My mom had a procedure done at the hospital and she wanted a cheesesteak when she got out. They were fast and my mom loved the cheesesteak. We had a 45 minute ride home and she savored every bite. She said it was the best one she has had in a long time. We have a Charley's near our home but it's no where near as good. Thank you for making her whole day!

My first time at Charleys, didn't know they even existed. Due to being in the middle of the strip center; but, don't get it twisted, there ain't nothing mid about this place! Son, you better bring your appetite and leave the big bucks at home because even though you're eating fine dining, you aren't being charged for it. This food is absolutely bussin'!!!! Okay, hold on BOOMER, what I was trying to say is that never knew this place existed and am so glad I found it! Now I have a piece of the City of Brotherly love right here in my backyard in Conroe! The quality of the food and portion is a great deal for the price! Seriously, whether you're dining alone at lunch or bringing your family for Sunday dinner this is now the place to eat! Folks, take it from this fat-boy, you won't regret trying CHARLEYS! BTW, I am a real customer......Art.

Great sub sandwiches but very pricey. I suppose you get what you pay for but won't be able to enjoy that often. I can just about have a full course meal for the cost of a sammich. Please don't get me wrong... excellent Philly cheese steak sammiches but will visit far n few times a year!

First time trying Charley's, had the steak cheese steak and the six piece boneless teriyaki wings. Wow! Great food! I usually go to lunch sometimes at the WingStop in the shopping center next door, Charley's will be my new fav.

This charleys restaurant is overall pretty decent and never had any consistent problems going here. And funny enough, i went here when the store was closing, so yeah, that was funny.

The hubs and I have visited this location atleast three times. I've gotten the wings and he has gotten cheesesteak. We've also tried the lemonade which is delicous! Now, first, I want to share that this place is super clean. Every time we've gone in there the tables and everything are clean, there is no trash to be found anywhere, and even the kitchen looks stellar and like someone is constantly cleaning. Im impressed by how clean it is there. The second thing is the service. Since we are new to texas we hadnt been to a charleys before and primarily that is what drew us in. The food looked good and it was a new place for us to try. So when we go in of course we dont know what we want and I always ask questions and ask what the people working their like to eat. Its a red flag to me if they dont eat there. lol. But these employees were super nice, super friendly, and very informed and educated on their menu items. They really helped me decide on what I wanted and that made ordering easy. Now when we got the food, it was hot, because they cook it fresh and they let you customize it to the way you like it which i greatly appreciate! Yay! I did end up getting the traditional bbq wings....ma'am that sauce...ooooweee yum to the yum! that sauce is divine i tell you! and the fries have some sort of seasoning on them. Its just delicious all the way around. Will be back!

Just finished a fantastic Bacon Cheesesteak Sammich… Was phenomenal I believe the wings could have been better and cheese sticks tasted odd. It could be a matter of taste. All items were cooked just right, no under cooking or over cooked fried food. The fries were perfection and was pleased to see malt vinegar as a condiment. Overall was impressed with cleanliness of restaurant but was thrown off by having 8 workers on a Sunday @8pm ??? Great little addition to Conroe and will definitely be back to sample more. Came here on a day date with my wife and tried this place out. Food was great and the staff was nice and polite. The dine in was clean and the ambiance was calming and relaxing. Will eat here again

This is a great example of how a chain installation should be run. The place is clean, inviting, and smells great. The people working there couldn't be nicer. And the food is as fresh and well prepared as you could ever hope for. So why not 5 stars? I just didn't love it. The cheese steak is loaded with pickles, which I did approve when ordering since that's their thing, but I don't think that flavor really works with the meat and cheese. The meat was a tad dry but pretty much what you get with a cheese steak. And the Cajun fries, requested crisp, came crisp, but they're basically just French fries with a heavy dusting of Cajun seasoning. As much as I loved the decor, the vibe, and the service, I'm just not a fan of the basic recipes for these core dishes. One notable exception: the fresh strawberry lemonade was outstanding - one of the best tasting drinks I've had in a long time. I might come back just for that.

