Its a good place to eat and ive had good experience with the food and the really good services but today i went into the drive through and i wasnt so pleased because they had given me a coke the was warm and flat i dont think ill be coming back anytime soon anymore

I had stopped going as i will be truthful, about three months ago it started getting bad... wrong order, wait time was horrible.. 25 minutes to 35 minutes just to get some tacos.. as it is my daughter's favorite place, i had to stop taking her... until recently about a week ago i stopped by (with time as i was expecting long wait time).. to my suprise not only was the wait time about 5 min from when i ordered to when i drove off but the customer service was excellent. The ladies at the window were great. Today i had to stop by and same experinece... in and out again in less than 5 minutes!!! Great job to owner and managers for stepping up. I had not posted as was hoping experice would get better and it did!!!

By far the best Jack In The Box I've been to in the last 6 months!! I currently was living in Port Arthur area and all the JackInTheBoxs has super rude employees and food would take more than 15 minutes to receive, ridiculous. Then it would be wrong. This JIB had friendly employees who up sold when ordering. Everything was fresh and correct 😁 Fries were super hot! Enjoyed my food very much!!

Went today in the morning to get breakfast. Usually in the drive thru you expect a quick not so friendly experience. Well the employee covering the ordering was very friendly, his name is Cruz. Keep employing people like that and you will get many return customers. 👍🏽👍🏽

I liked the Mini Tacos and the quiet atmosphere. The service was slow but they were short staffed and getting swamped with the drive thru so it's understandable. They gave me a water cup no problem too.

My go to order for this fast food restaurant is the egg rolls and cookies and cream shake!! Never disappoints! I was going to Jack's to get munchies meals for the jibbi boss key chain and I got it! The double chicken supreme sandwich was delicious!

Shout out to the gentlemen working night shift on 2/20/2025! Came here around 1 am hungry for something delicious and this location delivered! The man working the drive thru was so polite and respectful. He even gave me 2 ranches for free. Not to mention, the food was delicious! These men definitely deserve a raise. We visited this Jack in the Box after school for a quick meal. The restaurant's dining area was very clean. The cashier was friendly and quick at taking our orders. All our food was very good. Enough parking space. We will definitely be back for other meals.

Lobby is open from 6AM to Midnight. Polite cashiers around 11PM on Mondays. The music volume is adequate. I do love that this location has several exits, into Sugar Road and 107 (University Drive), as well as access to the Staples and Wal-Mart.

I know I know, it's a franchised fast food place. Even then, you'll be happy to know that they do their jobs well here. Food comes out at a reasonable pace, it's cooked correctly, and personally I like the food. A bonus: this particular location offers student discounts, just be sure to show them your STC or UT Pan Am IDs.

Had that new burger they were offering (already forgot the name) last night around 10:30 pm. Pretty good, but the wait time from the drive through was a little long. Curly fries here are always good. $11 and some cents total

I've been to this Jack in the Box location many times and have yet to leave a review... Here goes... I am often welcomed by the staff as I enter. My experience with the employees is that they are friendly and efficient. Even when I am ordering several meals for take out, the order has always been accurate as ordered, even when requesting special requests like leaving off the mustard (we have a family member allergic to the turmeric in yellow mustard). The quality of the food ordered has consistently been very good, served hot and fresh. Prices nowadays seem a bit high, but they are competitive with others in the fast food industry. The dining room here has always been clean, and, for some reason, mostly empty. The drive through gets a lot more business. There is a nice ambience uncluttered by loud music or TVs blaring. Sometimes I see college students hanging out to study here rather than at the popular and criwded coffee shop. Though Jack In The Box is known for burgers, they offer a lot more than burgers. In fact, they sell many more tacos than burgers! I know what an authentic Mexican taco is because I lived in Mexico for years. While these are definitely Americanized, these are their version of a taco dorado, and I have to admit are pretty tasty! I also like their grilled sandwiches and curly fries. The drinks are self served with one of those machines that dispenses a million different flavors of sodas, lemonade, and sports drinks. OK, probably fewer than a million, but more than the average fast food joint. You may also order items off their breakfast menu any time of day. I think this Jack In The Box is a great place for fast food. It's nice to have other options than the golden arches or the big orange W.

