Such a gorgeous experience! Brought my parents to see Downton Abbey and absolutely loved it, the seats are so huge, you can put up your feet on footstools that also act as storage! You can order your normal coke/popcorn but also fries or pizza and they arrive around 15 minutes into the movie! (they used to do prawns etc - bring it back please!). They sound isn't amazing but it's such a lovely experience that it's definitely worth it. I would recommend it as a treat now and again

We booked the Stella Cocktail Club for a birthday party for 15-20 people. They were able to accommodate us with a 1.5 week notice, which was very diffcult find over the Christmas period. The service was unbelievable, we never had to wait to order multiple rounds of drinks and food, there was always someone looking after our table. The food and drinks were also very good & high quality. Some people on our group really appreciated the smoking area being so close by. Everyone was very happy and said they'd definitely be back. Thanks for the great service!

You'll need to book a table as they're usually not available for walk-ins, but it's the way to go. The place fills up quickly, and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere. Bookings are for a two hour slot, and there are limited tables available in their outdoor area for smokers. We booked a slot before seeing a film and it was one of our better decisions. The seating is comfortable, the staff are attentive without being intrusive, the art deco decor is fab, and the background music is loud enough to be heard while allowing conversation. The cocktails are delicious, and they have mocktails for those who prefer something without alcohol. We didn't order food but you can eat there, or you can order food and drink to be delivered to your cinema seat, which is an added bonus.

We got a walk in table as a pre dinner drink. The decor of this place is lovely, has a very fancy feel. Wide range of cocktails available. The staff were really attentive. €57 for 4 cocktails is the standard going rate in Dublin now.

What a place. I fell in love with Stella cocktail club. Had some friends over for 'celebrating' my birthday and the place is just stunning. Amazing service, amazing cocktails, clean and nice smell toilets. The only thing made me sad was that the cinnamon sugar sticks are not on the menu :( but brownie was amazing. I would highly recommend Stella for cocktails. Haven't tried food, but I definitely will be back so next time will have food and cocktails. BTW - Long island ice tea was mouthwatering

Lovely atmosphere – cozy yet elegant. The cocktails are creative, beautifully themed, and taste amazing. The food is also very good. We love coming here for special occasions and usually dress up a bit, as the interior has a luxurious vibe. That said, it’s not overly formal, so you don’t have to go overboard with dressing up unless you want to. Overall, it’s a place that feels stylish and refined while still being comfortable.

We had a New Year’s dinner tonight. The staff were amazing, and so were the drinks. They even gave us a glass of champagne to celebrate the New Year at midnight. We’ll definitely come back to this place!

Such an amazing place for a date night, the atmosphere is incredibly cozy and elegant (it always gives me a Gatsby feel) and since they changed the menu the food has become so nice (kudos for those delicious chicken skewers! Great service too! Overall a wonderful place for a lovely time in Rathmines.

The cocktail club has fabulous decor and really comfortable. We didn't try the food. The cocktails are great but are pricey but you are paying for the experience. The manager is excellent and her service was amazing. Some of the staff seemed to be training so we did have to wait a good while for drinks.

An out of time evening! After a movie in the most beautiful and comfortable cinema ever ( food is served at your table during the movie!) we had cocktails and dinner at the Stella cocktail club upstairs. The service is highly professionnal and so friendly that they make you feel like a regular customer. The cocktails are perfect and the food delicious. Add to it a smooth jazz background and you feel like you entered a speakeasy in 1930. A great time and we will definitely be back.

The service was above and beyond. It’s the service during the night what made the whole place stand out and feel like a high-end exclusive experience. I’m grateful to the staff for making this night special. And definitely recommend everybody to come! Amazing cocktails, attention to details and endless consideration. I feel better stepping out, puffed, looked after and happy! Thank you!

Cannot say enough about how lovely the girl who served us was. Recommended us drinks, recommended us to order food upstairs so as not to have to wait in line. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks were amazing, food was great. Quite expensive but definitely a very decadent experience!

Celebrated an anniversary here, lovely, attentive staff and excellent cocktails. Maitre D' made the effort of making a special request cocktail and made the experience so much better. Would definitely go back again.

we visited this cocktail bar as part of our visit to the Stella cinema they do wonderful cocktails and also there is a lovely atmosphere. staff are very attentive and extremely helpful. you can also order food. In Keeping with the feel of the theatre this cocktail bar has a Decadent atmosphere!

Amazing cocktail bar. One of a very few in Dublin and definitely worth a visit. Staff is very friendly and well mannered and the food was amazing. I will definitely come back and would highly recommend!

