It's a chain restaurant classic. Great location. The menu is still good and affordable. The staff are attentive. There arent a lot of restaurants at the $15 price point where the manager will ask how your meal was. It's just a good Italian place. They really do deliver that family experience. Good seats for tables of two or ten.
Went in for lunch and it was great. Service was awesome! My waiter asked me about 6 times how I was doing during the hour I was there. 2 or 3 would have sufficed. Definitely a good spot to enjoy a meal at the right price!
Can never go wrong at olive garden. First time trying the grilled chicken margherita and the chicken was perfect! No chewy bits or anything. Nice and juicy.
Always a great reliable consistant meal. Our server was superb!!!
Go every time we go to s Broadway in Syracuse show. Service is always great and personable!!
We had our anniversary meal here today. Everything was amazing! All the staff, especially our waitress Liz, were wonderful. The food was amazing, too!
An absolutely amazing experience. Aiden our server was fantastic and the manger Geoff went above and beyond. We were visiting from Canada and the service and food were above and beyond. Gluten free option was so tasty and satisfying. Geoff was even called to bring my gluten free meal separately so there was no cross contamination. Standing ovation from our whole table!!!!! Well done all around.
Fantastic experience, food was amazing, and our server Olivia was the best! Love the unlimited soup and breadsticks!
Olive Garden is one of my go to restaurants. You shouldn’t be disappointed!
This is the best Olive Garden I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to many Olive Garden locations, this one by far provided the best service I’ve ever seen. Wasn’t even close. Very clean, very fast, professional. The staff was very attentive to us throughout our meal, constantly refilling our drinks / breadsticks. Nothing but the best.
I took my friend out to dinner here tonight. She has some mobility issues. She was being brave and not using her wheel chair. When we got out of the car and she was holding my arm but a little hesitant to walk, a nice young man named Geoff came immediately out and offered to help us! He was so kind! With Geoff on one side and me on the other my friend did just fine! He was so patient and so kind! Amy was our server. She did a great job! The food was great! We had a wonderful experience. When we had finished we asked if Geoff was still around and he came right over and helped us to the car! That is going way above and beyond and we both really, really appreciated Geoff and everybody there!!! Thank you so much! Your kindness means a lot!
Very clean and staff was very friendly. I have a severe food allergy and my silly self didn't think to mention it when my friends and I were first seated. Long story short, I mentioned later on and the staff was very accommodating and careful with my food (which was delicious!) and was very friendly about the whole situation.
We had a family holiday lunch and everything was amazing! I ordered Chicken Parmesan with Fettuccine. It was cooked perfectly, served hot, and plated very nicely. The salad and bread sticks were fresh and delicious as well. The Tiramisu was amazing! Service was very friendly and top notch, the atmosphere was very clean, bright and cared for. Thank You Olive Garden Staff! I'm looking forward to returning for another visit soon.
This was the best Olive Garden experience I've had to date. I don't tend to have luck with Olive Gardens and my great experience was definitely because Megan M is an exceptional server. Truly. I'd hire her myself! She was so on top of everything and ensured that despite some long kitchen waits that she brought things to the table in a way that didn't leave us feeling hungry, overwhelmed, or forgotten. I was feeling unsure of what to order based on my dietary restrictions and she made the perfect recommendation for me. I'd come back here simply to be served by her and enjoy a nice meal. If you come here I recommend asking for her section. It will absolutely add to your experience.
I went in just for the cheese grater yesterday afternoon. I’m a tourist from the UK and my partner badly wanted one. The staff were all insanely nice, they were super kind and didn’t make me feel stupid for going. The guy who served me was also really nice and gave me a bag and some cheese to go along with it. Genuinely the nicest people out there I’ve met while travelling in this country.
My favorite restaurant ever!! Staff is always so kind and food is consistently AMAZING 😍😍😍 i come here with my friends and family as much as possible and even order delivery/takeout and it is always amazing, my fav restaurant of all time for sure.
The Food was good but the alfredo had to much garlic in it would go back again maybe they are training it started to get busy once we arrived
Olivia our server was so great! Super kind and attentive and food was awesome ◡̈
Food was great. Everyone was nice and attentive. Slightly cold in restaurant. Overall I had a great night.
