Sweet tea is always on point, food is good, sometimes it takes long but that only means my food will come out fresh.

The D Q in Sabinal, Tx is the BEST. They have Mexican food an Friendly people, not like the one in Devine, Tx. Unless they have changed, not been there in a long time.

Wonderful staff, great service, and really delicious food. No one can ask for more.

Cottula Dairy Queen is one of the easiest eateries to access right off of IH35 South at or about exit #69 and it'll be on the left hand side of the highway about 1/2 a block up in your left. The eatery was very clean and very quick and friendly service with a mentionable and very notable menu that's very well prepared and delivered to your table on occasion. You'll enjoy the finest South Texas Hamburger you've had in quiet sometime and the onion rings are delicious and the fries are fresh. They also feature the latest automated drink dispensers and utensils. Stop by the Restrurant and say hi and have one of their scrumptious ice cream banana splits or even a regular every day float prepared exactly as you ordered it. Great place, great food and Exceptional South Texas Hospitality.

Friendly service. Within one block of IH35. The food was steaming hot, so we know it was fresh. Dine-in with the recommended distancing was available.. No complaints at all.

They can't even make a decent banana split you You should've seen what I got for $5.42 SMFH I know next time to find a dairy land somewhere Or a mom and pop set up they didn't even have the Syrup walnuts For a nice split. *(corporate Businesses sucks)*

Stopped by here the day after Thanksgiving and the service was phenomenal and the food was just as good if not better. Fresh produce, hot food and plenty of ice with my tea the way I like it. All the staff had a smile and very welcoming demeanor. This place is a must stop every time we visit on our way to the family ranch. Thank you for being a staple to the community for such a long time. If I’m not mistaken, there was a plaque there showing the first pic of existence to present day. Over 50 years is a testament to your business model. Happy Holidays.

Unfortunately I did not catch the name of the guy at the counter, but he definitely made it a gold star service! Very polite and professional. The food was great and found a picture of a friend of mine hanging in the dining area. Place was clean and we had an enjoyable lunch. We had the chicken and beef finger tenders and a hamburger.

Drive thru service was accurate and quick. Both combos were made to order and given the right way. This is for all DQs, give us more napkins knowing that the order of a Blizzard could be messy. Only gave us one per person

Honestly one of the faster staff in town, and very friendly. Their hours are great and they're accommodating to large orders. Food is always hot and fresh.

Order accuracy needs improvement. Also, this is like the 4th year that they still aren't online. We can't use deals or order promotional specials. We can't earn points.

Clean and quick. The frosty machine was broken at the time of visit. They said they probably wouldn't fix it anytime soon.

Staff is always helpful even when they are short. Orders are always correct. Just do not like the new soda machine. Most of the time half of the options are not available and alot of times you have to ask for ice.

Recently the staff has been hit or miss on quality. Also I have never been to a Dairy Queen that was spotless or fast and this place keeps up with the status quo. I wouldn't eat here if it were anything other than a Dairy Queen, somehow I have lowered my standards because I can't get a blizzard anywhere else. Thank you Dairy Queen for making me loathe myself.

Went in for lunch today while visiting our hometown. Two employees in the kitchen were not wearing their mask. But post it that quest are required to wear them. Staff is not very friendly.

Order shrimp basket with taters instead of fries in drive thru. Employee stated he couldn't switch the fries to taters on the menu screen, but he could switch to onion rings. Thought it was weird, but told him I'd take the onion rings anyway. A car was waiting in front of me when I got to window. By the time I got my order, the car in front did too and drove off. Something told me to check my order, I just thought it was weird that we both got our orders so quickly. My bag had a steak basket. The employee took it back and gave me my order with and ice cream for the trouble, which I thought was nice. I opened the bag, and the shrimp was piping hot. However, the fries I didn't order were cold. I was too tired to even drive back around. Anyway, I won't be back.

The person at register was rude and very cold during time we were waiting for our food the same lady started mopping the floor I had to get up to get some condiments and she seemed very bothered by that. It made us very comfortable eating there.

The girl who prepared our blizzards did not mix them well I had to mix the mint syrup to cover all the ice cream. I paid with my debit card blizzard x 4 = $15.11 PROBLEM-- My card was charged TWICE!!!!!! Obviously they are not paying attention.

