Amazing!! Much needed during the shopping chaos. The music was soothing and atmosphere inviting. The passion fruit drink was very refreshing. The beef tenderloin in the risotto was the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect my plate to be so big. A wonderful surprise. My husband enjoyed his seafood medely fried rice. The service was outstanding.
Luis was our server and he was so kind and the food came out to quickly. We got the lomo saltado one with French fries and rice and the other with risotto. Blew me away. Super flavorful! We also got a cheesecake!
Tried the lomo saltado at Ceviche 595 and it was excellent. The beef was perfectly cooked tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with that classic wok-seared taste. The onions and tomatoes were spot on, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully without being too heavy. Crispy fries soaked up just the right amount of sauce, and the rice was fluffy and fresh. Authentic, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. If you’re craving real Peruvian comfort food, this dish alone is worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back many times!
The food and service are amazing! Loved everything we ordered. We will visit again!
I typically do not write reviews, but this was simply the best Peruvian food I have ever had. I ordered “chupe de camarones” which is a creamy shrimp soup. I have never had this dish before and this dish alone was the best advertisement that Visit Peru Tourism Authority could ever do. I’m booking my flight to Lima tomorrow. This place WILL see me again.
Loved this place! The food was super tasty and fresh — the ceviche was amazing! The staff was really nice and the vibe was great. The Brazilian waiter was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to go back!
I had a pulpo anticucherro and shared a chaufa shrimp rice. It was amazing! We loved the food and will be coming again. Kudos for amazing Peruvian food!
Food is super yummy and owner is very nice! They also have a homemade dessert which is like a passionfruit cheesecake sort of thing. Stop by if you're ever in the area! 😋
This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. I am definitely going back with my husband. The atmosphere and ambience are is pleasant and calm. I ordered the pescado a la chorrillana. It was delicious. The fish was lightly battered and tasted light and fresh. The rice was cooked perfectly. There was a bit of salt in the it, but since the fish and sauce are not salty, it balanced well. I also got the Maracuya which is a passion fruit drink. Very good! Not too sweet and it ties the meal together. Jorge was our server and waiter and he was so nice and attentive. I will definitely be back.
Delicious authentic Peruvian food. The service was really fast, we got our dishes in 5 minutes. I tried the ceviche de pescado and the huancaina risotto and both were really good.
Every plate we had here was absolutely amazing. The ceviche is one of the best I’ve ever had and the risotto is to die for. Definitely going to be back soon!
Server was amazing. He recommended us two entrees that were delicious
I eat Peruvian food often and have gone to quite a few different places and boyyyyyy am I glad I found this one. The best one by FAR. The food is consistently very delicious. I’ve tried a few dishes now here, and I have loved every single one. Even the chicha morada is the best I’ve had. The service is also great, very nice. They also play Peruvian cumbia, which I love. I don’t think I can go back to the other spots, they just don’t measure up to Ceviche 595. I’m looking forward to trying all of their plates! I’m obsessed if you couldn’t tell already lol Super highly recommend
We were craving authentic Peruvian food and I’m pleased to say that we found it. EVERYTHING was delicious , the staff and owner were very attentive and the atmosphere is great to go with family. I recommend it and will definitely be back :)
Love this new place! Now I don’t have to drive all the way down to Miami to get very good Ceviche. I had the Pescado and I loved that it was a grouper fish and not tilapia. After that mild spice I did wash it with an decadent tres leches. Six stars if I could because of the reasonable price. On top of hat, our server John was very very friendly.
Thank you Luis for your service!!! The food was delish and I love the atmosphere!!!
WOW!!! I was looking for a Peruvian restaurant on Google & this one came up with good reviews but they for sure should have 5 stars . The ambiance is cute and cozy , good for a date or to come with your family . The services was on point along with the owner who made sure we were doing well at all times . Now let’s emphasize on the amazing food ……., EVERYTHING was delicious even their spicy homemade sauce . Keep up the great job ! I highly recommend this establishment !
