Salsa was mild, queso not so great. My chicken enchiladas were good, the birra tacos were great! The Little salsa cups are to small, hard to dip.
I love this restaurant! We've going there for 6 years, and the food and service is always exceptional ❤️!
We went on Wednesday 1/14/26. There was 4 of us, we each had the fajitas for 2, we were a little nervous when we went in because we were the only ones there. As we were leaving it was filling up! Let me tell ya, that was the best fajitas that we’ve had in a long time, tender beef, good size shrimp and vegetables cooked perfect, even with a little squash. Service was great also. I’ve been in restaurant all my life, know what to look for! This place I would give a 10.
Fajitas were great, service good. Queso not so much.
The price and food were good and we had good service!
I found this place last minute. It was close to my grandson’s school. I went in to place my order and the service was great. I took my food to go. When I got home I realized one of my dinners was incorrect. They corrected the issue without question in ten minutes. The food was great! My grandson loved it. We will be back to try other menu items! Great job!
Hidden gem! My family comes here often. Food is always delicious and hot. The staff remembers our orders. The kindest staff is truly a treat with each visit.
So far, this is my favorite restaurant in the DFW area. Worth the drive from wherever! The food Is excellent, service is good, prices quite reasonable. Sizeable menu and lots of lunch options. Chips and salsa. Kind of a mix of Real Mexican and Tex/Mex. Traditional dishes, like Cabritos (goat) - which is ample, tender and delicious! Enchiladas are big and saucy/cheesy. Liquor license, pending, but you can BYO for now. Our go-to!
This place is an absolute gem!! This was our second visit, we're new to the area. The food is delicious, the service is top notch. It's small and cozy with great music in the background. First time around I had fajitas with the lunch special. No picture, unfortunately but they were delicious. This time around I had Chicken Jalapeno, chicken breast stuffed with jalapeno and cheese and smothered with cheese and bacon. This is my new favorite. My husband had Flat enchiladas, served with a fried egg on top and that was amazing as well! Go now!
This place was suggested as I haven't been to this area since...I dont kno when. First: gotz a comfortable feel with very nice staff. Chips and salsa, ok. Second...omd, they had a bacon nacho appetizer!!! Description say crunchy but a axed for soft and it was great! More a menudo or lingua type but had to try bacon cuz, u kno...bacon
Pretty good Mexican place, nothing super special though. I would probably go back because it’s so close to home. Decent prices too.
My family and I tried out Fajita House tonight. Overall, I was pleased. We ordered the 12 enchiladas special with half beef, half chicken. My husband didnt go back for seconds on the beef enchiladas but my kiddo asked for more. I loved the chicken enchiladas, rice, and charro beans. I would say the worst part was the cheese dip, its NOT queso. It's a cheese sauce from the can with water. I will definitely be eating here again but I'll be missing a decent queso the whole time.
I have heard great things about this establishment and wanted to try it out. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the hostess which is always a plus. Our drink order was taken and we received chips and salsa. Our server came with our drinks and offered guacamole and queso, which we agreed. Here's where things turned south. Our server bought out the chip accompaniments and sat them down. However as he went to place the queso, it spilled all over my husbands arm and clothes. They were accommodating in cleaning it up and even offered to "replace" the dish, but we declined. We placed our order and was looking forward to the meal. My husband had the pastor taco plate and I had the chicken enchiladas. The beans were a tad salty, the rice was a bit dry, and the enchiladas lacked authenticity with the red and green sauce. I've had plenty of Hispanic dishes served and watched my Godmother create them from scratch. I know not to expect much from commercial establishments but I expected better from this location. We received our check and was surprised that they not only didn't offer a discount for the incident, but still charged us for the queso. We gladly paid, but I doubt we will return.
Used to be much better. Haven't been in a few years but went tonight and the food seems to all come from cans now and thw salsa is watery. The tea was good. Not worth the price
The last time I visited this place was before COVID, and the food was great. After COVID, I heard the place went downhill, but I didn't believe it. Well, it's true. My coworker offered to buy me lunch, and I got the fajita enchiladas (with queso sauce), rice, and charro beans. The meat was good; however, the cheese looked and tasted like canned cheese. I didn’t touch the rice because I was already disappointed. The charro beans were a little salty. The chips were good, but the salsa that came with them was runny. Overall: 4/10. I won’t try it again.
This is the closest Mexican restaurant to our house and I really wanted it to be great. The service and atmosphere were good, however the food was average at best. Maybe we will try again at some point and see if the quality has improved.
Food is horrible!!!! I don’t know what kind of steak they used for their fajitas but it was dry. The meat wasn’t even seared properly and the flavor wasn’t there. I want my money back. I really should have went to Pappasitos as I was planing. When you’re a cook yourself you know good food.
Ordered takeout and couldn’t finish my meal because it is extremely salty and greasy. Glad I ordered the sweet tea to chase it down. I ordered just a little after 7pm on 7/8/24. Paid $18 cash and didn’t take the receipt. The lady was kind, so I wasn’t looking forward to any disappointments. Before today I hadn’t eaten here in over 10 years.
They have by far the worst caldo de res i ever had. It had a weird smell and it didn’t taste right. I didn’t dare to taste the meat but it was not like the caldo I grew up eating. The thing about caldo is most people order for the nutritious ingredients it has. But this thing had cheap frozen shredded carrots, old potatoes and peppers. It’s like they use in store bought beef broth and charged me $15
