Very pleasant customer service and the chicken soup was delicious. I stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a place to park and I'm so glad I did. I'll be going back this week.

First enjoying Jamaica Breeze food. "A satisfied stomach doesn't complain" African Proverb. The portions were big and tasty 😋. I will come back I will recommend.

Loved the food but loved the warm welcome too as a tourist in the US. Thank you! Ox tail was delicious!

The food here is delicious, true authentic Caribbean taste. I loved it, will definitely go back again when I'm in new York. They only take cash, so stop at the ATM on your way there!😄

The best oxtail I have ever had. This restaurant is a gem and I cannot stress how good the oxtail is. The large is enough for two people

Stayed in queens outside laguardia airport, I saw this place on my map, and told my mom, who is a very picky eater, let's go get jamaican food, she didn't hesitate, and I'm so glad because yet small, it at least from an outside perspective seemed very traditional. The ox tail was so tender, and I can't remember the woman up front (I'm sorry!😂) but she was stern amulet so nice, like grandma. She didn't charge me for the plantain/ tostones done jamaican style. Great place will go back once I am up there for culinary school.

There food is Super Delicious. I had to buy 2 servings as it taste like i was in Jamaica in Ocho Rios on vacation. You have to come to this place whenever you come to Queens in New York City. Look them up. They serve 5 star food here.

Great service! I was just there to pick up some lunch for myself and a co-worker. Due to the snow.....there was no parking....so i called inside and they prepared the lunches and took it to my car outside 🤗😊 you cant ask for better service given the icy condition.

I absolutely love the food! I used to order feom them 3 years ago when i used to be a flight attendant on my layovers in NYC! And the food hasn't change..plus they five such good portions..!!

Ordered my food for delivery, the containers were wrapped in plastic holding the food and sauce/gravy together with no spills. The delivery service person was professional and last but not least the food was delicious, my white rice was perfect. This is my new spot!

Food was amazing. While on an overnight at the Plaza Hotel LaGuardia decided to give this place a try. It was spot on. I had the oxtails jerk chicken and rice and they were all the best I've ever had. Definitely worth the 15 minute walk from the hotel. You will not be disappointed.

The food was amazing. I stopped by on my way to LGA and picked up some Jerk Chicken and Oxtails along with rice and peas. The lady that waited on me made me a nice plate and wrapped in plastic so that it would not spill while carrying it through the airport. I ate the oxtails when I arrived at the airport prior to my flight, I took the Jerk Chicken on the plane with me. After a 3 hour flight and 2 hour drive home I reheated the Jerk Chicken and it was incredible. I highly recommend Jamaica Breeze

My wife got the jerk chicken and i got the oxtail and both were great. We got the large size and have enough leftover for another meal. The jerk chicken is the star of the show, very flavorful. Definitely coming back.

Can't wait to return. The food was good and the guy behind the counter was a real NY character. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy. He seems to really take pride in his food and making sure his customers get enough to eat.

Jerk chicken was amazing. Prices are amazing, I got a 1/4 Jerk chicken with a huge brick of Mac and Cheese for less than $13. Some people might say that’s too much but the price is definitely right. Coming back more often.

We drove to another Jamaican restaurant in Astoria only to find out they were closing. So we called up Jamaica Breeze they also were closing but asked us what we wanted to order. We asked if they still had oxtail. We told him how far we were. About 15 min away. He gave my friend a tour of the very clean kitchen and really filled up our take home plates with oxtail, mixed vegetables and delicious rice! Thank you so much for re-opening your doors again so we can get dinner in our belly's! This is what customer service is! Thank you for caring! ❤

Amazing Jamaican food, get there early to get their jerk chicken, and you can grab some delicious curry chicken, and some really good oxtail gravy. Last time I went there it was a strictly cash only place, so bring some cash. They might be taking credit cards now though, but bring cash just in case.

The original cook was THE ABSOLUTE BEST. New cook isn't on the same level but the food is good. Ms. Joy is the SWEETEST. Kim and the other lady are very nice as well.

