Real and authentic Mexican food without going to Mexico. The queso is on point, perfectly blended white Mexican cheese, peppers, green sauce, and a little kick em juice. Chips are fresh, hot, salty, and pack a delicious crunch of greatness. Service was fast and professional with a smile. This location has a drive thru for ordering when you arrive or picking up an online order. This location was clean, upbeat, and outstanding. You need to try this place out soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 👍👍.

Nice little place on the island. Great food great service. Mexican food is going to be good when the salsa is good. That is the way I grade Mexican restaurants. It has not failed me yet. The drinks look great here except I stayed non alcoholic this time around. Good prices as well.

We stopped in for breakfast and loved the food and friendly service. My wife enjoyed an omelet with hash browns and some of the tastiest refried beans we've ever had! I thoroughly enjoyed and demolished two chorizo and egg tacos and the plethora of sauces...3 squeeze bottles of spiciness and one cup of a hot concoction....yes I tried all of them and I was looking for more tacos to put them on. The flour tortillas were really good. The coffee was so good we got seconds. We'll be back for more.

Didn't like the atmosphere because they have Christmas decorations put up! But thanksgiving has not even been celebrated yet. People need to acknowledge the knowledge of Repentance ✝️ today 🙏 and get there facts straight about the holiday's.

Great for traditional breakfast. Great service but limited parking and seating. The wait time is long. Be prepared to spend at least an hour and a half.

Went here two times this weekend while visiting Corpus for my wedding/family reunion. Both times I went everything was delicious. My family comes here for breakfast every year before we head home. This year it was on Mother's Day, we had a table(s) of at least 30 people and we were still seated quickly and all our food came out fast and correct. Drinks were filled without asking and everything we needed was promptly brought to us without fail. Can't wait to visit you guys next year!

We dined in, evening, mid-week, off season. Service was fine, but the food was mixed. Taco plate had two tacos that were the smallest we’d ever seen (and we’ve seen a lot!). Steak & shrimp fajitas were generously sized. Shrimp was delicious, steak was good (thin but plenty of it), but the veggies were mush— overcooked & not fresh. The menu was huge— must have been 100 options on it, seriously. So you can get whatever combination of items you want. But it may be better to have larger tacos and a smaller menu that’s done well.

I work near by this establishment, so I often go and get take out from here. Today is the last time I’ll be a customer. Whenever I order my food, and get it back to my work place I always find that my order is completely wrong. It doesn’t matter how specific I am while ordering. It’s almost like the kitchen staff reads the ticket and decides not to make the food you ordered. And they just throw everything in the bag and tie it up so you have to get to where you’re going to find that your order is wrong every time. Today’s order was no different, but they packed it in a way that the salsa and charo bean spilled out and made a huge mess. Not going back there

I can't eat bread or potatoes, etc. I ordered 4 eggs with bacon and beans. They gave me 4 eggs with a bunch of potatoes. The way the potatoes were thrown in there.It looks like it was just done on purpose. Won't be back.

Food was okay. They messed up one of my party’s meals twice. They split the bill for our party of Six into two bills and then reviewed my charges with me once rhe new receipt printed. I paid my total and tipped. It was around $85. They tried to overcharge the person in iur party too. I reviewed my credit card bill today and they ran my card for about $40 more than the amount I signed in my receipt. I have disputed the charge.

Went to the coast for the weekend with my family and I just have to say our waitress first of all took forever to come take our drink order and the worse part was her bad attitude. She needs to learn how to smile and be polite to customers. The food was ok too not a big fan it was extremely greasy

I’m disappointed in posting this review, I usually don’t post negative reviews, but as an Island resident and as a paying customer I will have to sadly say no more will I eat at this restaurant. On multiple occasions, not just this one the food has been horrendous. I’ve had an Horchata that tasted spoiled and sour, I’ve had parts of my order missing after picking up food for the family on more than one occasion, and surprisingly, more often than not when I pick up breakfast, I’ve had onions or some type of other ingredients in my taco when I did not order that specific ingredient. At one point, the cook actually came out to the drive-through window to question me about it as if it was my fault, mind you after finally bring it to their attention after multiple times of this happening. Today marks the last straw. I haven’t ate there in a couple of months, I decide to give them another shot, sadly there were two pieces of hair in one of our breakfast tacos. I cannot begin to tell you the disgusted feeling in my stomach. I used my fork to point out that a small hair is actually embedded in the potato. The other one is a long strand that was mixed into the egg and potato. I understand tourists and people who are not from the area may enjoy this restaurant, but compared to other Tex-mex restaurants in the area and across the bridge in corpus. This restaurant definitely falls short. I hope they can get it together or speak to their cooks about better food handling practices. Maybe they need to sit through the food handlers course again for refresher. Sadly will not be eating here again.
