Superp! THE BEST IN Dallas! When it comes to Asian cuisine at an affordable price, none pretentious just straight forward wonderfully delicious! Building has been standing for a good while yet they keep a tidy , neat and tight ship! Don't miss out! Go !
1st time I have ever been here but the egg rolls are awesome... 3 different kinds each very yummy. On this menu is Ramen noodle soup I ordered beef n it was really D-lish!!! I'll frequent this place now! It's a family owned business n very clean!!! Owner n employees are very friendly n helpful!!! 🤪❤🧡💛💚💙💜❣💯
2 weeks ago I gave this place 5 stars. But if there was a minus button on here I would take them all away. Been going in here for years and I mean years, never had a problem. Must be under new management: Not only was i charged for extra soy sauce because 2 is not enough for 8 egg rolls ...i asked for extra hot homemade mustard of which i have always been charged for i asked for 6. When i checked my order they had put the Packaged mustard and had charged me .25 cents per packet and they had also charged me for the pepper sauce. Then when i went up front to tell them they had given me the wrong hot mustard and that i already paid for 5 the girl handed me 2 and i said no i had paid for 5 then another woman started talking in their native language...I just took my 2 hot mustards and walked out and I plan to keep right on walking. When I told the girl I had never been charged for extra soy sauce...yes they even charged me for that .10 cents a packet for everyone after 2. When I asked why she said we are a small business and we have to make money. Well your business just got a lot smaller.
Was visiting a friend in a different part of town so I wasn't familiar with this restaurant but it came highly recommended the food is excellent the service is great and as far as price I will give it$$1/2
I have been going to this place for 35 years. It was closed at one time due to a fire. Seen it go through 3 families. Recently it was sold to another family. They are more talkative. YES! the place is LONG over due for a facelift. But I keep going back for the following reasons 1. the portions. Enough for 2 or more. 2. The BEST combination fried rice. 3.Fast service. 4. hours of business. 5. soft serve ice cream. 6. Price is the best in town! They tend to go through different cooks. So if food is not right I just ask and they tell me new cook. I dont like that now they sell cheap items at the counter. It looks too much like a flea market.
awesome hot fresh food. good location. wish w e could go back inside to eat. God bless
Their food is great, and their portions are generous! I really couldn't rate the atmosphere because it's drive thru only.
The food is awesome. We come from the other side of town just to patronage because they have the best hands down. Lot's of food and always fresh and hot. Shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken is our favorite.
Great food and the combination fried rice is off the chain, don't order a large lol unless it's for you and someone else. 2/12/2018 I'm extremely upset with the egg roll hut. I ordered a combination fried rice and ask for my shrimp to be placed on the side, I was told that they could not do that because the cooks will be upset. Um who's paying for this food, ME! What really upsets me is that I was told this by the manager! Will not be back, you just lost a lotal customer...
Unbelievable portions!!! Tastes great. Pleasant people... Clean tables.... I love it!!! I've never had an egg foo young that was made like this! There's more pork than there is egg! I'm having trouble finding the egg!
I ordered combination rice, orange beef, egg rolls and ragoons Total was 46 dollars Everything was fresh crispy Was an excellent meal I cleared my plate I would recommend
Few things have changed but I will always love Egg Roll Hut. She’s apart of my childhood, as the first time I have been there was when I was 3. And have been many times since & I’m 18 now. I’m so glad my parents have good taste. I always order the same thing, a large combination fried rice😋🥰
I've grown up eating egg roll hut all my life it's beautiful steamy delicious Chinese food. They serve generous portions at affordable prices
Hungry, frozen from ice storm, starving, and after ordering realized I did not have cash or credit card with me. I was given my order and told pay later. Food was wonderful, I paid next day, and brought my family a number of times. Food was always very good, large portions, owner and family are wonderful, caring and sharing. Never forget the Egg Roll Hut of Fair Park, Dallas! Thank you Egg Roll Hut!
