Excelente lugar! Ideal para ir en pareja, el servicio es muy bueno y todo lo que pidas delicioso!! Imperdible su pan de papa y el orzo de Jaiba! Es un lugar al que regresaría sin problema! Eso si, tienes que reservar con anticipación.

Er Rre un bistro en Polanco, restaurante de guía michelán, mi reseña no solocitada. Un sitio super acogedor, con un servicio impecable. El pan hecho en casa marida perfectamente con el vino y el crudo de pescado que ofrecen. La preparación de los ostiones es refrescante, y los panes tomate (que son a base de brioche) con boquerones son enigmáticos. Aquí ha sido el primer ratatuille que pruebo y que me ha gustado. El pork belly tenía una dualidad mesmerizante: suave y crujiente a la vez. En resumen, vengan aquí. 5/5

La comida es espectacular, El restaurante te transporta a un real restaurante francés, espacio reducido, cálido y acogedor, poquitas mesas. La mesera quería cerrar desde que llegamos, los meseros fueron amables una vez en la mesa… creo que el servicio es un poco rudo, llegamos 7 minutos antes de nuestra reserva y casi nos reclaman por llegar antes. Nada grave, pero si esto fuera tan cálido como lo expresa el restaurante, sería un 10/10. El pan de papa con caviar es increíble…

El lugar, sencillo, pequeño, acogedor, como buen restaurante de barrio. La comida deliciosa, los sabores que logran son excepcionales, especialmente en el pan de papa y el risotto de langosta. Un detalle que no me encantó: no entiendo el criterio para asignar mesas, porque nos sentaron en la barra (a pesar de ser las primeras en llegar), pero durante nuestra permanencia en el lugar, dos mesas para dos personas (que nos hubiese gustado ocupar), permanecieron vacías.

Teníamos muchas ganas de probar este lugar y superó todas nuestras expectativas. La atención de todo el personal fue de primera, la calidad de la comida es muy alta, y al sentarnos en la barra pudimos ver la organización y el cuidado que hay detrás de la preparación de todos los platos. El pan de papa con caviar es espectacular. Este lugar solo deja ganas de regresar y probar más elementos del menú.

Tenía tantas ganas de ir, pero jamás encontraba reserva; tuve suerte porque el día que fui estaba lloviendo y seguro hubo cancelaciones. Todo deli: - me encantó la presentación y la elaboración de las sardinas - las ensaladas un must! Es algo tan básico que no es fácil prepararlo - el risotto definitivamente es su signature (para mi) estaba crunchy, cremoso… platillo para no compartir 😅 - pedimos de postre un volcán se chocolate, equis - un rotundo no son los hongos no vale la pena ni por precio, ni por presentación, ni por sabor. Muy escuetos. Les doy un 9, porque los hongos me quedaron a deber :( El personal 10!

Tuvimos una agradable experiencia en este Bistro, el cuidado a los detalles, la presencia de pulcritud de las personas que brindan servicio así como la excelente calidad y preparación de los platillos nos hicieron llevarnos una gran noche. El pan de papá es un must, la coliflor al horno es una gran sorpresa, pork belly, orzo de cangrejo. Y para cerrar los postres una delicia. El menú cambia según la disponibilidad de ingredientes

Uno de los mejores descubrimientos. Un lugar pequeño en Polanco. Súper bonito y muy cálido. La comida espectacular. El pan de papa sumamente rico, un must para pedir. La carne suave y muy jugosa. El servicio excelente. Considero que es un lugar muy lindo para pasar tarde/noche con tu pareja o amigos

Very nice little bistro, quite atypical for Polanco. I love the grilled sardines, the tonato, the pasta. The bacalao was sublime! The menu is very short, but doesn't vary, so it can get old after a while. Also, it has become extremely difficult to get a seat or reservation with short notice. Perhaps a tad overpriced, especially the wines.