Excellent service and food . Restaurant was clean and staff was attentive. Staff was trained in handling food allergies and an allergen free menu was provided.
I went with my friends to Olive Garden for the holidays. I ordered the chicken scampi with a salad and breadsticks. It was wonderful. I didn't think to take a picture of my meal but I did take a picture of my dessert--Chocolate lasagna. I took it home so I could enjoy it later in the day. It was heavenly. Go there--you won't be disappointed.
Soup and salad were absolutely delicious. Service outstanding and very clean. Looking forward to going again soon 😀
Great place, great food, good service and very reasonable prices. I go every year on my birthday.
Very delicious food, service was great and so helpful with numerous choices!
We picked up food for 50 for an event outside the catering area. The staff were friendly and helpful, pickup was quick and efficient. Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend this place. Thank you Alexis!
The service was amazing, the steak was salty but one of the supervisors came over apologized and took it off the bill 10/10 experience
Had to wait a little while for a table but it wasn’t too bad. Server was so friendly and answered our many questions. Even without the unlimited salad or soup we couldn’t finish our entrees. The portions were larger than expected for sure! Would recommend. A good stop along the way when going cross country!
Had dinner at this location last night, Oct 27. Service was absolutely fantastic. Our waitress, Megan N, was friendly, fast and perfect in every way. My wife had her usual Lasagna, and I had the steak. Food was great and good value when you consider salad is included. Wish we still had an Olive Garden in Toronto. I would have left a review on the automated screen at the table praising the service we got, but I messed it up.
Everything from the cleanliness of the establishment to the food, right along with the tremendous service. Everything was AMAZING
Showed up when it was super packed (Mother's Day). We were told it would be a 10-15min wait but we were seated within 5 mins. The waitress was super nice and constantly checked on us. The food was delivered within a reasonable time and tasted amazing. For them being so busy, I still saw smiles on the employees faces, so definitely recommend.
Our serve was amazing, she was between us and a birthday party and still did an awesome job 👏 ❤️.
My order was to go. It was super easy and simple. Quick in and out. My food was hot and delicious. It was Perfect. I did order extra bread sticks. Wise decision. Thank you to everyone at Olive Garden.
Always a good meal. My favorite is the Stuffed Chicken Marsala. Love to dip my bread sticks in the Pasta e fagioli. I have to get the Chocolate Lasagna most visits to finish off the meal. Or take one home for a late night snack.
The restaurant offers unlimited delicious soups or salades with a main course. Whether sea food or meat, the meals are composed of fresh ingredients with generous portions for a reasonable price. A perk of eating at this restaurant is the possibility to purchase frozen meals for a low price for takeout offers the possibility to enjoy a delicious Olive Garden meal outside of the restaurant walls. The restaurant is located the ground floor with easy access to the restroom for people with limited mobility. There is plenty of free parking on the perimeter of restaurant.
Dinner. Nice atmosphere created comfortable eating experience. Food was good quality. People listen and make sure to get your order correct the first time.
Writing a review here because our kiosk kept malfunctioning and died before I could do the survey. The resturaunt was crazy busy, but we were still seated relatively quickly. Food was delicious. All staff were incredibly attentive and and our server Emma was amazing.
We had a dinner out for the first time in a while, and let me say this is the best Olive Garden we’ve ever been too! They truly did not disappoint. Our server, Crystal, was very sweet and helpful. Definitely coming back!
The food was great, but our waitress Destiny made the night unforgettable! She was so kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our birthday celebration special. Thank you, Destiny!
We stopped in for a quick lunch before our flight and had a fantastic experience. Our waiter, Thomas, was attentive and efficient, ensuring we never had to ask for anything—he took care of everything from start to finish. The food arrived quickly, hot and fresh, making for a very enjoyable meal. Great service and a great lunch!
This Olive Garden location was wonderful. We were seated fast. Our appetizer was crispy and delicious, we enjoyed the red sauce and aioli sauce on the side. My Eggplant Parmesan was soft and delicious. He enjoyed his Chicken Alfredo and it tasted like they used real cream. Our waitress was probably one of the nicest waitresses I’ve ever had. She was very sweet. I definitely recommend this restaurant and location.