Great place food was fresh really good spoke to the owner great guy very good service👍
Absolutely delicious!!! I haven’t enjoyed a meal like this in a long time. I had the shrimp ceviche. When I first saw it I had an underwhelming emotion. By the second bite I was hooked. I still don’t understand why there was corn and sweet potato, but it worked! We also had the seafood fried rice. It was very yummy. I would have enjoyed it even more with chili oil, but still good without. For dessert we had Crema volteada with an espresso. It resembled a thicker consistency flan. Our server was very nice and attentive. We had just come from fishing all morning long, so we felt a tad bit underdressed. This place would make for a great business lunch or date night.
The ceviche was fresh, well-made and hit the spot. The lomo saltado looked delicious and will give it a try next time. The experience wasn’t out of this world but it wasn’t missing anything either. The staff was friendly and prompt. The parking, on a Saturday night, is an adventure. Nothing to do with the restaurant - just the plaza.
Great food the lomo saltado was delicious And is a big portion of meat and the ceviche was amazing
Great quality of food! The ceviche and leche de Tigre are delicious 😊
Absolutely delicious food and great portions. Our server Jorge was very attentive and personable. I ordered the Peruvian pesto which tasted like my abuelita's, very home cooked and the meat was very tender.
Traditional and 100% delicious. Beside the warm service, the food was magnificent. We had the ceviche and the lomo saltado. The food smelled so amazing when it came in that we didn’t even get the need to grab a phone and snap a picture, we were transported to a journey of deliciousness. I recommend the place. Fresh food, great environment, and very delicious!
I will be coming back every time my budget allows it. Great food
Hands down one of the best restaurants in Davie! The food, the service, everything is spectacular!!! A must try!
The best Aji de Gallina I tried in the US! Totally recommend.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will definitely come back
My experience here was overall wonderful!! Upon entering, the staff was super friendly and inviting. They were also very attentive to both my friend and me making sure our drinks were full and our needs were met. The food was also super delicious! I ended up getting the Lomo saltado and found the steak perfectly cooked. My friend who got the ceviche found his meal also quite flavorful. The portion sizes were plentiful and very filling! Will 100% come back again with my Peruvian mom.
What a great mom and pop restaurant. Delicious authentic Peruvian dishes and service with a smile. I recommend the Arroz Norteño, a variation of Arroz con Pato, but made with fresh seafood and chicha de Jora. The freshness of the food was only outdone by the attentive and welcoming service provided by Luis. I’ll be returning for more!
First time in here. Recommended for sure! Well, it was a Monday but ambience was relaxing, quiet, nice salsa music in the background. Food was amazing. The fish so tasty, the shrimp was fresh, the sauce yummy. Never tried the Peruvian beer before and it was great. Smooth, soft! Also, the chicha morada was so tasty I drank 2 cups! Service was good. The guy was also probably the manager of the owner, very calm and helpful when explaining the dishes. Give it a try! You won't regret it. 🔥😋💯
Amazing!!! The food is absolutely delicious every time I come. I have been coming to Ceviche 595 for years and it never disappoints. The ceviche is always so delicious and my favorite dish is the “Lomo Saltado”. They also have a lunch special from M-F until 5pm where you get a drink, appetizer, and main dish for $16.99.
dude i walked in and who im guessing is the owner wasted 0 time welcoming me in and got me everything i wanted as fast as he could. excellent service, super friendly and excellent food, definitely would recommend
We ate Pulpo Anticuchero and Arroz Chaufa and it was extremely, extremely delicous. I would like to get their recipe. For the price it’s at, it’s very high quality food
Great food! Lovely atmosphere! 9 minutes from FLL airport. What was supposed to be a quick way of passing time, turned out to be a delicious discovery!! We will definitely be back... family in tow. Keep up the great work... you have a little gem right here!!! ♡♡♡ (Chicharrones de pescado, Sangria and Passion Fruit Juice all delicious)
Amazing delicious food. We ate all our food. No food was left. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a complete different food rather than the usual.