Happy to have a Charleys so close to Kroger. This location is really nice on the inside and it’s very clean. They made me a delicious sub and I really enjoyed the lemonade and fries. All the ingredients are high quality.. The bread, cheese, and pickles.. all of it. Definitely use the app to take advantage of deals and other rewards.

The photos of the food doesn't look like like what you get in person. Food was good but much smaller than the photos. I just will not say eat there.

The food was good but roughly thrown together. My meat was not even on the bread when I got it.

My so ordered a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak that was swimming in Buffalo sauce. There was more sauce on the sandwich than chicken. My cheesesteak was really good. Here is the rub. When I brought it to the attention of the cashier, it was obvious she didn't care. No offer to remake the sandwich or any type of apology. She was willing to charge me for a new sandwich. She told me she would talk to the manager and when I went up there to see if she had mentioned it, she said he was not there. Do not know if that was true or not. The restaurant was clean and the food came put quick, but the customer service needs a bit of work. Lesson learned: get your sauces on the side.

New location I see somewhat but the cooks lacks seriously. NOTE: The cooks are hairy no gloves nor did he mind to change them in-between order but touching everything in sight... I've been back since this unfortunate sighting. Much better experience Cooks vary not too sketchy Cashier super nice though and guideful still.

They had two stations with two different types of music playing. Both playing too loud. It was hard to gave a good conversation. Food wasn't anything I would write home about.

Ordered 2 Philly cheesesteaks- no bell peppers and they put bell peppers in there. Had to pick everything out because I was home. The store wasn’t even busy, so there shouldn’t be any mistakes.

this is a saturday night, we arrive about 5:30 Pm. First item, when I go to pay the first thing the keypad wants is "how much tip" do I want to give and suggest 18%. First off, they take my order, bring us our food. Okay, I approved a 10% tip on a $34.00 order, not too bad for simply during your job and bringing food to the table. We pay, nothing said, handed our cuts, we go to the ice manchine and beverage dispensor - guess what, we try to get ice and the gilr cleaning the icebream machine says it does not have any, we need to go back to the sales clerk and ask for it. Do yo think she may have mentioned this when handing us our cups, guess not!! Give out cups back and only a quater cup of ice provided. We also noted that there at the counter was a stand up add for Ice cream - only a dollar. But then you see at 5:30 on a saturday they have the machine already taken apart and out of service. MAY I ASK FOR MY PRE-SERVICE GIVEN TIP BACK CONSIDERING THE LACK OF TIPPABLE SERVICE. Will not tip this place again if I even come back.

Today 7/9/24 (the day after the hurricane). My wife places an order online. I show up to pick it up when it was supposed to be ready. 12:29 pm. Evelyn (cashier) tells me it’s not ready yet; probably another 20-30 minutes. I think to myself not a lot of places open due to the hurricane and they are busy, so I tell her ok thanks and I stand by the coke machine facing the back counter. Around the time it’s supposed to be ready (according to Evelyn), I see a to go container with my wife’s name one it sitting on the back counter where (Perla or Pearl) is filling the orders. So it sits back there for about 15 minutes and then it gets moved by the lemonade machine and sits there for another 5 or so minutes. Needless to say, I didn’t leave there until 1:19 (50 minutes after arrival). Start checking the order on my way home and I’m missing one of the cheesesteaks. Turned back around and tried calling, well no one answers. I get there with my bag and wait in line for a few minutes before I’m guessing the manager acknowledges me. I tell him what happened and he offered to remake the food. He says about 15 minutes and apologized up and down. I told him ok and he had it out to me in less than 10 minutes. Little miss attitude (Evelyn) has my bag, nods her head towards me and places my bag on the front counter. No thank you, no apologies from her, nothing! So, thank you to the manager for taking care of it for me in less time than expected. The food itself was good except for cold fries. Evelyn, you need to learn the concept of under promise and over deliver and with a smile. Busy or not does not matter. Many of us have been in the food industry, hospitality and / or retail.