I was here last night with my brother. We ordered the Shrimp&Chicken carbonara, Crispy Chicken Alfredo, fried mozzarella and Shrimp Misto. The bread was super fresh the choice of soup or salad while you wait was great! The food was amazing. Our Server Sandee was fantastic I can’t stress that enough, Sandee was on her grind with multiple tables very fast, friendly and polite. Our seating was quiet and calm it was a very pleasant dining experience for my brother and myself. Will goto this location over the closer location anytime.
Enjoyed the dine-in experience at Olive Garden. The service was quick, and the food tasted great. Really liked the red sauce pasta, and the breadsticks were soft and delicious.

It's a nice olive garden. The food's great, but still, it's a chain restaurant, so nothing super amazing. Had a lovely waitress. Would definitely recommend to those familiar with Olive Garden.
Food is what it is as I do like their dishes. For this visit, however, the service was not as usual and not up to par. The waitress did not provide what we ordered until asked again for a couple of things. She did not ask if we wanted soup or breadstick refills nor beverage refills. Very disappointed in the service. Seating time was great. This review was for the Olive Garden on Erie Blvd in Syracuse NY.
Love this place. Food is always great!
Depending on your waiter/waitress, this will make or break your visit. I’ve been here three times, two of which were perfect; delicious food and no issues. Last visit, the waitress had friends dining several booths over who she spent so much time with that I eventually had to go over and ask for an update. Apparently, the kitchen had to recook the entree as it sat on the counter and she never picked it up. I’ll definitely be back as the food is great, but if we got the same waitress, I would ask to be seated in a different section.
Food was very good. Unfortunately we did not get offered additional bread or salad. We were placed in a dim area. We came before the busy time and there were may seats next to the windows which would have been nicer. Our second drink order came very late in the meal. Our hostess was serving another table nearby and I could not seem to get her attention to inquiry about them.
Very good. Not busy it was amazing!
I was out with a group for a burthday celebration. We didn't have to wait long to be seated or served. There was even a seat given for our toddler. Nice service at the front desk. Our waiter was very nice, friendly, courteous, and served with a smile. Our meals didn't take long and we were all please with the meals. He even took a group photo for us. I would return, also recommend this location to others. The female bathroom could stand a periodic check, the floor was very sticky on the way in,and inside. Otherwise it was a good experience.
Olive Garden in Syracuse, NY excels in location, service, and cuisine. The pasta dishes are notably delectable, satisfying even discerning palates. The staff is friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Ample parking and a well-maintained environment further elevate the dining experience. Highly recommended for a quality Italian meal.
All you can eat pasta. The creamy mushroom and spicy meat are the ones I liked. Along with my buddies.
It doesn't have a big variety of vegan options, but plenty of vegetarian and meat options. Pretty good tasting food. Friendly staff altogether. They make good mixed drinks too! Definitely kid friendly. They have this tablet thing on each table and my son was preoccupied with it while we waited for food- heaven sent!
We went to Olive garden Oct 19th for a Birthday celebration. Usually don't do anything on a weekday, food was good hadn't been there in a long time. Any waitresses/ waiter can get tripped up on a big order but they didn't train her properly she didn't know the difference between salmon Or chicken that's not good 🤷🏾♂️
The area where we stayed were ok, but it could be cozier.
I recently dined at Olive Garden, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The breadsticks are always a highlight, warm and buttery, with a delicious garlic flavor. I had the Tour of Italy, which included lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and fettuccine alfredo. Each dish was flavorful and satisfying, but I felt the portion sizes could have been a little larger for the price. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly, though a little slow at times. It’s a solid choice for a casual Italian meal with family or friends.
Cody, great server! Bringing class back to the Olive Garden name. Years ago, every visit was an experience with exquisite quality. Questions like "would you like a lemon with your water"and "would you like anything left out of the salad", refills of drinks and bread come easy, and thoughtfully being able to read the table.
Dined in today. Plenty of parking. We didn't have a wait. I ordered the soup salad and bread sticks. My company had the shrimp scampi. Eggplant Parm and chicken Alfredo. Everything was good..We.also had several entrees to go.The prices were extremely reasonable. The zuppa Tuscan soup was really good.
