So good! We got the Mediterranean and the southwest crepe with the peanut butter crepe and lemon crepe for dessert. loved the combo so we got half and half. Everything was delicious! I can't imagine any of the other items being any less delicious. It came out hot and fresh. The inside is cozy, so if it's busy you might need to sit outside but they have tables and heaters outside.
Service is great. Not saying this in a bad way but everyone is deaf and communication consists of pointing so this may be challenging for some. Luckily had someone in our group who knew sign language. The food was great. The cinnamon sugar option was rather sugary. Not many places to sit. Will definitely go back.
I absolutely love Crepe Crazy! I have eaten here multiple times and all the food is always so fresh, large portions and taste great! They also have amazing lunch specials! The staff is always so friendly! Highly recommend!
The food was amazing! Super fresh and flavorful. I had the Scandinavian. The kids had a pizza crepe (of course right) and a grilled cheese. They agreed the food was awesome. Definitely recommend this place. There are plenty of options in sweet and savory categories you’re bound to find one you’ll live!
Awesome experience! The people are exceptional; the Staff is talented and very warm. The menu items are all delicious. A special place, indeed.
We had a beautiful birthday breakfast in the rain, relaxing on the nice patio they have. The food was beyond yummy!! The energy of the establishment could not be any more calm & chill! The prices are extremely reasonable too!! This will be a regular stop when heading out to the Hill Country from here on out! *Also, friends in the ASL community, please come support these great ppl!!
Everything we got here was excellent, so much so we went back a second time on our weekend trip out to the hill country. The breakfast crepes, the savory crepes, and desert crepes all were excellent. And the cappuccino and dirty chai were excellent as well, better then most coffee places for sure. Only downside is the speed as it takes about 20-30 minutes for the food to come out, but you can order ahead. We were not in a hurry so it was perfect and the patio area was well suited to the wait. We will definitely make a point to go here again when out in the hill country.
Popped in last night to grab dessert as we are new to town and just happened to see it while driving by! What a lovely place with lovely people and phenomenal crepes! We can’t wait to return! ☺️
Great food selection. Very special place. I highly recommend. Inside or outside options.
Love this restaurant and come every time I'm in dripping springs. Food is delicious. Can often have a huge line because it's so popular, so id love to see them move to a different location just to accommodate more guests.
Wonderful food. The savory and sweet combo is delightful. We’re definitely going back to try more of their selections.
Stopped in this morning for brunch, there was only one lady working and she was absolutely covered up, but she never stopped working and got our orders out as promptly as she could. While our order was not complete it was very good food with a generous portion. Would definitely recommend and be willing to try again.
I walked into the restaurant and noticed the quiet atmosphere. When I ordered the food there was a lot to choose from. The chef responded in ASL and it all made sense. This restaurant was ran by the deaf community. The food was amazing. The Service was incredible and if you love a good quiet atmosphere to enjoy. Crêpe Crazy is the best restaurant for you.
We came in from out of town. We were looking for some coffee and came across this place. The staff is friendly, coffee is so good, and the food is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend for anyone from out of town!
Menu options for everyone and delicious!! Highly recommended
This place is amazing and I super appreciate what they do here! The staff is deaf and/or hard of hearing and I really appreciate that the store is set up to make it accessible and efficient for them to work. The staff is phenomenal! Thank y'all for such great service and your patience with patrons! The food is absolutely delicious - I did not get any pics because I was positively famished (forgot breakfast, silly me!), so I ate my crepes ASAP! I highly recommend getting the pick 2 special they have because it's the perfect portion size and you get to try 2 different options - great for folks on the fence for savory or sweet crepes (like me). I got the chicken and mushrooms crepe and the caramelized apple and vanilla cream crepe. They were both equally delicious and definitely gave me my fix of savory and sweet. I would order both of those again if I wasn't ready to try everything on the menu! But I will say, they were really solid choices. Thanks for your service and a great lunch!
I love this place! Every crepe we were served was a visual and sensory delight, and the staff was jovial! So much respect to these fine chefs!
The crepes are excellent. Such a wide variety of options and very delicious. Consistently great fresh food. Surprised by the large amount of food; and so good!
