Such a friggin cute place! It’s in a courtyard between Main and Elm with outdoor patio seating and the sweetest staff. I got the Supernova Lox with scallion schmear and an everything bagel. Growing up Canadian, Montreal and NYC bagels were all the rage. The last thing I was expecting to find my absolute FAVOURITE bagel experience in downtown Dallas. It’s an 11/10. Chef’s kiss.
Fantastic local bagel shop with great outdoor seating, kind staff, and delicious food and coffee. Highly recommend the lox bagel. Chill outside or get your bagel to go and take it home.
Unreal bagels! 🥯 How hard could it possibly be to make a decent bagel? Well if you’ve had an average bagel, you’d know the good ones hit hard. And Starship Bagel make DELICIOUS bagels. They have a variety of schmeres and toppings (see menu on their website for the most up to date version) so you’re sure to be satisfied. I’ve had both the Everything, and Italian bagels - both left me wanting more. And I also understand why their Basil schemers has won an award 🌿 🥇 Highly, highly recommend this place.
After regularly seeing our volunteers on their survey route, staff at Starship Bagel Shop showed genuine curiosity about the Lights Out Dallas! initiative and expressed their appreciation and support for our dedicated volunteers who help protect migratory birds. It’s moments like these that remind us and our volunteers that our work truly matters. Thank you to Starship Bagel Shop. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.
Bagels are top notch…. Are they better than a New York bagel……. Maybe… maybe not… that’s for you to decide but to find a bagel that even compares in Texas seems so foreign that you immediately think it’s the best bagel you’ve ever had. Ate 2.5 today. 100% would crush these bagels again.
I made my way to Starship Bagels in Dallas, and it totally exceeded my expectations. I ordered an Italian bagel with honey almond schmear — a bit of an unconventional combo — but it worked so well. The bagel itself was fresh, perfectly chewy with a crisp exterior, and the schmear added a subtle sweetness that balanced out the savory flavors. You can really tell they take pride in their ingredients and how everything is prepared. The service stood out just as much as the food. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and even though the place was busy, they kept things moving fast without making it feel rushed. It’s got a laid-back, no-nonsense vibe that feels authentic, like a proper neighborhood bagel shop. Also, the location is pretty unique — it’s right next to the giant eyeball statue downtown, which makes it a fun and unexpected spot to grab breakfast or lunch. I’d heard Starship Bagels has been recognized as one of the best bagel spots in the country, and after visiting, I’d say that reputation is well deserved. Whether you’re a bagel purist or like to mix it up with flavors, this place is a must-visit in Dallas.
Their bagels were really good! We had supernova bagel then peach bagel shared with me and my bf. The bagel itself was light that I didn’t feel like i was eating bagel lol. overall collaborations for the peach bagel was on the spot. I would recommend others to give them a try!
Every morning from 7-8am, they have a $5 combo where you get a bagel with schmere and a coffee. I love it so much! I'm pretty basic though and get a raisin bagel with plain cream cheese but I would say it's very filling and a great way to start my morning. It's located right next to the eyeball so I stick around for the calm atmosphere.
Window service bagel shop on the side of the building adjacent to some sidewalk seating and a quiet park with art. Bagels, smears and toppings were all good. Friendly service. Nearly sold out by 1230.
This bagel shop is conveniently located next to a popular attraction.. the Giant Eyeball. The atmosphere is peaceful and the place clean.. making it a nice spot to relax. The bagels are perfectly soft yet crispy.. and the staff is friendly, courteous, and quick—Your orders is ready in no time. There are a few tables outside if you prefer to sit and enjoy the Vibes. Highly recommend trying the sesame bagel with cream cheese!
As good as any I’ve tried in New York. Got the Supernova Lox and Bagel with an everything bagel and scallion schmear and it was delicious. My coworker got the plain bagel with honey almond schmear and she said it was the best she’s ever had. I got there around 9:30am and they were out of a few varieties. I had wanted the jalapeño cheddar bagel but they were out. Cinnamon raisin seems to also be quite popular. Traffic wasn’t bad when I went but I can see parking being a pain if you’re there just for this. Definitely worth checking out!
The location can be a tad bit confusing as it’s not directly off of a main street. It’s located near the Woolworth and tucked in the adorable cobblestone road. The bagels and spreads were delicious, and the service was fast which we appreciated compared to other bagel shops with longer wait times! They did have a decent amount of sold out bagels on a Saturday morning by 10am, so be sure to order early as it’s clearly a hot commodity for a multitude of great reasons.
The hype over this place is well deserved. I am originally from New York, and I found my bagel to be delicious and just like the ones I miss from home. I ordered an Italian bagel with basil cream cheese. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.
We went to starship on Christmas morning, and we were so glad they were open. It was surprisingly pretty busy, with several groups of people waiting to place their order at the window. The wait is outside, but the spot this little bagel shop is located is right next to the iconic Dallas eyeball so it makes for some nice views. Just be sure to dress appropriately as I believe there’s almost always a line. We took the bagels to go. We liked them! To be totally honest, it’s not our favorite Dallas bagel, but they’re good. We will try again.
Woweeeee! I’m a NY bagel gal through and through but Starship Bagels set the bar high for Dallas. I got their everything bagel toasted with scallion shmearr and orange juice. It was the perfect amount of crisp with all the savory creamy flavors. Next time I’m in Dallas I’ll be stopping here again. Check them out!
Really good bagel! I ordered ahead and there was a bit of a wait as nobody came to the directed pickup window. I ended up getting in the back of the ordering line to pick it up. I recommend ordering the open sandwhich style. Not sure if i would get the sprouts again given that it was a little difficult to eat.

