While sonic is one of my favorite drink stops, sometime they piss me off so much. So today I ordered a dr Pepper with Powerade and lemonade or the dr pepper orgasim so when I ordered it I told them five time what to put in it five! Then when I brought it out it was a medium but I ordered a large then when they brought it out again they gave a just a regular lemonade. Usually I'm not this pissed when someone messes up my order, but this is just ridiculous!
The Sonic app is one of the best things that ever happened to me all drinks are always have price order it on your phone not only is it ready by the time you get there and you don't have to wait but it's half price sonic always has the best drinks
It was just great the service and the food...we came to Lubbock from Amarillo for the day to do some shopping after a very long day me and my wife were starving neither of us knows a lot about Lubbock and where to eat so we decided to just stop at sonic and call it a night to both of our surprise it was actually very very good we would definitely go back...and that's saying alot considering all the sonics in amarillo suck and i refuse to eat at any of them....THANK YOU LUBBOCK SONIC YOUR FOOD WAS DELICIOUS

Quick service, great tasting food, and I ordered ahead and used the app. I pulled up to the location, entered my stall number, and I was out of there in less than 5 minutes.
Strawberry lemonade was just what I needed to quench my thirst after a day of shopping. It had delicious pieces of strawberries and just the right amount of tartness
Burgers were good, they gave me tator tots though instead of onion rings but did not complain just ate the tator tots instead, but other then that food was delicious.
The worker messed my drink upl and I asked the guy if he would add carnal to my drink to make it taste better and he brought me out an entirely new larger drink that tasted better than ever. Love the happy hour and quick service.

The Super Sonic cheeseburger is very good. Unhealthy but good. I think they had to have more healthy things. But if you want to know what to get with a combo, get the cheese tots instead of french fries.
This is one of the quieter Sonic's in Lubbock for being on a busy corner. The order taker was nice and answered all questions with ease. Food was hot and drinks cold. Tasted great.
Quick stopfor food before going home from long day out and about with shopping and doing errands. Was an easy, quick in and out and on the way home. Personnel were courteous and quick in their response with the order.

I placed an online order and my vehicle died as I was pulling into the sonic entrance. It wouldn't turn on at all, not even the hazard lights. I called the sonic to let them know that I was blocking the entrance and some really awesome workers came or to help me. 3 of them came and helped me push my vehicle to safety. If it wasn't for them I couldn't been in an accident. They were amazing and deserve some recognition for being not just great workers but for being good people. This was hands down the best sonic experience I have had. Thank you
They were great. I ordered on the app. And had to call the store, because I had a special request. When I pulled up to the stall and checked in. I got my food in less than five minutes. Was still hot when I got home. Awesome job guys!!!!
After 20 years as a Sonic Operating Partner I moved to Lubbock, and would just get so mad at the other Sonics in town for screwing up something so easy. Today was Sonic Perfection! First time at this Drive In and I am so flippin happy I chose this location today. Flawless perfection. The food was HOT, FRESH, and FAST! Thank you! I appreciate you, keep up the GREAT work! One morning I had order a breakfast burrito that wasn't really good. I had called the manger to let them know, and she instantly tried to make everything better for me. She was even willing to deliver a new meal to me at work. I did go back and get a new meal and she especially made it herself for me. This is what it means to go above and beyond for customer service! She is one amazing manger and I sincerely appreciate it!
Clean establishment and great costumer service! I stopped by the other night and was missing a part of my order, but Madison was very professional and handled the situation appropriately. I received the replacement item when I stopped by today and the employees were fantastic. Highly recommend this Sonic!

I love the half priced drinks when ordering in app! I can bring my grandchildren, and my grown children, we all can enjoy a cold drink in this heat for less than anywhere else I know! There's a great selection, and they are sooooo good!! Usually doesn't take long either!! We love our Sonics! Especially ours on 34th St!!