Deaf owned community! The food looks amazing and tastes just as great. You have to point to what you want, but they also have a kiosk for quick and easy ordering. Great place
Update July 2024: Still delicious!! This place is run by hearing impaired and they hire others like them. That in itself is fantastic! The crepes are absolutely delicious and huge. Highly recommend!! I absolutely love this place! I would consider myself picky for the price and this place is anywhere from $7 to $10 per crepe, but really could feed two to three people. You can get a Savory crepe and a sweet crepe and share for a perfect date. No cash excepted and is accessible. Definitely recommend!
Love this little place !! The staff are so kind and the food is just awesome!! Have returned a few times and never disappointed!!! A must try in Dripping Springs!!! All of the crepe offerings are yummy!!!!
This place is amazingly good. We stopped by for a dessert to share, it was 250pm and the staff still welcomed us in. I wrote it down that we didn't want to bother them but they jumped into action and made our order. My wife and I loved it here, it was the best dessert we've had in a while...
Great experience with my family this morning at Crêpe Crazy. The food was fantastic! My wife & I both had the “California Deamin’” with hers being the gluten-free version. I added a balsamic glaze that put mine over the top!!! The kids loved their S”mores crepes as well. We loved the environment, appreciated the excellent service, and absolutely enjoyed the very evident commitment of the owner/team!
Amazing food!!!! Just a diamond in the ruff. Turkey Paninis and the chicken and mozzarella soup is well above a 5 Star!!!! The strawberry-wild-berry and creme crepe is mouth watering and just hits the spot with the delicious creme. If you drive by this place and don’t give it a try; even though you may have to wait 10 minutes to have everything prepared FRESH and delicious- we’ll then keep truckin’ BEST SERVICE AND FOOD WITHIN 50 MILES!!!!
Excellent Crepes with buttery texture, well seasoned and delicious, will 100% recommend this place , also the food came out quick!
I adore this little place. My favorite is the Scandinavian with lox and capers. So good. Soft and delicious. Lovely staff. They work hard for you. Indoor and outdoor seating. They offer Paninis too for those not into crepes. AND for those of you gluten free, you can ask for gf batter for your crepes!
Delicious crepe!! Nice size portion, love the option to build your own. Great ingredient quality, really recommend!
Very tasty turkey panini l, chicken and mushroom crepe and peanut butter crepe were all great.
Super delicious crepes at great prices. That staff was really friendly
Amazing food and fantastic coffee. We went for brunch and had their Fiesta Morning Crepe and their Brown Sugar Cinnamon Sweet Crepe with strawberries. Don’t pass on an iced almond milk caramel latte. My husband had a cappuccino and said it was fantastic. There are a million places to go for brunch and they all serve the same thing, so coming here was special and we’ll definitely be back!
I visited this location last weekend. It was delicious! Perfect service, kind staff and food was excellent!!
Luckily saw this place passing through Dripping Springs. Liked everything about it. Great choices of savory or sweet crepes and drinks; plenty of other mouth-watering sandwiches, too. Fresh, healthy. Good service. Reasonably priced. Very good experience. I'd probably even go out of my way to visit again.
Great little offbeat Cafe. I stopped here for a coffee and a bite on my way to the airport. Service is great and the food is excellent. The Cappuccino was frankly superb. Prices are just a touch on the high side, but that's more than made up for by the superior quality of what's on offer. I'll be doing here again, next time I'm in the neighborhood.
We have a creep place at home. This was just as good. The Nutella was warm strawberries were fresh . Worth it!
Lovely experience. I didn’t notice the sign on the wall coming in that tells you to point to what you want on the menu. Staff here is deaf. A child seated at a nearby table filled me in. We ordered the Ham & Swiss savory and a lemon Sweet and shared both plus we each had a lavender lemonade. The lemon did have a gritty texture in spots like maybe undisolved sugar. Outdoor seating available. Be prepared, they do not accept cash.
This place was delicious! I tried the nutella crepe with strawberries, and it was very good. My husband tried the s'mores crepe and loved his as well. I tried a mocha, and it was honestly one of the best mochas I have ever had, even better than some specialty coffee shops! The staff was very friendly, and our order came out quickly. We will definitely be back on our next Dripping Springs visit!
Our first time here! We’ve passed it many times but this morning my son had a craving for Crepes and we drove 12 miles to get some. My son says thumbs up to the Nutella Royale (Crepes with Nutella and chocolate) and the strawberry banana smoothie. The coffee is good too.
The food was great. The service was interesting. The workers are deaf. So when you go in and start to talk to them, they will direct you to the electronic kiosk. My wife and I really enjoyed or meal.
