Can’t overstate how good my evening in La Maison was. Staff amazing, efficient and friendly. Food might be the best I’ve ever had in Dublin. I had the French onion soup and the rack of lamb, both stellar. For dessert the crème brûlée lived up to the hype. Will definitely be back.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Dublin in a long time.. food was off the charts, credit to the chef 10/10

Great French classics and fantastic service, with outdoor seating. Really enjoyed my business lunch there.

I went here craving French onion soup. The food was absolutely amazing, I loved everything. It wasn't just "okay" or "acceptable", I would go back to eat there. We got some black and white chocolate in the end as we were too stuffed for dessert. The atmosphere feels kinda fancy, everyone was dressed up, it's nice. The only downside is that the tables are a bit too close, I felt like I could almost hear what the people next to me were talking 😬

The staff are very polite and helpful. The service was excellent, the food was fabulous. Due to space constraint the tables are a bit close to each other ; however the staff are always around to assist and have less movement around.

La Maison in Dublin easily became one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin after having one of the most memorable dinners I’ve had in a while. The quality of both the food and the service was outstanding. To start, we ordered the scallops which were beautifully cooked and retained its delicate flavours and textures. For our mains, we got the halibut which was cooked to perfection in my view and also their duck which was super tasty. For our dessert, we got the cheesecake which was also excellent. We really had a great time at La Maison!

Delicious yet simple food. The chicken was beautiful

Albeit the dishes and flavors are very traditional, without frivolities or surprises, everything was very tasty and well executed. I had a 3 course dinner, starting with good scallops, a decent steak with a side of one of the best fries I ever had. I finished the dinner with a delicious custard tart. The service was great and the staff friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend anyone to try it out and I plan to return soon.

Just absolutely amazing food and great service. We went here for out last evening in Dublin, and what an amazing place to end up. Can only recommend going here.

Another perfect meal in La Maison. Onion soup delicious, ham hock terraine and scallops perfectly cooked. For mains striploin steak fab flavour, duck and halibut all beautiful. Leanne at front desk calmly dealt with a booking date error. Loved this spot and will be back

Absolutely in love with this place! Very atmospheric and authentic. Staff simply amazing, competent and professional. Neat menu, amuse-bouche is a nice touch. Ordered duck and venison as mains and finished with creme brulee and tarte de pommes, an absolute delight. Generous selection of drinks, fresh and tasty cocktails. Overall highly recommended 👌

Everything we ate was super delicious, the staff is very nice and pleasant. The only problem was that we came with a baby and they did not have a high chair, but in general, if you want to have a great night with delicious food, definitely recommend!

It was our second time in La Maison and we will be back for more ! The food is so good and I could easily recommend everything on the menu. The service is one of the best in town and the place itself is very cozy. Perfect for a special occasion but make sure to book ahead.

Great French restaurant that adeptly fuses traditional French dishes with local ingredients and Irish touches. The food service, and ambiance were great, and I will happily return! I ordered the French onion soup, coq au vin, and chocolate and hazelnut tarte. Like Edith Piaf, je ne regrette rien!

My first time in a French restaurant and the experience was wonderful. Food was amazing and equally supported by the service. My girlfriend is from Marseille and it was her birthday. We sat outside as the night was quite pleasant. Appreciate the fact that smoking is not allowed in the outside seating area! As soon as we got the starters we fell in love with it. Scallops and beef tartare just melts in your mouth. It was little expensive but compared to some of the other French restaurant, it was not as expensive but worth every penny. Highly recommend it!! We will definitely visit again!

Great restaurant in the middle of all the bars and restaurants. Had a really good meal, especially the rack of lamb was super. Cozy atmosphere and enthusiastic staff. 4 stars for service because we did miss a few “etiquettes” (for the price level), but besides that a nice place to go!

Excellent place to eat French cuisine in town with various specialities, and numerous choices of seafood. The place is very charming, and quiet, which is ideal to spend a nice evening and have a conversation. Service was excellent, and we had the chance to talk a bit with the wine specialist, explaining us how he selected wines, and recommending us good wines to go along the plates. Food was great, and the "pâté" is definitely what you want to try in the entrance menu, as they bring a huge platter of different varieties and allow you to choose from or to select a bit of all.

I would give it more than five stars, I really enjoyed my stake and the atmosphere of the place was amazing. The staff were so friendly they made our experience much enjoyable. They have blankets and heaters for the outside tables. Will visit again for sure 👍🏻

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Thursday and certainly a great choice. La Maison menu is just right and nails the Brasserie feel. Portions are good and certainly a nice bit of inventiveness in the dishes. I tried fish of the day which was a mid size fillet of halibut served with absolutely delicious Sweet Potato and cheese gratin. My wife had mussels followed by risotto both of which she could not look up from! I enjoyed a very nice Belgium beer and my wife two generous glasses of wine, service was exquisite and combined with a tasteful interior La Masion should be on you list for a taste of French excellence. Don’t forget to leave enough time to enjoy desert and perhaps a second bottle of wine!

