. Lol I might give them another try.

Friendly staff but recently the store was bought by a new person and the prices of the sandwiches went up. Especially my favorite half sandwich special. Good quality sandwiches and usually quick service if the line isn't long (I avoid going between 12-12:30).

I got the veggie pesto sandwich on sourdough. The bread was tough, so my filling squished out. My friend said that sourdough is always like that, so ymmv. The sandwich flavors got lost in the abundance of sauce, which was more mayo than anything. The pasta salad is the same that comes in tubs at the grocery store. The cookie was ok. Meh. We sat outside, which was nice.

This was my first time visiting. I had a cold turkey sandwich. It was okay. The lettuce was mostly browned and bad. There wasn’t much turkey, bacon or avocado on the sandwich.

I remember when this was my favorite sandwich shop, but this was years ago! Now they never have my choice of bread , and when they do it is extremely stale and horrible... I tossed 3/4 of my sandwich in the trash. I also remember when the meat was properly spread out and there was enough meat.... now it's thinly spread and not enough to go from end to end... I wanted to give them one star, but I still hope they will return to their old ways and remember what made them great years ago.

Staff is not friendly. They were impatient when my kids were trying to decide what they wanted. Sandwiches are OK, but on the expensive side. Very limited seating inside (there is a covered area to sit outside but only worth it when the weather is warm). All in all...meh. Not likely to return.

I will start out by saying I have loved Mr Pickles for years. I have eaten at/from several of their locations and they have always been consistent with excellent food and service. I’ve wanted to try this location for a while because of their unique outdoor covered patio. I ordered my sandwich of with no onions and of course she put onions on it. I had the Hot T before but this time it just wasn’t the same, the sandwich was just ok, the bread wasn’t all that fresh and not enough cranberry sauce. Then I’m eating on the patio and the same girl that made my sandwich decided to take a personal call out there using her speaker phone. Talk about drama and she was cussing up a storm . Lame. Right in front of me the customer. Won’t be back here but I will continue to go to other locations.

The service at this shop has continuously gone downhill since new owners took over. I ordered a hot t sandwich but I wanted it cold. Then I asked for mayo and cranberry sauce to b put on top and bottom bread(crunch roll). The sandwich I got was a cold t but WAS NOT on a crunch roll. Also there was no mayo or cranberry sauce on top roll. The "cranberry" sauce that was on there was not even real cranberry sauce. It was a cranberry flavored paste. I was totally disappointed and will never go back there again.
