Ushio Sushi

This is a hole in the wall with delicious food. The flavor makes you want to come back. I find the octopus among the top 5 in South Florida. The wild fire, Jalapeño Hamachi and salmon sashimi are worth coming back. For us, this place is a sure thing.

This place is a hidden gem. If we are in the area, we definitely visit it. The sushi is consistently delicious. I love that they use a thin layer of rice and a lot of fish. The grilled octopus is among the best in South Florida. We have never had a bad meal. On the contrary, every meal has been wonderful.

So glad I found this place. We ordered the kimchi fried rice which came with thinly sliced rib eye 👌🏻 Spicy Tuna Yuki, so fresh and had a great flavor, Seaweed salad and a spicy salmon roll I wish they had more sushi options that did not have tempura. But other than that, so great! I can’t wait to try the spicy kimchi seafood soup next. The place was spotless and our server was lovely and perfect with timing. And they serve complimentary cotton candy. So fun. Love 💕

The nova roll (bottom) and the Diablo roll (top). Both fantastic; the asparagus in the nova roll has me seeing stars, not kidding. The Diablo roll came out toasty warm and creamy it’ll make your mouth water when it’s coming toward your face lol! Also pictured the grilled octopus- grilled to perfection, supple and delicious. Also grabbed the pretty in pink (not pictured) and tbh the first couple of sips made my head spin but then it sweetened up and settled.

I had a great experience at Ushio Sushi! I ordered the Rock ‘n’ Roll, hibachi fried rice with chicken and pork, and krab rangoons — everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The food came out fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was just as good — my server was super attentive and always made sure I had everything I needed. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for great sushi and friendly service!

Everything about this place is amazing !! The food is outstanding! Nick the manager has done an amazing job at revamping this place. He’s passionate about his position and it shows in every aspect. Every server i’ve had there has been attentive and polite ! I love trying their specials they come up with and EVERY ROLL i have tried has blown my mind. By far the favorite sushi place in the area. Guyys don’t come here because I don’t want it to get too packed. WoW.. I got spoiled with good sushi in NYC and when I came back couldn’t find anything equal until now!! Fabulous nigiri (ask for ponzu sauce on side for dipping) and had crispy rice that was also fire! Didn’t even take a good picture because we were enjoying the food

My FAVORITE sushi of all time. They use fresh, high quality fish, and you can taste the difference. Every time I’m in town I have to stop by my go-to sushi place. Plus the ambiance is so cute! Don’t be fooled by outside. I love the trendy decor, beautiful decor, it makes the perfect romantic date night and I love taking my friends here. We tried the new sake cocktails and they were phenomenal.

Glad we found this place we just finished grocery shopping and got hungry We are driving by the all the food plaza and nothing looks appealing to us Not til we pulled in to this place and glad we did. Food is surprisingly good from The Pad thai to the sushi We ordered varieties so we can try a little bit of everything and let me tell you that this place did not dissapoint. Service is good too Adrianna is our server and she made sure we got the whole experience ending it with A pink cotton candy that me and the hubby enjoyed. I dont remember when was the lastime we shared sweets together but its a good sweet to finished up our meal. We will definitely be back soon and will be telling my friends about this spot.

I don't recall his name. But the gentleman who greeted me at the door. Very nice gentleman great. Unlike their competitor that's up the road that uses that imitation crab for their spider rolls. They use actually real soft shell crab. Actually give you a piece of a leg along with your roll. Which is what they should do. Ordered their new role which was just as excellent. Along with something tuna sushi. I think if you go there you'll have an enjoyable meal

This place truly deserves more attention. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell everything is made with care. The service of Adriana is amazing and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Even though it’s not always busy, it’s one of those hidden gems that are totally worth visiting I will definitely come back and highly recommend it

I went over to the take-out counter and placed my order and was told it would take 15-20min Pricing was a bit on the higher side, it was close to $40 just for the 3 items. However, what I ordered tased wonderful. The rangoons were packed with a very flavorful mixture of crab and different seasonings, it was not just the typical take out style that would just be filled with a cream cheese and bits of imitation crab, this had green onions, some shreds of carrots and lots more, it was my favorite item I ordered. As for 2 rolls: both were great, my more favorite of the two was the Snow White. I would probably dine in next time and try some of their other items, once I do I'll have an updated review.

The food was very good—really tasty and full of flavor. However, the service at our table was not great. Our assigned waiter left, and we barely saw her afterward. Another older waitress was the one who ended up helping us. The main issue was the long waiting time, especially since the restaurant was not full and had several empty tables.

Today, oct 8th I sat at table B2 around noon and the service was terrible. The waitress left without bringing napkins, never offered us coffee or dessert, and when I asked for water, she didn’t bring it. Very disappointing experience.

Very underwhelming food. We came because of the good reviews, but honestly, my daughter and I found it not good at all. Tasteless tuna, whitefish, hamachi, yellow tail and their rolls with cream cheese are overpowered in flavor by the cream cheese. Very disappointing. The only good thing was Adriana one of the servers, she's sooo nice.