Long line moved quickly, so it looked promising. The wait was totally worth it! Tasty chewy bagels, and they made amazing bagel sandwiches. Cream cheese was very creamy and thick, and the lox/salmon was buttery soft. Coffee wasn't overly sweet and paired well. Right next to a giant eyeball art installation. Is just a stand with some seating outside (not a building you walk into).
Excellent bagels, spreads, and sandwiches on a pedestrian street in the heart of downtown Dallas. I enjoyed the cucumber sandwich with basil cream cheese. Fun concept, friendly staff, and great food. They have the tables in front of the shop that look onto the giant eyeball and depending on the time of day are in the shade.

Yes! Fantastic bagel sandwich. millennial falcon was perfection, Pick your bagel, your schemer, tomato, sprouts, avocado, pickled red onion and red pepper flakes.
This New Yorker gives Starship Bagel a thumbs up. I had the cucumber sandwich with veggie cream cheese on plain bagel. The bagel had a very nice texture, firmness and taste. The sandwich was delicious. It’s a carry out location which and it wasn’t incredibly fun waiting on line for a few minutes on a cold Dallas December day but service was fast and efficient. I’d definitely come back here again on a repeat visit.
First time customer. My expectations were very high due to the stores claims of having the best bagel and me being from New York. The place is hard to get to if you are in a rush due to lots location. Being in downtown Dallas and the limited parking makes it tricky and difficult to get in and out quickly. Also if there is inclement weather you're stuck outside while you wait, order and wait. The customer service is very good. Very quick, welcoming and professional. The packaging is done excellently. I bought an onion bagel with cream cheese and a cinnamon raisin bagel with butter. I though both bagels had generous helpings in terms of the spread on the bagel. Many places aren't as generous but this place does it right. The onion bagel taste was great. Quality onions, placed outside the bagel and loaded all over the bagel. The taste was spot on. The cinnamon raisin bagel also had a good taste. Both bagels were also the proper size. Not sure if it's due to the location and the extreme cold weather but the bagels were not very soft and rather tough to chew. Also don't like that they don't cut the bagels in half as it makes it more messy to eat especially when eating a bagel with cream cheese. Overall it was one of the better bagels I had in Texas but I was hoping for a tad better.

⭐ 1 Star Review Terrible experience — definitely not coming back. The staff clearly doesn’t care about customer orders, so make sure to double-check everything before you leave. I ordered a coffee with oat milk, but it had almost no coffee taste at all — just watery and bland. The bagel was even worse. I asked for it with salmon, which normally comes with capers, tomatoes, onions, and cream cheese, but they only gave me salmon and nothing else. It looked unfinished and tasted plain. Overall, very disappointing. The quality and attention to detail were terrible, and it felt like they just rushed my order without even trying.
I bought 4 bagels to eat in store with my family on a Saturday. I bought the $6 tub of cream cheese and the worker said they would not toast any of them unless we had them put the cream cheese on for us, which increases the price tremendously. Horrible rule. They need to change this. Very DISAPPOINTING
Wow. Just… wow. I’m genuinely struggling to understand how this place has anything above a 1-star rating. Let’s break down the magic. First, there’s no seating. You grab and go. mostly go, because there’s apparently nothing to grab. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, we finally got to the counter only to be told they had run out of bagels. Their one product. That’s like McDonald’s running out of fries, or Starbucks saying, “Sorry, no coffee today.” Inspirational. But we’re persistent (or just foolish), so we came back the next day. Another line. Another wait. And then the big reveal: Only plain bagels left. And… plot twist: they ran out of cream cheese. A bagel shop with no bagels and no cream cheese. Groundbreaking stuff. Their solution? “We have avocado.” What!!!! Hahahaha To really complete the experience, the staff was charmingly rude. When we asked if they had lactose-free cream cheese, they laughed. We also asked for our bagel toasted. It arrived with all the toastiness of a cold sponge. Total disaster. Would give zero stars if I could, but sadly, life is full of disappointments… just like this place.
