I was in the area for work and decided to stop in, and I’m very glad I did. The ambience is gorgeous. The space feels polished, inviting, and perfect for both a celebratory dinner or an elevated night out. My server, Minerva, was attentive, personable, and truly enhanced the experience with her thoughtful service. A manager (black gentleman, forgot his name) also came by to check on me during the meal, which I always appreciate and consider a strong reflection of hospitality standards. I started with a mocktail that was refreshing and well balanced. For my meal, I had the seafood soup followed by the Chilean sea bass. Both dishes had excellent flavor and were clearly prepared with care. My only minor critique was the temperature. The food leaned more warm than hot, but the quality and taste were still very enjoyable. I ended with the sticky cake for dessert, which was rich, satisfying, and a great finish to the meal. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience with standout service, beautiful ambiance, and flavorful cuisine. I would absolutely return and look forward to dining here again.
Recently had dinner at Evelyn and overall had a great experience. We were running late for our Saturday reservation and called ahead. The host adjusted our table time without any issue, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco and seated shortly after. It was a nice start to the evening. Service throughout dinner was attentive and well-paced. Our server checked in regularly without hovering. The atmosphere is lively, and the DJ adds energy while still allowing for conversation. For drinks, we had a Royal Prince 2022 Pinot Noir and a Celia Spritz. We started with the Calabrian Caesar, which had a subtle kick and was well balanced. The filet mignon was cooked properly, and the truffle tallow parmesan fries were flavorful. The only dish that didn’t stand out as much was the rigatoni alla vodka, it was decent, just not as memorable as the others. Before we left, they sent us home with a small caramel-filled chocolate, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a solid experience with good service and strong execution across most of the menu.
I celebrated my birthday at Evelyn and it was such a beautiful experience! The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning — the decor and ambiance make it perfect for special occasions and photos. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed and gives such an elegant, yet welcoming vibe. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, and the overall experience felt elevated without being pretentious. The atmosphere made the celebration feel extra special. If you’re looking for a gorgeous brunch or dinner spot in Dallas for a birthday or special occasion, I definitely recommend Evelyn. I would happily go back again!
We had a great dinner here recently. The place is massive. We sat in the Ruby room bar and lounge area at a table around the bar. We ordered a couple of cocktails and both had great flavor. My wife tried the Celia Spritz and I ordered the Old Hollywood. We started with the tuna sashimi. My wife ordered the sea bass and I ordered the steak frites. We also tried the au gratin potatoes. We both enjoyed our meals. My steak was cooked perfectly. Both entrees were great portions for the price. Our server was friendly and attentive. We will be back to try more of the amazing menu items.
The atmosphere was wonderful. Good for an intimate group or date night! While on the higher price end, the food is absolutely worth it, and there are many shareable items. The cauliflower is one of my favorite items. The staff was helpful and accommodating.
I visited EVELYN for the first time this past Thursday with my husband to celebrate our last big "date night" before we become parents, and we were completely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel special. Our server, Sydney, was incredibly attentive and friendly and I’ll definitely be requesting her by name when we return! The food was spectacular across the board; we loved the calamari, cowboy ribeye, rigatoni, and both the chocolate decadence and crème brûlée cheesecake. The ambiance is to die for, and the layout is unique with so many different rooms offering their own vibe. A DJ started spinning around 9:00 PM. The vibe of this place reminds me of an elevated mix of Nick & Sam’s, Ladylove, Catbird, and Drake’s. If you love those spots, you will love EVELYN. This place is an absolute gem.
My first time here such a great experience, good food and aesthetic!! Our waitress and everyone else who came to our table and refilled our water was great! I love the ambiance we took great pictures they had live dancers by the bar! I had The crab mac n cheese and rigatoni chicken vodka very good and filling. Overall such an amazing experience!
Overall, had an enjoyable experience at Evelyn When you arrive, there is a small parking lot, valet only. It backs up a little bit but you can tell these guys are working hard to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Once inside, the hostesses are pretty much doing the same. We had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready but the waiting area is small but comfy. The place is very nicely decorated and the music is fun, upbeat and a little loud. You'll definitely have to speak up to be heard The service was great as was the food.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. YALL, I was just there last night to celebrate my birthday and the vibes did not disappoint whatsoever. If you're looking for a classy restaurant that can also go with the theme of a jazzy, low-lit atmosphere this is literally the restaurant for you. That was exactly the vibe I wanted for my birthday and it was so perfect, I couldn't have asked for more BUT THEN THEY LITERALLY MADE IT MORE😭! The food was absolutely divine the service was amazing; unfortunately I don't remember my waiter's name but he was so nice and such a gentleman. He literally helped make my experience perfect. I made reservations for my dinner and the transition from everything was so seamless. When you walk in they offer to take your Coats and you really start to feel immersed in the experience. I RECOMMEND MAKING RESERVATIONS but even if you don't the waiting area is still a place to take pictures. The drinks were amazing but what really made me love the restaurant so much what's the dress code. It went along with the classy elegant vibe that I had in my mind while also still having the jazzy laid back kind of feel, literally perfect. Me and my girls will 100% be back and I can't wait to be, thank you so much Evelyn! And shoutout to the valet, such gentleman helping make the experience great.