As a college student sometimes I don't have time in between classes to go home and make myself something to eat. Jack in the Box is close to campus and very affordable. The establishment is clean and the food is okay . Not the best fast food burger but definitely not the worst

I waited too long...finally wanted to get pineapple shakes for my family, made the order in the app, went in to pick them up....then I was sad to hear, they were out of them. But the young lady behind the counter couldn't have been nicer and more apologetic. The rest of my order was tacos. And they were as good as always 👍

Its usually really good. Some mornings is a hit or miss.. Never had lunch here but the breakfast is good and they take orders quickly. Your meal is always hot. But inside is usually dirty and there isn't much traffic

Burgers were alright, but yall need to clean your fryers asap! My fries and Jalapeño bombers came out dark and burnt tasting. Nobody wants to eat to eat food like that.

The best thing is being able to get a late night snack or meal whenever you feel like it. Personally, I only like the sides: cheese curly fries, egg rolls, and the mango tea but I am almost always satisfied as they have an extensive menu. The only problem is that they do not include the condiments that go with the food for example, sweet and sour sauce with egg rolls and taco sauce with tacos. It makes me angry that I have to check every time and then have to ask. They are not always happy about it.

I will never figure out why the food doesn't look like it's pictures would it make a difference if I went inside where it was like now we have to see the food in front of you because once you have the food in your car it's a done deal they are smaller they're not as tasty it's disgusting it's actually called false advertisement I'm surprised you're not going to be sued I'm surprised every fast food place wouldn't be sued matter of fact I think I might want to try it it's crazy

Order was wrong, ordered a number 7 and popcorn chicken...got 2 number 7's. Then had to wait a long time for them to give us the popcorn chicken that the staff member didnt even remember us asking for even though it was right there on the receipt that she gave us.

Visiting the area and this was one the worst service I’ve had. The little boy had bad broken English and was very hard to understand him . I could tell he was getting upset which made it frustrating. Took me 15-20 min to get my food which wasn’t hot and fries were really salty. They got my order wrong but was too tired to go back and try to explain to the little kid with bad English.

amazing food, its very delicious and the cooks do an incredible job! i deducted stars because i felt very unwelcome by the employee in the drive through. she was very rude to me, giving me nasty looks and acting extremely annoyed by my presence even though i was giving her my utmost respect (i was a fast food employee once too working the drive-thru, so i know the struggle). she also scolded me for my nails accidentally ripping through the bag she haphazardly gave to me (“grip the bag right, ma’am”), which i thought was...interesting. (5/23/21 10pm)

Oh Jack. Why do you do this to me? Not once, but twice we were provided without all of our items. They are severely understaffed at this location. We tried to go at 11:30pm, they're supposedly open until 12 but they said they were closed when we got there. Don't ask how I know, but I do, that their equipment and setup is provided to optimize their speed of service. Yet, we waited for 5 minutes at the call box before someone even answered us. To make it worse, we ordered on the app but we still had to wait in line which defeats the purpose...my advice to the consumer: go to another Jack in the Box. Don't order on the app unless they off in store or curbside pickup. Choose the one in McAllen because it's 24 hour. Come back to this location after the unemployment checks stop being so much that it's preventing people from looking for jobs. Food is still good though so at least there's that.

October 1, 2017 10PM. Food was good, but service was slow. We spent about 3 minutes waiting before anyone came to take our order. It was an employee on break in the dining room who had come to take our order. The kitchen area was dirty and no employee who was clocked in was in sight. They all (3 other employees including manager) appeared once our order was being placed.

I wad the only one at the drive through during lunch. I ordered a #5 added bacon w a DP. Employees was kind and followed order instructions, but my burger had way tok much ketchup and mayo and the extra bacon was so small and transparent, NOT worth it!

Well, good food, bad service. I ordered a hamburger combo at 6:13pm and didn't get my order until 6:29pm. They somehow overlooked my order. It happens sometimes but not always. The staff did apologize. But obviously there's no manager in charge overlooking the employees.

This particular jack, is always having issues. I purchased some orders of tacos only to find out it was just the shell and some just had beans only. Also, in the evening their "system" is down and that we are not allowed to wait for it to come back online because of a "timer" they use to advance the drive thru. Sounds to me like excuses to not serve. Yes, i am aware that you guys are short on staff and close down for those reasons. But dont give me lame excuses and just tell me that you guys have already cleaned and dont want to get the equipment going.