It was a 12 minute walk from my hotel. I placed my order for curried chicken $7.99 as posted on the menu board. Lady said, "oh, those prices are 5 years old" and gave me their new menu card with current prices. New price for my order was $12. AND GUESS WHAT?? It was worth every penny!! Their medium dinner can feed 2 persons. I could not complain. When it was time to pay, that's when I realized it was Cash Only! I almost cried because I was so hungry and tired and it was another 12 minutes back to my hotel. The wonderful gentleman who served my food took me nextdoor to their adjoining pub where they swiped my credit card. Great food, great prices and best of all wonderful and pleasant people working there. When you go there just remember to ignore the prices on the menu board...they are old...and carry cash with you.

I bought breakfast here for the first time this morning, the food was pretty good, I was impressed that the fried dumpling wasn't greasy. Overall, everything was very delicious! The only thing I would recommend, although the lady serving me was nice, she could have smiled a bit more. I'll definitely go back to try the curry chicken.

The customer service is absolutely welcoming and warm. Great staff and a really nice owner. The food is absolutely amazing. I have never had Jamaican food. I am so glad I came here for my first time. Now Jamaican food is one of my top favorite thanks to them. I highly recommend this place. Definitely worth it.

My wife and I came here one night going back to our hotel. We had the large brown stew chicken and it was delicious. Was enough food to feed 3 people. We came back the next day for lunch with friends and went to their newly open lounge next door the Oasis. Food was cooked by the same place and was amazing again. We had the brown stew again and it was great. Will definitely come back before we leave. Please know this place is CASH ONLY, so bring some with you. Prices are good for the amount of food you get.

The food is very very good . I had brown stew chicken Rice and beans and cabbage. The service was phenomenal and there was a nice comedy show to boot!!! That kept us laughing, which I hear is very good for digestion, so it's the perfect combo. There was a beautifully inspired poetry reading by one of our hosts Briya that merited a loud round of applause at the end, which was a perfect conclusion to the Martin Luther King weekend. The place is nice and cozy, offering drinks as well, along with entertainment.

We drove there from Long Island City to try the food. My daughter had oxtails, my mom and husband shared curry chicken, stew chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. I don't eat meat and they ran out of fish, so I didn't order. My family loved the food. They said, everything was delicious. The cost was great. Hopefully, we get there in time for the fish. We are planning to go back.

The food is phenomenal!! The ladies behind the counter needs to be the same. Slow & moody unfortunately with the exception of the short light skinned lady. (She's nice) I thought it was just me but strangers in line with me agreed. Luckily the food over rates their lack of courtesy. But it's just a matter of time before I stop going. Usually a smile carries a lot of weight where even the food don't be great but the smiles & greetings are appreciated. It won't hurt anyone to smile.

We picked up a quick dinner from here tonight and it was amazing. As soon as I came in , the owner had my order ready to go. He was extremely generous with the oxtail and it tasted great !!! I also ordered the coco bread and chicken patty. They make their own patties so it tasted fresh. I will definitely be returning. The service was friendly and the food was amazing.

For a person who has never tried oxtail before this place really did there thing on the oxtail very tender and a nice sweetness to it and the jerk chicken is very juicy not even dry just make sure if you don’t like spicy to add light jerk sauce because it really got a kick to it. Definitely coming back

We stopped by on our way to LGA airport, we wanted Caribbean food before returning home to Texas. The owner was so nice and welcoming, she allowed me to sample the jerk chicken. We decided not to eat our food at the airport because she had wrapped it so well… The whole flight to Dallas I was thinking about my food, I was guarding it with my life. 😂 It was delicious and I would recommend that if you are near the LGA airport. Go check out Jamaica Breeze, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow, we are from Maryland and here for a night. My husband decided he wanted to eat a real jerk chicken. We ordered your jerk chicken and rice, boy ohh boy, this man finished the large bowl without sharing. He said “Best Jerk Chicken” ever eaten.