Despite being a drive thru it still counts as fast food in a sense however the combination fried rice is heavenly delicious and appetizing and I love putting hot sauce on it and it is my childhood favorite although I should try more different menu items but so far I rate this 10/10 Well done
Haven't been here a while.everything looks pretty new updated especially the restroom, the restroom look real clean which I like the most. food over here still awesome, and the price is great. I definitely recommend for people who have big appetite come over here because One Bowl a food will get you full but you can't finish all of it That the challenge for you guys Bring lots friends and family you'll need them😀😀😀
The food is always good. You will get your money's worth. Prices are still cheap compared too other Chinese restaurants. The main thing about this business it has changed so much within the last 2 1/2 yrs. Their menu has gone thru so many changes also. They no longer sell their famous Hamburgers or 🍟. No one is allowed too dine inn and they no longer do Deliveries.
They closed their restaurant from the inside so no more dine in. It's way better to order ahead and skip the wait. Beef and broccoli is probably the best dish (imo) but I like their chicken Lo Mein. It's probably the only Chinese food restaurant that does drive thru that isn't a part of a chain.
I got delivery today although I have been to the restaurant. It is always clean and the staff is always friendly! My delivery came quick. The food quality is excellent and the quantity is even greater! I'll be eating rice for 3 days! LOL This is the best value I have found so far when it comes to Chinese food. Price is totally affordable and like I said, the quantity of food received is surprising! I highly recommend Egg Roll Hut to those of you in search of good Chinese food with good service and prices!
I have eaten here several times. Food is always good, and lots of it. One meal for me, is like 2 meals 😊 There is no dining in, all drive through. Well worth it❤️
Delicious and a great meal for our family when we are too tired to cook! They are always friendly, it’s quick, and the food is delicious. We usually have leftovers to munch on the next day ☺️
I'm born in raised in Dallas and love this place as kid growing up, a lot has changed but the food is still great to have when you really want some fresh 'hot' Chinese food ready to order, they don't have the old fashioned hamburgers any longer, but everything is still awesome! Wish they would open the lobby again, but only time can tell... I forgot to mention, they do have dine in patio outside, really chillaxin.. Love you guys, keep up the good work and I'll see you soon!
This is the best hole in the wall Chinese place I’ve found around Dallas. Quality and ready fast! Always piping hot!
I've been coming here for years! & I've tried every Chinese food joint in Dallas & NOBODY out there can touch they're Combination Fried Rice. They don't skimp on anything, but the 🐖 the 🐔 the 🥩 the 🍤 🥚's onions 🥕 n peas. ✅ It out & see if I'm playn!!! Thank you Egg Roll Hut! And I am a real customer& not a spokesman 😎😋👍😍👀
I have been eating at Egg Roll Hut off and on since my children were kids, and now they're in their 40's. We use to dine in back then, but now we order delivery or drive through. The food we get is hot fresh and tasty. I can tell the cooks have likely changed over the years, but it's still good food for a relatively good price.
I got the soul rolls and the peaches and dream! SEASONED TO PERFECTION! Great food came packaged well with a tamper detector. My only suggestion would be to provide larger portions to accommodate pricing offer or reduce production cost to revise pricing. But I'll pay extra for food this good. 😋
One of my favorite spots to go to. Staff is friendly. They recently had to close because of the bad storms there was in the area. But they re-opened. I always call in my order for pickup and they give me the time it would be ready. I always get my food on time. They remodeled the place. It looks better. I highly recommend this place.
It was good, nothing too crazy for Chinese food. The portions are big, even a small plate. They have table service here. Also outside seating. But the parking is a bad situation all together. I would definitely go here instead of the buffet down the street.
I feel it's not so clean back in that kitchen . But i been here for years now , mainly always for the combination fried rice and beef broccoli lomane. Its the best tasting Chinese rice in the city in my opinion. Plus people are nice anf prices are low
Good food. Ordered online and had no issues. Egg foo yun wasn’t the best but aside from that everything else was great.
i really like this place, grew up in the area and even though i have moved a little further i still make the drive. The workers have changed quite a bit and its not for the better, i placed an order for pick up and it was taken down all wrong on the phone, the manager was very apologetic and i didn't mind waiting when i got to the restaurant. My only complaint is the younger workers that are in the front of the restaurant. You had a 1st time customer asking me how the food was, and of course i told her the food was good, unfortunately i couldnt say the same about the service, if she asked a question the cashier was very short with her..almost rude. Please work on the customer service here or hire more approachable staff who like their jobs.
Recently did a delivery order from here. I received my order very quickly. They serve large portions so I had enough to share. Just wish there were veggies in the fried rice but other than that it was good.