I'm came here long ago and gave a 4 star rating today that changes. They seem to not have their stuff together. Place is suddenly packed and the order has been brought back and mistaken 3 times. There have been customers here before us waiting for their food for 30 mins already. Y'all send coupons out and they don't give you what's on the coupon...🤷🏻‍♀️

I went through the drive-thru & ordered the Triple Cheesy Bacon Combo. This location was understaffed but I waited anyway. They forgot to give me my drink but I let it go. Got home ate half the burger but then noticed a hair sticking out of it. I attached photo for reference. :/

Never going to come here again. The customer service here was absolute garbage. The lady that attended us seemed like she didn't want to be there. The soft drink wasn't working properly either, so we notified the manager on duty at the time. I didn't catch his name, but he has a couple of tattoos on both of his forearms. He went to the machine looked at it, and when I say look at it I mean literally just looked at it. He didn't check it, nor did he try to find anything wrong with it. He walked away saying that there was nothing wrong with it. I'm no expert when it comes to these kinds of machines, but when the ice is getting backed up and it's pouring out black sludge instead of a drink, then there might be something wrong with it. I will advise people to stray away from this establishment, at least when it comes to breakfast.

My order was incorrect, I asked for curly fries and they gave me regular. Then when I made them aware, they charged me 30 cents for the upgrade, as if their mistake was my fault. Isn't that why they ask, "Is your order correct on the screen"? Apparently nobody is checking the screen after order is placed...

Bad customer service. They charged me wrong and gave me wrong sized items and didn’t bother to fix it. Manager gave attitude and said I wasn’t over charged and proceeded to give me wrong order to my hands. If I could now I would’ve handed it back to her and told her to fix it as I was clearly not getting what I had ASKED for and unhappy. Rude, Rude, Rude. Don’t bother being nice to them.

This was my favorite location before today. Asked for tacos with extra sauce, got charged and zero sauce. The spicy chicken sandwhich I ordered was dry and tasted like it had been there for a while.

I came at 6 am in the morning, on the website it states the drive thru is open 24 hrs and the workers there stated " they weren't going to start making food until 8am". Tonight I went at 11:35pm and the workers stated "their systems are down". I do not understand why advertise a 24 hr drive thru if that is not the case.

Took them 30+min to attend us and the restaurant was empty, when we got to the window the lady was just on her phone and rudely locked the window at us, she was forgetting things in our order. My little sister also got a bacon cheeseburger but looks like she just got the cheeseburger. We paid the money for them to forget the bacon on it. And she gave us a small meal instead of the medium.

Jack in the Box please do something about your manager here. It’s unacceptable of your part to have team members like that. She’s/he’s extremely RUDE. I’ve been 3 times to this location in the past two months and it’s the same thing with her. He’s/she’s also super rude to her coworkers. Every single time I go there she’s always out of something. I waited in the drive through line for an HOUR!!!!! Just to get to the window and they say they’re closeddd! Keep in mind they’re many cars behind us as well making line because online it says they close at 12. It is 11:20!?!?!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING FROM THIS JACK IN THE BOX!!! Trust me. No air conditioning, no ice, bathroom stall light was off and had to use the handicap bathroom and I am against it. I think the manager, she didn’t have a uniform, was yelling at the workers and was grabbing food without gloves while being very sweaty

Drive thru employee had to be repeated order over 4 times, even after I slowly said my order of only 3 items. I get home after waiting over 15-20 min for my meals and I have a chicken pita bread so hard and with 4 small crumb pieces of "so called chicken " and a strip of brown old lettuce with some hard crumbs for curly fries. One horrible JACK IN THE BOX!! Never again I'd rather travel to McAllen ...

Worst experience. Went at 1:30 in the morning. Staff was unable to get the order correct. I had repeated the order at drive thru then at the window to confirm order. Still they were unable to get the order right. Staff does not know how to listen to the customer when ordering.They billed my card and didn't even give me a receipt. This is by far the WORST customer experience I've ever had. I have never had a business refuse to give me my money back for goods/services I never received. That is called STEALING, folks. I ordered delivery directly through the website, never received my food, and everyone at the store REFUSES to give me my money back. They keep skirting responsibility, blaming it on the corporate office. The manager, Mariela, is unreachable. This is not your employees' responsibility to handle, it is the manager's, and she's never offered to help me settle this. Even then, I was told she said I could not get my money back, only the food I ordered FOUR DAYS AGO. They refuse to give me the number of the area manager to settle this. Corporate office does not answer. In times like these when people are struggling economically, local Jack in the Box operator wants to continue to screw the little guy. If you are looking for decent customer service with your meal, do NOT go here.