I gave this place five stars for atmosphere because it really is your classic hole in the wall Jamaican food spot in New York City I've never had anything bad from here my only criticism is that sometimes their snapper fish can be too spicy and they almost never have sweet plantains. One time I bought an expired dessert which was the last time I've ever tried their desserts. But that was many many years ago. The plates can be very messy especially when you add gravy so make sure you are ready to eat it on a plate or something stable. Thier beef patties are probably the closest thing that I've had to Jamaican beef patties from the islands

The women working at this place are very disrespectful. The food is not all of that good as people are saying. They over charge for the oxtails. A large plate of oxtails was $20, now it is $25, they count their meat. The people stated that if you get a large oxtails plate you only get 5 piece of meat, a medium plate is 4 piece of meat a small plate is 3 piece of meat. The problem here is that why are they counting the meat and charging you outrageous prices. When the large plate was $20 you got 5 pieces, now the large plate is $25 and you still get five pieces, that is outrageous and robbery to your customers. Furthermore, the oxtails is very oily. The fried chicken is over cooked and hard, the curry goat is salty, the rice is OK, the curry chicken is salty. Maybe they get good reviews from people who dont know about real jamaican food. If you like the food, hey good for you, but they are robbing people with those outrageous prices and then have the nerve to ask you for a tip. Customers are not obligated to give a tip. These women will literally ask you for a tip after you are already paying a crazy price for your food. Go there at your own risk.

Excellent food!!! Great cashier!!! I Google this place to see who has the best Jamaican food, and this place did not disappoint. The OX tails was delicious and awesome. It was definitely worth the drive. They definitely give you a generous portion, so you won't feel you got cheated out of meal. I definitely recommend this place.

So I randomly stumbled upon this Jamaican restaurant in the middle of Jackson Heights which was totally unexpected but I am so glad I did because wow! The oxtail plate that I had has to be some of the best oxtail I've ever had! It was so tender and flavorful that it was literally falling off of the bone. I could cut and eat it with a spoon. She also gave me a nice healthy serving of oxtail gravy as well to go on my rice and veggies which I love! The outside of the place could definitely use some help since the signage is significantly faded so it's easy to miss the restaurant if you're not looking for it. The girl behind the counter was also super helpful and courteous which was very refreshing and goes against the negative stereotypes of carribean customer service. Overall, I will definitely be back for more!

Been looking for a good food spot and wow, I am amazed. The host/cashier ms.Joy was so kind and treated me like family, even though it was my first time there. she accommodated me so well, listening carefully to my dietary restrictions.. food is flavorful and they packed the plate to the top. They even had to saran wrap the plate to close it hands-down 10 out of 10 if I could.

do not let the appearance fool you! There is no seating inside, and the place is cash only, but the food is… Outstanding!!! I got the rice and peas with oxtail and without even asking me the nice lady said “how much gravy do you want?” 😍 the rice and peas taste great, and the oxtail is so flavorful. This place should be a five-star easily. I parked right across the street. EDIT: I also got a Jamaican cream soda 💯💯

I dont know how this restaurant doesn’t have 5 stars. Ive read previous reviews about how the service wasn’t good, but i highly disagree and had amazing service. The staff was so friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered oxtail, and brown stew chicken and it is so tender you barely have to chew it. Rice and peas were cooked perfectly, and the steamed vegetables go great with the meal. Honestly one of the best oxtail dishes ive ever had. If you are hesitant on coming here, dont be. This is definitely a restaurant that is worth every penny. Just make sure to bring cash, since it is cash only…

After searching for new food in the neighborhood, I came across this place. It was spectacular!! I had oxtails with their rice and veggies. Had to get the mac and cheese too!! The large fed 2.5 people and we were all satisfied! But I could have ate it all by myself to be honest. Loved it! Great flavor! The mac was seasoned and had pepper or jalapeño in it? Not sure but it was banging!!! Can’t wait to go back and have other dishes. By the way! I had no problem with any one, they all seemed very friendly and welcoming. Maybe the other reviewers caught them on a bad day… but to be honest? Even if they were mean to me, I’d still go back. That’s how good the food was!