Walking into **Ceviche 595**, you immediately sense you're in for something special. The ambiance hums with a warmth that whispers, "You're home now—but with much better food." Our experience was further elevated by the attentive care of Don Luis Alberto, a host so charming and dedicated that one suspects he moonlights as a magician, given his uncanny ability to make your meal feel like a perfectly orchestrated symphony. We began our culinary journey with the **jalea**, a medley of perfectly fried seafood that tasted as though it had been harvested mere moments ago. The freshness was palpable, each bite a testament to the chef's mastery. This was not just seafood—it was an ode to the ocean. Next came the **lomo saltado** and its decadent cousin, **lomo saltado with huancaína spaghetti**. The former was a textbook example of how stir-fried beef, onions, and tomatoes can transcend their humble origins when treated with respect and a touch of culinary wizardry. As for the latter—what can one say about a dish that marries the robust flavors of lomo saltado with the creamy decadence of huancaína sauce? It’s like Peru’s greatest hits in one harmonious plate. The food wasn’t just good—it was *conversation-stopping*. Plates were polished, forks clattered against empty dishes, and all one could muster was an awed, “Wow.” But it wasn't just the food that stole the show. Don Luis Alberto himself deserves a standing ovation. His service was impeccable, his enthusiasm infectious. He didn't just serve us; he orchestrated our experience with the skill of a maestro, ensuring that every detail was perfect. **Ceviche 595** isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Peruvian cuisine, served with heart, soul, and a dash of flair. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur of ceviche or a curious newcomer, this is a place you simply must visit. And if you’re lucky, you’ll be treated to the unforgettable hospitality of Don Luis Alberto—because, trust me, it’s as much a part of the experience as the food itself. In short: come hungry, leave enchanted.
Muy rico ! loved eating here food is very high quality and quick very nice people 😄 . delicious food meat is super tender
Calm atmosphere and great food. Servings are large. Ceviche was amazing as was the Rissoto Huancaina.
As always it did not disappoint! Good service and delicious food. I ordered a traditional Lomo Saltado with his Inca Cola and it was as expected. The atmosphere is very casual. I will say this plaza was missing a Peruvian presence until this restaurant shows up. Easy access right by 594 and University Dr.
I went to my family and we loved the food. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding.
This was our first visit for dinner and the entire experience was above our expectations. The food was delicious, fresh, well prepared and of good quality. My husband and I shared a mixed ceviche (shrimp, fish, squid and scallop) and a 2-pound whole snapper deep fried. Even the snack Chulpi Corn was of better quality (light and crunchy but not dense). Jorge greeted us with his warm and welcoming smile and provided us with his attention for the entire meal. It was a great find and we shall return when in this area. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The restaurant is very nice and clean. It smells amazing. The food is very good. I recommend this place to all people.
I absolutely Love Peruvian food. I ordered the causa, the ceviche pescado (fish), and the chaufa seafood. All three were delicious. The service was sweet and warm, the food came out quickly. I will be back!
I had lomos saltado and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly the best stake I’ve ever tasted in my life. The food did not take long to come out either and was hot and fresh! The server was very kind and professional and the manager is very friendly. The tables and decor is beautiful. The amount of food you get is a lot! Enough for 2 people or to take home as leftovers. Overall a wonderful experience I highly would recommend.
Excellent service, food & atmosphere. Very clean, and the staff are very friendly. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! Authentic Peruvian food and perfect portions! Luis took care of us, and he was amazing!