Very good food and absolutely delicious. I got the smore's crepe there yes it was absolutely delicious and it was great! The food was delicious and the service was awesome! The people there are also deaf but it is great and I'm glad they're able to get a great job. Its an awesome little place!
I am terrible about photos but i was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! Best Cappachino I ever had! My kids had a savory salmon and I had the Turkey Avocado. Both were excellent😁
If you are ever in Dripping Springs please visit Crepe Crazy, specifically this one. The owners are wonderful. They treated elderly mom and I so well. We left there feeling like we was family. My mom loved the strawberry lemon angel crepe. So did I. I got the Nutella crepe and it was delicious. I now have two crepe flavors that I love.
The prosciutto and apricot jam crepe, as well as the turkey and avacado crepe, were delicious. The lattes we had were very good too. The service was spot on and very friendly. The outdoor dining area was perfect. Bonus while we were eating, we saw deer grazing across the street from us. Kudos to owners / staff who are hearing impaired but have made a wonderful business idea work so well. This is a definite repeat treat when we are in town.
We went on a weekend and the place was packed. The place is run by people with impaired hearing, so be patient when placing your order. We ordered 2 crepes - a savory chicken mushroom crepe and a sweet dulce de leche crepe. Both the crepes tasted great. The chicken crepe came with a small side salad and the tomato pesto sauce went will it. We devoured the sweet crepe. We got it with ice cream on the side which made it even better Would definitely be back to try other crepes, everything on the menu looks delicious
This was my favorite breakfast on our trip. Very fresh and high quality crepes. My carnivore father felt it too healthy for his liking, but my mom and I loved it! It is run by a deaf group, which I wish we had known when entering because I would have made better contact with my face when ordering. I wasn't aware and thought maybe they just didn't speak English, and I felt badly afterwards when a local told me. It is a very small establishment. But definitely give it a try because they have so many options! I highly recommend the apple and Brie crepe!
This place is fantastic!! My son taught me some signs before we went! I did have to Google a couple to really let the staff know the food was delicious!! I had the Scandinavian crepe-the combo of salmon , and red onion was just sensational. We will make the drive here again! Staff is friendly and awesome! Hubby had the sweet crepe. He couldn't stop raving about it. First time here, but definitely not the last! 🤟👐🏻👍🏻
Hidden Gem!!! My friends came across Crepe Crazy on yelp and we just had to try it!! It's a small building with a few tables inside but tons of outdoor seating with a dog-friendly patio. The food was DELICIOUS! I had a Chicken Basil Pesto crepe, and got a Nutella Royale to go! Both were amazing!! Anytime I'm in Dripping Springs, I'll be back!
My family loves this place. The gluten free options are delicious. I visit the Dripping Springs location whenever I am visiting town or passing through to Johnson city or Fredericksburg. My personal favorite is the Ham and Cheese crepe and the strawberry blitz. I usually drink decaf but they only serve regular coffee drinks there so I order a regular mocha but small size. Friendly people. Popular place.
Drive by here all the time and finally stopped! They were busy and we still got our food really quickly! Staff was friendly and our food was delicious. I know you come for crepes but the Prosciutto Basil Panini was phenomenal! The Crepe of the Month: Thyme, Pear, with Bacon Jam was savory and well balanced. The Lemon Zest Dust Sweet Crepe was perfect, I'm a lemon head. The Lavender Lemonade was great! Not too strong but still nice and tart! A must try for brunchy food in Dripping Springs!
Delicious crepes... super cute and quaint. Oh my goodness - my daughter was in heaven when her food arrived and she savored every bite. My Cobb salad was delicious also!! Update one month later... my daughter keeps begging me to take her here. Unfortunately it is a bit of a drive for us but honestly if she could eat here every single day for the rest of her life she absolutely would.
The crepes were really good and they have a big variety of flavors. They also have other items (croissants, cafés, milkshakes, smoothies). It's a little shack so don't be surprised for the wait! We were told to wait 45 mins approximately but then it turned 1.15h for getting our food. It's a little bit pricey though
Pretty good but nothing amazing. I got the lemon zest crepe and I could barely taste the lemon. I expected more bursts of lemon with every bite. I added strawberries to the inside and they were halved strawberries, which I think were too big. I would have preferred bite size. The whipped cream didn't have much flavor but a good consistency and it seemed homemade. I also ordered a bagel with cream cheese and the bagel tasted like old oil, it was a very unappetizing flavor. It took a while for the take out order but I could see everything being made fresh on the stove from my seat in the dining room. The place was small but very clean. The employees were very nice. Overall a good place to eat but not amazing.