Only reason I’m giving this place a 4 star is because As a customer at the very least you can welcome you guest and tell them I will be right there rather then looking and continue doing your work. I never knew a business that didn’t want to help their guests hopefully next time someone can give me a better experience

Very goodcand tasty food. Generous portions. But...they ALWAYS run out of plantains early and never give you enough gravy for the amount of rice they give.

The price is good compared to this Jamaican restaurant near me. The rice & peas is much better and the oxtails is tender and very good. Not a fan of their plantains, needs not to be fried too hard. Cabbage is delicious.

Small spot for local Jamaica food. The Patties are dope. Parking is street parking and it’s takeout only. I don’t see prices listed but it’s a convenient spot. Enjoy

Love the food here. The lunch specials you get alot of food for your money.Just wish the prices didn't keep going up and they didn't run out of certain things so quickly.

S

Have been here twice for beef patties. Delicious both times. Although we’ve had to wait both times because they were being cooked, they were delicious. Parking is always an issue, just have to be patient. Both occasions a few years apart the staff was very pleasant & accommodating.

J

Food is delicious, the portions of fair. The only bummer is if you want a small portion it's basically only curry chicken.

D
David Kim

Food's good and reasonable price. I've had their oxtails, jerk chicken and beef patty and it's good w/ good portions but I love love love the pineapple ginger slushy!!! Mix some plain seltzer w/ it and it's an even better drink. If you come during the lunch rush prepare to wait some but I think it's worth it.

S
Steven G3n1u5

I usually take someone to go pick up food from there. People usually love the food. They only have great things to say about the flavor. Some complaints that I have heard is that they run out some of some stuff. BUT They are always PACKED. The wait is sometimes over 20min to get a meal. It sucks for a quick lunch. I always tell my crew to order food 10-15 min before heading out so we wont get slammed with the crowd. When the food is good the masses will come. Jamaica food is amazing according to everyone I know has tried or eaten there.

N
Nicole M

Authentic Jamican food. The Jerk chicken and curry chicken were delicious. Beef patties were good. I have ordered take out from here before and recommend it . It's located a little off the beaten path by Astoria Blvd so it hard to park. We ordered the large plate so we definitely have enough for the next day.

c

Food was good. I paid for oxtail but received bones. The lady seen it and was very inconsiderate it like I had to argue to receive more bones and no meat. Smh the coco bread and patties were good

J
Jenée Brown-Dimitrov

It’s true… the food is good but the oxtail is Super overpriced and they can definitely work on the morale of their employees… Large oxtail is $20?? yeah I don’t know, but I will try something else and get a smaller size next time I go! There’s not many Jamaican restaurants around so I’ll give it another try.

From the outside we were hesitant to go in but we went in and were so happy we did. The Stew Chicken was so good that I couldn’t get a picture of it. The Jerk Chicken was good and spicy. The lady that served us was very nice and gave us what she had left. They only have the stew chicken and jerk chicken which I’m not complaining it they were both amazing. We did wanna try the Mac and cheese which was sold out. We got larges for both. It came with veggies and rice. Spent like $16.50 per plate. It tasted like a home cooked meal made with love and great seasoning! Whoever made it did an excellent job.

Parking you can find around the place, just go round the block. Food is only takeaways. Cash only, but there's an ATM next door. Do NOT let the small space give you any ideas. Mind-blowing soul food. Called ahead, reached 6 mins later, my stuff was sealed packed n ready. Each dish is so well packed, I had to take a pic of the sealed dish, I have not seen that done ANYWHERE else in NY. Jerk chicken, just right spice n salt. Skinless brown chicken stew was perfect, comes with rice beans, fried plantains and cabbage on the side, cabbage is tasty too. Oxtail: not the usual you get in other Jamaican places, comes with red rice with the fat beans I think, Lima beans and cabbage.

N
Nathaniel Carriere

Food is great, but I can't stand coming here because everyone they hire has a nasty attitude (women behind the counter). Would of gave it more stars but the customer service is awful.

