I needed a big meal for cheap and this was this first place I thought of, loved it! The staff are all very nice and the waitress was very diligent. My only complaint is that although the meats were well cooked, they'd all gone cold. Not so much that it was a problem though, I'll definitely be back!

We went for a friend's birthday. We were in a back room. Customer service was great. I had not been in several years. I was impressed. I wish I had been hungrier. I got one of their steaks. It was very good. The veggies and potato were also good. And, of course, the rolls were awesome.

FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING AS WELL AS SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE!! This location is a prime example of what EVERY GOLDEN CORRAL STANDARD should be!! I’ve eaten at dozens of Golden Corrals across the country and this location is by far the VERY BEST!! I can’t even eat at any others anymore. When I get hungry I immediately think of this Location ❤️❤️

I liked the rolls. I had 38 rolls along with a must get mystery drink, that was particularly salty and scrumptious.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a big group at lunchtime. They were very busy but still found us enough tables in the same area were we could sit together. The food was good and had plenty to choose from. And they even had Santa walking around talking to people and giving out candy.

I dined in Golden Corral along with my friends for an event. The dinner buffet menu is extensive. It took us approximately 2 hours to complete every dish. I am a vegetarian, unlike the basic mac&cheese and boiled veggies options that a typical restaurant around me offers, this was a great change for me to dine in. The dessert menu was colorful. Platters full of desserts like Cookies, Cakes, Chocolates, Pies, Puddings made our table look premium and delicious. Will come back here soon.

Food is good. Some things are hit or miss. Staff are usually very attentive. Give them grace on the days and times when they're slammed. They don't have many places for families of 5 to sit..we had to circle the place several times finding a place before someone cleaned a table for us. It would help if they had a system for seating to limit the issues.

Golden Corral in College Station is open again after the big remodel & upgrade this Summer. Looks nice and the food is tasty too. Staff is friendly & very attentive.

This place was a a must try, for only 11 dollars for a full all you can eat buffet is absolutely and only ten for kids 9-12 and the service is really good but most of all the food was wonderful with so much variety and they also let us take the cotton candy with us and they also had a window view of chefs making meat. This is an absolute massive deal for 11 dollars for an all you can eat buffet. And the best is yet to come, THEY HAVE A ICE CREAM MACHINE!!!! It was such a delightful surprise. Thankful for a man named Jesse and the others that helped me today. I choked and had a piece of steak lodged in my throat my airway was blocked. Fantastic variety and great value! The endless buffet truly offers something for everyone, from carving station favorites like pot roast and steak to homestyle sides and a killer dessert bar (hello, chocolate fountain!). It's a perfect spot for families, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely coming back!

Most of the food i had was amazing. Only a few things of what I tried i didnt like. But I do wanna commend Sondra and Dawn on their service. My party was not in their section but I do wanna say the way they interacted with their sections was amazing. me and my boyfriend love coming to golden corral , were repeat customers at this location. the waitresses and other staff are all so kind and make each experience coming here unique. we sit in the same booth as a tradition, and our server, Sondra is always the sweetest. she remembered us, which put a smile on my face. the only problem i had was that the manager ( a veryy tall man ) was walking around as if he was security. he looked like he was trying to be intimidating, didn’t see a single positive facial expression even creep onto his face. from what i heard him say , he was very rude with the waitress when speaking to them.

The remodel is nice. The food is good too. Some of the food is a missed ... it just kind of tastes like an average thing that doesn't have much spices. Some of the food is quite good! The desserts are pretty good though I wouldn't recommend getting anything from the chocolate fountain. I've seen kids put their faces in that in their hands. The bathrooms are better than they used to be but they still aren't as clean as they should be. Feel like when I go in there something's always dirty. Prices aren't great and feel bit overpriced but not bad.

I love coming here for their steaks. Unfortunately, for the past couple of days, their only meat option was pork. We requested a refund, and they were very gracious and accommodating. I wish there were more meat options on the grill.

