Tip: The Hainan chicken is a popular choice, especially because it's deboned when you dine in.

TLDR: first time I’ve had such good Hainanese chicken and they debone it for you when you dine in! We had the steak, the large pea sprouts with garlic and the hainan chicken. The hainan chicken was smooth and moist, but the best part was that it was deboned! It takes a lot of skill for that to happen and it makes it so much easier to eat so I was happy with the food
Very good place, nice service, fair price in seafood. Definitely will come back again. The seafood is also very fresh and tasty.

real Cantonese food :)
Super friendly waitress, very delicious food! Not too salty, flavorful, flavor incredibly on point. Asian approved.
I was completely surprised by the quality and deliciousness of this place. The best beef and broccoli over fried rice I've ever had.
Unique Chinese restaurant where they steam the food in front of you. Wide variety of dishes, and all the ones I tried were pretty good.
Delicious and great service! We had a big table of 10 and they were great, always checking up on us and bringing whatever we needed even though it was just the 2 of them working the front of house. Food was hot, flavorful, and at a great price. Highly recommend.

This place has very interesting concept in cooking their food. The food here was good and had good variety of seafood with good flavours even though it was being steamed. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. Our waitress gave us recommendations on what to eat and how to enjoy our food and would also tell us if we’re over ordering. The ending of the seafood congee was great. Nice and flavourful. It was definitely a fun experience and a quick way of eating steamed seafood.
Delicious food and good service overall! Cute little mom and pop shop - they’ve got little funko pop toys hanging all over the ceiling. Service was great - prompt, friendly. They also gave us soup (tomato and pork soup) as a start and a finishing dessert with the white snow fungus. I’d stick to the traditional Chinese dishes - the hainan chicken rice is a must order! So yummy and also boneless. The pea sprouts with garlic were also very fresh and a huge plate! The Hong Kong style baked spaghetti tastes good and satisfied the cravings but a little disappointing- not enough meat and the spaghetti was a little bit overcooked. Can skip this dish. Oh did I mention the tea was the best out of any restaurant! They had the most delicious lychee red tea - instead of the usual kinda cheap black teas that many other places have. I’d come just for the tea!
Best dry fry beef chow fun
the hainan chicken rice is not very authentic

It's hard to explain just how wide-ranging the food selection is. There are steamers in the middle of every table for seafood. There are all kinds of deep fried appetizers, including chicken cartilage. All kinds of rice and noodles except the "traditional" Chinese-American fried rice and chow mein. The service is meh, but not terrible. Prices are weird - some things are obviously a better value than others.
Steaming with the clear bowl shaped lid was fun. the whole contraption was steampunk-ish & seeing my friend jump when the lid automatically lift up when the cooking was done was amusing. Everything tasted good but presentation wise steaming frozen dumplings was underwhelming.

Bad experience due to very slow serving speed, ignore child chair request and missed one of our dishes. When we called out, the waitress argued and tried to find excuse (system problem) for missing dishes. We ended up try self-service as much as possible because it makes us feel bad every time asking them to do anything. A another red flag is their waitress intentionally stand aside when we do the tipping, and lowest is 18% after-tax. I ended up gave 15% (before-tax amount, I don't tip after-tax amount), which is still too high imo. To be fair, their food is good (that's why 2 star). Though hugely hampered by their service.
Ok clams w/black bean. Wonton soup the barest made; floating green onions in a base of flavored water. Odd place, concerned waitstaff into cleaning tables instead of serving ordered foods. Plus!!!waitress, on her own initiative, decided a 20% tip (party of 2) on tab.😯🤣🤪
I was very excited for this given the reviews. Food overall was a bit disappointing. Salt and pepper wings were just wings with batter, no chopped pepper. Hainan Chicken looks very sad and lacks color. Service was good. Place was not very clean.

I rarely post reviews anymore but felt the need to share that the practices at this restaurant are shady. For takeout, I ordered a full Hainan chicken set and only received the chicken without any rice or soup. The waitress told me that I needed to order from them directly, but when I tried to order from their website, it was missing a ton of items including veggies and beverages so I had to order from another platform. The only time I really order Hainan chicken is when I crave the rice so this was a let down. The HK style milk tea was also not good because the tea tasted over-steeped and had a strong tannin flavor. Lastly, the string beans looked day old and was mixed with a fresher batch. $60 (doesn't include tip) for Hainan chicken with no rice or soup, questionable string beans, and two subpar milk teas. I will not be back!

We placed an online order at 6pm for a pick up at 6:30pm. When we arrived at 6:30pm, they let us know that one of the dishes was no longer available, and asked if we would like to replace it with another item. They could have called to let us know since they asked for our phone number when we placed the order but they waited till we arrived to ask. They let us know the order will be ready in 15 minutes (6:45pm). Honestly waiting for another 15 minutes wouldn’t lead me to writing this review. Guess what time we got our food? 7:30pm! Poor customer service, lack of efficiency, food might be acceptable but I’m too hangry to be enjoying it 🙃
The restaurant smells funky. And the lobster has no flavor. And the waitress kept pushing us to order more than enough. And she knocked down my tea cup once, the second time when she serve me food, her finger was in my cup. This is the first time I’m visiting in SF, the experience is certainly not helpful.
I went here with my parents and we order two items. Hianinan chicken and the other dish was pawns with walnut. The total bill came out to $50. The food was good. When we ask for the bill and payed the amount. The sever/host told us that we have to tip 15%. Eventually we did cash tip. As soon we were about to leave the server/host said that wasn’t enough tip money. First of all why you would ask for 15% tip. Second asking for tip and then complain about how we tipped low. You should be grateful there was tip. I never seen this kind behavior from any restaurant establishments. As a person that works in the restaurant industry that is a very rude thing to say to paying customers. Also on top of that I understand Cantonese so I understand all the unnecessary talk about didn’t tip enough and why you should tip more. As much I like the food here, more likely I won’t be coming back.
I'm very disappointed on the HK style sweet and sour chicken. It is all chicken cartilages. I called the restaurant thinking they might give me the wrong order. Instead, I was told sweet and sour chicken is chicken cartilage. I never expected they use chicken cartilage to make the dish which other restaurants always use chicken meat. Young children and elderly aren't able to chew the cartilage and no one in the household likes it. The dish ended up in the trash. The lady on the phone said I should specify chicken meat if I want the meat. How am I suppose to know they don't use chicken meat for the dish. Why don't they call it sweet and sour chicken cartilage instead unless they want to mislead the consumer? Another dish, spareribs with coffee sauce, has no coffee taste at all, instead it has some burned garlic after taste.