It's sonics nothing special food is always hot n tasty and the beverages are always cool and refreshing. Try my favorite a grilled cheese add bacon and tomatoes
Sonic is iconic always a good choice if your wanting well anything they almost have it or not but it's always decent or not it's a overall get food and place to almost wreck your car bc it's so busy got to love it ........
Probably just bad timing. I've ordered Reese's Sonic Blasts all over the state and this one was the worst of the bunch. Ice cream very soft. Cup was not full. Was still good though
I hardly have a bad experience at this sonic. My order is usually 85% correct, which doesn't bother me personally. I'v had worse experiences at other sonics, and the customer service is also very decent. It depends on the car hop you get, some of them are extra nice and some of them are very quick to get away from you. In the top 3 Sonics in town.
I live literally next door to this sonic. they have done great every time I've been there. Short of my order being messed up a few times, they actually fixed it without asking any questions. Also, ordered their jalapeno chocolate shake, they used pickled jalapenos, never ok for something like that. And the jalapenos weren't diced up, they were in the rings still. needless to say I was almost sick when I bit onto the first jalapeno.
A few of the buttons on the machines don't work, so I had re park twice. Food was on point and people were super friendly.
I like that I can use the app to order and I get happy hour prices on drinks. I have always really liked Sonic and their drinks ice cream, food. I mean everything is amazing. I really like the fact that they now carry Big Red and the evening custom order anything from your burger to your drink to your ice cream they have just about anything and everything to put in it #lovenit #Sonicfood
They make the best All Natural Strawberry Lemonade of all the Sonic locations. The drink is actually pink instead of clear because they actually put enough strawberries that you can see and taste. Oh, yeah! Almost forgot to mention that the service is great too!

This is the second time I've ate at a Sonic and I ordered onion rings and they have a vanilla taste to it. Like they deep fry their Oreo cookies and other stuff that sweet in that fryer sucks
It's a decent Sonic the kids taking the orders talk way too fast, and they sometimes get my order wrong. Overall they're friendly and cheerful and try to get your order out quickly