Went in for a set menu with my partner. We had cod croquettes and French onion soup for starters, as for mains we got the cod and the chicken, and creme brule for dessert. As for the starters they were very good. The croquettes had a delicious sauce alongside them and the soup was full of flavour. Just be aware that it has cheese that sticks to the spoon. The chicken main was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. Loved that the chicken was very juicy. The cod was also very well cooked and tasted amazing. The creme brule was tasty but it was cold. I personally prefer mine to be warmer. Overall it was an amazing meal and experience. Well worth it.

Excellent restaurant on so many levels. Atmosphere is very special as is the food. As an appetizer we shared the scallops. The maître d’ told us they have been in the menu for 15 years and I understand why. I had the Coq au Vin and my husband had the Venison Loin. He said his was one of the best restaurant meals he has had in many years. We travel frequently and enjoy (and cook) fine food so this is a massive compliment. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Dublin. Photos don’t do the restaurant justice. Multiple rooms and levels so it feels very intimate.

I was here on Monday. The foie gras and the venison tenderloin were absolutely divine. The interior was endlessly romantic, and the service was as pleasant as it could possibly be. I paid far less than I expected — in fact, incomparably less than what the entire experience truly deserved to cost.

I visited this restaurant recently for my annual Christmas reunion with friends and was pleasantly surprised by how good the entire experience was. The service and atmosphere were excellent, and the food was amazing. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal dinner spot in Dublin. One of the best French meals we have ever eaten. Flavors were delicious and complex. Valentina was a wonderful waitress and recommended the apple tart for dessert…wow! We are planning to visit another time before we leave.

The food here is always incredible, and the service today from Giuseppe was especially attentive and top-notch. Hands down one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin! I had the cod today and it was perfection. The atmosphere, the music, the whole vibe—absolutely chef’s kiss.

Everything about La Maison was charming and perfect. Starting with the home made pesto (paired with bread) when you sit down, to the home made chocolate you receive with the check. The details were impeccable at this cute little French restaurant on the end of a busy street. The decor was quietly upscale and every bite of food was delectable. My table shared the fois grad appetizer, which was delicious. We also had the duck, halibut, and venison between us all. Everything was perfectly prepared. I would highly recommend a stop at La Maison!

All the dishes were amazingly delicious, scoring 9.5 out of 10. With a variety of wines 🍷 I ordered coquilles Saint-Jacques (scallops), and they also scored a perfect 10 The duck with potatoes and caramelized onions was exceptionally unique. Even though it sounds simple, the sauce adds the perfect flavor, and the texture of the meat deserves a 10 out of 10. I wanted the scargot but is not any more on the menu Also I wanted the moules and its only serve in the lunch, so sad. The chocolate dessert was a 9 out of 10. The salted caramel dessert received a score of 8 out of 10. The prices were a bit high for the location. I would expect to pay around 40 to 50 euros per person. €€€ average expensive price The restaurant is located near some noisy pubs, so I requested a table inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, it seemed to be reserved, but it was empty.

Best espresso martini I’ve ever had in my entire life and I would fly back to Dublin just for that. Excellent food, although a little overpriced. However, we enjoyed it and would return.

can confidently say this was one of if not the best meal i’ve had. From start to finish the experience was incredible. The staff were so attentive despite it being very busy. We ordered the beef bourguignon and it was delicious. I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone!

This restaurant should be renamed to La Delicious! A taste of the French countryside in downtown Dublin. It brought a warm touch to a cold night and had the perfect atmosphere. The food was fresh and the wines were aromatic and touched the soul like an old friend returning from years abroad. I highly recommend!

Wonderful French restaurant! The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive. I had the Halibut, my wife had the Duck, and we shared the Pot de Chocolate for dessert. Wonderful meal! Definitely recommend.

Great value menu options. We ate out front which was very atmospheric with the crowds from the local pubs. Food was delicious especially the Tarragon Chicken. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a bottle of house red which was decent too. We'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant. The ambiance is very pleasant - chic. The food was delicious with just the right portion size for me. I didn't overeat not was I hungry when I left. The staff was very friendly and competent. Certainly a recommendation for a good business dinner or a romantic evening.