M
Morunsforfun

Hit or miss. Hit or miss. My daughter can’t eat their food because it gives her a migraine. Which only happens when MSG is present. Maybe in the seasonings they use. But definitely present. I usually like their oxtail. But the rice is soggy half the time or under cooked the other half. Speaking of rice you get a plate FULL. The rice takes up most of the container. A couple of times the food was a little “off” too. I have eaten here maybe ten times in 6 years but I don’t anymore. One of my neighbors has had the same experience as well. I like to support my neighborhood restaurants but I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you don’t mind taking your chances. The food can be good or “meh” on any given day.

C
Courtney Warren

The food was regular... then they lied to our faces about not being able to buy small platters after a certain hour. An I witnessed several ppl purchase small platters while there and eating outside of there! Won't be coming back!

S
Stephanie

I've been coming here for about four years, despite the rude people they hire on a daily basis. BUT I think my journey with this restaurant has finally come to an end. Maybe they need to hire males to be at the counter I don't know if that will help, but I'm tired of coming to this restaurant and receiving stares, and looks like me ordering food is a bad thing. Although the food is good its, not worth it. I rather go to The Door in Jamaica, where I feel welcomed.

W
WinterRay White

I have been there twice and both times the vibe wasn't pleasant. I will not really pass judgement on the food because I'm not a meat eater, but the rice was great. and People seem to love it because plenty people was coming in and buying food. They just need to work on there customers service skills.

G
Gabe V.

The lack of professionalism in this place is appalling and it's a shame because the food is delicious! First off, the gentleman that answers he phone is great, but if it's the woman forget about it! She will leave you on hold for 10-15 minutes while laughing and giggling in the background while you're on the phone listening just dying to get an order in. Now once the food finally arrives, the grumpiest old man appears at your door with the worst attitude in the world (I mean can you blame him? He's 50 years old and delivering my food to young bucks like me begging for tips). Down to the food.. no complaints. Food is wonderful but can't outweigh the ratchetness of the employees.

P
PRINCE KEVIN

The food was terrible. Curry Chicken with rice, peas and cabbage. The chicken was lacking flavor and freshness. The chicken had no true taste of curry. Jamaican food if placed in the fridge for over night has a distinct aroma and taste to it, and this food had it. The cabbage tasted off, like it was spoiled. The place was overrun by Hornets flying around. The amount of oil that was in the pan, was outrageous, that should’ve been a red flag. The employees had an attitude, also inflated prices. I won’t be going back.

B
Bryan Johnson

The Servers were horrible extremely long extremely long a little bit rude she got mad not mad because she messed up my order order it was very simple One with no vegetables and the another with only vegetables. If the curry chicken wasn't good I would have given 1 star. If the service was better I would have given 5 stars but I will never go there again.

C

This place is nothing to represent its name.first me and my worker went to get lunch .2 curry medium chicken and 2 small waters 45$ .I think is too overpriced for a medium quality meals in the middle of the day.the not so well put dinning area in front of the steam table.it seems it's been there for long time and the ownership never updated anything.i wouldn't recommend my friends to visit it .

c

Around 4 pm the food was pretty much done! But a large meal compare to a restaurant in Brooklyn was considered medium, but yet you pay for large! This plate not worth it's price! I had no option. The food was gone early too.. I won't return.

Only because there's no Half star. For one thing, the pricing is so ridiculous they should be ashamed. No where in all of New York City would you find a Caribbean restaurant (all countries included) that would charge these astronomical prices. $12 for a chicken roti, kiss my grits. The chicken consisted of chicken backs, damn chicken backs. The lowest you can go is thighs and legs. How dare you. Then the genius doesn't know the difference between Dal and Roti. The color alone is a give away. They had it in the fridge and heated it incorrectly thus charging me for a rock. If you're going to sell it then you need to research it. And I'm not sure when the owners changed and this place became a plantation... but I've never heard people use the title of Boss so much. Yes I am Guyanese and I'm familiar with the terms used. But this was like watching 12 years a slave as they tried to address a mistake they made on another customers food. 2 weeks of a boycott would probably shut them down (I wish.) But for now I will just wait until I can make it down the Van Wyck to GT town or the Ave for the Real Food.