The Cajun fries are really good. The Cheese Steaks are very bland. The need to offer white American cheese and cook the cheese on the streak while on the grill more. The cheese should melt down into the meat while on the sandwich. Provolone doesn't have enough sharpness to it if the meat isn't well seasoned. I miss Philly connection.

I visited this location and placed an order that ultimately did not meet expectations. I ordered a regular lemonade and was initially given a strawberry lemonade. The cashier did offer to remake the drink; however, I declined in an effort to avoid waste. I also ordered a chicken cheesesteak with no onions and no bell peppers. I left briefly and returned to pick up my food. I did not check the order before leaving, which I acknowledge was my oversight. Unfortunately, once I got home, I discovered the sandwich contained both onions and bell peppers despite the clear instructions provided at the time of ordering. While I recognize my own responsibility in not verifying the order on pickup, the experience still reflects a lapse in order accuracy. Overall, this visit fell short of expectations and resulted in an unsatisfactory outcome.

Welp gave it a try i won't return,I ordered chicken teriyaki sandwich and fries on my lunch break, all i ate was Charlie's. Tore my stomach up,I mean omg. Gave 2 star because I order online and food was ready at time stated.

I don't know what part of Philly makes a cheese steak like this but it is not the Philly in PA.

I ordered a lot of wings just the other night and they probably would have been great but they were not cooked enough and hard to get the meat off the bone. Definitely should par fry them longer or something. Also the cardboard boxes for togo get soggy and just not the best with hot food. I probably won’t hear anything back from the owner but just wanted yall to know so maybe it can be perfected

Charleys is a cheesesteak and wings restaurant, generally you find them in malls or other places like Walmart, this one just opened on the 336 south loop and we decided to swing by to see if the local version matched what we find in the malls, however we were disappointed. The winds cost about $1.50 per wing when you break down the price, in addition they were undercooked, still basically pink on the inside, they didn't leave them in the fryer long enough to be edible. The cheese steaks themself looked great, but the taste, they were very bland without flavor, zero seasoning, unfortunately they were utterly lacking in flavor as far as cheese steaks go. The French fries were good, thick and long, properly salted, but that was the only actual food worth eating. The restaurant itself is clean with a decent amount of seating based on the size of the restaurant. Since it's opening day, they have a lot of staff and a few managers on site, ultimately they will change that down to maybe 3 or 4 on site at any time based on the amount of traffic that typically visits this strip center. Maybe if they cook the wings better, then I can at least recommend that, but I can't recommend their cheese steak at all, simply not worth it.

This has changed. The food was mostly lettuce and had absolutely no flavor at all. The service was not that great as it seemed we were taking the lady’s time. This place used to stay packed, we were the only ones there at a peak hour. Disappointed….

I was craving some comfort food after visiting the hospital nearby for over a week. Someone gave a good mention of this place on a Facebook foodie group and a Philly Cheesesteak & some fries sounded so good. The location is new and easy to find. I visited on a Thursday at 3:30pm. It was empty; except for the crowd of workers in the prep area. I am guessing they were in training. The place is very clean and has ample seating for a small crowd. The front counter had too much stuff on it. I wasn't sure where to stand to order and to look at all that stuff made it confusing... If the place were busy, I could see this causing a back up because it's was hard to tell what was there for the customer and what was for the counter workers. The counter girl was Estrada and she was friendly. The order came out very fast... Almost too fast. My To-Go order was the Large Philly Cheesesteak all the way. (Grilled onions, mushrooms & green peppers topped with provolone cheese), I asked for the lettuce, tomato & pickle on the side and an order of fries with a side of ranch dressing. The steak was as a previous reviewer stated. Bland, a little dry and needed some seasoning. There were FOUR slivers of green peppers (mostly in one area) and about 3-4 slivers of crunchy onion - never saw a mushroom. I had to look at my own pictures to see if there were (I saw 2 or 3?), as I couldn't taste any nor find any when I picked the sandwich apart. There was cheese on only 2/3 of the sandwich. The pickles were put on the bread, not side as requested, which made the bread soggy. The French fries were tasty and seasoned well. They forgot the ranch dressing. I understand being new takes a little time to get acclimated; however - I was the only one in there when I ordered and my order did not even closely resemble the picture with the ingredients. A Philly is not a Philly without the grilled veggies and cheese! If this is what we can expect for $16.22, then I don't think it will last very long. I was really disappointed.