Been here to this cute neighborhood spot a few times now. When it’s crowded really the ambience is not great due to the fact it’s too loud and too hot in there. But if you on an off hour maybe it’s better. I’ve tried the famous caviar bread - yes it’s really good. I’ve tried the steak / potatoes (not worth because the potatoes aren’t good- recommend the chef try Idaho potatoes instead. And in another occasion I tried this amazing lobster risotto special. If it’s on the menu when you go - it’s a must and you get a whole lobster tail so I think the deal is good.

The star is the beef onglet. Unrecommended bolitas de churro.

Restaurante francés con reserva obligatoria, atención amable y recomendaciones acertadas. Probamos pan de papa con caviar, orzo con cangrejo, bisque de langostinos, totoaba con puré de espárragos y un “casi pie” de nuez; casi todo delicioso. Algunos detalles menores: la sopa estaba bastante salada y hubo confusión con el precio del vino (cobraron más del precio indicado), pero en general la experiencia gastronómica fue excelente.

Tengo sentimientos encontrados con este lugar. Por una parte, la comida me encantó. Probé el pan de papa, coliflor al horno, orzo con cangrejo, pollo crujiente, casi un pie y todo me gustó muchísimo. Excelente sabor y platos de tamaño adecuado como para pedir varias cosas y compartir. Buena variedad de vino para acompañar y un par de opciones más de cocteles y otras bebidas. El servicio y la atención de todo el staff también fueron de primer nivel. Lo malo y que no me gustó: el lugar. Es un espacio muy pequeño, apretado y con muchísimo calor. Si te toca en la barra, la verdad es que los asientos son muy incómodos y resulta imposible aguantar tanto tiempo sentado. Al ser pequeño también estás muy pegado al resto de la gente, por lo que hay cero privacidad. La comida es de lo mejor que he probado recientemente y tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio, por lo que sí recomendaría conocerlo.

Nice little place in Polanco with good food and service. I had the white asparagus (very good), the potato bread (pretty good), the ricotta anolinis (pretty good) and the onglet (pretty good).

Beautifully executed food. Service was initially mediocre, and would expect better from a Michelin star. Our waitress seemed disinterested, left us waiting so she could smoke outside, and was slow to clear plates. The food, however, was worth the hype. In particular, the potato bread. And the biscocho dessert- sublime!

Small gem hidden in Polanco. Dishes are delicious and well presented, the Pork Belly was succulent. Decent wine by the glass. Service was decent. Major drawback: ventilation/temperature, simply absent, you get out smelling as French fries.

A very nice and cozy small bistro on a great location in Polanco. Food was very good, specially the meats (both the steak au poivre and the steak frites) and the “casi pay de nuez” is a must. Service was good in general but tainted by the lack of professionalism and pettiness of Ismael (I assume the maître d') who was bothered by us asking for a table change (as they wanted 5 people to sit in a table for 4), mind you the restaurant was at half capacity and remained this way for the rest of the time we were there. He wouldn’t even make eye contact with us for the rest of the night and was visibly annoyed at us and even rude at our request; kinda makes you not want to come back. In general a great place and good food, bad experience.

I was very excited to try this place as its very small and its not easy to find place for dinner and most of the reviews were good. To be honest food is average to bad except three dishes (potato bread, pasta with crab and raviolis). Steak was very dry and potatoes were reheated, fish was flavorless, sardines, salad and other things we order were tasteless as well. Very expensive for this type of quality, don’t worth the visit

