⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our experience at Original Pancake House was absolutely outstanding, and a huge part of that was thanks to Fernando. From the moment we sat down, his attention to detail was exceptional. He was attentive while being incredibly professional, and genuinely kind. Every part of our visit felt seamless because Fernando anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. He took the time to make sure everything was perfect, checked in at all the right moments, and made us feel truly welcomed and valued as guests. His level of care and pride in his work is rare, and it completely elevated our breakfast experience. Because of Fernando, I immediately wanted to tell my friends and family that this is the place to come for breakfast. And the food the French crepes are an absolute must-try. Light, perfectly made, and incredibly delicious. Pairing amazing food with service like Fernando’s is what turns a regular breakfast into a memorable experience. The orange juice, please try, it was so good, reminded me of my childhood. Fernando is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever interacted with in a restaurant setting. If I could give 10 stars, I would without hesitation. Original Pancake House is extremely lucky to have him, and we will absolutely be back and asking for Fernando every single time!!! If you have a special occasion ask for him he’s going to make it FABULOUS!!!!!

We had the most amazing time today with Juanita at the Lemmon Ave location. She gave us the most amazingly thorough service and truly went above and beyond. Juanita was knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire experience feel welcoming and personalized. You can tell she genuinely cares about what she does, and it made all the difference. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend asking for Juanita!

The Original Pancake House is a breakfast classic that never disappoints! The pancakes are unbelievably fluffy, the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. Their signature items, especially the Hacienda Eggs Benedict and the Banana Pecan Pancakes (I think that's what it was called), are absolutely worth the hype! The service is fast and friendly, even when the place gets busy, and the cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for a comforting breakfast or weekend brunch. Every visit feels consistent in quality, which is rare these days. If you’re craving a true breakfast experience with great flavors and great service, The Original Pancake House is always the right choice!!

Me and my wife went out on a Breakfast Date this morning. Our server Victor was amazing! He greeted us with a smile, covered for a teammate, and made us delicious vanilla and caramel lattes—even though it was his first time making them he did them perfectly❤️. Our food came out hot and fresh, and he checked on us at all the right times. Great conversation, great service, and he even brought us to-go boxes and cups without us asking. We’ll definitely be coming back when he’s working! 10/10 recommend.

i've never had a "cloudie" before coming here, and let me just say, it was pretty life-changing. topped with eggs benedict and added a side of avocado, it was divine. my vanilla cold brew paired for an excellent breakfast experience. my dining partner got a spinach mushroom omelette and it was HUGE! packed with flavor to match the size, she was satisfied for the day. the atmosphere was roomy and wholesome with amazing window views of the city streets, and our waiter Ramon was probably my favorite part! his welcoming energy and conversation brought my whole experience together. if i'm back in Dallas, i will be coming here again!

Would absolutely recommend anyone to stop by this place. It's better than any pancake house around. Great location. The service is outstanding. Johnathan took care of us and explained everything that we should know about ordering. They made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. Food arrived at a well timed manner. Everything was cooked to perfection. A bonus is that everything you eat here is HANDMADE IN HOUSE. From the batter, butter, and hand picked cuts of meats. Even the orange juice is freshly squeezed. 🙌🏻

We waited about an hour. Wish I had know we could have checked in on yelp. The eggs Benedict was over cooked. I told hubby to have it made again but he wouldn’t. Parking is limited. Our waiter did a good job. Food was yummy!

Total time spent at the restaurant was 2 hours, 1.5 hours waiting finally got our food. The Cinnamon roll pancakes and biscuits & gravy were delicious; everything else was okay.

This was a nice little place to get a good breakfast. They are very big portions like four egg omelette but the biscuits for biscuits and gravy or just biscuits by themselves or simply delectable.

This place isn’t what it used to be. The restaurant has a nostalgic feel which I enjoyed. I ordered the Farm house and added strawberries to the top. I really liked my pancakes they were cooked perfectly; unfortunately my eggs were extremely greasy, but my bacon was delightful. I also order the orange juice and it wasn’t worth the $5 I paid for it. The orange juice wasn’t that great and it was very warm, however my mother enjoyed hers. I spent a little over $50 for 2; it definitely wasn’t worth the price but it’s good if you want something quick.

Well - I went to try it a few weeks ago and it wasn't what I was expecting. It wasn't excellent .... But it wasn't bad either. It just wasn't what I was looking, the food, the environment , etc.

It takes a lot for me to leave a poor review for a business. My daughter brought me here for breakfast while I’m visiting from out of town. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to come take our drink order. We ordered our food at the same time. The drinks did not arrive until we were almost finished with our food. We had to catch the hostess and another server to get what we needed. We didn’t even have water. My daughter’s order was wrong, and they didn’t bring her the side of fruit she ordered. We were very kind through all of this, as my daughter is also a server. Our server avoided our table once he knew he messed up. I had to flag down another server to get a refill on my coffee. The only they “took off our bill” was the fruit that they never brought us. At the very least I would have expected them to comp the drinks we didn’t get until our meal was almost over, which is what I asked them to do when I paid the bill and they agreed. We understand things can get hectic in the service industry but this was a pretty ridiculous experience.