My second visit here was as nice as my first. ✨️ The food here is excellent and I love the decor (even in the restroom lol). I love the retro-hollywood vibe, and the "red carpet" walkway. Valet was complimentary which was an added plus. There was a bit of a wait between ordering and receiving our food (about 40mins-1hr or so during both visits). However, it is well worth the wait. The bread rolls and dip were tasty, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and most of the side dishes were delicious too. We were also greeted by a man named Fortune (maybe the manager), and he was very kind and made sure we had a nice experience.
Evelyn restaurant turns out to be a great option. It tends to be quite crowded, especially with young people, since it’s a very sophisticated and eye-catching place for taking photos—especially the restrooms, which are usually busy for that reason. The service is good, and I liked the food. What I enjoyed the most were definitely the cocktails. It’s worth visiting.
This evening (01/11/26) my daughter & I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment. I treated her to an early, pre-21st celebratory birthday dinner, before she heads back to school this coming week. First & foremost, the restaurant is so very aesthetically pleasing with its sultry, old Hollywood atmosphere (got a lot of IG worthy pics for her big day🥳) Secondly, the service was five-star all around! Hunter was our attentive waiter & he really went above & beyond with his top-notch professionalism, knowledge of both the menu & overall concept of the restaurant & his playful banter also; personality through the roof! Thirdly, was the food which did NOT disappoint whatsoever! We both ordered the filet mignon with bernaise sauce, the au gratin potatoes are DIVINE, along with the asparagus likewise! We literally didn’t have any room for dessert, but promised to return & request Hunter once more haha Furthermore, as a kind gesture, he got us complimentary shots after our meal (sans alcohol for my daughter of course, since she’s not quite 21 just yet LOL) Truly, thank you so very much for such an exquisite experience for us both & we look forward to dining here again!!!
My sister chose Evelyn's for her 35th Birthday dinner and when I say it did not disappoint! Beginning with the red carpet leading to the door (amazing). The hostess that took my coat (class @ its best). The server ( unfortunately I forgot his name), we'll just call him the Spanish lover. Older, tall and handsome 👌🏾. The service was magnificent and spectacular. Speedy, yet refined in all the right places. And let's not forget to mention the impeccable and stylish decor!! It was giving Studio 54 vibes all day. So classy! Also, the manager in the spiffy suit was delightful and charming nonetheless. We spent plenty of money and it was worth EVERY bit of it. I shall be returning on my own accord!
Took my daughter to Evelyn for a belated birthday dinner and celebrating her transfer to a new college. We were so lucky to have Brandon attend to us for the night. He was absolutely wonderful. He knew the menu. His timing was impeccable, meaning he didn't hover but was attentive to our needs throughout the evening. On top of it, Brandon facilitated an introduction to a couple of other guests sitting close to us that had major contacts at my daughter's new school. You hit the jackpot by hiring Brandon! Definitely worth the drive from Frisco. Re: the food - it was very good. The Calabrian Caesar was my favorite and the cocktails were amazing. The pastas didn't wow me but were still good. Cauliflower was a little too creamy for me. Was expecting to be more roasted. Look forward to retuning!
The food was amazing! My friends and I were so impressed by the appetizers that we almost ordered more lol We decided to go ahead and order main courses as well, and it did not disappoint! Our server, Thomas, was THE BEST. Very serious about the quality of service he gives, to where you can tell that he believes in old school top tier customer service. The decor was also very beautiful, old Hollywood vibes. We cant wait to visit again!
Had an amazing experience at Evelyn to celebrate my daughters' 30th birthday. The atmosphere was beautiful from the entry to the lady's room. Our server (can't remember his name but his Birthday is April 26 and he is a Taurus) He made the dinner so special with his great attitude and the knowledge of the menu. We all had steak, and they were cooked to perfection. All the sides (lobster mac and cheese and rolls) were delicious and can't forget the dessert!!! Lots of groups of women were there having celebrations....the vibe was sophisticated and elegant. It was so nice to see everyone dressing up for a fun night out. Would also be a great date spot. We were visiting from Houston but will be sure to make this a place we go when in Dallas!