Very good per usual you can never go wrong with never ending soup and salad and breadsticks. And my pasta was very good as well I believe it is the five cheese marinara with crispy chicken fritta.

Food was alright, service was very slow, waited 25 minutes for a refill of my drink and then was charged for 2 drinks as my server stated Iced Tea/Lemonade did not qualify for free refills.

Chicken parm had fat on it the last 3 times we ate there. I typically give a restaurant the benefit of doubt for having a bad waitress or a bad night in the kitchen. The waitress was a total basket case. The card reader at our table had lettuce and dressing in the slot, she didn't care and found joy that we struggled paying by using my card in the slot. She was extremely weird the way she kept asking for my card to take in the back. She didn't feel trustworthy.
I haven't been to an olive garden since 2020. It is how I remember, frozen lasagna, the calamari was good as was the salad. The server started out decent. I was excited she looks like the hawk tuah girl. But it got worse as the night progressed. I was going to tip her $50 on a $45 tab.but her refusal to refill my drink sparked the petty in me. After she told me she was going to get a refill I waited 15 minutes. Then I started taking $1 off the tip for every minute I didn't have a drink. Well long story short her tip went from $50 to $1 and I never got my drink. Hawk tuah you got to do better than that.
when I came in and sat down i waited 10 minutes before anyone came over the staff just walk by like we don't see you , So as i went to get my bag a waitress came over had an attitude talking all harsh ...She brought my food out bread was hard salad didn't have enough dressing on it !so I ate the calamari and pack my dinner and brought it home . oh a manger did come by just saying hello but this place can be better to those they want to wait on but ha am new to the neighborhood was just wanting a home cook meal......
Its ok. A week later I saw on TV that irs the 3rd worst chain restaurant. Nothing is freshly made.
They add $3.79 to add Broccoli in a pasta dish??? I’ve never seen one single place that does that. Their steak is no good, pasta is not bad. Overall mid-experience.
Ordered six ounce steak with fettuccine, which I've had before and which was perfectly done and delicious. This time, not so much. Always ordered steak medium, this time steak came out almost well done. I didn't say anything because my wife had her meal and I didn't want to wait for another steak to be prepared while she was already eating.
Food was ok. I had the salmon. Fairly good the crust on top was a little hard but the rest of the meat was good. Did not care for the broccoli seasoning it was very salty. They were kind enough to bring me another bowl 🍜 of plain broccoli. Service was quick. Soup was good I had the chicken and gnocchi. Could have been warmer.
I recently had dinner at Olive Garden and left with mixed feelings. The service was excellent—our server was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the meal. That kind of hospitality really stood out and made the experience enjoyable. However, the food itself was typical of what you’d expect from a large chain restaurant. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which had a good flavor, but the portion size felt small for the price. The shrimp appetizer was also tasty, but noticeably salty, which took away from the overall enjoyment. The Chicken Gnocchi soup was the biggest letdown. It had a bland flavor and the texture was somewhat off—more mushy than creamy. It didn’t really live up to the rest of the meal. Overall, while the staff delivered great service, the food didn’t quite justify the cost. Prices seemed high for dishes that, while decent, didn’t feel fresh or inspired. If you're going for a casual meal and appreciate reliable service, it’s a decent option. But if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience or higher-quality ingredients, you may want to look elsewhere. 5 stars for the strong service, but 3 stars for okay food - nothing that truly wowed.
On the recommendation of one of the restaurant's staff, I ordered the Shrimp Scampi which comes with chopped micro asparagus and small pieces of tomato over angel hair pasta. Unfortunately, the dish was disappointing. Although it had a good number of small shrimp and properly cooked pasta, the sauce was under seasoned and, to my taste, needed much more garlic. Visually, the unorthodox additions of tomato and asparagus to this classic dish gave it vibrant color, but only the tomato enhanced the flavor. The asparagus did not work well with the other ingredients and would have been better served as a side of whole spears. Meals come with a choice of salad or soup. I chose the salad with Italian dressing. That was very enjoyable. The bread sticks were soft and doughy, and lightly coated on the outside with melted garlic butter so your hands become greasy. In my opinion, they would be well advised to skip the sticky butter coating, and offer butter at the table to spread with a knife. Our server did a good job.
