⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A heartfelt thank you to Lazy Dog Cupertino and GM Diego Rodriguez We recently held my dad’s Celebration of Life at the Lazy Dog Restaurant in Cupertino, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional experience we had. From start to finish, General Manager Diego Rodriguez was absolutely amazing to work with. Diego was deeply respectful of our circumstances, compassionate, and creative in finding a time when we could rent out the entire restaurant. He helped us choose the perfect menu, tailored to our guests, and was instrumental in organizing the flow of the event. Thanks to his support, we were able to personalize the space with a slideshow that played throughout the restaurant and our own playlist in the background — touches that made the day truly special. When it came time for speeches, Diego made sure we had a microphone ready, and whenever my sister or I felt overwhelmed, he was right there, offering genuine support and kindness. The staff was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive, making sure every guest felt cared for. It was an emotional day, but Diego and his team created an atmosphere filled with comfort and grace. While other restaurants turned us away when I inquired about a 3-hour buyout, Lazy Dog welcomed us with open arms. Because of Diego and his amazing team, we will be forever loyal customers. Thank you, Diego, and everyone at Lazy Dog Cupertino, for helping us honor my dad’s memory in such a beautiful and meaningful way. ❤️

A delightful experience! We got seated super quick even at a busy time, our food came out fresh and hot very quickly, and we had a great time with our meal, which was a lot of appetizers as me and my girlfriend couldn't decide what to get. The Cajun Fries, Candy Bacon, and Brussels Sprouts as phenomal! Our visit was catered wonderfully by our server, Maya, who was attentive and made sure we had a great time!

⭐ Review: Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is such a cozy and welcoming spot, especially if you’re a dog lover. I really appreciate that they’re dog-friendly, with a great patio where you can enjoy a meal with your pup. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. The food was tasty and well-portioned, and the menu has a good variety — something for everyone. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind, enjoy good food, and feel welcome with your dog. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back spot with good vibes.

Food was great. And our service was great. The waitress i dont remember her name. She was an older lady. But she was very nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. She was also very attentive and just checking in on our table. She was also super friendly and nice to our kids. Which is a big plus. Thank you.

Great spot in Cupertino! Drinks are excellent, food is fresh and tasty, and the staff is always welcoming. Plus, they’re open until midnight, perfect for late night bites and cocktails 😋

Consistently great food & a beautiful restaurant! S/O to Makayla! Great server and service! IG: pjology I’ve always really liked the overall aesthetic of Lazy Dog. The high ceilings make the space feel open and inviting, and everywhere you look there are unique touches — metal dog sculptures, framed photos of dogs and horses, and a beautiful back-lit bar that showcases the full lineup of drinks. The patio is also a great option if you want to sit outside and enjoy some fresh air. Now for the food: Black & Blue Burger — Cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The blue cheese adds a nice tang that pairs perfectly with the bacon and juicy patty. It’s one of my favorite burgers here — rich, savory, and super satisfying. Chicken Tortilla Soup — Classic comfort food. The broth is full of flavor with just the right amount of heat, loaded with tender chicken and topped with crispy tortilla strips and fresh avocado. Always a solid choice. Butter Cake — This is the star of the meal. Served warm, with a slightly crisp top and a rich, buttery center that melts in your mouth. Paired with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries — it’s easily one of the best desserts I’ve had anywhere. Bonus — they even have a full dog menu if you’re bringing your pup 🐾 Consistently great food, beautiful design, and a place I always enjoy coming back to.

Dropped by after school for a Mom/daughter food date and this review I wanted to make is mainly for our Server Delilah. I have been coming here since it opened on Main Street since we are short of any good casual dining in our city and Delilah was amazing! She accommodated my 12yo to her exact desires and needs and made sure to periodically check on us. Huge smiles, great listening ears and overall outstanding service! Thank you Delilah for a wonderful service! As for Food we tried the appetizers: chicken wings and lettuce wraps, Thai noodles and Steak and all were delicious! The chef even cut it into bite sized for my 12yo. This Gen Alpha bunch eat so good! She got a Shirley Temple and I got the ice tea but Ive had the Peach Sangria and I need that recipe! Cant wait to come back and fingers crossed we get Lilah again!

I was pretty Lucky to be able to come check this place out during a Yelp Elite Event. We came here here in a large group. I love that they have large spacious seating areas, indoor and outdoor. Huge Bar station, a big Fire Pit outside to keep u warm in this cold weathers. They offer many American Classics dishes!!! I was happy to try many of them. I truly enjoyed their non alcoholic mock-tails too. Afterwords I ordered the American classic burger to take Home to my honey. Overall it was a nice experience here at Lazy Dog and I would come back again to try other items here. October 25

It’s casual and easy restaurant, walking distance from hotel. Plenty of parking space though can get a bit busier at night. Seeing crowd even during lunch & dinner. I went there to get an American burger to go after my workout; it tastes great! And back to this restaurant for dine in lunch.