A must in Dublin. You can come and enjoy a really good cocktail while talking to your loved one. The ambiance is cosy and at the same time not too crowded.

Was looked after from the moment I stepped foot into the Stella Cocktail Club. The attention to detail and care when taking the order was just fantastic. We told the server what type of drinks we like and her recommendation was just spot on. Fabulous night from start to finish, would highly recommend! Can't wait to come back.

Atmosphere is fantastic, staff are friendly, super helpful and relaxed which adds massively to the ambiance. Drinks are exceptional, bartender even accepts custom requests not on the menu. Only downside would be the food. Stick to the drinks and it's a 10/10 experience.

Great cocktails and very nice atmosphere. The staff were well dressed and very professional. Recommended if you are in the area or maybe as an afters for the cinema downstairs. Great all in all!

I went here on a double date a few weeks ago in March and I have to say, very impressed by the whole atmosphere. Very art deco and plush. The service was pretty spot on, lots of servers and bartenders, no one was rushed. The cocktails are pricey, but not unlike any other place in Dublin. We ordered a.few different cocktails, but mainly the group got old fashioned cocktails and they went down a treat. Really great. The smell of popcorn is an added bonus! Go here if you fancy a little cocktail before dinner or even the cinema.

Love the atmosphere and the design! It’s fancy and elegant! Drinks were amazing! However, the food menu was very limited. And the waitress kept asking me and friend while eating if we were finished which we were obviously not. Apart from that, everything was great!

Love the Stella cocktail club. It’s a great spot to grab some drinks and a bite before the movie. The staff is always friendly and there was one manager in particular who took very good care of us. Love that they have mocktail options too. Only thing about this place is the food shoukd be better. It’s such a nice building and vibe, it’s a shame the food is kinda meh.

Very nice place and the staff are great. The cocktails are just OK though. Don't have a bloody mary - it's ready-made from a carton and really not good. It's worth a look but I won't be in any hurry to return.

Overall; nothing original or inspiring. Gorgeous decor and a nice buzz about the place even midweek. However, the place was quiet and yet somehow our food wasn't hot when it came to the table. Service was also a bit hit and miss despite abundance of staff. If you're pouring water for your customers I shouldn't have to ration what's left in my glass while waiting for a refill. Also could do with raising the temperature a little bit given it's the middle of winter.

I booked a table for 4 at 7:30 on a Sunday night having booked cinema tickets at 8:30 after a weekend enjoying fully what Dublin can offer in terms of food and beverage offerings. Unfortunately, this experience stopped a few minutes after checking in a place only half full. The 3 stars of this comment were obtained thanks to the good efforts of a nice and hard working waiter trying to save what can be called a catastrophic service by his other colleagues 1) 7:31 The waiter asks us if we want to eat. We answer yes, which resulted on only receiving the food menu. 2) 7:35. We ask the cocktail menu. We receive only one for all of us until we asked for more (it is a cocktail bar with a one page description for each cocktail). 3) 7:45 waiting to order. Our first waiter disappeared. 4) 7:50 we order at the bar as nobody came to take our order 5) 7:55 We ask if we can have tap water to a waitress passing by (our glasses were still upside down on the table). She serves one of us in an agressive manner. I complain. She replies agressively. 6) 8:00 I complain to the nice and hard working waiter. 7) 08:02 He takes the order again 8) 08:05 We receive the cocktail and part of the food 9) 08:10 Prawn tempura arrived. I mention this is a shrimp toastie but certainly not a tempura. No waiter seems to know what a tempura is. 10) 08:30 We go enjoy the movie. The nice waiter offers a pint to each of us to compensate for the bad experience. 11) General comment : this is a cocktail bar, it is expected to have some regular changes in the menu, which does not appear to be the case, or in a very limited way. In summary, a risky bet before starting a night in a great cinema.

I decided to go to this place because I saw great reviews about their drinks and food. Here is my experience: The food: I started with the prawn bruschetta, which was terrific. Then I had the duck salad. It was good, not excellent, but good enough. I was disappointed because their online menu was different from the actual menu. My partner had the burger and the regular fries. The fries were great, and the burger was not bad. I also ordered the patatas bravas, and it was not great. It was not crispy, and it was like a sup of sauce on the bottom. Now, let’s get into the drinks. Firstly, I would like to say that the drink presentation was fantastic. I started with a sidecar. It was way too sour. I can see the intent to have a contrast with the nice sugar rim on the glass, but it wasn’t good. Then I asked for a sweet manhattan. That was way too sour, and I did not drink it. The balance was there, and it was drinkable, but not what I ordered. Then I tried a drink special from the menu called U-lah-lah. This was a punch of sugar in your face. It had all the potential to be great, but it was probably the sweetest drink I ever had. I had 2 sips and abandoned the rest. Then I tried a Mulled wine which took 15m to be prepared. It was OK as the waiter told me that it would take longer to make. I would give it 2 stars. It wasn’t bad, but it was missing spices, and it was on the sour side. It tasted like something out of a bottle And without any further garnishing or enhancements. I was disappointed overall. The place is fantastic, nice ambiance and great staff. Just needs to work on what they are there for!!!