A family member of mine works here and has for many years and we decided to patron this restaurant because of that and have a pleasant meal. However, my family and I attended ( we didn't receive a family discount as we had hoped) and we actually received very poor customer service. And I must say that one we did consult with the manager they really didn't have much input or seem to really be concerned with the following. [First off, we did ask for water, the water tasted so bad that we could not even drink it!! I don't know what exactly is wrong with the water but it was terrible! The first waitress that waited on us was not on time with our breadsticks or drinks. And when she did bring us the basket of breadsticks there were three of us, but there were ONLY three breadsticks in the basket (what!) and I asked her "there's only three breadsticks can't we have more", and before she gave a response she turned around to leave and I said, "wait can't we have those breadsticks you have" and she replied, "no you won't like them they're burnt". Why in God's name would you ever deliver burnt breadsticks to a table to begin with!! Everything that is to be delivered to a table first and foremost (as the waitress you must verify the order is correct, the items ordered, the appearance and or with ingredients per customers' request), YOU NEVER deliver anything to a customer's table if it is not according to their order, No exceptions!! This is based upon my professional experience with over 40+ yrs. in the industry of Hospitality. And I too, use to work for Olive Garden years ago. The drinks were very late in arriving to the table. The Manager did come out and ask when I asked for him if there was a problem, I did mention to him first off the water was horrid could they please give us bottled water, I was told that the water was just the tap water and nothing else was offered as an option. Dave, the Manager never offered us any other type of water not even bottled water which I would not have wanted to pay for anyways. My family ordered soda, (I don't drink soda and had nothing) a premium drink was also ordered. Dave did mention to us that he had changed our server. The replacement server that we received afterwards, did a very good job, our main courses did arrive in a timely fashion, server did offer us the cheese, and he did come back to check on us to see if everything was satisfactory. The entrees were very flavorful, We ordered Tour of Italy and also 🍝 Spaghetti with meatballs! The Tour of Italy which includes Chicken Parmesan (which this meal my sister and I split) and I found the chicken parmesan to be pleasantly tasteful, my 1st time trying it. But as far as returning to this Olive Garden, I'm leery of any future visits. Should you decide to visit this establishment be sure that your order comes exactly as you requested and you might want to avoid drinking the water, bring your own!

Went here Thursday, July 17th, 2025 for takeout. I have since been going through the worst bout of food poisoning I think I've ever had. Hasn't killed me yet though, so 2 stars.
Waiter was overstretched and frazzled felt bad for her as she was clearly without enough support but stayed pleasant despite it all. Was a little rough as we had to flag her down for what we needed as she didn't have time to do refills or anything due to other demanding customers. I realize the service industry took a hit after covid but these businesses need to do better as they will have zero employees if they leave them all out to dry like this.
Arrived for a ridiculously early dinner, 3:30pm. I’ve counted six customers, and 9 employees wandering about. We have been told it will be a 5-10 minute wait for a seat. Short staff doesn’t seem to be the issue. Will update when seated. So, as it were, it’s been 20 minutes and I peaked at their seating screen and there is only four tables filled at the moment. It’s an endurance test now just to see how long we sit here. They could have handed us menus or something… We’ve hit the 30 minute mark! Whoooo 32 minutes and we’ve got a table! Our server seems nice. We went super easy with the order - soup/salad/breadsticks and the tour of Italy. We’ve tried to email the manager directly to address these issues. All our emails have been undeliverable. He just popped back by and said the tour of Italy would be right out. Our server is the only good part about this experience. He alone earns the second star. Also the chicken was rubbery
We got there a little after 8pm closes at 10pm. The waitress was soo checked out. Very rude!!! We usually go here every yr this time due to having beef cows at NY state fair that show. This last experience here will probably be our last.