Don't know if the person taking my order was preocupied with something. Request mayo NO MUSTARD and just sandwich and drink. I get combo with mustard and mayo. Spoke to manager she explained that it was added as it showed on ticket. Clearly not what i ordered. Manager thank you for clarifying things for me. I just ask that your employees pay attention when a customer orders the food and get it right. Thank you. Disappointed.

I ordered tacos and they were terrible. Customer Service was terrible also. The tacos had no flavor barely any veggies and the shells tasted old.

This is the second time I have been to this Dairy Queen and it was the same thing. Nasty! Nasty! Nasty! Came to this location on May19,2020. (Drive Thru) ALL employees that could be seen through the window were NOT wearing masks nor gloves. The cashier that took our money was the same person who was putting in the spoons on our blizzards! Immediately after driving off I had to throw away our ice cream. Id rather be safe than sorry. Food taste horrible and was cold. Employees are lazy and rude. Went there for a second time thinking maybe they were rude and lazy because it as later in the day. That wasn't the case. Same service as the first visit. Plus the place was dirty. They had garbage all over the floor.

The gay dude with the colorful sleeves had us waiting 20 minutes for a burger then he gave it to someone else who opened it gave it back to him then he wanted to give it to me and when I told him I didn't want a burger that somebody touched he got really mad so we just left

Never had an issue with DQ but today we ordered to go and when we got home our burgers weren’t even cooked all way the patty was so raw it was falling apart and there was so much grease it looked like they poured it on our buns it was disgusting!!! Never again

The employees were very rude including the manager. They got my order wrong it was supposed to give me a grilled chkn with no veggies add cheese and they gave me a grilled chkn with lettuce but there was no cheese either. I know for sure to not come over here again they’re very rude

poor customer service. called twice, around 9:23pm she told us that there was a 30 min wait dude to 4 orders in front of us. we asked if we go inside instead and she was so rude and told us that they had 4 orders in front of us and that they close at 10pm knowing it was 9:23pm. RUDE AS HELL

Horrible service!! Staff is rude I've visited this place in different occasions because its the only place in town with variety of ice cream treats. But unfortunately the staff are super rude and make visit a horrible experience. Its really unfortunate😔 Management should really consider hiring new staff or it might cause them to lose sales.

The coke machine had no added flavors and no employee wanted to change the syrup. They also had no ice cream. They use to have quality burgers now it seems to be frozen patties.

I travel often, and this is one of the worst-run DQs I've encountered. There is no system in place, the wait times are ridiculous, and the staff seems completely indifferent. Getting charged for a Large and receiving a small was the final straw. Not worth the stop in Cotulla.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience during the morning shift at this Dairy Queen location. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that there was a serious lack of organization and effort. Several employees were sitting down or on their phones, and no one seemed to be actively cleaning or stocking supplies. The fountain drink area was a complete disaster, with what looked like spilled soda all over the floor. There were no napkins, no condiments, and nothing restocked. As someone who has been a manager for over 30 years, I strongly believe in the saying, “If you’ve got time to lean, you’ve got time to clean,” and this team clearly was not following that principle. When I approached the counter, the lady who helped me was very rude, almost as if I was interrupting her time on her phone. I ordered a simple taco salad, nothing complicated, yet the shell was stale and unenjoyable, and by the time I got back to my hotel, the taco meat was cold. I specifically asked for no tomatoes, but there were tomatoes in it anyway, and although I requested extra cheese, there was barely any included. The fries tasted like the oil needed to be changed, leaving a bad aftertaste. My husband’s meal lacked flavor so badly that he couldn’t even finish it. We ended up throwing most of the food away, which was especially frustrating considering how high the prices are. However, later that evening around 8 p.m., we returned for a Blizzard and had a completely different experience. A very kind lady wearing a cap assisted me at the counter, while other employees were actively wiping down surfaces, stocking cups and napkins, and keeping busy. The restaurant smelled clean, was well organized, and everything was properly stocked. No one was standing around on their phones; they were all moving and working as a team. The Blizzard was made exactly the way I requested, and it was perfect. The evening staff was polite, helpful, and professional. The difference between the morning and night shifts was truly noticeable. The morning crew could learn a great deal from the night shift, who demonstrated excellent teamwork, cleanliness, and customer service

Was the worst dairy queen I've been in. Took over 20 minutes to get our food. My husband ordered the mint chip shake and they gave him a chocolate shake and when he told them it was supposed to be mint chip she just poured the mint syrup on it and wanted him to mix it. The lady taking our order couldn't even do that right. No gloves on the 2 people making ice cream or doing orders. And the one taking orders had to keep checking her phone instead of getting people their food. I travel with my job and we love to stop at dairy queen. This is the worst one I've ever been to.

