Honestly as a black man I bought into the stereotypes of this restaurant but that's complete fiction I saw more people of color in this place both eating and working there (maybe just be a Texas thing- and sorry to bring up race but it would be unrealistic if me to not bring up the stereotype) Continuing, the food was great and worth the price paid. Honestly service could have been a little better. The waitress checked on the table but refills weren't offered even when glasses were empty (unsure if refills are free or you have to ask, so that's not completely on the waitress). The aesthetic is very old school memorabilia based with rocking chairs lining up the outside

Love the atmosphere, the service, and the rocking chairs outside. We enjoyed the gift shop, the music selection, and the great games on the table available to play as you waited for the food, which was not long at all. Great fries!

The food that delicioso. I must say I was disappointed with the portion but was good. Atmosphere was good very busy but it was a Sunday after church hours I visit. The one thing that I really feel they should improve is services, the waiter was not attentive we would have to ask for refills and ask another waiter for straws and creamers. The reason we were disappointed because when we gave our order we told the waiter we will be placing an order to go, and I ask if you want to place it now or when food arrive. We finished eating I ask the waiter 3 times he didn't took the order. At the end I ask a waitress to give me a box to go. Got my tickets pay and left. In this area they need improvement.

*UPDATE* Came by to Cracker Barrel since kids have been wanting to come to the shop inside. We shopped around for a bit and then when ready the hostess seated us immediately at a nice big table top which is perfect because that’s enough room to put extra hot plates and not worry about kids touching hot plates. Mary was our server and was by far super sweet. I can be very specific sometimes and she handled all my questions and requests flawlessly and was super helpful. My only complaint about my particular meal was it was just warm coming out but other than that all was great. Glad they changed around from when I last visited over a year ago! Customer service had definitely gone way up! Thanks Mary for your awesome service!

Overall, the food was ok. Ordered the french toast from the Take Home meal section, beside regular breakfast plates. Informed the waitress it will be eaten at the table. Had to wait on it for a bit because they were out of strawberries. It was still frozen on the inside when it came out.

My wife and kids took me here for an early Father's Day dinner since they know Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite American food restaurants. Restaurant was nice and clean, not many people there so it was quiet (which was nice). Chris was our waiter, nice guy no complaints on him. The reason for the 2 star review is the food was not very good at all. We did not get any biscuits until our meal was served. The butter was so hard you could not spread it on the biscuits. The chicken friend chicken tasted and had the same texture as rubber, the friend pickles tasted like they were friend in the same oil as the shrimp. Chicken Friend steak was not good, and the gravy to me tasted like it had soap in it. My kid said the scrambled eggs were horrible but the French toast was good. Usually my pick for father's day. . . next year I think we try somewhere else.

Dined here for the first time today Monday at 2:50 pm. There was nobody at the hostess stand but three cashiers standing around talking to each other. We waited 5 minutes for an employee to greet us even though there were several cashiers and waiters who made eye contact with us. Once sat we placed our order right away. The waiter was decent. Requested blueberry pancakes as one of the orders with Grandmas Sampler platter. Someone messed that up and served us regular pancakes. The waitress estimated it would would only take 3 minutes to get the correct pancakes to us. It took at least 10. The blueberry version was good and hot when they finally did arrive. We asked for our bacon and sausage to be fried hard and they got that perfect. The scrambled eggs were runny and disgusting.

Update 8/25/25: horrible "food"! Gross. Chicken was old and dry. Broccoli was bland and old and dry. Same for pretend mashed potatoes. NEVER plan to return. They've ruined Cracker Barrel! Very sad. Rest in peace. Update 2024: wonderful experience. Steven was a fantastic server. Kind and caring, and listened, kept our drinks full. Food was great. Staff was great. LOVE it always

We’re the only Hispanic family here today August 6, 2025 at 12:30pm and our waiter Keely was extremely raves towards us mind you today we got release from the hospital due to us having a miscarriage on Friday ! This is what I crave while pregnant so we came to get some for the last time as a family of 5 she ignored us and was treating us completely different than her other tables she made my kids feel so uncomfortable due to her making faces to them while ordering there food ! Almost choked. HUGE chunk of Plastic in my food and more. My favorite place let me down horribly. They said it's the pan lining. Wow, and they barely wanted to make it right. Had a sore throat for that day and the next. An associate manager said no charge for 1 meal, not 1 apology. Concern for our health. Nothing. It was business as usual. Then we were so uncomfortable we noticed more issues. See picture. What happens to people who just eat it?? Another manager came and took care of the entire bill verbally. However, we still got a bill and it wasn't even accurate. We waited 10mins at check out for the associate to say we can leave. No charge. Uhhhh. Just annoying. Customers are dedicated to spending our dollars at a restaurant "my favoritebreakfast spot". However, the restaurant is not considerate back. Nope, didn't finish the meal after that. So what say the public?

Hands down this was the most disorganized Cracker Barrel restaurants I have ever been to. This honestly was my first visit here and the first time I did not have breakfast. It started with two people not knowing to to seat people. They simply could not communicate with one another properly and both were confused. As we were being seat, waiters cut us off 3 different times and 2 waiters bumped into each other. We ordered the fried chicken which was extremely lack luster. This was shake n bake without a doubt. If you enjoy shake n bake, you will like the chicken. My salad never arrived even after two people said it was coming. The waiter did bring the manager over to explain how they took it off the bill which was interesting. The side dishes were flavorless. I honestly have never had flavorless corn. How does that even happening? We were told the bread , cornbread and biscuits would be out. Sadly we only got the left over biscuits from breakfast. They were hard and not the normal flacky I am accustomed to at this restaurant chain. Silverware had to be requested as did refills. I noticed this at several tables. One man got up and actually walked into the kitchen for silverware. I sat there watching only one person try and clean tables, waiters squeezing between each other and often running into one another and the staff sit a very pregnant woman in a very tight spot, she later moved. In summary, the food is flavorless, the services needs help and the organizational skills are a mess here. We will not be going back.