Ordered a Southwest Salad and was given a regular garden salad, our drinks were flat, fries were cold to my daughters meal. I normally check our meals but this time I didn’t. A business should have a working number I have been calling and calling at least 4x and all I get is an operator saying the mailbox is full. No ring tone when calling out just an operator saying again the mailbox is full and can’t receive calls or messages. It’s a business you all. Have a working number and do your job right. There was literally no line, and no people inside. There shouldnt be an excuse as to why our order was incorrect after the screen is showing EXACTLY what is being ordered. Get it together and run the business as it should. This is why there is bad reviews to this location.

Went through the drive thru to order some tenders with my gf. Lady tells us to wait in the front parking lot and they will take it out to us. So we wait and wait. Around 30 freaking minutes pass by and my gf had to get off to tell them whats the long hold up. The manager was in the front and didn’t even say sorry or anything for the inconvenience and just handed us our bag. Its like they forgot we were out there waiting! I check my food, and im missing 2 tenders! My gf had to go back in to receive them and again no sorry or anything from the lousy manager. Thats not even the worst part. We get home and my tenders aren’t even fully cooked. I bite into 1 of them and I couldn’t even bite the piece off. It was gray and cold in the middle. I never experienced anything like this at all. It wasn’t even busy at all! They also messed up another mans order as well when we went inside waiting receive our food. They need to fire everyone here and start new

i love jack in the box ! but this time they really had my balling my eyes out 😭😭 there was a lady who in the window who charged me someone elses order and took the bit i had when all i had ordered was some churros . she did not confirm the order till she charged me im real upset she said im getting my money back in 3 days which that is not fair at alll !!!!

Got disgusting old fries that had been sitting out way longer than they were supposed to, and I didn't get my creamy avocado sauce. Really annoying to spend this type of money for absolute trash food.

Went before work and although the lady sounded friendly she kept saying the wrong drink, then I get to the window and I'm waiting for 5 minutes before they even charge me or greet me. When the lady did speak she already looked all frustrated with me. I get to work and my order is missing the hashbrown. Disappointing.

Decided to dine in and was standing in the counter for about 5 minutes and no one acknowledged me. There was 3 other people waiting behind me. Had to ask the person on the drive thru for the person covering the front and Ronald answered very rudely "we are short handed". Then still had to wait another 2-3 minutes before they took my order. I can understand if they are short handed, but an acknowledgement and will be there in a minute goes a long way. They got my order wrong to top it off. I will never visit this Jack in the Box again.

Started well, but when I asked for the sauces for each individual item, taco sauce for the tacos, ranch and Buffalo dipping sauce for the nuggets and jalapeño poppers, there was attitude. I could not be given buffalo and ranch for the nuggets, one sauce was held back. (My goodness) I paid .27 cents to get my Buffalo sauce. No problem, thank God. Thanks for the attitude!! Glad to have other options other than here moving forward.

Went to order drivethru got home and missing 3 orders of tacos. Called the same night to make them aware my order was incomplete. Spoke to an employee that same night that my order was incomplete. Employee told me to go back next day to pickup what was missing and to speak with Rocio. Well they didnt want to give what was missing from my order they questioned it showed them receipt on what ph# we called to complain and told me that ph# was not working at that time that they didnt get the message. Need to retrain your employees and MANAGER about customer service

Went to get breakfast this morning and the breakfast menu wasn't even up yet and when we told the cashier over the mic she was rude and said oh yeah we will put it out I a little while and didn't even offer to say what items they had for breakfast. Needless to say we took our Business somewhere else.

Nice Service. Food was on point as well Update:I changed my Review because I ordered today and Out of 3 things I purchased.One was missing and some how I got someone else's combo. Took forever. Food was cold. One of my items I did get was completely wrong. Plus they don't answer the phone to tell them what was the right order and if they can fix it or what to do. Drive thru crazy long too. Smh Never again.

