Amazing fried chicken. First time coming here on a hot day thinking why not Go Go Bird. Very kind staff. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and loved it. Nice and crispy juicy chicken with a nice batter to it. Almost like a fish and chips batter. One thing to say is that it’s on the heavier end with more oil but that’s the point. A definition of a perfect fried chicken sandwich. Will be back soon.
I have never tasted anything like it! The chicken had great flavor and lasting crunch. However, it won't be something I order regularly, the chicken was very greasy. We ordered the furikake fries, cheddar biscuits and roll as well. Those flavors were crazy! The company is sitting on gold. Thank you too the young ladies working the register that day, you ladies displayed great customer service.
I had the chicken sandwich and my wife had the wings. The chicken was fantastic and the biscuits were amazing. Staff was very friendly and took good care of us. Can't say enough about the biscuits, definitely order the biscuits.
Our friends recommended we try Go Go Bird, and we’re so glad they did! Located inside Citizen Public Market, there’s plenty of seating both indoors and out, which made for a relaxed and casual dining experience. My husband and I each ordered the tenders and upgraded one of the fries to the Szechuan fries. You can also request the tenders “spicy”, which added dry rub with chilis and other spices—we gave it a shot, but the extra heat wasn’t super noticeable. Everything is made to order, so our food came out hot and fresh. We were shocked by how huge the tenders were—definitely more filling than expected! The house pickles were a great touch, cutting through the richness of the chicken and fries with tangy balance. We couldn’t even finish our meal, and were perfectly happy to have delicious tenders for a second meal.
Absolutely love this place! I come to Go Go Bird almost every Friday, and it never disappoints. The food is always super delicious, and the team is amazing—friendly, welcoming, and consistently delivering great service. The owner greets us with a smile every week, making the experience even more special. It’s rare to find a spot that combines incredible flavors, great hospitality, and a warm atmosphere so effortlessly. We just love it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for fantastic fried chicken and a great dining experience!
Ordered the Chicken Wings, Szechuan Seasoned Hand-Cut Fries, and Furikake Hand-Cut Fries. The Chicken wings and tenders are cooked similarly, delicious when hot and ready, very well seasoned. You can choose spicy or not spicy. The spicy is the way to go for some kick to the chicken. The pickles are a very light pickled cup of cucumbers, they're not as dilled as you might expect. The Japanese cheddar biscuit was a surprise, a tad sweet and somewhat unexpected, not a traditional plain biscuit. The Szechuan fries are not as hot as they seem, they feel quite tamed on the spice level. The Furikake fries are an easier choice to recommend if you like some of the nori flavor and saltiness taste to them. Both are delicious and great for sharing. Location is part of an open market space concept so it shares space with several different vendors offering unique tastes. This location does get busy so finding a place onsite to eat your food can become difficult. Parking is available at nearby public parking garage structures.
Solid place for fried chicken tenders and sandwiches. All the chicken is deep fried, almost like a beer batter and super juicy. Homemade Japanese ranch was excellent. This is inside of a retail space with several other eateries. We parked in the underground parking near Erewhon. Similar to the Packing District in Anaheim but smaller scale.
This fried chicken is crazy good. I got wings while my wife got tenders. I don't know how they get the skin to be so crispy and tasty, but it's truly amazing. They gave me a burned Mac n cheese at first that was barely edible, but they made a new one, and the new Mac n cheese was utterly delicious. I hope they can move nearby after Citizen Public Market closes.
I just want to start out by saying the staff was great and handled a busy market very well. The chicken was delicious, just note the breading on the chicken is slightly thick but seasoned well and slightly spicy. I preferred the juicy tenders over the wings, personally. The Szechuan fries were fantastic, the seasoning, spiciness and crispy edges were crave-able. I loved the pickles which were more like a quick pickled cucumber with lots of sesame which added great flavor and freshness. I tried all of the sauces, you can’t go wrong with any of them in my opinion. I loved that Go Go Bird also has a station for additional sauces and pickled hot peppers. We will be back!
I really love Go Go bird. They have some really phenomenal chicken sandwiches. I love the style that they fry their chicken in. I would highly recommend checking it out if you've never been. There's a few other places in this food court but Go Go Bird is a must. I will definitely be coming back
I'm a big fan of Go Go Bird's chicken sandwich. It's the best one I've had in LA. They make everything fresh and tasty at the newly refreshed Citizen Public Market in Culver City. The chicken has a crunchy japanese-style batter that makes it different from other places. The fries are also amazing, especially the Japanese Poutine Fries with cheese and curry!