If you are brave enough to stop in here you will be rewarded with the largest portions of the tastiest food to be found in this part of town. This place is like a secret from the rest of the world. The staff are patient, courteous, and helpful. The dining area is clean, and the price is unbelievably low. Not a bad deal, especially when you are hungry for some wonton soup and egg rolls.
FYI they do not accept American Express. I came back another day with my Visa card and ordered the shrimp fried rice and house egg rolls. The house egg rolls weren't great but the shrimp fried rice was pretty good. I ordered the small portion and can easily make three meals out of that much food. So it was a good value. I'll go back and try different egg rolls.
The food is good but they have shortened the portions and raised the prices on everything and the portions do not match the price. It smells very bad around the restaurant as if there's a septic backup. And the restaurant is cold and not very welcoming.
I had takeout, it's a solid place. The food is tasty, portions are great, and the service is quick. They might get your order wrong, but it will be close enough. Theis crab rangoon's are so delish.
I ordered chicken fried rice yesterday with extra chicken. Portions are huge and actually grateful for that since I love left overs....however the flavor was bland. Crispy noodle side was a small portion too. Service was nice and polite. I'll come again and try their sweet and sour chicken next time.
This place is delicious, but they really need to stop putting such hot food in the Styrofoam containers. It melts the containers and where do you think it's melting on? The food. That's SOOOOO bad for people. Either switch the containers or let it cool down a little before putting it in the containers! I REALLY love this place. The beef low mien is go die for. The beef strips are tender, the ingredients are fresh and incredible.
I was pleasantly surprised with the food😊. Portions are good. I got combo lo mein, shrimp fried rice, orange chichicken, and (the last picture is mine - buffet style of all three). These are all the 'Small' portions from the menu. And the orange chicken is not what I would have expected, again, pleasantly surprised. I gave it 4 stars because it's a bit awkward when you drive up. I ordered ahead and so I was picking up. They only have one lane to pick up or order. Exiting the parking lot is easy peasy. I will be going back. Enjoy😍.
Stopped by here to try the takeout and we loved it! Great and quick service via the drive-thru window. The food stayed warm until we got home and it was everything you would want from a classic takeout Chinese place. This will definitely be our new takeout spot due to the quality and location to us.
Food is good but they've gotten really expensive for some reason. Called in an order so it's be ready to pick up on way to work and still had to wait in the drive thru line. Fire call ins they should have you park up front and get it out to you! Don't have time to wait another 15 min. in line with call in!
BE CAREFUL: the prices online are cheaper than when you pay for your food upon pickup. Is it really necessary to upcharge $0.30 for simple egg roll,$0.50 on hot & sour soup and, $0.75 on steamed dumplings? If you can't be honest with your customers, then you will have no customers! Not sure I'll ever go back.
This restaurant has been open for yeeeeaaars...my family used to take us to eat there when I was little...so like in the 1980s kinda old. I remember they used to have really cool fish tanks and everything was nicely decorated. Flash forward years later and this place has definitely aged. As far as the food, i will say I remember it being tastier but now it seems like they care less about the quality of the food. It's not terrible but it could use some work.
The food is adequate but nothing special. But the parking lot needs to be repaved before one of the potholes swallows a car and they have to send in the rescue teams. Also, note to the owners, your website is partially broken. Only about a dozen items show on the menu.
Food is pretty good. They give u a good bang for your buck. I'm not a big Chinese food eater but my wife really does so. Take out only...
The shrimp li mein i bought was ok but noticed didn't have many shrimps though.and they have sm so. And large i bought lrg.for bout 14.
The food had some great portions but it seemed like it was just warmed up and was very very hot which isn't good because of the plastic container. The service was quick but the atmosphere was not the best to sit down. Would maybe consider trying again. Wouldn't order the shrimp lunch special
Both my orange chicken & rice were scorched. The burnt taste was awful. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff was nice. I will not be returning.
Credit card machine supposedly wasn't working. Food mediocre at best, although there was plenty of it. Brought appetizer at same time as entree. Obviously don't know how to run a restaurant. I'm sure there's better Chinese food out there that won't break the bank.