If I could give no stars I would..I ordered from them at 12:26 pm today for me to get a call an hour later telling me they cannot deliver my food because of the distance. Very unprofessional and disorganized. For that I will never step foot in their restaurant again.

Just went in and the 1 lady that was working literally made me wait 6 minutes and I just left. The man mopping the floor had even called her twice and nothing!! I’ve been here before the food is good but the service SUCKS!

Extremely poor customer service. Called and tried to place and order for pick up, was told to come inside where they were taking carryout orders by phone. It doesn’t state anywhere that they don’t accept cards. Items on the menu were not available. And then I waited while they took orders from everyone me. I ended up just leaving.

This used to be my go to place for a delicious Jamaican breakfast BUT the women on the register is SOOOOOOO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I decided to spend my money elsewhere. As hard as ppl work to support a place is vital but not for horrible service.

We ordered at 11am to pick up at 1pm we arrived and nothing was prepared furthermore there was a line of people, when asked for our orders we were told there is no more jerk chicken, we had to wait 15 min. mind you we were already there fr 10... we ordered $130 worth of food and no one cared, they have no sense of urgency, no matter how good the food is, won't be returning..

This Place is not professional. I called today and asked if they will be delivering. The lady said hold on and left me on the phone for ten minutes. I can hear her laughing and talking in the back round. After 10 minutes she hung up. I called back and said you just hung up on me. Without giving an apology she asked me with an attitude how can I help you. I asked her if they are delivering and she said it's raining outside. I then asked can I pick up. I specifically asked her for 2 large oxtail with white rice with cabbage. She asked me when will I be coming to pick up my order. I said five minutes. When I got there they were sitting around just talking. My food wasn't even prepared. I then had to repeat my order and when I got home it wasn't what I wanted. It was brown rice. The meat tasted tough the rice was very soggy. I am sorry to say I will not be buying from this business again. For many reasons the woman has an attitude and the food wasn't great. Just very disappointing.

I have worked on Rikers for 26 years all the nurses go here I speak on behalf of them. this place is not good at the in regards to the service, the ladies are curt and have a sour disposition. unless you are Jamaican that is. I called my food ahead and still had to wait to get my food due to the ladies flirting with a man at the counter it took 2 of them to trip of his D@$#k. I asked for extra boiled dumpling in my soup the same way the man did and the look of disdain on the lady's face its a good thing i did because that was the only one in my soup. another customer that was there noticed how the attitude changed towards me when I asked the same request. i try to give benefit of the doubt all I can do is pray for their success but moving forward I will get my food from a place in Suffolk county the day before if i have a taste for Caribbean food

NO. MORE. I'm tired of the females that work there trying to raise the price by $1.00, just so they can pocket it. The owner should be aware of this. They do it ALL the time. They're always out of Patties and depending on the week, you might get Hard Rice, which means it was stored in the fridge and then microwaved, aka Not Fresh. They're also not courteous and always have an attitude. I'm done with the place. They feel that because they're the only Caribbean spot in the area, they can get away with all of the foulness they're doing. Avoid and if you do go, beware of them raising the price on your food by a Buck or two.

I figured I would try this place again since it's so close to where I stay and I have to say... IT WAS WORSE THAN THE FIRST TIME!!! I ordered the large oxtail both times and the first time I was disappointed because the rice and peas and cabbage were the stars of the plate. Well let me tell you... this time was no different except for the rice having a burned aftertaste. And guess what the food overall is still bland! At least the oxtails were tender this time and I dont taste any of the authentic spices that you would get at any other Jamaican restaurant. So sad, because I had high hopes for this place but they just dont do it for me at $16 a plate. Do yourself a favor and save yourself time and money. 0 stars for the old lady's attitude. Ja-fakin food at its best💯

Been here 2-4 times because dont feel like driving to Jamaica Queens, Don't understand how they still in business this is not real Jamaican food not will all that oily food they be cooking, Oxtails not meaty at all most are just bones. Rice not flavorful or at times under cooked! Definitely they need to go to the Real Jamaican Spots in Jamaica Queens to learn a thing or 2, and let's not talk about the attitude on these women smfh. Done with them..

