The ambiance and hospitality was phenomenal Gael and Mario made us feel at home and the drinks were amazing.

Incredibly beautiful interior. The service was wonderful, ordered a mezcal margarita and he let us smell each option. The fried shrimp was great to snack on. Highly recommend!!

Tomas delivered wonderful service. The atmosphere is so fun and enjoyable. As an eternal Spanish student, Tomas was patient with me even though I messed up some grammar! Such a welcome place with an awesome vibe!

I love the place. I was sitting at the bar and got some drinks. The place looks really cool. The drink was really good too. I would definitely recommend this for getting some nice cocktails.

The drinks were excellent! Our waitress Citlali was very kind and attentive. Surprisingly, the olives were delicious and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like olives. Overall, would highly recommend.

Open, airy, high ceilings, fresh eclectic decor, array of fresh fruits and vegetables at the bar, friendly bar tenders, and oh, AWESOME cocktails. We loved this bar and didn't want to leave. The Ambiance is so unique and the cocktails are perfect. The bar tenders help you pick what you like and make it the way you like. They're friendly and put time and focus into every single drink. I fell in love with the decor .. couldn't stop looking around 👌👌

They had a talented DJ there the night we went playing good tunes. Excellent ambience at Gin Gin. Good service, nice food + tapas. Wonderful, top notch drinks with top shelf liquor🥃. The quality + ingredients used in the food were also at a high standard. It's more of an upscale bar/restaurant that includes its looks/aesthetic in their price so clearly not the best place for "happy hour" drink specials. It can get very busy and quite loud especially in the evenings/weekend. Best for an evening or night out with friends imo. To avoid the large groups of merry drinkers go as soon as they open.

You just want to chill with your friends instead of going to a hectic place around the area? Then this the perfect spot. The ambiance is great, lighting is perfect to relax after a long day, and service is perfect. I highly recommend Rodolfo Falcon as a server!

Came here solo on a Sunday night and the service the bartenders provided me was 10000/10! Hugo really went above and beyond to suggest the best drinks and even allowed me to taste 1-2 samples before selecting which drink I’d like best. Definitely appreciated that. Would definitely come back.

Just landed in Mexico. Friends gathered together here. It was fun for tourists like us to have drinks here. The skulls’ wall was impressive. Our waiter is the best! I saw he used his true passion to serve each table with authentic smile. The only thing I was not satisfied is I wish there was a dance pool. The music here is good for dancing. Established in 2014, Gin Gin has expanded to multiple locations, including Condesa, Cibeles, Polanco, and Álvaro Obregón. Gin Gin stands out as a premier destination in Mexico City for gin enthusiasts and those seeking a lively bar experience. While the majority of feedback is positive, experiences can vary, and it’s advisable to consider recent reviews or visit personally to form your own impression.

Hugo was an incredible mixologist. Super informative when it came to the menu. Overall, the service was top notch. We’ll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed the cocktail recommendations and the staff were super attentive. The food wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it was good and came out very fast. Personally I didn’t love was the noise level, though I know that’s something others might enjoy. The music selection was okay.

The drinks are good but it looks like you need reservations to come in and have a drink. We didn't have a reservation and we had to sit at the bar the place was completely empty so I dont know why we couldn't sit somewhere more comfortable. We were just exhausted from walking all day and wanted to sit somewhere more comfortable than a stool for one drink. The drinks however were very good. I should add that we went there around 4 pm it was empty so I dont know why we would need a reservation for that particular time I am sure they get busy but the waiter at the front seemed a bit rude to us since we didn't have a reservation. VOLUME IS WAYYYY TOO LOUD.

Overall thoughts: Atmosphere is nice. Staff is friendly. Food took long to come. Drinks are extremely weak. Much better bars in the area. The food was below average Their food menu is too long (they should condense it and focus on a few menu items). My experience: We made reservations for 6 people at 8pm on Monday evening (January 30 2023). Once we entered we were greeted and seated immediately. Upon looking at the menu we felt overwhelmed to the extensive menu offerings. The drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. They are presented very well , but lack flavor and are watered down. The food also took a little while . Once the food did arrive, the risotto had no flavor. The filet wasn’t cook properly . Asked for it to be medium, it was over cooked on one end and the other half of the steak was raw. This also happened to my other friend that ordered the same thing . The best things were the tacos (but you can find better ones on the street) . Once the check arrived we got charged for extra order of tacos. I also said I’ll tip 20% and he manually tipped himself 25% . Definitely do NOT recommend.

Drinks are good and food is ok but the service is horribly bad. Waiter got my drink wrong and insisted that is what I ordered. He came back 10 mins later to admit he got my drink wrong. Every was incredibly slow and the waiter was very brash. This place might be worth dropping in for a drink but do not recommend for dinner.

Price was expensive, cocktails wasn’t really good but the place was great tho! The issue here was, the server who asked for more tip even if I tipped 15%. This made me very uncomfortable. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place. Drink: Good Ambiance: Excellent Service: BAD

Horrible service. Terrible organization, the staff is not really trained & lowkey passive aggressive. They won’t honor your rsvp, so don’t waste your time doing one, you’ll have to wait 30-50 minutes to get your food. The goods: The food is ok, nothing spectacular, the drinks are great!! Goos atmosphere and great music.

This place is mid. Why they are getting such a bad review is because you have to set a reservation for a bar... a bar. Secondly they give you a time to be in there. These places in mexico city think they are making it more posh but its super annoying and makes people like myself that is a world traveler not want to return. Better luck at a taco stand
