I was getting fuel across the street from Jorge's El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant when all the air suddenly went out of my rear tire! Two good things turned the day from bad to great...1- the tire could be patched right there and now...2- Jorge's El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant was right across the street! So...I made a hucklybuck across the street and had some Amazing Crunchy Tacos! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

I forgot to do a review my first time going, so I figured that second time’s a charm, yeah? • Food: 5/5 I found the food to be really well seasoned — especially the seafood dishes! I got the filete al ajo, and my partner got the fajitas. All in all, not only did it taste good — it gave us really wonderful vibes. • Service: 4/5 Minus one star because honestly some of the dishes we got took a long time — and the tortilla came a little cold. • Atmosphere: 5/5 LOVED the atmosphere. I really like how cultural they made it honestly ☺️ I’d definitely come again as the servers were nice, and they weren’t overly priced for two people to dine there.

Always a great experience here. We love the service and the food. Wish the salsa was a little thicker but it is very tasty. The meat has great flavor.

Food was average. Sat at the bar, cocktails weren’t bad. The atmosphere is a little on the older side. But they have two big TVs in the bar area which I always appreciate.

Again. Son c’mon. Seriously.. you’ve gotta give this place a break so you can miss is a bit. lol. But sits on. I get it. They are pretty good. Ambiance is amazing. Really gives you the Latin vibe and feels as if you’re a bit transported to Mexico for a traditional Hispanic meal. Staff is phenomenal and very helpful with ordering and informing us on what they’d suggest based on our likes. Food is for sure flavorful. Kinda reminiscent of a abuela in the outside kitchen singing and dancing as she beats the dough and stuff. lol see that picture I painted in your brain there lol 😂 😉. My son true to who he is ordered an huge steak burrito and rice. He’s simple yet picky. Easy date kinda guy. lol. Myself I got the Diablo shrimp with an extra side of the Spanish rice and salsa, my daughter got just a side of Spanish rice. Lol go figure. She’s usually my foodie bae. My wife got a steak and bacon street tacos. I forgot the actual name.. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I Know I know I’m sorry. Lol. I also had a Al Pastor crispy taco. YUMZ!! And a tequila sunrise. Purely for the vibes lol. All and all. Great place. Good food and even better people. I highly recommend you visit once at the very least if ever you’re in the Tracy ca area.

Had dinner with family for the first time at Jorge's. Our server was wonderful!! She was polite, helpful and stayed on top of all of our needs. Also, when she found out that we were celebrating a Birthday in the group, they brought out a cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to him! We had a really great time!! THANKS, Jorge staff!

I came here for my birthday last night and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The mangonada margarita was so good, I had two of them! I loved my fajita combination plate as well. Definitely plan on going back again.

We ordered a take out,I ordered chicken grilled enchilada with burrito. The enchilada didn't have enough red sauce,almost dry. I wasn't impressed, should have put enough red sauce,it was dry.

Beans a little watery, chicken was old and flavorless. Chili Relleno wasn't bad, I would prefer more on the crispy side, before adding the sauce. Basically everything, including the salsa, was over priced and mediocre. Service was good.

This was the spot on Saturday nights you be in tracy in the mid 2000s to 2010s. This place isn't even open past 9pm on a Saturday night. Bring back Jorge cause his daughter isn't doing half of what dad was doing in oakland or here years ago

My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner tonight. The wait to be seated wasn’t bad about 15 min. We ordered our food and were waiting for about 45 without the waitress checking on us. When she came to clean the table near us she passed us up with no update. I had to ask her what was taking so long. She went to check and came back to tell us that my husband’s order was accidentally given to another table and our order would be out shortly. After waiting another 10 min my husband and I decided to leave. We paid for our drinks and we will never be back. Bud disappointment.

We gave this restaurant a second chance after a similar first experience, but unfortunately the atmosphere hasn’t improved. From the moment we walked in, the staff — including management — felt unwelcoming. No smiles, no warm greeting, and an overall sense that customers were more of an inconvenience than guests. The one bright spot of our visit was a server whose name I believe starts with a “V” (possibly Vivian). She was friendly, kind, and the only person who made us feel acknowledged. Her attitude truly stood out in contrast to the rest of the team. The food itself was good, and I appreciated that when I had to step away briefly for an emergency, they reheated my meal and remade my eggs — that effort did not go unnoticed. However, the consistently unfriendly attitude from most of the staff created an uncomfortable dining experience for the second time in a row. Unfortunately, despite the good food, the unwelcoming environment is enough to make us reconsider returning

The free nachos and sauce were really good, and I enjoyed the quesadillas as well. Unfortunately, the chimichanga was disappointing—I ordered it with Al Pastor, but it barely had any meat and was mostly filled with rice and beans.

The staff was nice and accommodating… however, the food was bland and very small portion sizes. Not worth the price. I’m willing to pay a premium but only if i get good food/a good quantity. Will nit be back