Been here twice now. They are pretty skimpy with toppings. I had a PB Parfait and had to look for the peanuts & not so hot fudge. Hubby's banana split was "blessed" with toppings. I ordered a Blizzard with Heath Bar in chocolate ice cream - instead of telling me they don't have chocolate ice cream they add chocolate syrup to it and the "Heath Bar" - seriously doubt that is what it is - was literally crumbs - not one piece bigger than a MINI chocolate chip. We'll stick with Ben & Jerry's

To be honest. Idk why I keep coming to this location. Don't get me wrong DQ. I've been eating your food all of my life but this is getting out of hand. I literally told them that I got shredded hamburger salad the last time I ordered a grilled chicken salad, instead of romaine. Don’t get me wrong this isn't the first time. I'm just sick and tired of these lies. If you don't have a proper salad. Why do you sell it to begin with? Some people actually like to eat a late night salad but I guess it's too hard for your management to understand that. As a business owner I know it's hard to have inventory at hand at times but damn do a better job to keep those that actually care about the food. How I said I told them that all I got the last time was hamburger lettuce and I got the same thing again. I know this will not mean anything to yall but to be honest all of your workers are just there to collect a paycheck so maybe you should invest in them and teach them to do a better job at serving the customers.

The new remodel job has taken out a bunch of tables and added an ice cream kitchen. Waste of space if you ask me. Doesn't have a welcoming feeling anymore. Two girls working the front. One at the window and one in the ice cream kitchen. Neither acknowledged the fact that i was standing at the counter waiting. The girl that waited on me, after I had to ask if anyone was working the counter, didn't know what a frosted coke was and didn't know how to make a cherry coke. Obviously completely untrained. This place has gone to Hell since the Taylor's retired. No one cares probably but I won't be going back.

The guy who is serving the ice cream is always with a bad attitude, this time he didn’t put pecans on my sundae and I just told him while I was there waiting he ignored me and went on making other ice cream for the drive thru then came back and started making another one then I told him again, can I just get the pecans on this sundae because it’s melting then he rolled his eyes at me and came all mad to add the pecans. He is always with that mad face I think he should get fired for bad customer service

Don't order the taco salad. Very small compared to other Dairy Queens. Had no beans in the bottom like there is supposed to be. The taco shell tasted nasty. Not worth the money. The fries that I order tasted old and not fresh to order. Who ever owns this Dairy Queen needs to sell it or do some changes in this store because it really was very disappointing for a Dairy Queen franchise.

OMG!! I order my food, the lady hands my drinks to me thru the window, spilling over the top, i ask her for napkins to clean my truck and cups. She tells me to pull around to wait for my order! I’m like, can I wipe these cups real quick. So I proceed to pulling around and there’s already a car waiting for his food so I pull beside him to wait too, a different lady(manager) comes out rudely telling us to park right! And barges back inside! The way the stores parking is on the pulling around the drive thru side is impossible to easily park when coming around. Those ladies were complete bit@&$. I’ll never go back!!

I can't believe I just left there after waiting almost 10 minutes for my food and was served cold leftover food that was mostly inedible. I guess they wanted to give me the appearance that they were making me fresh food so they made me wait. The only thing warm in my whole country basket was the gravy. And it was only warm not hot. The only fries in that basket that were somewhat warm must have been close to the light because there was zero crunch on the rest of the cold fries. I have been stopping by there once every 2 to 3 months sometimes more for many years now. Time to give something else a try.

Quality of the hot food is a hit and miss but the ice cream is always on point . The customer service tho is greatly lacking , I have been to this location more than once and Have experienced poor and rude customer service both at the intercom and window everytime . The tone and demeanor of workers seems as if they hate there jobs and that it is just an inconvenience for them to take my order and allow me to pay. The speed of service is also lacking even when it appears there are only a few vehicles in the parking lot and no line in drive thru with that being said be prepared for Ridiculously long wait for something a simple as a dip cone or large drink.
