L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Ordered via Uber eats. They called me immediately after I placed the order to say they didn’t have any lau lau. I changed it to the meat combo - kalbi, teri steak and teri chicken (which was good!). Tipped well and the delivery guy practically ran the order right over. I was happy with everything.

This place is hands down a 5/5. I ordered a "Mini" as well as a regular entree. The mini was like 5 lbs of food! I was surprised by both quality and quantity. Super good and would recommend.

This place is a gem! I always love Hawaiian food and this place was delicious! The food came out super fast and piping hot. We even got sauces to go that were still warm. We got the mini Loco Moco and Mini Kalua Pork and Katsu chicken. Both came with white rice and macaroni salad. They also had a huge range of Hawaiian drinks too! I've never seen so many choices! Tried out the Green Tea Lychee drink and it was really great. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone with a Hawaiian Food craving :)

Dont let the location fool you. Worth the drive and all the orders are made fresh when you buy it. Great Hawaiian food at reasonable prices. This is take out only. The portions aren't as generous as they used to be. But you get good value for your $$. The orders are made fresh & are ready quickly. Very efficient & courteous service. My go to when in the South Bay. I usually orfer & Park on Imperial & watch the planes take off.

Great food! This isn't a place to hang out and eat but it is an excellent choice for pickup and they're open later than most places in the neighborhood.

LandLs is my go to for Hawaiian food. But don't like that the location in El Segundo charges more than other locations.

Well...first of all this place is a take out place, unless you like to eat standing, because there are no chairs at all. The food have to say is good and definitely with the Hawaiian flavor, and they really serve great portions for what you are paying, so in that aspect no complaints at all. But in the attitude and behaviour of the people working there, to much to say. First of all, in the back, seems that employees are just taking time to criticize whoever comes in, if it's to short, to dressy, to casual, to arrogant, look like a clown, etc,etc and the girl at the front laughing about their comments, like we, customers were deaf or wouldn't mind The atmosphere in general quite awful, due in aspect for these comments and in general the indisposition of all these workers, seems that there is no manager or he/she accept this kind of behaviour In my case, first and last time I get there, won't repeat the aggravating time there.

Good food and service, but it's really more of a take away. No seating and restrooms for customers. I prefer their Culver City location.

What happened? The prices doubled and the quality went down. Ate two of the katsu chicken strips and was highly disappointed. The breading tasted burnt like and the chicken itself was a bit on the chewy side. Yeah this place is a no go for a while.

This location has good service, and convenient if you're in the area. Seating is not available if you want to dine in. Overall, the food in this location is quite different from other locations. We ordered musubi and the mixed bbq plate, and they both tasted different than the other locations. The musubi (spam) was undercooked and very oily. The bbq mixed plate was pretty fair with the marinade, greasy, and the mac salad was sour. Not everything in the menu was available....laulau as an example.

worst food I've ever eaten. I was very hungry but still the food seemed tasteless. They don't know how to cook at all

The service was terrible. I paid extra for grilled cabbage, and all veggies instead of rice and macaroni. I received no grilled cabbage and barely any veggies. Plus, paid $7 more than the Gardena L&L H. I do not recommend El Segundo L&L H..

the food at this place is aweful probably the worst Hawaiian food I've ever eaten, the rice is mushy, the teriyaki sauce is salty, their meat portions are tiny, the spam in the spam masubi was overcooked and they wrap their masubi in celephan which is hard to unwrap so you find yourself battling your masubi instead of eating it. Because I worked late tonight I ordered an hour before closing and didn't find out until after I got home to eat that they made my order incorrectly and gave me a plate of food completely different than the menu description, I ordered the Low Carb plate which was supposed to be made with vegetables (instead of rice and macaroni salad) and topped with a fried egg. Instead of vegetables they overloaded my plate with that mushy rice and that macaroni salad (the kind you can buy at Smart and Final) and didn't bother adding the fried egg. By the time I got home and found out, it was too late to return the food and/or too late to call the manager to complain about what happened. I ended up throwing the food in the garbage...what a waste of $15!

The cashier order the wrong food. Went back and she was blaming me that I order wrong ! When I order the same plate I always order. Then she wants to charge me extra for something that comes with the order! I’m waiting on my refund and she continued pushing my buttons. I’m quiet so I tell her why you keep going. Just do your job give me my refund period! All the times I been there I’ve never been treated like she treated me! She needs to know if she back talks she not representing her job! First off all.. I have been to all kinds of locations to include the original L&L in Hawaii. This franchise couldn't be anything farther from the atmosphere, and quality of any of all the other franchises I have ate at. Secondly they were no chairs at any of the tables to encourage customers to not stay and eat. Then after spending 💰 quite a bit of money on the large orders, they said their restrooms were not for public. Forget that you just spent for a family of four for dinner. Thirdly the food was absolutely disgusting. The chicken sling on the BBQ chicken plate either had hair from the chef or was jot chicken. It was a clip of hair. The macaroni salad was spoiled. All of it was thrown away immediately. For the sake of not receiving food poisoning. I suggest anyone who wants Hawaiian food or to experience true L&L food stay as far away from this disasterous abomination. Yuck 🤮

Horrible customer service. Google and their own sign says they close at 11pm and we drove quite a ways to get some food. Arrived at 10:25pm, they were closing up. The cashier was walking out with her food in hand and said "the cooks had something else to do and nobody wants to work, and we close early now". Can't comment on the food because we had none but we won't be coming back.

I usually have a good experience here but today I was helped by the elderly Asian woman who works there I’m assuming she’s management by her tone of voice with employees but today when I got my food she handed me a box of musubi and walked away with out a bag or asking if I’d like a sauce. I left upset and my coworker went to ask for a sauce and then was charged 50 cents for one even tho we’ve been getting them Included with out orders every time prior. Let’s stop Asian hate with Asian people not hating everybody else. She looked at me like I was trash and didn’t even deserve to be there.

I love LnL Hawaiian bar b q but this location is one I would never go too again. They have a huge sign right in front of there entrance that says business hours mon-sun from 9:30am to 11pm I arrived on a Saturday at 9:50pm and they also had the sign open on. The cashier is cleaning the tables and walk in and I asked the girl if they were open and she said yes then right when I am about to order she tells me you know what actually no we are closed and kicks me out. What kind of business does that to a customer ! specially when the sign clearly says open till 11pm. Unbelievable garbage employees and I feel sorry for the owners. I wonder if they know how there employees are running there business.