I have only had 1 order, Florentino Crépe, and sadly I'm 'criticizing' if a nouns van be made into a quasi-verb (when I try healthier meals) - there was nothing wrong with the Crepe - per se- however there was too-too much Ricotta....I peeled it open and was about 1/4 inch thick. I know some want 'more for their $$' - but it's a Crepe(!!) - the mushrooms were actually wet (from can?!) - not 'sautéed' (!!). Mushrooms are only #2, behind olives-personally, and so that was the 2nd reason and 2nd star I removed. If they had actually taken a shrim-pan with some cooking oil & flipped the mushrooms a few times...I may not have complained : just the overload of Ricotta and soggy mushrooms make the bread break/split - I wasn't going yo have 'straps of crepe'to finish this...I wish they would have marinated the spinach si ce it was branded due to the mushrooms wet & Ricotta overload. Perhaps spreading the Ricotta & toasting then adding sautéed mushrooms * then the spinach would be a better order of composition. I think it was...wamred/cooked bread, spinach, pasted-ricotta & topped w/mushrooms. I'm not saying it had a bad or worse flavor - it had none - it was branded due to poor preparation technoque and how it was composed. The side spinach was not washed. Meal has great potential, just flavor was missed due to the order of it's composition.
I want to acknowledge and respect that this restaurant is operated by individuals who are deaf, and I appreciate the inclusivity it represents. However, waiting 50 minutes for two crepes without any communication or apology was disappointing. While the food is consistently good, the service experience significantly detracts from the overall visit.
Okay, like others I actually love this place. We appreciate the hearing impaired staff and the service. The food is great like other reviews point out. However today I noticed the cashier took my order then went to make my salad. He did not wear gloves or use tongs. He used his bare hands without gloves and put the salad together. All this after he rang me up and touched the touchscreen monitor. Given it's 2022 and the importance of cleaniness by practically everyone, I did not appreciate this process and was turned off. I would love to see management improve this process and properly train the staff. I am happy to revisit this review and improve the ratings if there is a response or change in process.
i appreciate this place giving people with hearing impairments jobs but the absolute lack or customer service at this place is insane lol. no smiles nothing. worst matcha ive ever had lol it looked like a smoothie with the amount of matcha chunks 😭 could not drink it. Also the staff was forgetting peoples orders sitting around us/long wait time for drinks/food. probably won’t be revisiting.
Zero hospitality. Crepes were so so. For a $70+ breakfast for 2 parents and small kids.. we're trying something else next time visiting the Drip.
Their website stated they close at 8 PM. We arrived before 7 PM on 1/25. We drove over 30 minutes to enjoy a crepe at this location, only to have an employee shut the door in our faces just as we were about to enter. A simple 'Sorry, we're closed' would have sufficed. Never again.
I am a local and enjoy the idea of crepes. On my last 3 visits, today including, my crepes were tough and cold. I order 1 savory and 1 sweet to go. The crepes seem like they are not made fresh..made ahead and sit until filled...fillings also cold. Neither were warm at all. I no longerrecommend them.
I cannot recommend.I was very excited to see this place, and equally disappointed. A crepe is a light, fork tender delicacy, filled with sweet or savory concoctions. The end result here was a hard, crunchy, unpalatable crust, similar to a tortilla that has been baked off. Great menu, poor execution.Kitchen was too small to handle the drive thru, inside and outside seating. Several orders had to be redone while I waited.
They lack hospitality. Additionally we waited over 30 minutes and they gave us the wrong crepe: some sort of Nutella crepe instead of the sweet cheese delight. The bland looking crepe is the Nutella one. If it was the Nutella one it was missing whip cream, chocolate sauce and they added strawberries. If it was the sweet cheese one it was ALL messed up! My crepe was tasty and the kids liked theirs.
Rating is based on staffing as i couldnt even eat here. They were overwhelmed with nkt many people already dining or waiting. Stood in line for 10 minutes to place an order and then when I got to the counter no one acknowledged me and when someone finally did they pointed to a digital kiosk at the front and walked away.
