God be my witness, I've reached the peak of my existence. I went in with my friend, the staff was friendly and service was fast. Cool and all but the FOOD was divine. When I took a bite of my curry I threw my head back in ecstacy bite so good it had me gripping my sheets curling my toes in tightly. I'm having dreams tonight.

Quiet place for dinner and the food was amazing. Aromatic, spicy, wonderful. Chef came out to meet us and topped off our dinner with mango pudding. Forgot to take a picture but here are my leftovers! Butter chicken.

I had a very great experience at Taj Mahal! I was greeted when I first walked in chef gill made sure I was very accommodated! Great prices on the food great service I would definitely recommend and come back! I actually got a complementary drink! One of the best experiences I’ve had at a Dallas restaurant

This was the best meal in Dallas this week while I’ve even here for work. The service was great and I enjoyed the music and vibes. The chai is a must as well as the veg. samosa. The Chicken Tikka Masala was tender and flavorful! I’m glad I went with the roti instead of the garlic naan since that fills me up fast. Ended my meal with the mango custard that was a great palette cleanser and not too sweet. This will be my go-to place to dine when I return to Dallas. I highly recommend!

The owners and servers are very friendly. I have done the lunch buffet and dinner from the menu. Both were wonderful. I really enjoyed the rice pudding, and my daughter loved the Chai tea. I will be thinking about the Chicken Masala for a few days at least.

Very friendly owner. Was greeted by Chef Gill right away as soon as I come in. Delicious food for a very reasonable price. Big portion also! Def would come back for a comfort meal. Also, their garlic butter naan is the best in town.

First time in and I enjoyed the heck out of this place! Mmmmhhhmmmm! I have been craving Indian food for a while and was not disappointed! I went for the buffet lunch to try several options. All were tasty, but the best part was the butter chicken, sizzling skillet chicken and the freshly cooked, deliciously seasoned Naan! Chef Gill, you have a new regular ! Very pleased with the clean and filling buffet. The food was fresh and the chicken Tandoori, came out hot and sizzling with bell peppers and onions very juicy and tasty chicken legs. They say the 3rd time is the charm and might say this food is a must have. The lamb falls off the bone literally.

The modest buffet consistently delivers satisfaction. My family and I truly appreciate their traditional cuisine, especially the chicken tikka and yellow rice, along with their delightful selection of desserts. The ambiance is pleasantly quiet, making it a great dining experience. Please note that their operating hours differ from many other restaurants, so I recommend checking the hours displayed on the door in the photo I took. On our visit, they were nearing closing time, yet they graciously served us parathas.

I recently visited Taj Mahal Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant was also very clean, which made me feel comfortable dining there. As a special touch, Gil kindly offered me two complimentary dishes since it was my first time trying Indian food, which I really appreciated. Gil, the owner, truly shows dedication and passion for his restaurant. I understand that maintaining a commercial property can be challenging, but it’s clear that Gil knows how to handle his business well. As an electrical contractor, I’m excited to support his growth and look forward to potentially collaborating on future projects.

AVOID THE LUNCH BUFFET! We've eaten Indian food all over the US and never had food this disappointing. Most of the food was tasteless though the tikki masala had way too much coconut. The soup selection was lentil that was boiled to a mush. Vegetable samosa was fried at too low a temperature so it was soggy with grease. The naan was either cooked yesterday or early today and left out to dry. The dessert was even worse. Watery rice pudding and mango custard made from a powder mix and poorly mixed. What a waste of $16.99, especially when we have so many good Indian restaurants. Next time we are near this part of town we will go over to India Palace, large selection and good food.
