Tip: Located in a gas station, it's a convenient stop on the way from LA to SF. Shrimp options are generally preferred over fish.

This Baja Fresh is probably the best option for a meal on the way from LA to SF (or back). There was no line at all. Fish and shrimp tacos are good. I prefered Shrimp over fish. Shrimp burrito is good too.
The workers were very nice, answered all my questions and were helpful on choosing the right meal. Ordered the steak Baja bowl with a side of Guacamole. It tasted awesome, full of flavor. The guacamole tasted fresh and creamy. Would love to try more, maybe next trip.

bro at the front is polite and respectful. all customer service should be like him 🙏🏽
I don’t want to talk about the bathrooms or anything but omg. There is a grill inside here with Mexican food. Baja Fresh. BEST.BURRITO.EVER. I pulled in here while traveling thinking I would just grab subway bc I’m hungry but was wishing I had enough time to get “real food.” Saw the Mexican food grill and decided not to judge it by its surroundings (the grill itself is really clean, and the lady was even wearing a hair net). Anyway, I got the ultimo burrito with pork carnitas. They grilled it for me right then and there- carnitas vegetables and rice a popped it in a tortilla and grilled the outside. SO GOOD. Vegetables cooked just right. Carnitas tasted like it was slow roasted and then marinated. Seasoned perfectly. It was huge but so delicious I ate the whole thing and haven’t even thrown away the wrapping yet - needed to write this review first, it was that good.
Amazing food on the way to LA or going back, it really work the stop here, big portions of food very cheap price

It's in a gas station but don't let that dissuade you from going. The food was great and the staff was super nice to our daughter. They even have an area for indoor eating.
Its a Baja fresh in a gas station...felt like a bit of a gamble but it all worked out. Service was top notch.
Food was really good and fresh. I got the roasted veggies and frankly thought they tasted better and fresher than the fajita veggies I usually get at Chipotle. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly. She took my order quickly and made everything quickly as well. Not a ding on Baja Fresh itself, but the bathrooms and atmosphere here aren't amazing. They're decently clean, but it does feel a bit depressing (though of course this is at a rest stop). I thought the price was reasonable (got a burrito, bowl, and chips/guac for $30). The burrito was filled very generously, and there's a salsa bar where you can get as much salsa as you'd like.

Taste good but absolutely not worth the price anymore. I got a Baja steak bowl with a mild salsa with everything on it. It tastes just like I remember since I had it been to Baja fresh in a while. But ultimately, for $18, I got to say that might want to eat out is really started to diminish. I understand inflation but this was absolutely not worth the price. If I wasn't so strapped for a time I would not have ordered this. When it comes to the service and the overall quality of the food it was top notch.
Had crispy wahoo taco and steak burrito both were good. Also had chips and queso. The fish was very small portion for the price. The buritto was very large and tastey. Bit on the pricey side but whats cheap nowadays. Will try it again. Not my top pick but definitley fills the void.
It's an ok option if you don't want a burger. Not the cleanest and customer service is just ok.

It's just a trucker rest stop. They got whatever you need to get you back on the road comfortability needs.! They have a clean bathroom for use 24/7. They have a section to buy tools if your in need and some clothing as well , nice clothing though.

I have never eaten at baja fresh. There's a baja fresh right down the street, from where I live in vancouver, washington. It's been there a long time, and still I've never eaten at a baja fresh. Today, the stars all lined up on the right side of the road. I was hungry and I had to use the bathroom. And at this particular gas station, there is a baja fresh. I ordered the barbecue chicken baja bowl. Mainly, because the pictures of the burritos and tacos that were on display, don't look overly appetizing. It came with diced up barbecued chicken cooked on a flat top grill in front of me. Pinto beans, spanish rice, red and green sautéed bell peppers. Red onion, pickled onion, cheese, limes, and sliced avocado. Before taking my order to go, I visited their salsa bar and loaded up on fresh pico de gallo, and hot salsa. This baja bowl tasted......okay. The bowl itself was kind of bland and flavorless, but all the toppings that I added gave a little bit of kick. Very little. Not enough to justify the price I paid. Nor coming back to eat at a baja fresh. No matter what the location. I think that this is a healthy option. Like under 1100 calorie meal. Except for salt, and the barbecue sauce that was mixed with my chicken. I don't really taste any spices at all. PS. I could have sworn that I saw something on the menu about Tortilla chips, (strips) with this bowl. But there were none with my order. The employees were friendly. And rhe restaurant looked like it was just opening for the day.
So, I have a couple of bones to pick here... 1st of all, the oil in your fryer is SERIOUSLY old. Like, Creepy, Hole-in-the-Wall diner kind of old... the chips were literally inedible. 2nd of all, (to all of the other paying customers out there)... pictured is the size of the Queso dip. Is that, plus a chip bag the size of 2 taco bell chip bags, worth $10?? I'm going to go out on a limb and say most of you would agree that that size of container is probably worth $5 at best. Anyway, I was so disappointed-- and if I thought the employees would have cared at all, I would have said something to them, but they just looked like they were trying to survive... Anyway, best thing I can say is it's been a little while since we ate, good news, no sign of food poisoning. 👍
Not good food also not clean location.

Do not attempt… eat anything else. I love this chain. Worst baha ever. Inedible Rice was way overcooked none of the flavors. In regular store. Salty but no flavor. The meat was definitely grilled Beef tasted not like beef and like boiled or something and yuck Chicken also. See photo. Does not look like usual Only Baja salsa taste same. I think corporate ignores this place. Quality not same
I order chicken bowl they put just rice, beans, chicken, and veggies. They don’t put any sauce any cream nothing in that and my second item is steak Diablo Burrito They do the same thing with this. I ask them to give me a sour cream. They told me we charge extra money for that. I ready to pay. They just give me the cream. The amount of the cream is just the one teaspoon they do not give me any extra sauce with it nothing . His food is so expensive but the quality is so cheap. I do not recommend to buy it is such a waste of money. I already waste $37. If you like Mexican food please don’t go there because is waste of money and time.
It was THE WORST stake fajita ever. The rice was undercooked, the meat🤢🤮 I tried to cover it with sauce to trick myself to eat. The grilled bell peppers and onions along with the pico de gallo was spoiled. I got it to eat on my way to LA otherwise I would have gone back for my money. The only thing that was edible was the sour cream. So I paid abt $16 for 1 table spoon of sour cream.
Customer service was terrible, food had no flavor. I love Baja Fresh but this place is terrible.

I ordered chicken burrito they didn’t add sour cream..when I asked to add they said it’s 1.99 more …just for the burrito without sour cream they charged 18.72 no drinks nothing …I will never come to this restaurant again ..super expensive
This is at the Jayne travel center. The lady at the counter was very nice but the food here was super bland and could not be resurrected by adding salsa. The worst taco I have eaten in a long time! This is a stay away from place
