Hole in the wall kind of place very closed in but pizza is delicious and quick! Wings are juicy I recommend the pickle pizza!
Incredibly interesting pizza place. Small little hole in the wall, it gets REALLY busy at times, especially during bar hours. People are willing to wait an hour or more for their pizza here, and it is good pizza, I personally wouldn’t wait that long for any pizza but it is good pizza. Good food. Drinks. They’re a small shop in insanely high demand so you know they must be good. If you see them on a non crazy busy day, recommend trying it out and seeing the hype for yourself. Just be advised when they do get busy it’s really really ridiculously busy.
Arrived at 11am, when they open, and placed a large order of 5 pizzas and fried mozzarella. The staff was great and had everything ready in 30 mins. My only suggestion is that I tried to order ahead of time, but their online ordering system doesn’t allow for times earlier than 11:30. Ultimately that’s the time I left, so should’ve just picked that time. The staff mentioned they’ve had people pick up at 11 before so not sure how to do that. Highly recommend GREENVILLE AVE PIZZA CO.
Best pizza in Dallas, hands down! The crust at Greenville Avenue Pizza Co on Knox-Henderson is perfectly thin, super crispy, and has that awesome char. Pepperoni cups curl up and get greasy in the best way, and every topping tastes fresh. Grabbed a large Supreme, came out hot and fast even on a busy Saturday night. Worth every penny.
Amazing pizza I ever had in Texas and their pizza is very close to Boston pizza but still beats some Boston pizzas. This is the place to go if you want friendly service, great food and amazing atmosphere. Also Nick was so friendly and amazing!! Definitely recommend coming here and try their lunch special. Will definitely come again!!
My family and I LOOOVE this place. Their pizzas are truly delicious!! Not too salty (like pepperonis usually are) but have an AMAZING flavor. I love the thinness of their crust because it allows you to actually savor the flavor of the pizza without making yourself full from pure dough. And their CRUST. It’s always nicely toasted and delicious. They have SOOO many different flavor profiles to choose from AND they are open late which was a huge saver yesterday after a concert. Would definitely recommend!! I took it out this time BUT i’ve also dined inside and outside and the atmosphere is pretty nice as well!! Gives you retro vibes.
I absolutely love GAPC’s pizza it is SO delicious and it’s just a super authentic spot. The staff is always so so nice and accommodating and the atmosphere is fun and lively! The only thing is I WISH THEY WOULD HIRE THEIR OWN DRIVERS! Third party delivery drivers are just unreliable. GAPC cares about customer service but I’m not sure Toast (their delivery service providers) care. But GAPC itself is awesome and JAMES is a phenomenal manager!!
I came after dinner for my birthday and decided to pick up some to go, but decided to try a slice of their seasonal pickle pizza. The pizza here is phenomenal every single time! The staff? Omg the friendliest humans possible! shout out to ROBERT - made my night even better by making me feel xtra special!
I was in Lower Greenville and I was looking for a pizza by the slice restaurant. I stumbled up on Greenville Avenue Pizza Company . This place exceeded my expectation. The pizza slices were large, had great flavor, and I could fold them in half as if I was in a New York City pizzeria. This is Dallas best for pizza by the slice and I highly recommend this restaurant.
This place was great I ordered 2 single slices which are pretty big wait time was nearly nothing from the time o ordered to the amount of time I was sitting it had to be at least 6 mins or less pizza was great I even asked the waitress what she would recommend and she definitely did not disappoint I built my own pizza slice and she suggested the buffalo pizza slice and I actually liked the buffalo more then my own service is amazing very attentive to there customers and clean as well great environment amazing pizza I highly recommend this place but only think is parking there is free parking but just gotta be patient other then that definitely a good place to enjoy very delicious pizza oh and would recommend using the pizza crack seasoning it adds even more flavor I will be going back soon
Great, fast, hot pizza by the slice. Super thin, a favorite of mine. Piping hot, simple and yummy. We had basics, cheese, pepperoni and a chicken with mushrooms. All were very good. They have so many toppings and the fact that you can make any combo you like by the slice is pretty incredible. There are 2 slices of pizza to an order or you can of course get whole pizzas. Looks like they have calzones and a few other things too. We'll go back when we want some good, thin crust pizza.
