Me and my wife ate here today for the first time and all I could say is they just gained new regular customers! the food was so delicious homemade and fresh! .. it was worth the wait!

A place full of flavor... You have to try the salsa bar omg so delicious, the homemade tortillas, what else can you ask? Oh yes great prices, exelent service! ❤️

El tranvia is amazing!!! Great service the most amazing carne asada burrito and my boyfriend had the El Pastor burrito no rice with the molcajete soft and it was bomb!!! They have homemade corn tortillas and the best nopales and beans ever not the refried beans but the beans from the pot!!!

Delicious Birria, I travel 2 hour to taste their birria and hand made tortillas. I just waiting for another chance to go back for another plate.. And some to take out... Great service !!

It was only my first time and such a wonderful experience. My Camarones a la Diabla was divine. I look forward to many more visits. The dining scene on 6th Street in Coachella is the best in the entire valley.

Best tacos I’ve had in a while ,

I thought this was a take-out window ever since it opened. A friend took me here for lunch and WOW! This little place has SO MUCH CHARM, and the food is amazing! Great service, friendly staff and a very cozy atmosphere. Hands down the BEST estilo casero Mexican food in the desert! It appears that they do take-out orders, there is a stage for live music, and they also run a food truck. Historically I’m told, they operated out of the back of a liquor store for years and only recently opened this new location. I will return again and again.

The food is authentic, and there's a variety of Salsas which is my favorite! This restaurant is literally a 2 in 1 restaurant, want dessert after? They have your favorite "antojitos", ice cream, chips, you name it! If there is an antojito you would like but don't see it on the menu you can request what you like and they will make it for you! Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley! I most certainly recommend this restaurant!

We saw the review and had to check it out. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Loved the tortillas both corn and flour were a 10 - Homemade ! Their rice is perfect. Carne asada a 10. The burritos are Beast Mode Huge :) The only knock is that perfection takes time - so 30 mins for our order.....but quality is worth it. On our return we will order ahead !

Come for the fresh, handmade tortillas, stay for the rest of the menu. Had an absolutely delicious chicken mole and am looking forward to coming back to try more.

Plenty of parking. Plenty of tables and very clean. No wait time on being seated. Their salsa bar is big and plenty of toppings for your liking. Second time I visit this place. It was surprisingly much better than my first visit. The food quality was good. I had the flour tortilla tacos, homemade flour tortillas, that was a plus for me! Great taste, very well seasoned meat. Good selection of salsas. Friendly staff, very attentive.

I recommend getting the Tacos del Pastor with Torina de Harina

Great food every time we visit. But, expect to take your time when it's the busy part of the day. Enjoy a seat, grab a drink and chill. Worth the wait.

Went in for lunch with some friends. A little on the warm side. Only saw one server, however food and drinks came out fairly quickly. I had the shrimp tacos, both grilled and battered. Both good. They had a get-it-yourself salsa station. Decent selection. Overall, good value. I’d go back.

I went here thinking that it was delicious authentic food. I ordered the camarones de la diabla , it took awhile to come out of the kitchen so I thought its probably good. The first bite I took I knew it was BBQ sauce , the sauce was literally BBQ sauce from the camarones. I tried to eat it because I don't like complaining but I couldn't. I complained about the plate and the sauce tasting like BBQ sauce. The server said that is how they make the sauce here and that I would have to be charged because I ate some of the plate. They then charged me half of the plate costs and charged me for the tacos I wanted instead of the camarones de la diabla . I definitely wont be coming back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

As I came to this place there were no clean tables I had to clean my own table. I would figure they would approach me after that however I was still being ignored and other customers that had got there after me were being greeted and served. We continued to wait about 15 minutes and still no one came to offer us at least drinks. REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I believe this restaurant was understaffed it took 25 minutes for me to order my food and it took another 40 minutes for me to get my food of the plus-size their food is very good but they do you do improve their staff to make it a more rapid experience

No advertised Beer, out of salsa, no to-go boxes and no change. Also nobody else in the entire restaurant 🙄

Usually have a really good time i think the place got new waiters the one who helped us messed up our order and got upset about me correcting her when she brought it to the table. I usually tip for the good service but this time it was forced on us as a service charge. Really hope the owner corrects this.

As good the food is. Ripping people off isn't good. From a total of 74 and some change to adding a unknown charge and bringing it to 89. NOT acceptable. Not the first time they upcharged and added bogus charges and fees. Need to be very fluent in spanish cause the lady will talk bad about you if you don't know. Not going back till they appreciate the customer. Sad.