Very good authentic Peruvian food! The Lomo Saltado and Ceviche were amazing. Everyone should come and try the food here! The owner is super nice too! We’re definitely coming back when visiting this area ❤️🇵🇪
We moved to Broward last year and it has been hard to find a good lomo saltado, but ceviche 595 exceeded my expectations! Clean and friendly atmosphere. Efficient and kind service. The lomo was perfectly seasoned and SO tender. I’m Peruvian and my husband is Brazilian, so we are pretty picky about our meat. We will definitely be back! Photos: I already ate a good amount of the lomo before taking pictures 😅
I’ve been coming here for a year now with my son and we absolutely love it. The food is authentic and delicious. We’ve never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. Definitely worth trying their lomo saltado and seafood soup! 10/10
Loved the food n service here ..small mom n pop place ..I asked owner what type of rice they use but he said he could not remember I have not had rice this delicious n fresh in forever! Lomo saltado was not your typical one as it was not loaded in all the soy sauce and all letting the homestye taste come through. Great service as well😎😎😎
Phenomenal Lomo Saltado. Ask for lime, ketchup, & hot sauce (ask me later). Pair it with colada morada. Luis was humble and respectful. Best experience in Fl if you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food. VIVA LA RAZA !!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent experience! I tried the lomo saltado and it was absolutely delicious, with a very generous portion and an amazing flavor—perfectly seasoned and full of that authentic Peruvian touch. We also ordered the fish and shrimp ceviche, super fresh and delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to. Highly recommended! 🇵🇪✨
Delicious and fast. Great pulpo and lomo saltado - not overly salty like in other places. Owner was so kind and even gave me extra fresh rice with my leftovers. Will be back!
Ameeeee
We have been to this restaurant twice and the ceviches are delicious, excellent, good flavor, fresh fish! They are “very” spicy, personally I like spicy food but if you don’t like it, you probably won’t eat it all. On the second occasion, we tried something else from the menu and ordered a stewed fish, it was ordered to take away, so we didn’t notice and when we got home we realized that the food container was half full. I don’t know if it’s because it’s for take away, if it was the case they should put a container with the appropriate portion, I don’t think that when you eat at the place they serve you so little.
This Peruvian restaurant was recommended by some friends and it didn't disappoint. The place has indoor only seating with probably 10-12 tables. Modern and simple decor. We ordered the lomo saltado and ceviche and they were very nice. Also we enjoyed the flan for dessert. Staff was very friendly. The only note was that I think the server forgot to bring us or ask if we wanted anything to drink. I guess we weren't thirsty so it wasn't a big deal. This place is kid friendly and high chairs are available.
Came here because we love ceviche and we wanted to try it out. The cuisine is definitely Peruvian, so of course had to have Peruvian beer to go with our ceviche. This place has a nice feel, and the service was good. The food was very tasty, and when we were done, they brought out dessert. We didn't even tell them what we wanted, we agreed to let them surprise us. We were very pleased we did. We liked this place a lot. Good job.
We went for dinner on Saturday night. The staff is very friendly and attentive of the outside tables. We sat outside and had a great experience (even thou staff did not wear masks, felt a bit uncomfortable). The food was delicious, served quick (as we had two kids under 2 who ere starving). Everything was eaten by us and the kids. We order lomo salteado and the risotto with lomo salteado. For dessert we had the chocolate mouse ( as we were told by waitress) but its more of a flan.
We were feinding for a light but hearty dinner option and the Parihuela seafood soup did the job. The seafood in the soup was plentiful and the broth was tasty. It came with us serving of rice that you can put in the soup but I didn't need it. We were disappointed that the octopus we wanted for appetizer was not currently available but we were able to save room for dessert. It was a passionfruit, light but delicious, flan type dessert we enjoyed. The service was good and friendly. Small, cozy dining room in good location.
Came here for the first time. Had a shrimp and fish ceviche and a jalea mixta. Restaurant is small, but looks very nice and tidy inside. Service was ok, 2 gentleman took care of us. The younger one was very attentive and helped us decide, however the older gentleman seemed in a hurry and kinda left us with a word in our mouth a few times. The ceviche was delicious, tasted fresh and light. I would definitely try a different ceviche next time. The jalea was disappointing. While the portion was very generous , the taste was not there. The tostones were not fresh (frozen from a bag) and they didn’t have any tartar sauce which they didn’t mention until the younger gentleman notice that we didn’t have any on the table. Overall it was a ok experience. We would come again and try something else.