What a gem! I have been a few times ams have never been disappointed. However the bar has been set even higher now that I have been served by the fabulous Owen. What a total professional. I was with a small work crowd and we were blown away by his knowledge and charm. I often visit restaurants for specific servers and Owen is one of them. The food is sell.e executed and does exactly what it says on the tin. Get in and be well looked after

We had a great meal in La Maison today. It was calm, relaxed and friendly despite the Christmas rush. Food was excellent (with a particular shoutout for the scallops, which were exceptional) and Adam looked after us warmly and expertly. Very impressive overall.

We were lucky to get a table here on a Friday - St. Valentines Eve and the Eve of a big rugby match - my three companions were visiting from Italy for the occasion. We had to sit out on the terrace (it was a very cold night !!) - but there were heaters and lovely snuggly blankets !! It’s a very small menu but the food was excellent. Not cheap - but definitely worth it !!

I was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had the early bird menu with starter, main and dessert. Classical onion soup was good, had a bite of ceviche as well, that really surprised me for being so refreshing and well balanced. Boeuf bourguignon, well cooked, tender, but in need of a bit more sauce in one of the plates! Crème brûlée tasty as it should be! Staffs there always being kind and helpful, keeping great attention on us! Place inside is not that big so keep in mind do a reservation during busy time.

Lovely restaurant in a good spot, staff were very nice. Cocktails are delicious. We had scallops to start which were beautiful, my husband had the steak which was lovely, I had the monkfish, it was nice but there was one piece in batter that was very rubbery, I told the server and he said he'd inform the chef, that was the last I heard of it! We had 2 starters 2 mains, 2 Cocktails and a bottle of wine €155 you also get free bread

Lovely experience at La Maison, arrived at that weird time between lunch and dinner and sat outside, worried about the weather but the heaters did the job and there are soft blankets. We had braised pork belly, tuna tartare, striploin steak and Venison all of which where good. Venison was the favourite. The steak could have come with more bearnaise and the braised pork belly tasted it was fried, (crispy fat layer) but all tasted good. Lovely atmosphere outside with the lights twinkling and the sound of some piano street music. We will be back.

Excellent experience at La Maison! Friendly, accommodating and well trained staff. From the warm bread at the start served with a delicious pesto and Parmesan dip, to the beautiful homemade chocolate served with the bill, the food here is faultless. The scallops, especially the sauce they come in, is divine. We shared the sole and it was so tasty. The potatoes and salad served with it were great. Crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect end to the meal! We had some Vermintino wine also and it was the best wine I’ve had in a very long time. Merci!

The scallops in the starter were a bit bitter and slightly overcooked, but the main course was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was outstanding. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.

The food was exquisite, delicious, and superb. The presentation was also very elegant and high-class. The portion sizes were a bit small, so I would recommend ordering a starter and perhaps a dessert to feel fully satisfied. The wine and cocktails were excellent and of high quality. The restaurant staff were very polite and friendly, exhibiting impeccable manners. The ambiance of the restaurant was clean, inviting, and beautifully designed, maintaining a high standard throughout. Although the prices were somewhat high, they were justified by the exceptional quality. The duck was particularly tasty, juicy, and delightful. I definitely recommend this place, but if small portions don’t satisfy you, you may want to consider ordering additional dishes.

Me and my friend went to La Maison, a french restaurant located in Dublin 2 for dinner. We had booked our table on Open Table. Make sure you have your table booked because they're mostly full. We ordered John stone Sterloin (Medium rare) for the two of us and it tasted mouth watery. 5 stars to the flavours added and 3 stars for the overall dish as the beef 🍖 was quite chew-yy. But it was a great experience! We had also got a bottle of wine (Vermentino) for €36. It was nice! I must say, they served the best and the most simple dessert called 'Creme Brulee Classique Francaise'. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT and ordered a second one. MUST TRY! This restaurant felt a little over-priced for their dishes. However, it is worth a try as everyone has different taste palette. They serve a few chocolate plates along with the bill.

Fancy place to celebrate event. Nice ambiance. Spacious sitting. Dishes were served with great presentation. We tried most of the dishes Onion Soup, Scallops, Sole fish of the day, Apple Blackberry Crumble, Creme Brule. My fav was Creme Brule. The service by our server Joseph was top notch. The only down sides was that place was bit pricy for how it tasted. For that price I was expecting some great flavours in my mouth like I have experience at other places. Also the food portion was very small. 74 euros for a sole fish sharing for two and it tasted okayish and also very small quantity.

This evening we had a really disappointing meal here. We both ordered the rack of lamb, one of us received 3 small pieces and the other only 2 at 44 euro per dish. We then ordered the tarte tartin, one of our favourites. It was the size of a saucer, flat, with little apple and no puff pastry. I’m not sure what has happened! This has been a favourite and go to restaurant of ours for at least 15 years and in the past, we had great food and decent portions. The service and ambience remain good but we will not be going back because of the paltry portion size.