The meal was very good. The pineapple was great. The pulled pork with the BBQ sauce on a roll was an excellent sandwich. The staff was very attentive. I appreciate the manager walking around the entire time we were there. Michaela cleared our used plates quickly and refilled our drinks.

Golden Corral is Golden Corral just about anywhere you go. Food was a bit over cooked on some things. Hush puppies were like rocks, but had good taste. Fried chicken was over cooked. Rest of the food was good. The worst part of our experience was we had a larger group, and it was hot in the restaurant, as in sweaty and uncomfortable the entire time we ate. The workers said a couple of the air conditioners have been out for 2 years. Crazy... Really need to fix the air.

Our waiter was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond. Unfortunately I can only give 4 stars because as soon as we walked in, one of the people at the register would rather be texting on her phone than helping customers. She then gave back wrong change and when challenged by the customer had an attitude and went to review the security footage despite the customer showing a receipt. Unfortunately, as this is the first thing seen it kind of set the mood for the visit.

Very clean and the server we had was very prompt at filling drinks. The food just seemed to lack some flavor/seasonings. Everything was hot though! The young guy had the steak station was making some good steaks. 💪🔥

The reason that I gave food three stars was because we went for the Holiday Buffet and the food was not held at temperature. MANY of the items were cool or cold. Not warm at all. I was disappointed with the dessert selection. I came specifically for thier carrot cake and there was none. My crew wants to go for the breakfast buffet. I’ve already left a review from my other account, but me and my boyfriend usually love to come to this location. I was disappointed upon hearing that they will no longer be serving turkey. Their other of a few different items has also gone down in quality in our past few visits. The servers are always so kind and I love the atmosphere. However, when I’m going there to pay for food, I expect the food to be what is advertised, and *the online menu online still states that they serve turkey.* My boyfriend typically orders the fish, and that specifically has not been the best quality as of lately. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. I do hope that the menu returns to normal. We are repeat customers, but we may have to stop returning as frequently if these issues are not addressed. I would like to make it very clear that I do love golden corral, and it is one of my favorite places to dine. I have a lot of great memories there and that makes it all the more upsetting to see that they no longer serve one of the main items that I go there to get. I also find it ridiculous that they raised the prices, but then took items away. One of my favorite items to choose from is the chocolate ice cream with marshmallows. i love to scoop the ice cream and marshmallows on top of the cookies. It’s so good. You should try it.

The food here is normally great. I don't know what happened today. I don't expect to come in at 5pm and get cold food. After the second serving, everything was still cold. My husband pointed it out to the manager... but he didn't want to accept the idea that the food was cold. Customers are sometimes right! I asked the waitress what was the manager's name, she told us, then went over to tell him, then he came to our table and asked my husband if he wanted to know his name...lol.

They DO NOT offer a veterans/disabled veterans discount. They said they host veterans on weekends and feed them, but we were here on a Sunday and this did not click with them that what they said made no sense. First time there, but could tell everything looked freshly remodeled. The Sirloin steak had an excellent flavor. It was crowded, but everyone seemed to move smoothly through the lines and staff kept the buffet well stocked. Did have some concerns though.The chicken wings were cold. Both our knifes were not clean, having food particles still on them. The plates appeared worn out and not as clean as they should be.

I waited 7 minutes to get her attention to switch from tea to coke, she never came over so I had to go to the cashier desk where I encountered a very nice manager who instantly assisted me with getting a coke. Some of the food was under the heating lamps far too long. My first time there. Disappointed 😞 to say the least.

My kids love this place. Personally not a fan of buffet food made in large quantities and left out for long periods. But there are some positives. Positive: - Salad bar selection is good. Kids can eat all the junk and I was happy to have a well loaded salad -Staff was very nice. Everyone was very kind and I was happy to leave a generous tip as they wanted us to have a good experience. - Price is unbeatable. It was me and four 10-12 year old girls. It was probably the cheapest I could have fed them and they all left happy - steak was surprisingly flavorful Negative: - A lot of the food looked like it had that “glaze” from sitting a while. Gas station pizza looks better. - Ice cream machine broken. Kids nearly had a meltdown 🤣 - A lot of the food items were mislabeled so I was questioning what it actually was. If we had allergies this would be a big problem.