I go to this location often. The service is usually unremarkable either way.....until Yesterday I ordered a pretzel with mustard & no cheese, a med popcorn chicken, a large water with extra ice, and a Route 44 Coke. They brought the order with no mustard. I asked for mustard & the guy brought me back honey mustard dip for the chicken. I had to send him back for just regular mustard ( 3rd request). The chicken was barely warm & old. I didn’t have time to wait for a re-order as I was headed out of town & running behind. I got almost out of town & picked up my water to take a big drink only to find it was a Sprite!! Needless to say we was not happy. I sure hope that was an isolated incident.
I've never been a big fan of sonic's food, I went there more for their drinks, especially their Cherry Limeades. But over the last few years something has changed about the limeades for the worse. I'm not sure what is, maybe the ice? Definitely the ice is part of it but there is more, just not sure what it is. I don't know if this is a problem with Sonic or just the local franchise. Their service is good, I like that I can order and pay from my phone, but the kiosks never seem to be well maintained and always a little wonky. I had to press the button several times to get it to work. This seems to be a problem at all sonics for some reason. Maybe people abuse the kiosks or they just aren't aware when they are having problems. To be fair I didn't mention it to them either. So they might not be aware of the issue. So that is partially on me. I stayed in my car for the entirety of the transaction so I can't speak to the rest of the place. But it looked overall clean and well maintained minus the kiosks. I only gave them three stars because of the declining limeade quality and the wonky kiosks.
The drinks are good.....the one problem is not getting the order correct....too many times we have driven off from the drive thru with the wrong order or messed up order. The last few times we have ordered food it was not very freshly made....it was like it had been sitting under a warmer for quite a while....the order was warm on the outside but cold inside.....just not up to the standard of other Sonic Drive In's that we have visited ....like in Carlsbad, Lovington, Lubbock and other places.... Also we tried ordering thru the App and were unable to get our order in. We were told this Sonic was not accepting Online Orders....when we asked the staff at the drive thru window we were told that the Online App crashes often. They said there was nothing they could do about that.....
So I love this sonic and they stay busy. I just feel like the steak sandwich really needs to be chopped up on the grill like the pictures all show. When you just cook it on both sides and serve it as shown in the pics... Well, just check it out for yourself.
Messed up my entire order. The girl taking the order was rude but let me tell y’all, your carhop Kason saved me from really complaining. Kason is an outstanding carhop , my husband said he will continue to come to this sonic if always get Kason, he loves his service! If every sonic has a carhop like that it would be amazing.
My order was simple , two large Cokes extra ice, Red Bull specialty drinks and a sonic blast . Turns out any of the blast ingredients that I wanted were on The top of the blast and that was it. My order was made quickly and delivered with a friendly attitude. But I expected more from an item that is advertised on my phone app.
Half the time they don't get the order correct and the other half the customer service sucks and they can't count money! But the food is good more often than not!
Ordered a banana shake and pretty much all it was was plain vanilla ice cream. I ordered my son an oreo cheesecake ..looked more like a plain ice cream with a few tiny specks of oreo crumbs. Very disappointed!
Car hop couldn't count out 75 cents in change so my wife let her keep it. Charged and delivered a sonic sized combo without asking for it. Wife asked for honey mustard and their response... 25 cents!! Since when do you charge for this crap?? She bought an 8 dollar combo and you want to charge her 25 more cents?? Ridiculously rude service!! Will be notifying corporate headquarters.
Great drinks and the food is ok. Service is SLOW even during off hours. Accurate orders is a big problem here. There are plenty of other Sonics. Avoid if you can't get to the others.
It took them 3 times and over 15 minutes to get a Jr burger, plain and dry with cheese, right. Also, no matter what sonic, if you ask for a drink with light ice, they will give it to you full of ice.
i live on Aberdeen Ave and 52nd, literally a block away and refuse to go to this location anymore; i thought oh ill give another chance a few times but every time i went they messed something up. once i ordered a strip kids meal with tots for my son and received a burger with fries, another time i stopped only for an order of fries and they were luke warm and tasted disgusting, the burgers are always sloppy and i noticed that on the little screen they mark your order as being delivered long before your food is ready so i bet corporate thinks they are so awesome
Went to get my grandkids a #1 Burger meal. First off, they took a good 10 minutes to answer the intercom. Then, all it was, was a plain burger, ketchup only. Easy right? Well they messed it up. I pushed the button to ask them to please replace the burger, only they never responded after 15 minutes of waiting. So I got out of my car, went inside to ask tgem to correct my grandbabies burger only to see around 12 people standing around doing nothing. They looked shocked when I spoke! Then they asked me to please wait outside that they would bring it. That took another 10 minutes. I'm sorry, but I will not be returning to this location on 50th & Slide.
Last night and I friend and I came to this sonic and I usually don’t come to this sonic because there are others closer to my house. But since I was meeting a friend we met in the middle of where we both staying. We ordered a Powerade with cherry and a water with strawberry fruit. I doubled checked when I ordered that I want the strawberry fruit NOT the syrup. After ordering the credit card machine didn’t work on the stall which is no huge deal but it’s an inconvenience. Upon getting our drinks BOTH were wrong. The water definitely had the strawberry syrup and the Powerade was just off and it was carbonated which Powerade is not. Overall will not be coming back to this location.
I love Sonic but very disappointed this time! I ran to Sonic for a quick bite. Returned to office only to discover plastic in my BLT. Looks like piece of lettuce package. Didn't eat the rest as do not know what else could be in there. Didn't have time to go back or simply leave to get any other food. I took a picture, just in case.
A big fan of the restaurant as a whole but man... this location struggled at every phase of the experience tonight. Ordered onion rings (which tasted strangely sweet), fried pickle spears, jumbo popcorn chicken, a Dr. Pepper, and a bag of ice. Fairly simple order, I thought. The food took a little long but nothing to get excited about. I started to drive away when I realized I didn't get my bag of ice. Pushed my red button and asked for my ice. And then I waited, and waited, and waited some more. By the time I got home, my popcorn chicken tasted more like hard cardboard void of ANY flavor whatsoever. The pickles were so soggy they were actually inedible. Tried feeding them to the dog but even he wouldn't eat them. Hugely disappointed!!
I usually love sonic but lately theyve been giving me stuff uncooked or over cooked. First it was my mozzarella sticks being completely empty, my corn dogs being burnt and now today its RAW bacon on my breakfast sandwich. I usually don't complain but a bite of raw rubbery bacon was the last straw.

