A veces compartes mesa.
The pigaña is delicious! Highly recommended!!! Don't make my mistake and order it with molletes; it's definitely better with chilaquiles. The service is unbeatable! Fer was the best!!! Generous portions (be aware of that). I think the only thing they could improve is the coffee, hehehe, but I 100% recommend coming.
I love their bone broth; it's concentrated, and they also have another one with dry noodles. I tried the taco carousel, which is a sampler of pork shank, pigeon pea, birria, and cochinita pibil, and they were all delicious. I finished with a pigeon pea baguette, which was amazing, with its crispy bread and tender meat. Everything was accompanied by their variety of salsas: roasted habanero, morita, and another one that's a coffee and chili blend, if I remember correctly. In short, everything was delicious and highly recommended. Next time, I'll try other things!
The bone broth is delicious. I've tried it at both locations and it's always good. I just wish it were bigger. The piranha tacos are delicious, but like me, you have to like the thickest ones because they have plenty of them. The flavor is amazing, the meat is very juicy and perfectly seasoned. The salsas aren't spicy; the ones that are the hottest aren't spicy enough. The coffee is delicious.
This guy has done something excellent and innovative with Pork Shoulder, and reinventing how to sell incredibly Tasty pork made different ways, Do not miss it while in Mexico City. With 2 locations now, Del Valle , and Close ish to Santa Fe , Mexico's city business district do not miss it. You are going to love it
The BEST. Do not miss this place 🤤
Awesome pigana, very nice service, but a little crowded
I ordered a taco platter with one of each type: barbacoa, cochinita pibil, pork shank, and pigaña. I arrived right at 9 am and didn't have to wait in line, but an hour later there were already people waiting. I came because this place kept popping up on social media, and it's tasty, but nothing special. It's okay to come and try the pigaña, but honestly, there are better cochinita pibil, barbacoa, and pork shank tacos at many other places in the city. The service was attentive, but our quesabirrias took a long time.
Today we went to check out and try the breakfasts, and the flavor didn't disappoint. Honestly, what we tasted was very good and high quality. We arrived a little before 9:00 and they were about to open. They very kindly assigned us a table. It was a table for four people; there were two of us and the other two were still to arrive. While we waited for our companions, the other person and I ordered breakfast, and at some point, the hostess came over to our table. I understand that because of the size of the place and the tables, their seating capacity is small, but for her to approach us and say that we couldn't reserve a table when we were already eating seemed inconsiderate. She mentioned that she was running out of available tables and insisted that it wasn't possible to reserve a table, asking if it would be a long time before the other two people arrived and that the tables were for sharing, something that isn't mentioned in their advertising. The thing is, she didn't have anyone waiting and she did have a long, large table available. No sooner had she turned around to attend to a group of four people who were arriving to ask for a table than our companions arrived. I see this isn't the first comment about the hostess's attitude, so proper training is definitely needed to teach her the appropriate judgment to use in any situation and at any time of day without feeling the hostility with which she approaches people. Good customer service is of utmost importance, especially when it's your first time visiting. The rest of the staff were very good, very friendly and attentive. Keep it up and don't let the service decline. Thank you.
The food is very good. We tried the birria and pigaña baguettes, quesabirrias, and the pigaña volcano. We really enjoyed everything. The salsas were good, and the water was a little sweet for my taste, but still tasty. We tried the mango and passion fruit flavor. I think the prices are reasonable, around $350 to $400 per person. The service was good, the place was clean, and I highly recommend it. I would definitely return.
I've been wanting to come to La Puerca Pecanra for a long time and have been wanting to, and it didn't disappoint. Their signature dish, the pig-aña, is delicious, full of flavor, tender, and juicy. The menu is extensive and features various pork preparations: chamorro, carnitas, and pig-aña, in different presentations; tacos, tortas, gringas, etc. They also offer beef birria. I found the cochinita to be very tasty. A special mention for the dry noodles: delicious, don't miss it. Another plus are their salsas, well-seasoned and spicy, delicious, especially the habanero salsas: tatemada and verde. They don't sell beer or alcoholic beverages. A place definitely worth visiting, I will definitely return. The staff were very nice, except for the hostess, who wasn't very charismatic or friendly. I could even say she didn't welcome us with a friendly face, but maybe she was having a bad day. Other than that, everything was fine.
We love going to La Puerca Sinora! Good prices, great flavor, and good service. The chamorro taco is very good. The "pig-aña" with cheese is also very good, and the cochinita is good but very greasy. Overall, the place is very nice. When we go, we've had a man who always asks us what we thought, but he's a very nice guy, chatting and everything. I recommend it.
The services is great and the food portion are good.
The food at this place is quite delicious and (for the area) great value. The problem is that they feel overcrowded at times. It took 50 minutes to bring me a coffee because apparently they "deliver it as it comes out." The staff is as friendly as can be under this kind of stress. I want to return to the restaurant for a second chance because I liked the food. The chicharrón sopes were delicious, the pig-aña chilaquiles were also delicious, and the cheesecake with bacon was also good.
The food isn't bad. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The service is generally good. However, we ordered a package, and they didn't have any juice or coffee. In the end, they only brought us a fruit drink. After some discussion, the waiter agreed to adjust the bill because they were going to charge for the full package. I wish we hadn't had to argue to make this happen, and that they had simply had what they offered us.
I Has been visiting both places and the best choice is at Alvaro Obregon
I couldn't take photos of everything we ordered because we were very hungry, but we ordered a little bit of everything. For starters, we ordered guacamole, which I think was the best part of the meal, although nothing outstanding. We also ordered dry noodles with a very strong chili flavor, but not very balanced. Since it was our first time, we ordered a little bit of everything to try: the Pig-aña Taco, recommended as the specialty; good but nothing spectacular. The Birria Taco, I think it was our favorite taco, but average. The Cochinita Taco, was quite dry with a very flat flavor, and a corn quesadilla with terrible cheese that tasted like cheese in squares. We also ordered a golden Aztec taco or something similar (I don't remember the exact name), which was Pig-aña with cheese. I had it in one bite. An excessively greasy taco with very bad-tasting cheese. I don't recommend it at all. On the other hand, they offer micheladas with zero beer, which, although they mention it when you order it, the craving is completely taken away when you read it, as it doesn't taste the same. And they don't have Wi-Fi, and the signal inside the establishment is terrible. The service was good and the atmosphere was calm, but the food was a real disappointment.
