An excellent Mexican restaurant with a small cantina and full bar service to the restaurant. My Steak de res y camaron was delicious, cooked to perfection. The chips were freshly cooked and the handmade salsa was wonderful, flavorful, spicy with just enough heat. The grilled shrimp were delicious and fresh and the steak was tasty and tender. The former restaurant in that location was awful but El Tiburón is wonderful. Very casual and comfortable. Both Tex Mex and authentic Mexican food choices. I prefer authentic.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but seriously the best chips, beans and salsa that I've ever had... Amazing. Attractive lady tending bar also

I was super impressed by this place. Just driving by, feeling kind of hungry, we stop in for a quick bite. The house made tortilla chips were excellent. Well made, not too salty. The salsa was vibrant and on the hot side. But there was a complementary side of beans if the salsa was too much, which is what my girlfriend had. We ordered a pulpo tostada, a cameron tostada, and a mocajete tiburon. The octopus was not great, I'll say that now. Not the worst I've had by far, but kind of bland and rubbery. The sides carried that dish. The shrimp tostada was fine, but not inspired. The mocajete tiburon, THAT was inspired. Served in a burning hot stone bowl, it consisted of fajita meat layered with grilled onion and shrimp. And grilled jalapenos, which were frankly too much for my gringo palette, but lent an amazing flavor indirectly. You definitely need a spice heat tolerance to fully enjoy the foods served here. If you have that tolerance, though, you are in for a real treat. One of the best Mexican food places I've been to in a very long time.

I love their lunch specials, I had the beef nachos and my sister had the chicken nachos. This was her first time going, she said that she will be coming back.

I just ordered take out enchiladas but the menu was filled with great seafood options. I noticed several customers having the seafood soup which looked and smelled great. Would like to go back again for sure and have some of their specialties. Service was great

OMG! Coming from Oregon, and originally from San Antonio, this place was a breath of fresh air. The combination soup was delish and her red snapper super tasty as well. They load up the plate with as much food as you can handle. Definitely check this place out. 😋

Ordered the Parrillada Tierra y Mar, spanish equivalent of surf and turf, for two to go. It was outstanding. Had enough for a second day of great food. Short rib, skirt steak, sausage, chicken, dove, shimp sauted onions, peppers, yum! And we had Enchiladas de Camaron with red sauce, delicious. Restaurant was quiet. Thank you!

This place has absolutely fantastic food. Their 5.95 lunch fajitas are better than places that cost 20+. It is without a doubt the best Mexican food for the price. Its a hole in the wall you might over look when you drive by but its worth your time to stop in and give a try.

9/18/2020 Just like taking a trip to boarder town Mexico, very real and authentic. Very blue-collar workers' dive with mostly Mexican workers enjoying the end of the hard work week. There is even a lighted stage for Spanish Karaoke; and YES these men can sing beautifully ! (The bar-flies women wearing sizes way too small for their voluptuousness and true age at the bar coaxing for drinks the hard working Mexican laborers since they just got paid was amazing and entertaining to me. A slice of real life.) Excellent food, atmosphere, staff, professional manager, cook, waiter service. Very clean restaurant. Old fashioned 20th-century customer service like it used to be back in the day. (No fake artificial food with sodium, oils, nitrates, chemicals, preservatives, etc. Many restaurants use cheap fake cheese made from oils -- yuck.) Rejoice, Yes, El Tiburón Seafood & Grill uses quality REAL food; e.g., they cook with real cheese that is made from a cow's cream or milk - Awesome! Very good FRESH salsa and chips too. The shrimp cocktails were gigantic. The chile con queso dip was da bomb. The enchiladas had some ZING to them. The margaritas were light on alcohol but good taste. I loved the pina colada (just needed a fresh slice of pineapple.) This was my first venture to try something out of the ordinary and happily surprised. Thank you very much.

Wonderful Mexican food. Haven't tried any of their Seafood just yet. Kind of stuck on the Mexican food nice atmosphere service could be a little bit quicker though. Overall experience four stars. 😁

Food and service were okay. Too loud, couldn't hear the waitress or the people I was with.

I always go to buy Mexican products at the Supermercado Mexico and I saw this place in front of it, and I thought I would come to try it. We ordered Quesadillas with chicken, a hamburger and a tostada de camarón and a tostada de pulpo. I was totally disappointed with the taste of both tostadas, not good, the presentation was good though. The hamburger was fine, but it was really good is the quesadillas con pollo, the chicken is grilled, so it really tastes good! The ambiance of the place is not good in the day, I wonder if it has another vibe in the night, I came with my two children for lunch. I will not come back, buy if you go, ask for the quesadillas de pollo. The service was nice, not excellent but nice.

I ordered a large shrimp cocktail to go, I was little disappointed because it tasted like a large cup of watered down ketchup with medium size shrimp and I will say this they do put plenty of shrimp in the cocktail👍

The food is delicious thats what keeps me coming back. But the service is poor. Servers take forever to come by to ask if everything is okay and sometimes they don't come at all. They don't greet or smile JS

Great service but horrible wait time. Staff is not at fault that the management dobt want to hire more people to take care of The Subday Rush. But over all if you want to wait 30 mins for someone to take your order. I suggest call the manager and force her to stop being lazy and hire more people.

Huge fly on my drink to start off with. The food was pretty bad. We are really disappointed on this place. We always see how full it gets on the weekends and it turned out to be bad bad.

They don't speak English. Walked out. Didn't get to try the food. One sauce please

Be aware pay as you drink because they will charge you and your friends even after you already have paid it has happened to 4 of my friends so yes beware! PAY AS YOU DRINK!!!

I sat at that table for a while before anyone approached me. When I got my order to go,the food was kind of dry and I had bad stomach cramps the next couple of days. I have been here several times before and service was good..... Don't know what has changed....Disappointed

If I could give negative stars I would !! If you’re not Hispanic you will not get treated with respect at all! I’m a server for one and have over a decade in customer service . I never experienced being treated differently by another ethnic social group so this was very disheartening to experience. Up on coming into the place we were met with stares vs a greeting ; we were sat at a dirty table with dishes still on it even though there were 8-10 clean tables. We got sat and wasn’t asked for drinks … 5 mins later she brought chips and salsa have yet to introduce herself or ask for drinks & walked away . I looked at my friend and said I think we may be getting mistreated because of our skin color. After 10 minutes she finally comes to table but doesn’t ask what we want to order she just smacks her lips and tap her hand on the table . I ask for a bebidas ( a drink) and an appetizer . I spoke in Spanish just in case she didn’t understand English and that’s why she was being so rude but I honestly feel it was just prejudice. She walked away and 5 minutes passed by again and we still didn’t receive our drinks so at that point I’m so sad and upset that we leave. Obviously they don’t care because their people will patronize them but basic human respect is so important to me and I hate this establishment allows their workers to be so rude and disrespectful and I really hate I had to experience this treatment but it woke me up to how the world can be
