If you have never been to burger house let me school you to what the locals already know. This is it! This evening our service was beyond what you would expect from a restaurant the best dining experience we have had this year hands down! This young man standing next to my daughter was amazing.

Burger House is exactly the kind of local hidden gem everyone hopes to find. The atmosphere is simple and no frills, but the food is where they truly shine, fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings, and everything was fantastic. The burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with melted cheese and fresh toppings. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the onion rings were golden, crunchy, and full of flavor. One thing that really stood out was the generous portions, you definitely get your money’s worth here. The service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for a delicious, classic burger spot with big portions and real quality, Burger House is absolutely worth the visit. A true hidden treasure for anyone who loves a great burger!

I really enjoyed my cheeseburger. Although I ordered grilled onions but I didn't see any on my burger. The single cheeseburger was about $7 incl. tax. Friendly woman at the drive-thru. Looking forward to sampling other menu items. *Excuse the photos... eating while driving 😁

I have been here several times for lunch. The owner is also here often and is very kind and nice also. Their cheese fries are the best with their special seasoning. The burgers and fries and shakes always have a consistent taste and are served freshly cooked and hot. I have been to three of their locations and never have a complaint. They have a great menu with many options. They also have a drive thru.

I loved the food🤩 it was really fresh and the fries were perfect. I tend to not like thin fries but these were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also loved the whole vibe this place has when you walk in. The menu is a bit daunting to look at but it honestly really simple. Will definitely 💯 come again🥰

I really enjoyed the flavor and seasoning on the onion rings. I'd go back just for those. The burger was tasty as well and made to order. The quality was good for the price. The four star rating is due to service. The person at the window wasn't helpful with my questions (first-time visitor), so I wasn't too pleased with that.

I appreciate the fresh, hot homemade taste of the burger and fries. A little bit of seasoning is good almost taste like it has a chili powder flavor. It was a bit of a wait but it’s decently tasty. Burgers and fries were about $4.50 a piece.

Found this place on the way home, from work. Sometime I just want something other that a fast food chain burger and Burger House delivers. It's a quick in and out burger joint. Friendly staff and fast service for made to order burgers. Stop by an pay them a visit if you're ever near one.

The burger was amazing. The patty tasted fresh and “real,” nothing like what you get at big fast-food chains. The fries were seasoned with a spice I couldn’t quite identify, but it made them so much better. We ate in, and while the seating area was pretty basic, it was comfortable and did the job.

The food here is delicious, but the service takes it to another level. Veronica greeted me with so much patience and kindness that it didn’t even feel like a typical drive-thru experience. People like her make you want to come back again and again!

Honestly, I was impressed by the salad at Burger House in Addison. You don’t usually expect much from a burger joint salad, but it was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly good for the price. Service was quick and friendly, too. Great little spot for a casual bite that won’t break the bank.

The Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches and everything else are normally great. I love the chili cheese fries. The place is old and could really use a face lift. My biggest hangup is the blinds are absolutely filthy. Tables, chairs and floors are generally clean, but those blinds..yuck

I love the burgers and fries, I've been eating here for almost 30 years. the staff was less than pleasing. Not very friendly. The one lady just seemed to have a bad attitude.

First time at Burger House, and the food was amazing—juicy, flavorful burgers! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Sadly, the experience was let down by the dirty dining area. Grimy window blinds and unclean tables were a real disappointment for such an iconic city spot. Clean it up, and it’d be perfect!”

Very disappointing experience. Sour burgers and way too salty fries. Less than desired service. Came here because it seemed to be a local chain based on a recommendation from a friend. The employee was very apathetic and left service to be desired. When my food was done and bagged and right in front of me, instead of giving it to me he left. I thought he was going to get ketchup or something but instead he went to stack chairs and then came back to hand me the bag. It boggles to me this day why he'd do that. I was the only car in line at the drive through. I was hoping the food would make up for it but the cheeseburger was way too sour with the mustard and pickles together. The Jack's fries had promising seasoning but were way too salty. Basically inedible. I had a stomachache later that night either from the sourness of the burger, the saltiness of the fries, or both. Would not recommend.

Today was my last visit to Burger House for a long time. My issue is not with the food, but rather with the service and the cleanliness. The cashier with the hearing aid should not be working in a customer service role. She is never even remotely friendly, she is always borderline hostile. I could understand having a bad day once in a while, but she is perpetually sour and gives off a rude vibe. Not a good person to be the first face you encounter in the establishment. Other people have commented on this before but yet for some reason the people running this place don’t seem to care whatsoever. What appeared to be the manager (Sarai?) was right there at the counter next to the rude woman and had a front row seat to her behavior. Not expecting anything to change here, so moving on. This place could use a good deep cleaning. The last time this happened might have been in another decade. I understand the focus of the restaurant is on the food first and foremost, but the chairs are threadbare, ripped, and nearly falling apart. There is a caked-on layer of grease on the blinds and the windowsills. Floor tiles are cracked, which is a tripping hazard. It appears that absolutely zero of the profits are reinvested into maintenance or cleaning supplies. Meanwhile, there are employees standing around or sitting around playing on their phones when they could be out tidying things up. If what you can see of the dining room is up to standard in their minds, I shudder to think what the status of the kitchen, freezer, or HVAC systems are. This should have been a red flag for me to leave as it is a likely indicator of careless food safety standards as well. I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times over the past year and given them a chance to change. It appears that they are uninterested in doing so, and as a result, I'll be taking my support elsewhere, to other local restaurants that put more care into all aspects of how their business is run.