Pro's Service was good. Food came out quickly Seafood rice was excellent Con's Seafood soup wasn't good. Taste like low quality ingredients 18% tip is automatically added to your ticket even for 1 or 2 people They can improve their cleanliness. Dirty floors, tables, and wine glasses are the few unclean areas we noticed. Price doesn't match the food quantity
Ordered food for take out. Store Website in development so no prices can be seen. I looked at menu on google and it showed ceviche being $13.99 and ají de Gallina being $11.99. I called the restaurant to order food directly and was surprised to see ceviche was $19.99 and ají de Gallina was $17.99 when I picked up the food. I called back to speak to the manager and I was hung up on. Food was very good but not worth the prices charged
The place was very well located, atmosphere, decoration and service was good and nice. The food was no as good as expected , the cebiche was overcooked and the other plates not that tasty, not bad , but still not that good . Constructive advice , use real glass. Plastic looks cheap in a restaurant .
Saterday Lunch. Party of 3. We all got different dishes and an appetizer. Flavorless, Fresh, unfussy, bland, mushy, boring food. Two men creating and serving the food. Un informative menu not in complete English- spanglish and slow incapable to communicate man server. Over $200 spent. Absolutely no reason to return.
The food prices here are not reasonable. I was surprised given that the restaurant is very small and ordinary. We ordered arroz con pollo and lomo saltado. The arroz con pollo lacked flavor, and the meat in the lomo saltado was not as good as expected, especially considering the higher price. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.
I hate to leave a bad review of a family owned business. And if the owner had taken our complaint as custructive criticism and not charged me for the food we did not eat, I would not be leaving this review. I contemplated leaving a one or two star review as we canceled our order and walked out after trying the ceviche. They use fake Lime juice. It was awful. And the rest of the menu was sparse for a Peruvian restaurant. Very sparse. Definitely not impressed. There is so much room for improvement.
The food tasted amazing. It’s good service as well. Very good Chicken Lomo Saltado but the portion are small compared to the price. They also tell you put two reviews in per table if you free desert and that’s why they get high ratings. They ask you on your first visit.
I went with my son who is 15 y old to eat his favorite Peruvian dish, Tallarines Verdes. We stop by Ceviche 595 because was the closest Peruvian Restaurant and we were already hungry. We order tallarines Verdes con Carne … we were starving so we started to eat right away and realized that it was extremely salty and on top of that warm … almost cold, or would say plain cold. We didn’t wanna bother to tell the waiter because we were starving and to send the plate back will take some more extra time, so we just ate it, then we asked for dessert, we choose Lucuma mouse. When we got the bill we we decided to mention to the waiter that took care of us that the food was cold. Very cold. And extremely salty…He answered “why didn’t tell me before” and , Did not offer even an apology. To be honest like he couldn’t care less for our experience there. I explained the reason is that we were already hungry and we didn’t want to wait more I answered, but I wanted to mention to as a courtesy and for future customersI totally felt was not fair to pay $50 for one plate and a dessert, expecting at least some kind of acknowledgement and so he’s more careful with his customers. I don’t think we have to tell , to start when you go to a restaurant you don’t expect to have a plate served cold when supposed to be hot dish. Rest assure we will never eat there again neither with family or friends. Thank you
I am so disappointed in this place and definitely DO NOT recommend it. Although it is a nice, cozy restaurant, the menu is very limited (they don't have Tallarin Verde, Aji de Gallina and other Peruvian classics) and the food is incredibly overpriced. I ordered a Lomo Saltado which was $19.95 and the portion looked like a child's meal, the Ceviche was also very small (served in some sort of soup bowl) and that was $16.95. Even the appetizers are really expensive and the place isn't gourmet at all, definitely not justified. On top of that, the service was terrible; our server took forever for everything and we had to pile the plates on the side to somewhat clear the table. So bad! The food was tasty but nothing out of this world. Don't get fooled by the positive reviews, this place is NOT good!