Although they do give you a TON of food and service was fast and pleasant, I would not recommend. Firstly, the smell of a mop and bleach was so strong when i first walked in, it was more than a little alarming and off-putting. But it could've been just because it was close to the end of the night, so I overlooked it. However, the "chicken" in the chicken fried rice was "suspicious" in my opinion and experience with chicken fried rice. I don't know if it was old, a pork/chicken blend or what but it was not good! As for the house egg rolls, I'd have to agree with another reviewer, it tasted weird. I spit it out IMMEDIATELY! I will say the fortune cookie was ON POINT though!! Small wins - count them! 😏
I ordered the poo poo tray for my appetizer, Seafood combo basket for my entree, and dessert cheesecake for delivery I called the order in at 3:35 p.m. and the food didn't arrive until 5:16 p.m. so I checked my food before the delivery driver left to see if my order was complete and sure enough they forgot the cheese cake so my order was $17.70 I gave the driver the $20 and told him to keep the $2.30 for his tip and he said he would bring me back the cheesecake so I go to eat and taste the food not only is it cold but it was hard and not fresh I called them and told them I need to speak with the manager I spoke to someone and let them know that the food was cold and it didn't taste good and I wanted my money back I didn't want the food and my $20 and I gave them the food back I will never order from them again.
I love Chinese food and have had my share but I tried this place for the first time based on the ratings. I was totally disappointed. The pups tray was awful. The meat was dried out, over cooked, the wontons and the eggroll were greasy and soggy. The chicken and vegetables was as dissappointing. The fried rice was way too greasy and I had one piece of broccoli, one piece of carrot and a snow pea and the rest was all onions. Will never eat there again.
Ordered them in doordash. Food was average. They put the wings in a very very thin paper pay so when I got ready to eat them, they were cold and soggy. BEWARE: I got really really sick and bad food poisoning after eating here. Never again.
I went there yesterday I used to enjoy their food indoors a while back but the taste was terrible the steamed rice didn’t taste NOTHING like steamed rice at all! The rest of my order yeah it wasn’t like before it was very bland I don’t think I’ll go back
The curry is absolutely horrible. I picked out the chicken and snow peas to eat with the white rice and there was barely a bowl full even though the time bowl was 3/4 full of rice to begin with. What was left on the plate was enough veggies to feed an army but absolutely no curry sauce. Also it had no spice to it AT ALL. I eat curry every chance I get and this was probably the worst I've ever had. It tasted like a $.15 ramen chicken flavor pack mixed with water into a paste with some salt added for good measure.
Went drive thru and ordered 4 items. Only recieved 3 items. Got all the way home and noticed one item missing. When I call the, the manager tells me I'm wrong and he counted all the items. I tell him I just what I paid for. I says fine come back and pick it up. When I get there he then tells me he made a mistake. Would not give me name or number of owner. Very unprofessional and they put dirt in my food. Please dont go here.
My husband and I thought we found a gold mine in this place the first time we ordered. The crab rangoon were awesome, servings huge, service fast, and decent prices. We ordered again last night for the first time in a couple of months and were so disappointed. The rangoons had little to no filling inside, the "fried rice" was just brown rice, we weren't at all impressed with the quality in general. Maybe the "Help Wanted" sign is a clue, this place is running on bare minimum staffing and food quality is suffering for it. Oh well. Maybe we'll try it again in 6 months and see if it's improved.
Horrible place. DO NOT EAT HERE.. Not GENUINE ASIAN FOOD. Food is disgusting. Also honestly if you have everybody going to the drive thru especially working people who are PICKING UP. Where the food is already supposed to be made for you to get in and out why would you make them go through the drive thru and the line is literally touching the street....? Also you have a man I'm guessing who is the owner who is incredibly rude! Right when you walk up he shoos you away with his hand and throws his hands up at you. Horrible representation for your business will not be coming back at all.
Worst egg foo young I have ever had in my life, worst fried rice I’ve ever had in my life 17.00 and not going to touch another bite. The people that work here need to travel to Rockford IL and go to wong Wong so they can see how it’s done. I’m so flabbergasted.
For what I paid for my meal at this place, you could literally eat at any Chinese restaurant you want, and it wasn’t good at all by the way, if you could make it to Pei Wei or Panda Express you better off going because it’s over prices for some mid food and my dog wouldn’t even eat it.