Food: Never been disappointed by them so far. This time we try one of their new menu, the loco moco fried rice. The flavor is nice but will be a bit too salty with the sauce, so you need to be careful. The burger is great! Psss and their appetizers are great too! Service: it’s regular and standard across the chains. Ambiance: casual and suitable for friends and family gatherings at a late time in Bay Area!

Overall the food was solid, well executed. We came around 5:45 on Sunday, not very busy. Service was great, staffed checked in on us regularly. We ordered the Crispy Devil Eggs as an appetizer and the Ribs + Umami Fries and Pot Roast Beef Hot Sandwich with a sesame ginger mixed green salad (+$5.50) as our entrées. Crispy Devil Eggs (4/5) The egg whites were lightly battered and fried, giving them a delicate crunch. They were filled with a creamy, flavorful egg yolk mixture. It also came with a salad that was not listed on the menu. The salad dressing was very flavorful. I liked it more than my salad with sesame ginger sauce. Ribs + Umami Fries: Sweet and Spicy Korean Gochugaru (4/5) The ribs were exceptionally tender and fell right off the bone. However, the sauce was more sweet with no spicy. It was a bit of a let down was I was hoping for a bit of heat. (3/5) The umami fries is really good! The texture was amazing, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fries were very savory, they weren't kidding when they named it "Umami Fries". It was also lightly topped with a sauce, but I liked the fries more on its own. (5/5) It also came with a Peanut Sesame Coleslaw, which was lightly dressed, not super wet which I liked. Tho, I wish the coleslaw was served separately or in bowl, as it made some of the fries soggy. (3.5/5) Hot sandwich: Pot roast beef dip + sesame ginger mixed green salad The beef was lean, very moist, good beef flavor, good amount of salt. The dip was great, light, not overly fatty, yet packed with flavor. Horseradish was a nice touch to the sandwich. The bread seems like it was toast without butter. If it was toasted with butter or garlic butter the dish would be elevated to the next level. But if you like that beef flavor, this is a solid beef sandwich! (3.5/5) I also added the sesame ginger salad for an additional $5. The vinaigrette had a pleasant tang, but the sesame flavor was quite subtle and could have been more pronounced.

Went here for a team dinner and the food option is massive. We ordered a bunch of apps to share. My favorite was the loaded hush puppies. I got a tex mex salad which was good and the portion was big. Service was quick and plenty of space inside. Would also be a good place to watch a game or two.

Chicken pot pie looked great so we got o w to share. It was pretty big. We just had to add salt and pepper because it was lacking a little flavor. The kids gobbled up the chicken Alfredo. Then we ate all the desserts. Banana pudding was super tasty. I also ordered the maple bacon bourbon which was a little too sweet but that didn’t stop me from drinking it all up. Fried deviled eggs were interesting but I would get them again.

They have a separate gluten sensitive menu with limited options. Some items on the main menu are gluten free or can be made gluten free.

Great place to bring dogs! Went with the family including my 2 year old nephew and the waiters were very patient. The first time I went there were vegan options and the second time there were not. It looks like the menu rotates so I'll be checking before I go next time. Ended up just getting the brussel sprouts which were a bit acidic and oily.

I went out to eat with my friends, we came in a large party so one of our servers gave us “4 sides of complimentary chips” in which they ended up charging us for. We didn’t notice until after we had already left the restaurant so we didn’t want to go back. Food was great and all but don’t tell your tables that you will be giving out something complimentary if you are going to charge us for it. Just because you see a table of young people doesn’t mean you can take advantage of them. So be aware !

We were a group of six and tried a variety of dishes. The food was average — nothing stood out — but the service was quite poor. Our server kept coming over to ask if we needed anything, but every time we asked them to clear the dirty plates, they would take just one and then disappear without returning. The table stayed messy for a long time, which really affected the overall experience. Not somewhere I’d be in a hurry to return to.

Literally the worst service experience I have ever had. As I sat down, the boy bartender came over and asked, "what can I get you?" I said, "How about two menus?". He scoffed child-like and questioned, "Two?". I said, "Yeah. A drink menu and a food menu." Now this already annoyed me, but I suspect it is of the culture here as it happened the last couple times I have been in. Lazy Dog, I am talking to the management here. If you are telling the bartenders to say that before offering a menu or phrasing it different, that's on you. It's dumb if patrons are not regulars. How would anyone know what they want before they know what you have to offer? Idiotic. After my food came, I was ignored completely for the rest of the time as I sat at the bar solo. There were two other couples at the bar top, that was it. It literally came down to the lady from of the couple adjacent to me hollering at them not once but twice to get any service. The boy bartender came over after and said, "well you were talking so I just left you alone". Well child, what we were talking about and why the conversation started, was because I was getting zero service. We were literally talking about how awful the service was and how I was being ignored for like 15-20 minutes. There was no remorse from this self-apsorbed boy. He was actually quite rude and defensive with me instead of apologetic. It's like he wanted to start a fight. Get rid of this person. Seriously. Thanks
