Perfect option for celiac disease and/or gluten allergies. The staff had the BEST service EVER!! They were super patient and listened to the exact needs for my daughter, who has celiac disease… On top of the service, the subs are the BEST I’ve ever tried!; they really exceeded my expectations! At the end of the day, you’re also supporting the fire department on every purchase and/or tip provided. Super recommended.

Wonderful as always! Timothy and the crew are friendly, attentive, and work together seamlessly. Having spent my whole life in the restaurant industry, I know the hidden spots that usually collect grime — the baseboards, the floor drain, under the counters, even the garbage can. Here, everything is spotless. Watch Timothy in action: he jumps up to answer the phones, cleans tables the moment a guest leaves, and checks on every patron. That kind of effort doesn’t happen by accident, and it shows. My brother is a fireman, so I also love supporting their foundation — but it’s the atmosphere that keeps me loyal to this location.

I recently visited Firehouse Subs at the Tucson Spectrum, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. The service was quick and efficient, and the team seemed dedicated to ensuring every customer felt welcomed. The subs themselves were outstanding. I ordered the "Spicy Cajun Chicken," and it was piled high with delicious chicken breast and melted Monterey Jack cheese. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the bread had the perfect balance of softness and a slight crisp. What sets Firehouse Subs apart is their commitment to quality and flavor. You can taste the care they put into preparing each sub. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was clean and inviting. The restaurant was well-maintained, and the decor paid homage to the fire service, adding a unique touch. Overall, my visit to Firehouse Subs at Tucson Spectrum exceeded my expectations. Ordered the Italian sandwich, and the bread had a perfectly toasted crunch and was filled with meats and cheese. The sandwich maker was polite and did a wonderful job! My son says he wants him to make his sandwiches every time we visit!

Firehouse is a 5 star sub shop. I am familiar with Firehouse Subs from Florida and I am glad to see that Tucson does it as well or better. I tried the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket instead of my usual Hook & Ladder and WHOA!!! This sandwich was wonderful and tasty. Like a warm hug from an old friend. The dining area was clean and open and the bathroom was well maintained. So happy to have a Firehouse here for the Tucsonan's to enjoy. Friendly staff and the sub (pictured) was assembled with care by Rosa.

I sure wish there was a Firehouse Subs near me! First time at this location, but have had their subs a couple other times. The staff here was super friendly and helpful. The facility was nice and clean. I had the Hook and Ladder sub with the loaded baked potato soup and a drink. The sandwich was fantastic! Like, seriously good. The soup was good, but just good. Maybe a little on the bland side, but still tasty and worth getting. Honestly, you wanna know what my favorite part of this meal was? That dang dill pickle that comes on the side!!! I know that sounds a little weird, but wholly smokes was it tasty. Would definitely recommend this place. There aren't any close to me or I'd be a regular for sure. Sorry I didn't get a picture of my food. I had it mostly gone before I realized I needed to get pictures.

Okay, I have been here 2.. maybe 4 times.. To be honest, I don't remember, but everyone has great customer service. always nice and greeting everyone. The place is clean! And pretty quick to order and hand out the food.. prices I would say are fair... considered other sub places, but I would definitely recommend this place if you have tried it.. Their sweets are very sweet, so just a warning if you enjoy cookies and brownies, there's are pretty good... It is kinda pricy, but it's nice that it technically gives back to fire fighters with each sub you purchase, so that's cool.. I am updating figured it needed it since I had no photos, haha

Firehouse Subs is either a hit or miss, making it overall pretty mediocre for the cost. $32 for two is pretty pricey. I only rated it 3 stars because there is no half star option and if I could I'd put it at 2½ stars.

They always make me wait 30 minutes for food which is ridiculous. Food and atmosphere are great. Workers are attentive but the wait is ridiculous.

Food safety + disrespectful staff. We came to Firehouse Subs today and it was an absolute mess from start to finish. I ordered a standard sub with NO vegetables. Simple. When the food came out, my husband and child received theirs, but mine was missing. When mine finally arrived, it was wrong -- loaded with vegetables. I sent it back and asked for a remake. The remake was worse. It came out burnt, to the point where the smell of char was overwhelming, and it was greasy and sloppy-looking. At that point, I wasn't willing to send it back again and risk eating something that had already been handled multiple times. That's not "being picky," that's basic food safety. When I was explaining this to my husband, an employee came over and asked what was wrong. I explained I wouldn't be eating it and why. She said she'd speak to the manager. While waiting, I watched the employee who brought my food walk to the back doorway where another young employee was standing -- and they were smiling and laughing about it like it was funny. (This is same girl ended up being the "owners daughter") The manager did issue a refund, but then another employee inserted herself into the situation and became verbally aggressive, announcing that "her dad's the owner." That wasn't relevant, it wasn't professional, and it didn't fix anything. The manager was already handling it. The attitude and escalation from staff made a bad meal worse. Mistakes happen. Burnt, greasy remakes happen, apparently multiples times at this location. But mocking customers and getting confrontational is a choice. We won't be back and I'll be spending all my free time letting everyone know that Firehouse Subs likes to staff young adults who cannot conduct themselves while on the clock.

I used to love this place, it really is horrible now. I have made three orders and ordered the same thing each time. They would get it wrong every time, even using different meat in the same menu item. Gross

I orderd a small cuban sub and it was literally 2 inches long. By far the worse experience ive had while dinning out. I had to go look for something else to eat because i was starving after that meal. I do not recomend this place to anyone. What a joke this place is.