Sin embargo, mi experiencia sugiere que la ejecución no siempre está a la altura de la expectativa generada. Ambiente y Comodidad El lugar, aunque con un diseño que podría ser atractivo, es notablemente pequeño. Durante mi visita, el calor resultó insoportable, a pesar de la presencia de potentes ventiladores. Esto afectó considerablemente la comodidad general y, por ende, la experiencia del comensal. Oferta Culinaria En cuanto a la comida, mi percepción general es de un nivel promedio, ligeramente cumplidor, pero dista de ser sobresaliente. * El pan de papa no ofreció nada destacable, resultando en un acompañamiento sin carácter propio. * La salsa del ragú careció de la profundidad de sabor y la consistencia esperada, lo que le restó mérito al plato. * El filete, si bien estaba cocinado a la perfección, suave y jugoso, se vio lamentablemente opacado por una salsa excesivamente astringente debido a un exceso de pimienta. Esto desequilibró el perfil de sabor del plato principal. Calidad del Servicio El servicio representa una tremenda área de oportunidad. Percibí una falta de sintonía y acompañamiento hacia el comensal, lo que puede hacer que la experiencia se sienta impersonal y desatendida. Un servicio más atento y proactivo podría elevar significativamente la percepción del restaurante. Gestión de Reservas y Ocupación Un aspecto particularmente preocupante fue la gestión de la ocupación. A las 9 p.m., el restaurante estaba ocupado a menos de la mitad de su capacidad. Sorprendentemente, se negó la entrada a comensales que llegaron argumentando que los espacios estaban reservados. Sin embargo, al salir casi a las 10 p.m., noté que dichas reservaciones nunca se materializaron, dejando mesas vacías. Esta inconsistencia en la gestión de reservas puede generar frustración y una imagen negativa. En resumen, si bien el restaurante ha logrado captar la atención gracias a su presencia en redes sociales, la experiencia in situ revela la necesidad de mejorar en áreas clave como el ambiente, la consistencia culinaria y, especialmente, el servicio al cliente y la gestión de la ocupación. Con ajustes en estos aspectos, el lugar tiene el potencial de ofrecer una experiencia más acorde con el entusiasmo que genera en línea.

1. ⏰ Tienes que hacer reservación. 2. 👩🏽‍🔧 No son muy atentos, estuvimos esperando para que nos atendieran y creo que fueron descuidados en eso porque nos sentaron en la barra en un espacio apartado. 3. 🍽️ La comida es buena pero no es extraordinaria. Pedimos el pan de papa con caviar, la ensalada, los espárragos y el pollo. 4. 🍷 Tenían buen vino. 5. 🥮 Pedimos los porfiteroles, están ricos. 6. ❎ No regresaría.

Un lugar extremadamente chico e incómodo. No importa si haces reservación, es probable que te sienten en la barra. El crudo de lubina, completamente equis. El pan de papa, se ve espectacular pero realmente tampoco es nada imprescindible. Hay un plato con cangrejo que realmente es jaiba y ese plato sí es excelente. La carne, rica, un poco condimentada pero bien. El casi pay...equis, el helado de tomillo bastante malo

Just average restaurant. Unfortunately did not live up to our expectations.

Too much hype for too little delivery on food and service. Small space, not an issue, for starts got there for our resi and place was near empty. Asked for table by front and was told it was reserved, we had a reservation and was put in the back, and the place was empty. Got the much heralded potatoe bread with caviar, caviar was good but the bread too thick and doughy for the delicate caviar. Ordered the white fish with asparagus sauce, pretty bland not much flavor. My husband got the pepper steak and he enjoyed it. Entrees are served on small salad plates, why? Overall a lot of hype around a very average experience both food and service and no ambience to speak of. Sadly, a no go.

Food is good but service is terrible. They didn’t want to acomodate us at a standard table when they had space even when I explained my wife is 8monyhs pregnant.

Great ambiance; not so great food

I have booked a table twice here and came to this place and both times they could not find a table for me.

The restaurant is in a nice quiet part of Polanco, but it is tiny and feels cramped. The service was appalling. I was one of only two parties there, and had to flag the waitress down for everything from getting a menu to ordering drinks, then food and refilling my glass of water. She described all the dishes as tiny, and my friend and I were surprised when they came out and were not so tiny. We totally over-ordered. The potato bread was delicious and the only reason I gave two stars for food instead of one. The pasta dish was nothing special - just some pasta with a thick creamy sauce. Meh. The cauliflower was sitting in some red oily base and also came with what looked like yogurt, but it had no flavor. The black cod came with vegetables, and all of it was floating in a flavorless broth. The plus side is that it tasted very healthy. The downside is that it didn’t taste like anything. Something you would eat if you were put on a strict diet of steamed everything, no salt…and no flavor. I was so excited to try this place. What a disappointment. And an expensive one. (And our bill was wrong when it came out).