Called in to get my order replaced. Spoke to a Serrina. She was BEYOND rude. I will NEVER EVER eat at this store. And i.will tell everyone about this and call corporate too.
Somehow the workers end up messing something up every time. Apparently to them easy ice means fill it up to the top. Some car hops are sweet and nice but still annoyed at the consistency that things are wrong.
Website says open at 7am Sundays; however, they just turn off the call button and never answer at 0745. Even with all the lights on. Seems customer service is a thing of the past. Cant even tell you they are not taking orders yet. Just let you sit there. BRAVO!!
Poor poor customer service. Wife didnt get all of her order. Called back to the staff twice after food was dropped off the first time. Took them 45 mins to bring out the rest of the order.
Ordered #2 without onions and tomatoes. Ask for ketchup mustard and mayo. They gave me whatever they wanted. On top of that....everything was cold. I mean really, who wants a cold ass burger and tots. Your customer service socks.

DRY BURGERS! burgers come out hot which was good but then could easily tell the patties was pressed to cook to much! Tough and dry!!! And it was slow part of the day at that
No seal on my chili cheese fries and the food was under cooked. I found a fly in my food because of no seal on the packaging. Called health services on this location. Sonic has gotten worse over time along with other complaints I have seen on many blogs.
Ordered a Supersonic Burrito with extra sausage. I've ordered this same order for several years at different locations. This was the first time at this location. I open it up and my burrito is really small. I called and asked the manager, why would they charge me for extra sausage if they were going to take most of the egg out. Her first response was no we didn't take out the egg. Then she yelled to an employee while I was on the phone, "Did you take the egg out on that burrito with the extra sausage?" - I simply hung up. Obviously my satisfaction as a customer meant nothing to her. Furthermore, as this was the smallest Supersonic Burrito I've ever had....maybe Customer Service ie Satisfaction takes a backseat at this location....period!
My friend was accused of having fake money. The man that waited on us could not explain why he thought it was fake, he was given another bill and said that it was fake too. Both bills were clearly real and the man wanted to keep them. He eventually gave the correct change and never apologized for his wrongful accusations. What a terrible experience!!
I already do not care for sonic all that much. I go there because my children do like it. Well tonight I go and they bring me the wrong drinks. I called back in and asked for the correct drinks. They said they would have it right out. I sat there for 4 mins watching about 6 employees play around and eating and never received my drinks. So I just decided that we will just have to drink what we got and left. Got home to find out there were no sauces of any kind in the bag. I mean why even ask what I would like if it's not going to be in the bag. Everytime I go it just makes me not want to go back.
When I order the sonic blast the Topping are not incorporated through out the serving, they are on the bottom and the top, the middle is just ice-cream
I order a small chili cheese dog combo And whtci got was a hot dog less Chilli/cheese Bottle of mustard/pickie reddish I quess they try to b funny about so I as for my money back they gave the return back to me but I have to wait 3- 7 dys to get it back ! Stopped by and ordered an Iced coffee, Rt.44 size with praline and pecan flavor, ask them to go slightly light on the ice and requested 1/2 cup ice. This was the WORST iced coffee I have ever purchased anywhere on earth. Sent me out of my mind. $4.50 for some YUK that you could not even drink. By far the worst Sonic I have ever been too. I may drop corporate an email or call, but had no intentions of complaining to store and having myself exposed to some of the twisted employee to customer revenge that you hear o so often of. I say bring on the robots and cameras, i will fill much safer when this comes 2 pass, way 2 many crazies our there these days. Pics 2 follow.
Absolute worst sonic in Lubbock. I order a very simple drink and they can never ever get it right. I went back to get it corrected and I waited 10 minutes before they finally brought it out to me. I go to it only because of convenience for myself but I will go to any other sonic in Lubbock but I will never go to this one ever again. Horrible. Doesnt even deserve one star
Will not be going back to this sonic. Worst customer service I have ever had. The carhops are incompitant and don't even get me started on the manager. I ordered two shakes with a buy one get one free coupon that showed up on my app. I showed it to the carhop and she had no earthly idea what to do. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and she came out and I explained to her what we were trying to do. She asked to see my receipt. WHAT?!? We didn't pay because that was the whole reason she was out here and what she was supposed to help us with. She looked at me like I was stupid and went inside. She came out with a receipt and still treated me like I was stupid. I showed her the coupon and she said she couldn't honor it because she didn't know if it was still valid. The hell?!! She can't read the exp date of 11/30/16 it's the third right now. Now I'm no Einstein but I'm pretty sure that the third comes before the 30th. I was so fed up with everything at that point I just paid for both shakes and drove off. I will be contacting corporate. I used to work at sonic. I know how it is on the inside and I never had this problem in my life.
The wait was the longest in sonic history! I ordered a #2 supersonic cheeseburger, burger was cold, and the tater tots were so undercooked I didn't eat them. Worst sonic experience ever. Will never eat at this location again!
Disgusting way store appears to be charging customers. Had car hop try to charge me again for the second time this week WHEN I HAD ALREADY RAN MY CARD! Manager's statements almost useless! Right now, I am seriously considering NOT coming back EVER until this issue is IMMEDIATELY resolved!
Will never go there again. Everytime I went there they got our order wrong. Even a thing as simple as a Dr. Pepper with extra ice and a couple of real cherries. Charged .60 cents for cherries only to find there was none and no extra ice. They are incompetent and I will never go there again.
I never had a problem at a sonic but for some reason I ordered a fudge cookie dough blast. Car hop comes out and brings us our order there was no fudge in the blast even though I repeated myself twice. I called back in to see if we could just maybe have some fudge in a cup and we didn’t even have to throw it away. The manager said you did not order this you can pay for the fudge. By the way he decided to come out to the car to tell me how wrong I was and I did not say that fudge cookie dough. I said it’s not about the fudge it seems like it’s a misunderstanding. Customer was not right in this situation sonic you win i’m glad you made your point and kept your $.30 fudge. I definitely will not be doing business at this location. Management skills were horrific.