I’ve had plenty of diffrent fried rice and I must say today i stopped for the first time and it will be my last !! The fried rice I ordered tasted old meat look like from a day before for 10.50 a combination fried rice you’d expect better and fresh he’ll even pieces of chicken looked raw smh .. want a good fried rice go to china bowl express on Jupiter by far no competition.
A disgrace food was delivered inedible…. Supposed to be Shrimp and beef egg foo young that part that really get’s me is who inspected the food before preparing it to be sent out as a delivery and thought it was suitable…. I do not recommend this restaurant period!!! If I could give zero stars I would
Here’s the deal: this place has amazing food and it’s really cheap, but if you ever want to order, they will either not have a driver or they will not deliver to somewhere that is within their supposed 2 mile radius. Specifically, if you live in downtown, do not try to order, you will have to fight them and argue about how far you live. There is always a reason that they cannot do delivery. I have always left a good tips in hopes of getting them to deliver to my location, but it is always a pain. Do NOT attempt delivery from here if you do not live in a single family home in east Dallas. If you want to go in, go ahead, the food is good. Not worth the hassle though.
I ordered 1 small chicken fried rice and 1 shrimp fried rice. I had one small request: I wanted the shrimp container marked because my wife is allergic to shellfish. Not only didn't they mark the container, I received 2 SFR !! Food allergies are serious, life threatening conditions and when I went back to exchange it was told that's what I ordered...IF I ever go back I won't be as stupid and check every single thing. I'm sorry I haven't done this sooner...THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST TAKE OUT PLACE IN DALLAS...DO NOT EAT ANYTHING FROM HERE!! ZERO FLAVOR. DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE AFTER EATING HERE ????? IT IS THE WORST EVER... FOUND SOME SORT OF BUG IN THE SHRIMP FRIED RICE. I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE CALLING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT MONDAY MORNING !! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE
Update: Unfortunately I have to update my review as of 2/26/24. I placed an order and paid for it online at 8:22 and was intending to pick it up by 9pm. I received a call at 8:36pm from Brian. He said, “Just to let you know, today we are closing at 8:40 and we hope you can make it in time to pick up your order.” I was already on my way but I stepped on the gas since apparently I was now in a hurry. I got to the window and asked for my order. I had tried to add a side of sweet-and-sour sauce to my order online, however, there was no option to add it, so I simply asked in the special instructions, of course, stating I would pay any additional cost upon pick up. Brian stated it would be a dollar for the sauce and asked how many I would like. I asked for one and handed my card to him. He said he could not use a card under $5. I asked if perhaps the sauce could be included with my order seeing how they couldn’t take my method of payment and they also were closing early without warning. He became combative and acted like this $1 side of sweet and sour sauce was the end of his prolific career at the Eggroll Hut. I work in food service myself and I definitely don’t treat my customers this way. If customers are such an inconvenience, maybe this isn’t the place for him. When they forgot my sweet and sour sauce on the order mentioned in my original review, this same person told me they actually were open until 9:30 to fulfill orders placed at the last minute. It’s 8:49pm and their online ordering system is still on and ready for unwitting customers to place and pay for orders they cannot pickup. Original review: The food was super fresh, order was ready quickly. They forgot my sweet and sour sauce but I live nearby so it was no big deal. And holy cow am I glad I went back for it. That’s got to be some of the best sweet and sour sauce I’ve ever had. Bbq pork fried rice and lo mein was great! The orange chicken was a little bready but still great big chunks of chicken and the sauce was great. I am happy to have this as my nearby Chinese takeout place, they hit the mark.
Food was disgusting - this is the third time I’ve been and before it was pretty ok. Not sure what was going on today..the rice was old, the chicken tasted freezer burnt, my hot oil sauce was black, and the egg roll was a little too crunchy - not sure what I was eating. Overall - horrible!
This place is going down I order a meal for my lunch 30 minutes prior to my lunch break which they told me it only takes about 15 minutes they end up making wait about 10 minutes when I went there pick it up so the total time they spend is more than 45 minutes to get my food ready beside when I opened my food it has a shrimp which wasn't a part of my order at all. The food don't taste good no more; the lady who took my order she thinks it's okay for wasting customers time. Such a poor customer service @ place; I won't call it a restaurant at all.
Bad attitude, food is nasty and the place stinks horribly.