Honestly, this was overall a disappointment - which is a shame, because I genuinely like Golden Corral restaurants. It was a Sunday evening, not closing time. Our hostess was super nice (and about to get married!), and our mesera (waitress) was wonderful. But the food was more disappointing than not, and I sampled 3 full plates of hot food. The salad bar was decent. Only 1 soup, clam chowder, which was ok, but just not the style I like best. For the hot dishes, a lot of them were... dry? Mashed potatoes, meatloaf, etc. There was ham on the carving board that honestly looked like it had been accidentally left there from the day before. Desserts were plentiful enough in variety but by then I was/we were just kinda 'done' with it. One other note: our hostess was good, our waitress was good, and the other staffers were as well. But the tall manager spent the whole time patrolling like he was practicing to be a prison guard. No smiles, no greeting or checking with customers. Just walking around, almost scowling. I like giving people and places the benefit of the doubt. I haven't read any other reviews. Maybe they had had a bad day, or a change in/problems with the kitchen or station supervisors. Maybe it was just a Sunday on a cold night thing. But I'm not likely to visit again anytime soon? There are just other known good options in Bryan / College Station

This was a very disappointing experience and frustrating as well. There was no one at the front desk and so you wait. They were busy filling in somewhere for sure. There was food all around the serving area on the floor. No one was cleaning it up until I asked someone to, and then it was only the specific area I had pointed out but not the rest of it. Our server was very attentive but also piled up the bus tray on a nearby table until it was full. Not a pleasant dining experience. I was hoping the usually enjoyable steak might perk things up, but, alas! It was not very tender and had an inordinate amount of gristle. I won't be back.

Being in a small place like Bryan, I can see the reason the variety is so very limited. There is more variety in the salad and dessert, but not much In the way of the main course itself.

Thier management needs an overhaul on their value. From point of sale, the cashier was very uninviting and non-chalant. Did not provide any direction following obtaining payment regarding seating which threw my guest off. The kitchen staff were unattentive to needs for steak or other items requiring thier attention. In fact, they could be see n walking back and forth getting icecream cones from the dessert section. The wait staff was virtually not there. It would have been better to put the drink multiplex in the middle of the restaurant and let people get their own refills. Then customers would actually get their needs met in that regard. And lets talk about food quality controls, or the lack thereof. For $40, I expect high quality foods. They grossly overestimate their value here. Drop the price to $8-$9 and that might come close to the worth of the food here.

I’m really disappointed. The last few times I have come the place is disgusting. Food all over the floor and tables. There use to be a manager here who kept this place running so well and I’m worried he left because this place is not the same clean atmosphere you are use to anymore. Everywhere is surrounded by garbage and filth. I use to recommend this location to everyone and I won’t anymore.

I arrive to resturant 1930, confirm that resturant will be close at 2100. About 2000 hours, employees are starting cleaning the food station and desert station. Specially took the parts off of ice cream machine. Feels employees ate chasing customers out of the resturant before their store operating hours. I recommend to come atleast 3 hours early before store closing to enjoy the comfortable meal.

Food was horribly disappointing, the bathrooms were filthy and in disrepair, and the whole place just felt off. 3 out of 4 people in my party walked out feeling queasy, not from eating too much but from the poor quality food making us all feel ill. Food and service was terrible. Plates for food by buffet had food particles on them. They definitely don't rinse dishes before placing in dish washer and don't check if they are clean before placing out for use. Utensils were dirty and drink cup was served with food particles stuck to the inside. No apology from server/waitress and manager didn't act as if he cared either. How are they passing health inspections??? This place needs to be closed down!