I’m not over exaggerating when I Say this is the best restaurant I have been in years in Dallas typically Dallas restaurant is good with the aesthetics, but the food and service is trash. But here You won’t experience this we actually got seated at the time Of our reservation & The service was amazing. I was in room seven with the disco ball & OMG it was breathtaking the food was delicious. The drinks oh my God like everything I could ask for him more even the bathrooms was like top-tier. I really enjoyed the dancers that came out that was like the Highlight of my night, the valet works off Off of tips, but they was driving people cars, crazy they were speeding and just whipping them Any type of way. Typically, I don’t go back to restaurants in Dallas because it was nothing that was a Wow factor But I will be back here most definitely 10 out of 10 experience. I love it.
Tom was the best waiter ive ever had! give this man a raise!! but as well as every staff there was absolute sweethearts. The food is fairly priced for the service and experience, the ambience of the restaurant was beautiful especially as someone whos pretty shy and HATES overstimulating settings. Was super fun and enjoyable, id come back with an even bigger party just to share the experience. Multiple staff members came and checked on me while i was alone, conversing and made me feel right at home! 1000/10!
Evelyn had me at the damn Parker House Rolls babyyyyyy! When the beautiful rolls came out with multiple spreads, please and thank you. My girls and I tore them up!!!! This restaurant is extremely sexy. The restaurant, the different areas, the bathrooms, I mean every inch of this space is gorgeous. All around well-done. This restaurant is truly perfect for a girls night, celebration, or a date night. Also, the food matches the vibes. For Appetizers YOU HAVE TO ORDER the Parker House Rolls and the Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites. Just so good and tasty. I'm looking forward to going back to check out the cold appetizers. For Entrees The Ribeye & Sea Bass whew! So so good! The ribeye was actually perfect. Cooked to perfection, and seasoned so well. My girl ordered the Sea Bass, and we were all jealous. The Sea Bass is truly amazing, buttery, party in my mouth. Heads up, you may be hungry after eating the sea bass, so get you some sides. Some of my girls ordered the rigatoni, and this is what let us down the most. Not a fan of the hot honey on the pasta. We weren't aware that we could take it off, and probably would have done so. If you're into the sweet and spice, go for it, but we weren't into it. THE SIDES The ribeye mac and cheeeeeseeee, so yummy. We truly loved it! I can't wait to go back to Evelyn. We had a timeeeee. If you're into cocktails, get the Celia Spritz. Absolutely perfect!
Evelyn is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas — hands down! The food is absolutely amazing every single time. From the crème brûlée cheesecake to the steak and lobster mac & cheese, every dish is cooked to perfection. All the sides are delicious, and the steak sandwhiches? Next level! It’s a shame they took them off the happy hour tower because they were one of my favorites. Service is a 100 out of 10. I always ask for Eric — he’s hilarious, attentive, and makes every visit fun. The manager (I believe her name is Jennifer or Jessica) is also incredible. She always goes out of her way to make sure my experience is top-tier, and it truly shows. The Hollywood-themed atmosphere is stunning, elegant, and full of energy. It feels special without being pretentious. Valet is free, and the valet team is super nice and professional, which makes the whole night seamless from start to finish. The food here matches the price tag and the portions are perfect. I’ve been to a lot of places while traveling for work, but honestly, nothing has come close to the food, service, and overall experience I get at Evelyn.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Evelyn’s – Everything Was Amazing! We stopped by Evelyn’s in Texas and everything from start to finish was absolutely wonderful! I had the Steak Salad, and my husband ordered the Chilean Seabass with Shrimp — both dishes were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The steak was tender and juicy, the seabass was buttery and fresh, and the shrimp were seasoned just right. Every bite was a hit! Our server was so sweet and attentive, and even though I can’t remember her name (she was absolutely gorgeous and had such a warm smile!), she made the whole experience even better. From the food to the service and the cozy atmosphere, Evelyn’s definitely delivered a 5-star experience. We’ll be back next time we’re in town! 🍤🥩💫 ---
Evelyn easily earns 5 stars from start to finish. From the moment you arrive, everything about this place radiates sophistication and class. The sleek, modern exterior immediately stands out, and once you step inside, you’re greeted by one of the most beautifully designed interiors anywhere—warm red tones, gold accents, and elegant lighting that creates an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere. The service is absolutely top-tier. The staff is professional, attentive, and well-versed in the menu, making sure every part of the dining experience flows perfectly. The attention to detail here is unmatched—from how the napkins are folded to how each dish is presented. The food itself is exceptional. The appetizers are beautifully plated and bursting with flavor, the entrees—especially the steak—are cooked to perfection, and every bite tastes thoughtfully crafted. The desserts are a true highlight, both visually stunning and delicious, with creative presentation that rounds out the evening perfectly. Evelyn doesn’t just serve great food; it delivers an experience. Between the stunning design, impeccable service, and phenomenal food, this is easily one of the best fine dining restaurants in Dallas.