5 Stars — A Pizza That Hits the Heart as Much as the Palate Greenville Avenue Pizza Company (GAPCo), Dallas, TX As an amateur pizza critic who’s tasted pies across cities and styles, I don’t usually walk away from a pizza place thinking about much beyond the food. But GAPCo left me thinking about the people, the vibe, and yes, that glorious Pizza Crack. Let’s start with the welcome. Our server, Wasim R., was not just kind—he was genuinely accommodating. One of our guests doesn’t eat certain meats, and instead of offering an awkward workaround, Wasim guided us to the 5 Cheese pizza—a delicate yet indulgent pie layered with a symphony of cheeses. Ricotta (or possibly whipped mozzarella) sits in soft, pillowy dollops across the surface like clouds after a summer rain. Wide flakes of aged cheese—likely parm or asiago—catch the light and your attention. No grease pools, no overpowering salt—just harmony. Then came the Butcher’s Revenge: a bold, meat-forward pizza with caramelized sausage and cupped pepperoni that crisps around the edges like it just whispered “bravo” in the oven. It’s a deep, savory bite, with the Maillard magic you only get from quality ingredients cooked hot and fast. But this isn’t just a place that knows its oven. Outside, a homeless man waited quietly. They served him food and a drink—like it was regular customer. Later, while visiting the Boulangerie next door, we were told, “They’re always like that. Sometimes they bring us leftover pizza just to share it. Good people.” That’s not policy—that’s culture. That’s community. Inside the restaurant, the crowd was just as warm and eclectic: a woman—not sure, but she had a purse with a tiny little puppy inside—was coming out of the restaurant just as a group of teenagers were arriving. Families were laughing over slices, and someone nearby was clearly counting coins for a bite. No judgment. No rush. Just people being people—welcomed equally, fed generously. Now let’s talk crust—because wow, the thin crust here deserves serious respect. Visually and structurally, it’s the real deal: • Golden brown with light blistering, signaling a well-heated deck oven. • Thin yet firm, with clean slice integrity and just enough chew to hold toppings without sagging. • No signs of sogginess, no doughy centers—this is proper fermentation, proper rollout, proper bake. And finally—Pizza Crack. This silver shaker might look humble, but it delivers a flavor explosion: garlic, onion, herbs, salt, heat—layered like a secret family spice blend. You sprinkle it once and suddenly you’re addicted. Every slice after feels naked without it. So yes, the pizza is brilliant. But it’s more than that. GAPCo is one of those rare places where the food is only half the story—and the other half is generosity, dignity, and real community spirit. Bravo Wasim. Bravo GAPCo. You’ve reminded me what good pizza and good people can do together.
Omg !! Truly my favorite grab and go pizza place in Dallas. The staff are truly so nice and friendly, are constantly cracking jokes with the customers. They truly get you your pizza as quickly as possible, but with the best ingredients! I got a slice of the chicken spinach Alfredo pizza and I cannot say enough great things about how perfectly flavored everything was. Overall had a great experience and will be going back whenever I’m in the area!
Net was an amazing server! I highly recommend her 100 times over!!! Took care of everyone, amazing!!!

Perfectly baked, golden crust with a soft, cheesy center. Flavor on point, sauce on the side sealed the deal. Simple, satisfying, and done right. I'd order this again without hesitation.
Always a great experience here, came in at 2AM with the girls after a night out and we were greeted with smiling faces and helpful staff. The pizza is soooooo good
Great pizza and open late. Excellent crust, excellent sauce and high quality ingredients. Delicious.
so good service was awesome this worker was so amazing she made sure i had a great time
Great food, great service! Their slices are huge. Half pizza size. And the wait was not too long.
Great pizza. Their sauce is delicious. And they're generous with the toppings. Location is excellent, too, right in the heart of Lower Greenville.
The cashier is a dog lover. The place was clean and friendly AND thank heavens there is parking in the back AND AND a back door entrance. Pizza menu has some good original topping combinations and …

This is my 2nd time here. I ordered a classic cheese slice. For the price, I’m happy it came with two slices. The pizza crack seasoning or whatever it’s called is unique and tastes good. The atmosphere was pretty chill being lunch hour and wasn’t crowded compared to my last time in. From a native New Yorker who moved to Dallas, it’s nice to have a slice here and there. Definitely not an equivalent but a decent thin slice when I’m craving!
This place has pretty good pizza and huge slices so you get your money's worth. The employees here are patient and have amazing service. I ordered a large pizza and the spicy marinara penne. The pasta was ok I wish it had more sauce and seasoning but overall I would go back again!