I am caribbean this place is horrible. They heated up the patties in a microwave before serving me. Food is old stale and smells bad. The old lady behind the counter has poor attitude. They are way too over priced. Jamaican flavors on springfield is the way to go!

My first experience was a disaster i ordered the oxtail rice & peas with vegetable dinner it was horrible. The rice was hard without the peas. The oxtail tasted like burned meat & gravy . I also ordered 2 sides of mac n cheese it tasted like hot & spicy yellow noodles. I was so disappointed. I should have know when i see the owner & he looked like Garfield from the smurfs.

i do not recommend! The food was terrible. very cheap with the meat, the rice was hard. The pattie’s are golden crust not homemade as you would get in a traditional Jamaican restaurant.

I gave them a 1 for the fried dumpling. Sorry I can't say much good about this place. 2nd time I've been here and the first time same thing. Thought I'd give them another chance. NEVER AGAIN!!! Super salty GREASY codfish and okra. Prices posted are not the prices charged. I asked for a small which on the wall said 6.25. She charged me 9.25. Jamaican Breeze...I suggest you breeze right past.

I placed an order based on the prices that are displayed on the wall. I estimated to pay $30. However to my surprise they said i owe $42. I asked why and was told the manager increased the prices but never changed the prices that's displayed on their wall. I felt deceived since my order was already prepared. The server didn't even forewarned me of the price increase while i gave her my order. I was very displeased at how unprofessional the place was and didn't even try to accommodate me since it was their error for not having correct prices on the menu. I will not be patronizing their establishment again! If you decide to eat their please make sure they give you the correct prices before you place your order.

Me and my sister went to this restaurant this week to get some oxtails food was good sadly they only had veggies for side however asking the Rasta lady for the food price about 3 times she pretended not to have herd me I had to ask the other lady such person with bad attitude should serve food but herd there is another location far but that’s where I’ll go I rather go the distance to have a good customer service than a short distance for awful service but the other lady was very good manner and said good by enjoy .

Worst of the worst food very old, cold, stale, rock food that’s half frozen. Got short changed by a dollar my first visit won’t come back. Also charge premium prices for this type of food. Won’t recommend to anyone unless you like wasting money. Very dirty old rundown place

I love going to this Jamaican spot. The food is really delicious. I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to check this place out. The other day I went and bought food but there was no plantain left to go with my order. I hope they can fix that one little issue. 10/26/2024- I’m sorry but I couldn’t eat the food. The chicken was hard and dry. I haven’t been here in 2 years and today I was shocked. Food tasted a bit stale as well and they never have sweet plantains which is a must for Caribbean folks.

Terrible experience but third times a charm right. 1 I ordered curry chicken , too much rich and the chicken dry n old . They removed all prices from the wall so they can make it up overprice ,and charge whatever. 1 goat curry and a stew chicken. Goat was nasty and the stew chicken was fatty and to much oil nearly $40. Prior to my experience I had to pick up a $60 pan of rasta pasta, they gave me a pan of dry noodles 1 & 1/2 pepper no heavy cream alfredo sauce definitely nothing is authentic JA food ! Told me to come back 20 minutes to give me a SMALL coffee cup (not a M or Large nor a soup cup) of stinking sauce with too much oil that just smells bad . It takes 10 mins to make alfredo sauce from scratch i gave them nearly 40. The sauce was so clumpy like gravy n nasty , Workers mocking me, Lady behind the counter is attitude & rude is disgusting, refused to call her boss because they messed up. The boss was nice but if those the ppl he hire highly disrespectful & do not recommend! Too expensive for poor quality
