We recently moved to the area and needed a new go-to TexMex restaurant. This was our third or fourth one to try. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The waiter was prompt and kept the drinks flowing. We'll definitely be back and I think it's safe to say that this will be our new go-to place when we're in the mood for more. Highly recommend.

I love El Tapatio. My chicken nachos are always delicious. The first time I saw them I laughed at the carrots on top, but it is now a welcome surprise! I love their chips and salsa. I never have any issues no matter if I'm eating in restaurant or ordering from Texoma Delivery. Always a good dinner that hits the spot when you really want a tasty meal.

This Mexican place has the the authentic Mexican food I love but they have some texmex options available too. The prices are low, and the service is faster than you will ever experience, it’s shocking actually. We love it here.

We ordered from door dash not too long ago and my husband really loved it. As a vegetarian, I didn’t see much on their door dash menu for my daughter and me. We still decided to try in person and it was amazing! They have the largest vegetarian menu I have seen in Sherman/denison and I really appreciate it! Server was friendly and funny! Our Cali friends who went with us, even added fries to their burritos and said it was wonderful. I can’t wait to try more vegetarian options here. Still so impressed especially after such a struggle to ask for modifications to dishes at other restaurants. 10/10 recommend 😊 can’t believe just trying this after 5years in texoma area. Atmosphere was nice, quiet, plenty space

Went for lunch today. All 3 meals were delicious. Service was quick and food came out timely. Ivan was our server, he was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back!

Jerry world is an incredible venue. I mean sorry AT&T stadium laugh out loud. I went there for the Kid Rock rodeo and it was a great show. Plenty of room sound was good. The Jumbotron was fabulous. It’s hard to have a bad seat when you get a TV like that look at our monitor look at like that parking was cool Like 50 bucks or higher than where you were.

We enjoyed some delicious, authentic Mexican food at this great spot in Denison. It’s conveniently located right off the highway. We were in town visiting and some local residents highly recommended this wonderful spot. We arrived for an early dinner so the dining room was not terribly crowded. The service was excellent as we were greeted by our waiter as soon as we were seated. We enjoyed some great margaritas and chips and salsa before our meals arrived. The beef fajitas and enchiladas and tacos were very tasty. The portions were more than generous. The atmosphere was welcoming and the prices were very reasonable. We had a very nice dining experience here and will definitely return next time we are in town.

I've lived in Denison five years, and this is the first time I've eaten here. I ordered the veggie quesadillas, strawberry cheese cake, and a drink. The food was good. I've never eaten a quesadilla with broccoli inside! Chips and salsa came with my order.

This was my second time visiting El Tapatio Cafe. I was so impressed by the first visit that I wanted to test the consistency... let me just say... the second time was better than the first!! I ordered the sour cream chicken Enchiladas dinner and my girlfriend had the fajitas.. both were served hot and fast abs they were so delicious! Wonderful service, too! Friendly and helpful! This is now my favorite Mexican food restaurant! Nice job!!!

Beans and rice were great. Their enchiladas are good, we tried a few different meat and sauce combinations. The rest was just OK, nothing special. Once we have tried more of the menu, I may have a different opinion.

Lady with red highlights was very unprofessional would not recommend eating her. Service was slow and horrible. We waited an hour to get served then when we finally did the lady with red highlights finally comes to take our order after she skipped us and served every table. Ask if we are ready to order and we say yes. She tells a 5 year old child “you need to be quiet so I can focus! Very rude and outrageous and began to argue with us because she has multiple tables to serve. Not our problem nor do you handle the situation like that. Very unprofessional. We tell her we want somebody else to serve us. I proceed to go find the manager as the girl with red highlights speaks in Spanish to her other coworker laughing at the manner. I then tell the nice gentleman who apologized for her behavior we would like another server and what took place. She tells us don’t ever come back. We are a loyal customer to this restaurant and to be treated by an employee who can’t handle a busy shift is not okay.

Will definitely NOT be coming back. I ordered a #21. Taco. Chalupa, and burrito. Wanted burrito no sauce. I was gonna use the salsa. I explained that when I said no sauce. Ordered a side of rice and beans. My burrito was covered in white cheese sauce. The chalupa looked like a burnt taco bell tostada with all the green and white chunks of a red tomato you're supposed to throw in the trash. The biggest disappointment was the white looking refried beans. Looked super thin. So I removed the chunk of white cheese and scooped the beans to one side. The picture I took was before I even took a bite. It's just scooped together. We basically paid extra for a tablespoon of watery beans. Waitress was nice, but she argued with the table next to us about what they ordered.

Went to try & enjoy a nice dinner, only to find a piece of raw meat in my shrimp coctail :( very disappointed server was very apologetic. Had to ask to speak to the manager or person in charge nobody came to apologize for this major inconvience

The food was good and service was good the first time I went. I went a few months later, and the food was so horrible I will never go back. I'm sure you can see how burnt the meat is in the second picture. I had to send it back, and when they replaced it, it wasn't much better. Needless to say I left hungry.