I called my order in and it was wrong. Bought a large General Tso Chicken and they gave me about 10 pieces of meat. I request extra spicy, it's not spicy at all and tastes horrible. I've eaten here many times before and had a great experience but this time it was terrible. Then to top it off the prices online do not match what you are being charged. It's wasn't expensive but there is a proper way of doing things. Sad, not sure if I will go back😕😕😕
This was the most disgusting meal I have ever had. The rice was barely fried so it was light brown not fried. The crab raggon was so sweet it taste like it was filled with syrup, not seasoned at all. The fries I ordered was stale and cold and un edible trashed. If this is a Chinese cook, clearly they we're not taught how to cook food at all. I would give negative stars of I could. Never will I ever eat or order from this place again. Wasted money, now I have find something else to eat. The reviews most have been faked.
Since I tried to review them and provide feedback on Doordash and they pay to either get it removed or not published I'll post it here: Their food is soggy, nasty and flavorless I order fried wing and they came loose in the shopping bag, soaked in whatever juice (I ordered rice and wings, so your guess on where thise 2.5 cups of juice came from is as good as mine! My Dasher even said "be careful I think the soup spilled!"). If you try to do any of their food at home it's 10x more flavorful and 10x cheaper. And yet they keep coming up on Doordash as "suggested based on my previous order"! Really? After two 1 star reviews and a 2 star review? Lmao give me a break
Found 4 small ROCKS in my food. Ordered a simple shrimp & broccoli and found 4 rocks. At first we thought it was a type of dark spice but were to hard to break. The black ones had sharp corners and could of definitely broke skin, the fourth rock was white and shiny. I got it in the drive thru. Not sure if they don’t rinse their veggies or malicious. Thank God I didn’t break anything. This was my second time giving this place a try and definitely disappointed and surprised.
Worst Chinese food I've had. First, the food doesn't come in pints or quarts, which I'm surprisingly finding is common for Chinese food in Dallas. They offered a side of steamed or fried rice, which is common. But for their fried rice, it's literally the steamed rice fried. No veggies, no eggs, nothing. The orange chicken was okay, but soggy and not crisp. Only positive was the price and free parking. To say they've been around since the 80's is disappointing. 40 years of lackluster food.
The worst food I have ever eaten. The egg roll tastes like it was freezer burnt. The sesame chicken had a very little seeds and tastes just like the general sao chicken. I would never visit again and will call code compliance to take a visit
Wanted to do a Chinese takeout night with my family figured we'd try this place out. We ordered szechuan chicken, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken. Pretty basic stuff for Chinese takeout. The sauce for the beef and broccoli and the szechuan chicken is just basically oil. Absolutely no flavor, no spice, nothing. The Rangoons are hard as a rock. The sweet and sour/orange chicken is decent. But the rest of our food is just terrible. I hate posting this negative review, especially on a fellow service industry business. But this is possibly the worst Chinese takeout I've ever had. Hopefully someone reads this and doesn't waste a pile of money the same way I have. Hopefully the owner reads this and figures out what the heck is going on in their kitchen. Food is expensive. For everyone. Businesses included. I spent $150 on garbage. You could have tried. Wish you all the best, hopefully you can stick that $150 into your payroll and train someone in your kitchen to actually cook decent food for a few hours.
It was my favorite spot for over 6 years. It seems like in the last 6 months, there's new management because I haven't seen the regular guy there in long while. anyway, pay attention to your recite. The amount they charge isn't the amount they quote on the phone. I have stopped supporting this place, this has been happening since the new people took over and I finally called them out on it, they had no response as to why the price is not the same as quoted.
Please be careful when getting foos from here the food is nasty and i think they know that. Didn’t give a receipt and when you call back act like you dont cant find you receipt and rude about it.. Food is. 1/10 for sure under cooked old and bad taste
Updated to reflect new food quality and poor service Previous: TAKE OUT ONLY! I used to order the shrimp fried rice with 2 shrimp rolls but even a regular is too large of a portion for me and it’s not on the daily happy hour menu. I started ordering from the happy hour menu and I’ve had shrimp with broccoli and beef with broccoli. Comes with a beef egg roll and rice - I made the mistake of getting fried rice without asking any questions and it was literally fried rice without veggies- now I get steamed rice. My partner always gets General Tso Chicken happy hour special which he loves.