Unfortunately the many times I've came here, they could never understand what I was saying, I have to repeat myself constantly and they relay with a very different order than what I asked for, they never give you enough condiments, fries are slightly warm and turn cold in a couple minutes, I remember watching a guy flipping hash browns in the air before flinging them in the frier! I also once got told with sass that my Minute Maid Peach flavor was right that I "didn't remember what it tasted like". These people need to step up their game, stop with bad tempers, don't give attitude to your customers and pay attention!

Last visit I was informed about only having diet drinks ain’t that a pleasure to hear. Girl on the drive thru speaker was probably high cause she kept hearing small drink when I ordered a bacon cheesy Jack like where did you get small drink from? Ha thanks for offering me the water bottle instead at full price.

During noon lunch 6-9-21,when I finally drove up to the speaker in the drive thru, I was told to “wait a second”. After waiting over 15 minutes with silence from the employee and the cars in front finally moving up, I called out “hello”. The employee on the speaker said that they were not taking orders and are now closed. So I asked why wasn’t I told this when I first drove up. I asked how do I exit the drive thru when there are cars up front waiting for food and cars waiting behind me. I asked if they were out of food or why are they closed to taking orders. They said it was because they were short staffed and had too many orders. The person hesitantly agreed to take my order. I told them that I won’t eat but I need to feed my child. I was able to order my child a hamburger. I also saw the vehicle behind me was able to order.

not a place to eat if you’re looking for quality fast food as a place that had high customer service and fresh quality it has certainly failed to maintain the reputation the Jack in the Box Company strives for. the freshness of the products is equal to the motivation of the staff food was cold and burned

Bad service through and through. Every aspect of the service was wrong. Ordering food was a hassle. Besides the fact that the food was poorly put together, the food itself was wrong. The sandwiches were missing meats and the fries were bottom of the greaser. Disappointing. This has happened several times.

Their night leader was rude, never greatest. Wasn't wearing a mask, she literally wiped her mouth with her hand before she grabbed my bag from the top and gave it to me. Didn't say thank you, or sorry, just stared at me in irritation, waiting for me to go so she can get the next customer. I asked for the receipt and rolled her eyes, saying she threw it away. I threw my food away immediately in the dump trash in the back of the drive way and went a few doors down to Burger King. I am worried about catching Covid and they had zero regard for my families exposure in the car and practicing the guidelines in place. We give up on this location altogether; DON'T come here for hospitality or health code issues. Just go to Burger King, I'll miss those large curly fries though.

Female manager had me waiting in curbside15min for one chicken sandwich ordered ahead of time through mobile order. Then had attitude when I went inside to ask for my cold food that was sitting there the whole time. Wash them hands if you are going to touch your face and handle food.

They completely messed up my order , i asked for 3 burger and i got mozzarella sticks and nuggets and one late night combo, i order a delivery and the driver was very sweet he did say he got my order from the counter , confirmed with the person that it was his order and i verified that the food seal was not broken, i tried calling to sort out the mistake the store had made but they kept hanging up on me . Terrible service , i wasn’t even mad about the mistake , what got me upset is that the phone would ring and you could hear them hanging up the phone . How are they going to fix this if they don’t even bother to answer. Worst part is i even redeemed my points for this treatment.

The last taking my order couldn't even take my order correctly. After I ordered one milkshake she just stayed quiet. And then she stated that they were all sold out of the regular size milkshake she said I had to get a large and that it was only a few cents more. I just ended up leaving she seemed so confused

Starting with hygiene; the table wasn't cleaned after the previous costumer and the floor was so sticky add the beverage machine wasn't clean too and the floor was sticky too in that area, my burger was good but the onion rings over cooked. I don't like to complain but I like the menu and I hope the manager will fix this issues.

It's not that difficult to check if the inventory is spoiling seriously. I got a chicken sandwich with molding bread and a moldy jalapeno popper I threw away immediately

I put in a mobile order at 11pm but when I got there a few mins later everything was dark and cones were blocking the drive-thru even though they don't close till 12am. Guess what? My money was taken, and nobody is answering when I call (even though there is a car parked right outside). Now I'm out over $30 and my order. EDIT: They still aren't answering and it's been almost 24 hours.
