Fast service and great food! They were super friendly! Lot of food but its so good you have to eat it all but then I was stuffed! I got the Bento Teriyaki Chicken Breast. It had great flavor and their Teriyaki is the best ever! Super good Value! It cost less than if I cooked at home. My family all loved it and we are super picky food snobs! Don't know why I never ate there before but we definitely be back!

The best food in all SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA! They also make the freshest SUSHI! So delicious! Shout out to the Sushi Chef he is extremely talented and has years of experience! Definitely recommend this gem!

Ordered via DoorDash. Ive always had very good food from TeriyakiToGo. I dont know what changed but this time was BEYOND EXCELLENT!! Chicken and Beef Bento Box, Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura, Chicken Teriyaki Noodles, Miso Soup and even the Edamame were amazing. Even seemed like more food...I will have delicious leftovers for days.

My family and I have been going to Teriyaki to Go for the last 14 years. We are obsessed with their noodles bowls, with no veggies! There was a brief 3 year period within the 14 where their main sauce changed, maybe the recipe changed or was altered. It wasn't the same and tasted off. We would still order but ask for no sauce, and add our own. But the last 2 years, there sauce has made a comeback. It's still not the same, but still really good. The place is on the smaller side internally with table and chairs, but they do what they can with the space they have. I love the atmosphere and their personality, always wanting to go up and beyond for everyone that walks through the door. I recently tried their new sushi bar as well and the rolls surprised me, they were beautiful and flavorful. They frequently exceed my expectations.

Every time I eat here the food is excellent. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Try the chicken breast noodle bowl. I like mine extra spicy, it’s delicious!

Been going here since I was a kid when it was run by a husband and wife. My husband and I hadn't gone in a long time. It made me very glad to see it still open. The menu has always been good. It's even expanded for other dishes like sushi. Staff was friendly and the food got ready fast for us to take home. When we got home, I actually ate all of my teriyaki beef rice bowl. I normally try to only eat half but it was as good as I remembered that I just couldn't!

Spicy Thai chicken rice bowl is decently spicy. If you don't like spice, order the chicken breast teriyaki rice bowl. Flavorful and good portion size fir the price. Nice service and atmosphere was clean and brightly lite.

Used to come here all time in high school 15 years ago. Don't live in Sacramento anymore but the teriyaki is still some of the best I've had. I do miss the older lady and man that used to ask how many scoops of sauce you want and sesame seeds. That's what was missing, also portions seemed smaller but still a good meal for $12-$15

Unfortunately the food I received ended up being pretty bland, with little to no actual flavor on the chicken or in the sauce that had been added to the meal. Parts of the chicken were pretty charred and it was very dry. My rice was also a bit soggy, that might have been from the sauce that was added, but even the bits without the sauce seemed a tad mushy and were more of a rice patty at the bottom. The salad was fine enough and the added orange and big slice of tomato was appreciated. The portion size was generous, with me ending up with leftover food for later, but again it was just sadly unseasoned and tasted more like just dry chicken. I don't think that I will end up trying this location again.

I'm so sad that the owners sold this place. It's not the same. The quality of the food has gone down. The way they run the restaurant and how they plate food has changed. The sauce taste wrong. They don't ask you for scoops anymore. They just give you a side of thin awful tasting sauce. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye to the previous owners. I've been going here since I was 12 and past on the tradition to my husband and daughter. I regret today will be my last day coming here because it's not the same.

Paid $13 for a moderate size chicken teriyaki bowl. For the price I was expecting some cabbage or shredded carrots tossed in. Nope. Just rice and chicken. It was very bland. Tasted like the teriyaki bowls you can get at Costco that you can heat up in the microwave. Then I found part of a hair mixed in with the rice. Then I found what I presume was the other half of the same hair plastered to a piece of chicken. Spent the rest of the meal picking everything apart looking for more hair then ended up tossing most of it. Avoid this place. Drive to the next teriyaki place down the road.

Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other reviews that are posted here. I am a long time customer of teriyaki to go. The change of ownership has changed some of the things that made this place such a gem. The prices have increased, and the portions have gone down. The sauce… what happened???? It’s gross and watered way way down. I wouldn’t even mind their increase in price if the quality was the same as before… Hopefully they listen to these reviews. They have the same staff as before so the noodles and meat are cooked perfectly, but their changes in sauce, portion, and packaging are awful. Unfortunately I can’t see this place surviving very long unless they reverse course on these. You received an established business, with many many happy customers, why would you even consider changing so many things? Guess I’m gonna get panda tonight, ugh. So sad.