My girlfriend and I were there on valentines day. Great venue for drinks and a bit of food, really well designed. Understandably, the kitchen was run off their feet for valentines day. However, we were still waiting an hour and a half for our food with no apology or acknowledgement from the staff. It was pretty ridiculous. We ordered a few of the vegan options which were great, however, cauliflower wings are usually battered. These just tasted like boiled cauliflower. Maybe it was a mistake from the kitchen due to how busy it was, but they tasted pretty awful which was disappointing, the rest of the food was great, really impressed with the Haloumi fries.

Arrived on time to our booking and only 1 other table there. Several tables arrived after us and were served last, we ended up waiting 30mins for our drinks. Lovely cocktail bar but for the price; we would expect better service or more than one person on the bar.

Actually, it was quite disappointing. The waiters were hectic and chaotic, they didn't have the right glasses, no ice cubes nor fancy decor for the cocktail. Just plain wine (?) glasses. If I pay over 14 € for a small cocktail, I expect way more... Not worth the money. Sorry!

When you pay premium prices you expect premium drinks and premium service. Drinks are nice, but this place has regular issues with slow service, even on nights that are not busy. Most recently there was a delay seating us, there was a delay giving us menus (we had to get them ourselves) there was a delay ordering (we had to go to the bar ourselves) all on a pretty quiet night. The drinks eventually came, and there was not an ounce of pleasantness, never mind an apology, from the server. We would have liked a second drink, but seen as no one seemed bothered to serve us we paid the bill and left. And is not the first time we've experienced this. Certain staff simply dont care for their jobs, therefore I no longer care to spend money there.

Have to say that the food here was a huge disappointment. The trio of bread, olives, and almonds was an actual joke - 5 small olives, bland stale nuts, and bread that I physically couldn't tear or cut. The only decent thing we had was the arancini. Service was also poor - there were about 6 staff there around the bar but only 1-2 people actually working. The manager seemed totally fine with the fact that most of them were just standing around sampling a cocktail. They took our order without writing it down, came back to confirm it again, and we were still served the wrong thing. Puzzling how they manage to take 20 mins to serve a glass of whiskey with only about 4 tables occupied.

Terrible service, especially for a cocktail bar. Waitress gave us water but never bothered with menus, we had to get them ourselves. We also had to go up and order the drinks ourselves at the bar (which shocked the bartender who said it was table service). Evetually the waitress delivered our drink with barely a word, never mind an apology. For a place that prides itself on its cocktails and service this place is very lackluster.

Very disappointing. We were celebrating a birthday, so were planning on a few cocktails. But after the first round was bad across the board, we left. I had the worst whiskey sour I've ever experienced, heavy on the lime, little whiskey, and bright yellow!!! The local pub did a better version when we went there!!

I really enjoyed the Stella Cocktail Club, relaxing in beautiful Art Deco style surroundings, the elegant background jazz adding to the ambience. Can't wait to go back.

Old tiny place in the outdated building. Tap water from toilet. It is better to waste money on casino than visit this place.

I booked a table in the Stella Cocktail Club 2 months in advance for a special occasion, only for them to cancel my booking with 3 days notice because they had double booked. They half heartedly offered complimentary drinks and to rebook me into the Stella Diner, but never followed through with either. Wouldn't recommend for a large group or special occasion as they can't be relied upon.

If I could give lower than a 1 star I would !! My parents flew from England so I booked this table about a month ago. Never been treated so badly when I have been out in Dublin. We were sat at a table in the walk way 4 seats not even next to each other so I moved them together so I could sit next to my family when I was greeted by the rudest staff member ( supposedly a manager) who had a go at me and said I can’t move the chairs as it blocks the walk way ?? So why sit us in a walk way ? I asked to move and no effort was made to accommodate my request the manager just kept talking over me in a angry tone of voice! I wasn’t even given menus or offered a drink so I had to sit there away from my family because I got thrown on a table in the walkway! We got up and left no apology the staff all just starred at us as we left ! I noticed they canceled my booking on open table so I couldn’t leave a review there classy place 👍