7:40pm 12/28/23 who ever was working the store phone, I tried calling to place a to go order. The female would pick up, not say anything then hangup. So I thought it was an accident, I called back over 5 times of her doing that. Her picking up then just hanging up.. With this type of attitude, it won’t bring new people in. If I could give less than one star I would. I ordered a chicken Philly togo and asked for no mushrooms because I’m allergic. I get home and there’s mushrooms all melted in the cheese of the sandwich. I call asking for a refund since I’m out of time and I can’t bring it back. The manager wouldn’t even talk to me on the phone and there were not attempts at resolving this. I threw it away. Customer service was horrible and I’m glad I still checked before I ate it.

I ordered the buffalo chicken cheesesteak and it was disgusting. You’re basically eating a mayo, lettuce, and cheese sandwich doused in Frank’s red hot. The biggest issue was the quality of the chicken. It was so hard it felt like plastic. Not sure what’s going on in the kitchen but I bet that chicken was sitting there for a while.

The food and service is terrible. We ordered 2 6pc wing COMBOs. Key word: COMBO, which comes with a drink. When I got my recipe I saw that instead of charging us for the combo they charged us separately for every item in the combo which ended up costing us more. When asking them about it they waits its their system and they can’t change. So just fyi, the combo prices are not accurate and they are falsely advertising their combo meals. Depending on which combo it’ll cost you about 20-60 cents extra per combo meal. Nice way to hustle people. I challenge you to add up every individual charge next time you order a combo and see it the price matches what’s being advertised on their menu displayed in store. Will never step foot near a Charley’s again. Oh, and the food is trash. If you want a subway sandwich go to subway.

Pedí el filete de queso y pollo búfalo y estaba asqueroso. Básicamente, estás comiendo un sándwich de mayonesa, lechuga y queso bañado en salsa picante Frank's. El mayor problema fue la calidad del pollo. Estaba tan duro que parecía plástico. No sé qué pasa en la cocina, pero apuesto a que el pollo estuvo ahí un buen rato.

Si pudiera dar menos de una estrella, lo haría. Pedí un pollo Philly para llevar y pedí sin champiñones porque soy alérgico. Llegué a casa y encontré champiñones derretidos en el queso del sándwich. Llamé para pedir un reembolso, ya que se me acabó el tiempo y no podía devolverlo. El gerente ni siquiera quiso hablar conmigo por teléfono y no intentaron resolverlo. Lo tiré a la basura. La comida y el servicio son pésimos. Pedimos dos combos de 6 alitas. Palabra clave: combo, que incluye una bebida. Cuando recibí mi receta, vi que, en lugar de cobrarnos por el combo, nos cobraron por separado cada artículo, lo que terminó costándonos más. Al preguntarles, dicen que es su sistema y no pueden cambiarlo. Para que lo sepan, los precios de los combos no son precisos y están publicitando falsamente sus menús. Dependiendo del combo, te costará entre 20 y 60 centavos adicionales por cada uno. ¡Qué buena manera de estafar a la gente! Te reto a que la próxima vez que pidas un combo, sumes cada cargo individual y veas que el precio coincide con el anunciado en el menú del local. Nunca volveré a pisar un Charley's.