We had the wings meal, the chicken was sooo crispy and flavorful! Convenient to order and find seating in the food hall.

Stopped by here after playing a round at Oak Quarry and our group was super glad we did! . We ordered the tenders, wings and a bunch of different sides The chicken was super crispy and juicy and the sauces were on point. My personal favorite is the hot sauce - think of it as a bolder version of Dave's hot sauce. Also don't miss out on the biscuits they are heavenly
The tenders came out crispy and the chicken was still juicy. The flavor profile was awesome with just a bit of spice. The cheddar biscuits were AMAZING! And the green-tea yuzu lemonade (Mr. Miyagi) was super refreshing! This is something the whole family can enjoy.
Hands down the best fried chicken in LA. We tried nearly everything on the menu. Their chicken tenders are the juiciest I've ever had. The sando was huge and tasted even better with the hot sauce. The biscuits are a hidden gem. Left satisfied and extremely full. Great staff and great service. Will be back to try the rest.
Tuesday 1/27/26 5pm First off I hesitate to post my photos, we were going to drive our wings 30 miles home to eat but the smell and knowing fresh is best we pulled into a shopping parking lot with crap lighting, I apologize in advance! It does NOT show the yumminess that GoGo Bird delivers! Go Go Bird is in a very nice, clean, fun area near UCR, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly! A very nice group of young people! They were so nice and helpful. I like that the menu is small, do a few things exceptionally well, not a lot of things half a$$ed. You place your order and your food is prepared freshly right in front of you, it takes a few minutes but so worth it! I ordered the wings and they were delicious!!! Cooked to perfection, batter fried not a crumb coating, a delicious crispy batter! The wings were a very nice size, cut into drums and flats, the sauces that I tried were very very good! We tried the chili crisp, Japanese ranch and a mustard sauce, all great! Even the yummy roll with honey that comes with it is great, pickles are good too! I can’t wait to go back and try sides! Weird to be so excited about wings but these hit right! Ugh to post the pic or not?? Remember, I ate in the car because I couldn’t wait and the light is, you’ll see lol. I love Go Go Bird! Well done you guys who were there! Dogs are not allowed in the court unless a service dog. Tonight they only accepted cash. See you soon!

Of all the many fried chicken joints across LA at the moment, this is my favorite. The strips are wonderfully crispy and flavorful, reminiscent of a modern take on the old classic pioneer style fried chicken, the dipping sauces are unique and tasty, particularly the Japanese ranch. And importantly, the French fries are hand cut and double fried. This is an example of a place that serves up a small menu and does it extremely well. Highly recommended!
I’d say the food was slightly better than good. The chicken was moist and the batter had a good crunch but really lacking flavor. The fries were hefty and had a good crunch but also lacking flavor… Not much in the realm of service, it’s in a food hall and fast food style, you get the food and find your own seat. This is relevant for the atmosphere as well, not much of an atmosphere to talk about. Parking was across the street in a structure, were ate and walked around and it only cost $1
A soaring experience that left me happy and delighted. The star of the show: the food. With a focus on, you guessed it, chicken, I opted to get the chicken tenders with japanese cheddar biscuit & pickles, and the chicken gyoza. Oh my feathers, everything surpassed what I expected and then some. The tenders boasted a golden coating encasing tender, juicy chicken and the accompanying japanese cheddar biscuit was a biscuit masterpiece that added an extra layer of savory goodness to the already tasty dish. The chicken dumplings where the right mix of a seared exterior and a juicy, flavorful filling. It is all made to order so the ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are served warm. Gather your flock and fly on over to this spot for a fried chicken experience you won't soon forget.

This place has promise but the food was a bit too salty and overseasoned for my taste. The chicken was fried well but the breading was a little thick and chicken slightly dry. Fries were definitely too salty and couldn't finish them, which is a rarity for me. Some extra veggies would help balance the food out better.

Chicken was heavy battered and although the chicken was juicy it had minimal flavor. Flavor came from the batter itself which was decent. They give small cups for sauces which is a disservice given the amount of chicken you receive, anything more is extra. Overall it's a one and done kind of place.
Don't go go bird. Very greasy the tenders are big but it taste like fish maybe the grease was dirty. The sandwich had it dark meat maybe leg meat. The pickles are soggy and sweet that's a technical foul no crunch and sweet eww. The fries are good. No BS a Mcchicken sandwich taste better. than that sandwich. Never Again