Horrible experience! Honestly do not want to go back! My Mother in Law got the baked fish and it was still partially raw , I took it the manager and he flat out lied to my face and tried to tell me that Basa Catfish turn pink when they are over cooked and that the fish was not raw but over cooked . Basa Catfish flesh is the same as channel catfish. It will be shades of white , pink and yellow when raw and will turn white opaque when cooked fully . I have fished multiple species my entire 36 years of life and cooked them all even alligator gar. It being raw is not what really upset me. It’s the fact he tried to lie and doubled down on the lie when I called him out on it. He better hope she doesn’t get sick as she is immune compromised or I will be filing a report with the health department just like I told him I would if she does. Completely unacceptable! Also check your plates before placing food as they do not before placing for you to grab even though he told me he knows there is a known issue with their dishes not getting clean!

I think this is a case of false advertising because this establishment is CLEARLY a campsite. I was doing my normal thing: paid the entrance fee, pitched a tent, and unpacked all my stuff for my 48 hour retreat inside the Golden Corral but not even 2 hours later the entire staff t-posed around my tent and told me to pack it up! I hadn’t even collected enough wood for my camp fire! Go camp somewhere else they don’t respect our kind.

Most of the time the plates and spoons have pieces of food left behind which groses me out

All their food was cold. Told the waitress and she told the cooks. Stayed there 20 more mins to see if they would put out fresh food and they didn’t. Told the cook he said the same thing just wait. The chicken okra meatloaf green beans fish was all cold. Cold to the touch. Told the manage the tall white male and he said we been there to long. Very rudely and we asked for our money back and he said no then walked off.

Worst place to eat. I can't wait to get home and brush my teeth to get the taste of all the cold and stale food out of my mouth. I couldn't even eat a roll of bread it was so hard. The only good thing I had to eat/drink was the sprite. How this place has a 4.1 rating and not worse is beyond me!

There a older African American man that works there that sexually harassed my girlfriend he he is a taller build with a salt and pepper beard

The worse ! The food had no taste! The employees are not friendly! Even the manager walk right by and not one word was said! . The one in Waco 100 better then this one won't be back! And checking plates on her clothes .. Her hair right there. Gloves need to be worn..

I know I shouldn't expect a lot out of a general buffet style restaurant, but good grief!! This place is very poorly ran!! Arrived at 11 to eat lunch and at 11:20 we are still waiting for them to out food out. The food that was out was mostly either burnt or raw. I will say the banana pudding was excellent, but that's about the only good thing I can say about this location.

We went last night 2 and a half hours before they closed, the food was cold!!! The fish was old and hard. We spoke to the waiter and I personally spoke to the manager. He didn't really seemed to be that concerned. If im gonna spend 63.00 dollars on food id expect to to be hot if it is supposed to be. He could have given us either a gift card to use for another visit or something, but no nothing. Wasn't very impressed with the way it was handled at all.

Food was cold that should have been hot … chicken was raw …bread buns were hard .. no ice cream ice whatever they call it not a good variety this trip but now it will be our last trip… asked for manager and after about 15 min Steve the dining room manager was no help at all … all he could say was that he was just the dining room manager and it wasn’t up to him …. My husband showed him the nasty looking chicken and said he seen nothing wrong with it and he would it….. I messed up I should have took pics of all the food we had n what it looked like …. Even our two teenagers that will usually eat anything and everything had problems with there food…but I guess no body cares there surely not STEVE !!!!! Oh even asked for booth but told us we had to sit at table with chairs because of sign seating???? And not like there wasn’t a both available……. I’d really like to talk to someone that cares but I guess you’re not going to get it at Golden Corral …. They take your money before you get your food that way it doesn’t matter how you are with the food you get…. It cost me and I didn’t even end up eating because of the food…. The other 3 in are group got food on plates but only ate parts mostly all waste ……. Never again!!! Oh ya twice I had food on a clean (supposedly) plate and a bowl too and u wonder why I didn’t end up eating anything….

Honestly wish I could give this hog trough no stars. This was my first time here and all the food was cold, looked like plastic, tasted absolutely horrid and to top it all off, my "'baked fish'" was pink on the inside. Inedible. Everything was inedible. It smelled like feet and the service was just as bad. Stay away. There are way better options in College Station.