I’ve only visited this place twice and it’ll be the last time… If you value your health stay away from this restaurant. When you walk into the restaurant it looks like this family has given up. It also smells like someone has died in there. they are nose blind to the disgusting sewage smell in the building and health inspector needs to make a visit.
Made a order on door dash and wanted sweet and sour sauce but no option to purchase or add. So I call the shop to ask them to include. They charge $1. No option for me to pay it through the phone so i asked for extra duck sauce. manager was yelling and mad saying they charge extra 40 cents for duck sauce with no option for me to pay over the phone. Which is WILD. it's just duck sauce. Food was very bland when received
Made me sick. Asked for hot sauce after my order and they charge 25 cents for it and can’t run a c card for less than three bucks. ….. didn’t care to give me free sauce…
This food was the WORST Chinese food I have ever had!!!! The fried rice was so bland no vegetables no seasoning hated it!!! Omg I wish I could leave 0 stars such a waste of money. The general chicken tasted like frozen chicken nuggets and the sweet and sour sauce taste like they watered it down. The chicken wings were bland. I’m so upset! Yall lied & said this place was good!!
This place had horrible food. The general tso chicken is horrible! The orange chicken is not good but a little bit better than the general tso chicken but not by much, both of them were an epic failure. We were looking forward to our meal and were completely disappointed. Plus it was a bit onthe pricier side for the portions, they weren’t as big as they should have been for the price and then they were skimpy on the soy sauce. They said it was in the bag and we looked and one little measly packet was in the bag packed full of our food. Multiple entrees and multiple sides and only one packet of sauce ?? So we had to get out and knock again and ask AGAIN for the sauce. Never coming back here, the food was in all honesty not good at all and not worth the money.
First and Last time. I’m new to the area and we were in the mood for Chinese take out. I found this place online. I placed my order with ease and scheduled my pickup. I arrived at the time I was supposed to and they hadn’t even accepted or entered my order…so I had to wait. I almost walked out. The restaurant was disgusting, nasty and dirty, rundown, and very unkept. I just told myself I will try anything once cause sometimes good food comes from bad places. Then I noticed their health inspection was posted and there was a sign saying you can request it. Last time I checked it had to be posted. Again I just brushed it off. I finally got my food and headed home. Upon unpacking it the cashew chicken was very nasty and slimy and smelled like spoiled meat so we decided no to eat it. The egg rolls were hot on the outside and cold on the inside. The egg drop soup looked and tasted like snot. Then the kicker was the fried rice had a bug in it. At that point I was done and just said heck with it. This was the far worse experience I have ever had and not to mention it was $45. I don’t plan on going back. I just will dispute my charge and plan on calling the health department. Total train wreak. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
While the house egg rolls were decent, they were very small, and the General Tso’s chicken was greasy, flavorless and not fresh, along with the fried rice being undercooked in parts so much so that it was crunchy. Definitely won’t be returning here, oh well $16 lesson well learned and hopefully will help someone else.
I live close here and I always drive-by. I never stop by. I decided to stop by and get some food. Everything look pretty well priced and rounded out wrong. I ordered two plates and it came out to be about $30 at first, I thought nothing of it. I was like well maybe it's big portions wrong again. They're stingy As hell with their food and not only did they overcharge me, but then the Plates were not that big first of all second of all I ordered some sweet-and-sour chicken and I feel like I'm eating nothing but fried mush no chicken all Batter if I wanted to pay $30 I should've gone to Denny's or Somewhere else that's worth the money to Spend
Made 3 small steps very clear 1 no spicy as the food was for my little girls, they failed 2 fried rice with extra onions and bean sprouts, i got half cook empty rice, as a Chinese food establishment, half cooked rice is crazy 3 i ask for their red bbq pork, i ask if thats the one they serve, and they said yes. They said one thing and served another. I dont know how you called soy sauce pork bbq, but apparently, they do. For everybody saying this food is good, cook's very high in salt and apparently never had a better choice, Once again, they are very salty and overpriced for their location and, most importantly, the quality of their food.
This is horrible! This is definitely not chicken I order the General Taso’ chicken disgusting! Rice bad, egg roll greesy! I don’t eat cats , dogs, rats etc.. this is definitely gone start my NO MEAT journey! This how Dallas residents eat? I think I’ll start cooking at home! This makes me want to run/move back to Arkansas