So today I got two meals from Sonic and one of my drinks was disgusting I've been trying to call him back no answer been trying to call him back no answer I went to the back to the place they refused me now I'm furious so I'm writing a letter Jerry Mr hit Sonic man will you please give me a year's supply of free drinks one per day. If you only had a manager who would just take my cup and refill it I'd be happy but they won't even answer my calls what do we do
My order has been incorrect more than it has been correct. Consistently wait more than 5 minutes when ordering just drinks. Just ordered 2 master blasts with chips ahoy with chocolate ice cream... no chocolate, no chips ahoy, probably not even a master blast. I have given them chance after chance, this was the last straw. I will not be coming backto this sonic.
This location use to be great, but over the last year they have gone down. Several times my order was wrong, or just plain forgotten many items that I had ordered and didn't realize until I returned home. So disappointed. Loved them because of the convenience but probably will go to another location from now on.
Ordered a burger. The guy that brought it handed me the sack n turned n went back towards the door. I had to yell at him that I had a couple dollars tip. If they can’t smile n wait on the complete process of the order then I don’t need to be using your establishment. Thank you.
If you have what is considered a complex order to them, do NOT come to this sonic. Their employees do not know how to read an order. Easy ice does not mean fill the cup up and then just give a little soda. They never get my order correct no matter how many times I try. It's not that hard to take off one thing and add 2 more. If you want your order correct, Absolutely DO NOT go to this sonic. I would give zero stars if I could!
I ordered two shakes. One hot fudge shake and the other an Oreo chocolate master shake. Needless to say my shakes did not taste like there was any chocolate. This is a consistent problem.
Went to the one on Frankford and 64th. After fighting with the app and having to verify multiple times I gave up. Several previous visits I have received mediocre food and service. This was my final try, there is no food at Sonic worth that much trouble.
I’ve been coming to this sonic for a long time now. Every day almost to get my drinks and ice for work. Always a great experience, except this last time. My husband and I went so I could get my bag of ice (as I do every week) and the young lady who brought us the ice handed us a bag of melted ice and the bag smelt like feces. We pulled into a different stall and my husband got off and waved an employee down and told her the issue. She told my husband “oh yeah that bag fell on the floor, they dropped it.” THEY DROPPED IT AND EXPECTED ME TO JUST TALE IT. That’s so gross. Anyway, forever a sonic fan but not this one. I’ll miss all of the happy faces we see on a daily basis but I’ll be going to another location from now on.
Absolutely the worst hamburgers my wife and I have ever had. The carhop couldn’t hear me so she came to my car and still got my order totally wrong. It was as though she could speak English but she couldn’t understand it. We did enjoy our drinks on the way to a real hamburger restaurant after tossing yours in the trash. By the way we won’t be back and whether you believe it or not, word of mouth is your best advertisement. Speaking of advertisement maybe you guys should spend less on it and pay your employees a decent wage and offer incentives for them to advance into management
Went there 08/05/24 at 5:06pm. We ordered some drinks and 2 chicken wraps. She brings us the food and upon checking they gave us a corn dog and grilled cheese I opened everything and gave to my kids not realizing that it wasn't our food. So I let her know on intercom and she hands us our food and takes the other food back to give to the next customer after we touched it. Disgusting and I hope the food we had originally ordered was not in the hands opened by another customer. Won't be returning here anymore and I don't reccomend eating here for sanitary reasons of course.