Overall AMAZING experience!! Henry was our server he was so friendly and attentive, and had great recommendations + great conversation. Our cocktails were amazing the seasonal cinnamon apple martini & old Hollywood need a special mention. We had the wagyu cheesesteak bites and calamari both were excellent. The vodka rigatoni, steak (seasoned perfectly) and ribeye mac & cheese are a MUST. Great vibes, beautiful restaurant, and incredible experience!!
The service was a 100/10 everyone was super friendly and welcoming!! The restaurant is one of the most beautiful in all of the DFW, and usually with places that are aesthetically pleasing, the food is not food. This place is the complete opposite of that, all of our food was very tasty and extremely delicious. The chicken in the pasta was cooked to perfection and the mix of honey and hot brought it home. The ribeye mac and cheese was sooo creamy and the ribeye was also cooked to perfection. If you’re looking for a place that is super beautiful aesthetically, has AMAZING drinks, AMAZING food and waiters with amazing recommendations, come here!!!!
I really wanted to enjoy this place, but the experience fell short. The restaurant and ambiance are beautiful and absolutely amazing. The service was lacking, drinks took very long to arrive that we eventually cancelled them. Our server was polite, but seemed spread thin and there was a lack of attentiveness. The food itself was okay. We had the cheesesteak bites, sashimi & nigiri, steak, mac n cheese, and lobster linguine. For prices running over $40 per entrée, I expected a lot more in terms of flavor, presentation, and overall quality. It felt overpriced for what we got. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible meal, but between the slow service and the underwhelming food, it didn’t feel worth the cost. I hope they improve, but I’m not sure I’d rush back. Update: After my initial visit, management reached out personally, apologized, and handled everything with genuine kindness, so I decided to give the restaurant another try, and I’m glad I did. This time, the service was much smoother and more attentive. I also ordered different menu items and really enjoyed the dishes I tried; the flavors felt much more in line with the restaurant’s price point. It was a noticeably better experience overall, and I appreciate how seriously they took my feedback.
Starter- Evelyn Simple Salad 3/5 Tasted good nothing special. Entree- Prime Cowboy Ribeye 2.5/5 Claimed to be dry aged but definitely did not taste or have the texture of a dry aged steak. Nonetheless, the presentation was nice and the chef prepared it perfectly. Side- Truffle Tallow Parmesan Fries 3/5 Decent nothing special. Drink- Old Hollywood 3/5 nothing special. Overall 3/5 Nothing really stood out but at this price point every item should be exceptional but none of them were.
If you want to take pictures with your girlfriends this is the place. I mean they serve prosecco in the bathroom so that gives you an idea of what to expect. There are a few different areas in the restaurant that give off different vibes, but I feel like wherever you eat you’ll find what you’re looking for. The passionate kiss martini was super good and also comes with a little glass of prosecco which I thought was cute. The food I found pretty mediocre overall. The Parker house rolls with the different butter was really good though and I highly recommend.
Look - if you want to go to a place to see and be seen, this is the place for you. Go on and mingle and have a jolly good time. But if you want culinary excellence, I’m afraid this place is absolutely the place for you. The music was extremely loud when we went, making it difficult to talk. We had mentioned we were celebrating 2 birthdays, yet there was no indication of that on our table. Not a problem at all, but it was weird because the table next to us certainly did have fanfare items to celebrate their birthday. It also took us 20 mins to be seated despite having reservations. Now onto what we got: - WAGYU CHEESESTEAK BITES($18): $18 for 2 small bites!! Just absurd. Save your money and go to a local Philly spot. - BLUEFIN AHI TUNA CRUDO($26): pretty good - PRIME COWBOY RIBEYE($99): No. The crust was burnt and all we could taste was the char in many places. Also, extremely fatty cut. - MAINE LOBSTER LINGUINE($129): for the price, I was expecting quite the linguini, but unfortunately this ever lacked depth and flavor. - TRUFFLE TALLOW PARMESAN FRIES($16): Absolutely delicious side. - ROASTED CAULIFLOWER($19): this was alright. Desserts: - Crème brûlée cheesecake($15): I’m not the biggest cheesecake fan, but others enjoyed this. - Samoa Sundae($15): on the house and very kind of the restaurant. This was my favorite. Not just a basic scoop of vanilla. I truly wish our experience was better. This was simply subpar and not worth us visiting again.