The pizza was great and pipping hot. We went on the weekend so it was CRAZY busy but our order came out super quick and they brought it to the table. The location is small so seating is tight and parking can be a challenge but I definitely plan to go back. And definitely try the Pizza Crack!
took an hour to get my order and they also messed it up. pizza was still okay so there's that. slightly overpriced

We stopped here for a pizza and I assumed that because it was in Greenville where people claim to know about food and smelled as a pizza place should from the outside, that this would be decent pizza. In reality, I’m not sure I would even call this pizza, per se. it’s a crispy flatbread with topping on top, not Neapolitan pizza. The ‘Margherita’ I ordered was laughable, with tomato slices laid oddly on top of a completely flat base with no air bubbles in the cooked dough and the other pizza had so much honey added to a single slice that it pooled on the plate. I don’t think they used Fior del latte or Mozzarella but it had very little cheese pull at all. The crust had zero rise and was unpleasantly thin and crispy like a cracker. Only go here if you haven’t travelled widely (especially in Italy) and are comfortable with the flatbread style of pizza or you don’t know what constitutes good pizza. I have had far superior cooked from frozen pizzas than this, and this cost more than 35$ for a below mediocre 12” pizza and a slice. The people claiming this is the “best pizza” they’ve ever eaten (if it’s not paid promotion) is mystifying.

After my last 2 visit have gone downhill. Been a customer for 15plus years. About a month ago I bought some friends with me to eat at Gapco on Greenville after bragging about the pizza. Well, long story short I waited over an hour for my pizza just to be told it was given to someone else. No apologies were given by the employees waited another 30 mins. Today, my wife and I came to eat lunch. We were not greeted as we normally are, no they were not busy. The lady at the register was a short, petite Latina that seemed to not want to be at work. We ordered 3 slices and 2 drinks total was almost $35. One of the slices I ordered was a chicken Alfredo slice. When I received the slice it had red sauce and piled with spinach, mind you the spinach wasn’t even cooked, looked like a salad on a slice of cheese pizza. I have order this pizza before, but as the whole pie. This slice looked nothing like what it’s supposed to. The same lady who took my order was the same lady who brought my slices out to me. I told her “I’m sorry, I didn’t order this, it’s supposed to have Alfredo sauce. She said “oh you wanted the Alfredo sauce” I said “yes” she took the slice back in squirted some Alfredo on top of the slice and put it on my table. I said “ma’am, this is not what I ordered. It’s supposed to have white sauce not red. She proceeded to tell me “that’s how it’s made when you order a slice” with an attitude. I replied with “well that would have been a good thing to mention when I first paid $9 for a SLICE! She said “you want your money back?” I said “yes” she went back inside then came back out and said “what kind of slice do you want instead?” I guess at this point she changed her mind on refunding me for the slice. So just to keep things cordial I asked her for a pepperoni slice. I say all this to say, the customer service has gone downhill as of lately. And I probably won’t be back. Mind you I drive 45 mins to come eat at Gapco when I do. And that’s atleast once a month.
I’ve loved GAPC since forever but lately the pizza has been burned and not hot when I finally get it. Today’s order, which I placed at 4:00 took an hour and 45 minutes. That’s insane. When I ate in the store not too long ago the staff were kinda rude. I’ll tell you what’s rude - having an NYC attitude while slinging mid pizza. I hate to say this but never again. Such a shame because GAPC used to be great.
Once one of my favorite places to get pizza the service is horrible if your ok waiting 45/ hr for pizza then maybe your ok! There outta order (bad) don’t be mad if 7/8 people get there pizza before yours , today my pizza just got lost in the sauce twice?!!! !! #421 they skipped it have time remake ( then what I’m do with cold fries a hr before pizza even came!!? people have came , ordered, ate left and I’m still waiting !! It’s so rude I wanna see how long they will go or even apologize ! Horrible
We ordered a pizza tipped cash and received the wrong pizza, ate a slice before realizing it was the wrong pizza then told the white male up front that we received the wrong pizza and waited 30 minutes then went up to the cook and asked where the pizza was and were told our pizza was “tampered with” and they had “pissed off customers who didn’t recieve their food” as if we weren’t customers at all. We were told we could reorder the pizza and the white male told us we could just leave. The woman up front although equally as frustrated with the situation handle it respectfully and placed a new order for us. Years of coming here and I’m disgusted with the lazy staff they’ve accumulated.
