Every single time I come here I have a good experience. The food is good, the chefs are amazing and the waitstaff and bus stuff are all SO kinda and nice. It’s so refreshing to come here and just be treated kind and like they’re so excited to see us every time. The current special of the month is to DIE for; if they have country fried steak you will NOT REGRET getting it. Seriously. I think I’m going to cry when it’s no longer on the menu. Favorite place ever.

My daughter and I wanted to try something different and I’ve been wanting to explore more on my side of town, so we found Union Street Cafe. We were both immediately drawn to pictures of the Strawberry Crunch pancakes and wanted to try it. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and seated quickly. The atmosphere and vibes were amazing, music was a mixture of pop and R&B, and everyone was friendly. The menu had some great options so it was hard to choose but I ordered the Strawberry Crunch Pancakes, Jalapeño White Cheddar grits, bacon, and eggs. Everything was AMAZING!!!! I don’t like spicy food and the grits was not spicy at all! As you see in the picture, I couldn’t even eat all of this and took some home, but I would recommend everyone to at least visit very soon! I’m going back and plan on ordering lunch. I was able to look at someone else’s table and the burger looked delicious and very filling!

So grateful I stopped in after my Pilates class. The restaurant is nice and clean! I appreciated the host allowing me to sit wherever I wanted. I had the pleasure of trying the avocado toast and French toast. The French Toast was absolutely delicious!! From the server to the cook, they were all so pleasant! I will definitely be back!

Excellent scratch-made food in generous portions. Staff was attentive and very friendly. They met our needs before we thought of them. Homemade hot sauce over the biscuits and gravy were 🤌. We will be coming back!

Great Service from Ashton she was amazing and very friendly. Food was good I had the chicken waffle . I’m used to more firm waffles BUT the soft version wasn’t bad. Awesome they gave whipped sweet butter which was a great balance to the seasoned chicken thigh. Chicken was cooked perfect not dry and very juicy. Will definitely be back with my husband to try out the lunch. Thanks Union street cafe

We just discovered this place today! Jade was our server and she was amazing! The food was so good! I had the breakfast sandwich. Everything from the sauces, to the sausage gravy, was top notch! 10 out of 10 for breakfast!

The service was incredibly friendly and fast, and our waitress, Kim, was wonderful—attentive, helpful, and made our visit seamless. The cozy atmosphere in the heart of downtown made for a perfect morning. ​But the food—wow. We indulged in the Chicken and Waffle (which was truly flawless; the chicken crust was crunchy and flavorful, and the waffle was light and airy), and the Biscuits and Gravy was pure Southern comfort—rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Every single item we ordered tasted fresh and scratch-made. ​ ​A Small Suggestion: Given the high quality of your meat and egg preparations, I hope you might consider adding a Steak and Eggs dish to your menu one day. It would be an incredible addition to your already divine brunch offerings! ​We will certainly be back soon!

I stopped by Union St. Café after a Pilates class with a friend and we split the lamb burger and the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were really tasty and hit the spot! Our server, Kim, was amazing. She was super attentive and always one step ahead, bringing extra plates and checking on us before we even had to ask. The service really made the meal feel special, and combined with the delicious food, it was a great experience. I’d definitely come back!

Love coming here for the perfect brunch time! It’s right down the road from us and never fails to satisfy! Their jalapeño cheddar grits, waffles & cream, biscuits & gravy, and burgers are a staple in our household. Their sweet tea is also so good!! We’re so excited to have Union Street Cafe join the Downtown Concord community! It’s quickly become a go-to spot for brunch or lunch. The food is always fresh and made in-house, which you can absolutely taste in every bite. The staff is super friendly and the service is always on point! It’s the kind of place where you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. The vibe is cozy and comfortable, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying a slow morning. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate how accommodating they are with dietary preferences. My personal favorites are the chilaquiles and the black bean burger, while my husband is a fan of the breakfast burrito. You also can’t go wrong with a classic scramble or a fresh chop salad. Now that the weather’s warming up, I’m especially looking forward to enjoying their outdoor seating. It’s the perfect spot to relax with a Bloody Mary and a side of fried pickles. Definitely worth a visit next time you're in the mood for brunch!

Union Street Cafe was not our intended breakfast stop on a recent visit to Charlotte NC but luckily for us our original destination was too busy to seat us and we stumbled upon this gem of a Cafe. The food was fresh and hot out of the kitchen, portions were more than generous and the service was excellent. Our group ordered, eggs and bacon, blueberry pancakes, a breakfast sandwich as well as another dish I cannot recall the name of. The home fries were some of the best, even the toast with their Honey butter was delicious,the eggs were fresh and the blueberry pancakes were loaded with blue berries. Definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the Concord area!

If you were on the fence, don’t be, give them a try, you’ll leave full, impressed, and excited to come back. We know we are. — Drinks: Hot coffee, black // balanced, hot and fresh Iced sweet tea // just the right amount of sweet, tastes fresh and homemade Food: Burger // really healthy portion, tastes were on point, that sauce is fantastic. Chicken and waffle // waffle could be fluffier, but the chicken thigh was so tasty, the batter was delicious and full of herbs and spices Service: Super friendly, attentive, and cozy. Felt so welcomed!

I’m not even sure I have words for this experience — the music, the service, the food… WOW. The only comparison I can think of is Ratatouille when Remy eats cheese and berries and ascends into that flavor dimension of colors and fireworks. That’s basically what happened to me.

Breakfast is back in Downtown Concord! New vibe and new chef! And a bar menu! We enjoyed our classic eggs and bacon while the pancakes are simply amazing! Not too sweet and definitely enough taste to make you remember how much you loved pancakes! Would highly recommend for date night, family or solo adventures.

When they say, made from scratch and made to order, THEY MEAN IT. Prices matched what you got brought to the table. The girlfriend got the pancakes that were the size of the plates and its soo good without the syrup! I had the biscuits and sausage gravy. Two warm biscuits smothered in a creamy, chunky gravy with chicken sausage. I also got a delicious mimosa. Came in a high all glass with a decent balance of OJ, Prosecco and bitters. We'll definitely be back in the future. (We forgot to take pics. The food was too good!)

Breakfast was absolutely delicious — we ordered the chorizo hash and the chicken & waffles, and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent from start to finish, and the chef even stopped to chat with us as we were leaving. He recommended we try the French toast next time, and we definitely will because we’ll absolutely be back! I also accidentally left my purse at the table, and the staff secured it safely in the back until I returned. I’m so grateful for their honesty and care. Great food, great people, great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Their food is wonderful, the breakfast is delicious and the creative variety is amazing. I have had the Jalapeño Grits and the Collard green breakfast and let’s just say it didn’t disappoint. Their hamburgers and fries are some of the best that I have had. The meticulous care taken to build that burger from the lean meat, toasted brioche bun, thick cut tomato etc. And the French Fries are delicious and fresh cut! You all keep doing what you’re doing. My order is always ready when I go to pick it up and is hot and fresh! Thank you, you all are a great asset to downtown Concord.

I had some pretty good food. The eggs, ham potatoes and even toast was amazing. I was expecting more from the pancakes and biscuit. I thoroughly enjoyed the honey butter and bacon onion jam. The service was great and the vibe was nice with the music playing. I'll likely return