They had my server in multiple areas so it made my service not up to par. I don't blame her as it happens but it made it difficult for her to be attentive and my soup order was not right once. I never even got what I ordered. Alfredo is ridiculously over priced. As many things are these days but $21 is absurd. Won't be going to another olive garden for quite a while if at all again. Just awful. Not the first time it's been like this either 😭.. such a shame

I had a very disappointing experience at Olive Garden. Our server was extremely rude, ignored us multiple times, and made us feel completely unwelcome. She never said ‘thank you,’ barely acknowledged us, and acted as if we were an inconvenience. Dining out should be a pleasant experience, but this visit was anything but. I hope management addresses this behavior, because no guest should be treated this way.”
I recently dined at Olive Garden, and let me just say, it was a culinary disaster. As if the overpriced, mediocre fare wasn't enough to ruin my experience, they managed to forget the star of the show: the infamous breadsticks. How can a restaurant touting "endless" breadsticks forget them entirely? The whole experience left me so hungry for… well, breadsticks and decent service. Olive Garden, you’ve officially taken the term “dine and dash” to a new level. I’ll be steering clear of this faux-Italian fiasco in the future.
"I was very disappointed in my visit to Olive Garden. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were being treated differently than other customers. The service was lacking; I felt unwanted. It was slow and dismissive, and we felt ignored. To make it worse, the staff was outright disrespectful: they didn't respond when we said thank you, and when we asked questions, they acted as if they didn't hear us. I told them how I felt, yet they just sat there laughing. I don't want to speak for all the waitstaff, because I know shifts change, and I'll add that the manager was the only respectful person there. I couldn’t enjoy my food and had to get up and leave. I'll never know why they were so upset with us from the moment we walked in, but I know for sure that I will never come to this restaurant again."
Told 25 to 30 minute wait, fine. Waited 45+ minutes watched people that came in after us get seated ahead of us. Decided to enquire at the host stand, we weren’t even in the wait list. Bummer, things happen i can deal. We were seated immediately, about 20 minutes at the table we finally got a server. Cool, we were still good we went out understanding we were going to wait. Placed our order all in one shot, appetizer, drinks and entrees. Cool, we were ready to eat at this point. Fast forward another 30 minutes… water and ice tea… honestly, if you’re too busy to serve the people you are seating the right thing to do is stop seating. We ended up just leaving after being blatantly ignored for the better part of 2 hours. I get that you’re a large corporate chain and my thoughts, opinions and feelings are insignificant to your business as a whole, but just consider doing better.
Where to start… First we got seated after a long wait and it took about 15 minutes before we even got acknowledged by a waitress to take our drink order. When we did eventually place our order our appetizers of soup and salad took half an hour to get out to the table with cold breadsticks. By the time they dropped off our appetizers, we still had no utensils and had to go flag some random waiter down to get some for the table. When we got the utensils one of the forks and knife sets had old, dried crusty lettuce stuck to it which means that the dishwasher didn’t even bother washing utensils properly. After we got that straightened out our entrees came out before we could even dig in to the appetizers…. Food was good but service mouth dropping bad. I get places are short staff but some things are just unacceptable.
Not impressed, had a good experience in the past, went to dinner on February 3rd, salad always good, entree, unimpressed, got tour of Italy, portion half the size I remember, the piece of lasagna was burnt and the chicken parmigiana was over done and very very dry, I will not be back anytime soon
Never received my order, I waited a hour and a half for my $100 order and they never showed. I cancel , very disappointed.
I ordered the shrimp fritto misto and a coke to my home and when I received my order my shrimp were doughy and not fully done. I also did not receive my drink. When I called the store the manager tried to tell me that my food was not undone after expressing that it was. After having a debate I was compensated for my order.
Probably thee most disgusting food and drink (long island) I have ever come across. I didn’t eat it and will never go to another Olive Garden. Also, our food looked NOTHING like the pics posted in the reviews which makes me suspicious as to wether they are legitimate.
I was in town on a business trip and had to eat dinner alone. I noticed that people who came in after me were getting served and even received food before a waitress acknowledged me. She took my order and disappeared. Later as she walked by asked if everything was good. I told her that I didn't appreciate being ignored. She didn't even stop walking and gave a lame excuse. If you are single I would pass on this restaurant as they would rather serve groups that yield more tips. Shocking how rude for a large chain.