We did an app order ahead they said they were coming within 5 minutes of getting here only to knock out everyone else’s order before us and has us waiting an extra 15 minutes We pushed the red button gloria came running out and brought a Burnt squished coney ?
Went here for 2 drinks guy spent 5 minutes talking and confusing us when the simple line should've been that flavor is discontinued. I was fine with that ordered a different drink and it took them literally 3 separate times of myself and my boyfriend walking inside to get the correct drink which was 2 ingredients. Would've given the benefit of doubt but they had 3 cars at the drive in including mine which is not anywhere near the definition of busy especially since I used to work there and know. Staff needs to be retrained and this is not the first time they've messed up simple orders so I highly advise to seek food and service elsewhere:)
I just changed this 5 to rating a 1 star. Mario needs a retrain in manager skills . I spend an average of $40 a day on drinks here & about $100 a week on food here for myself , not to mention I make my 10 employees go there for lunch , which costs me a lot of money. I ordered 3 route 44 drinks in an hour period. The first two were perfect 1/4 cup of ice Coke. The third one was full of Ice I took ,4 drinks and now have a cup of ice. I just spent $9.00 on drinks and $15 on tips. I showed them the ice cup and asked if they could make it right Mario said no because I drank it ....but I didn't know 4 drinks would be all I got out of it. So I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN THIS WAS MY FAVORITE SONIC. ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS MAKE IT RIGHT , ESPECIALLY SINCE I get all my employee drinks and food here. I spend a lot here weekly. So this $2.96 issue just lost my business here . Mario should not have an attitude be a manager make the wrong right , don't act like I'm trying to get one over on you . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. THIS IS THE SECOND ISSUE I have had with Mario the manager. . Thanks for nothing Mario , get some people skills , and maybe retrain , you are not fit to be manger. Times before you arrived previous managers knew how much I spent here ( not to mention all the $5 tips I give ..ask Parker how good of a customer I was. PREVIOUS MANGERS DIDN'T HAVE AN ATTITUDE. I'LL NEVER BE BACK. THANKS MARIO I would also appreciate to talk to /Rodney Warren Or Charlie Warren. I may consider going back after you have a mature manager without and attitude , one who realizes fixing a $2.69 is better than losing thousands of dollars of business. I have never been talked down to by anyone at a Sonic until dealing with incompetent Mario the Manager.
