Went for first time today. Im a truck driver and parked at rest area. 4 min walk over The bartender was awesome. He recomended chicken enchiladas. They were badass. The spicy salsa was just as badass. I will def return to this place again. It was also a very pleasant walk to and from rest area. Beautiful scenery.
Fiesta's is an Edwards Staple for Mexican Food in Edwards. On my last visit, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have a great happy hour menu that I would like to revisit the next time.
We love coming here for some great food and affordable options. Fast and friendly service! The blue corn enchilada with spinach is absolutely one of my favorites.
Amazing margaritas, delicious food. Fast and big portions. Would definitely go again!
Moved out of the Vail valley years ago.I used to eat here allot glad too see it has stayed consistently awesome!
Jamie was a fantastic server and we enjoyed our rellenos and chicken enchiladas.
This is a great little place. Food is good, pricing is good and the staff was friendly. Plus, it is 5 minutes walking distance from the rest stop. You cross a bridge over the Eagle River when walking, beautiful. This truckers wife loved it!
Great food, love the white jalapeno sauce. I have been here half a dozen times wether for a meeting or just catching a meal. This place is pretty good and one of the better places to get Mexican food locally. I highly recommend the enchiladas smothered in the white jalapeno sauce.
Absolutely delicious food! Service is a bit slow for some reason.
I come all the time for the steak fajitas! They are fabulous! Maria and Jill took care of the whole restaurant themselves and everyone left happy!
This has been a favorite of mine for as long as they've been open, years and years now. Every time I drive between Colorado and California I always stop here for a meal. It is absolutely my favorite when it comes to New Mexico style Mexican food.
Best guac I’ve ever had (fine, aside from my mom’s)! Lovely staff and perfect stop on the way from Utah to Denver.
Fantastic little family Mexican place, affordable for the valley. Server was super quick, attentive, food was great. Other patrons actually respect the fact that they're in a restaurant with other folks and don't let their progeny run and scream everywhere.
Authentic Mexican with Colorado flavor, ie green chili! The combo plates will get you everything you need.
The best blue corn tortilla chicken enchiladas and truly crispy chicken enchiladas ever! And the server Barbara was excellent. Despite how busy she was she was super fast and extremely cordial! I like spicy so if you want it hot, ask for a side of their fresh chopped jalapeños!jalapeños
Had a meal today at Fiesta's and the experience was great! We got served with tortilla chips and salsa not long after we got seated. The service was prompt and friendly while the food was wonderful. We got the fajitas and shrimp rellenos. Both were excellent. Definitely will come back when we return to the area :)
This place is great!! They have standard Mexican fare and really amazing New Mexican food, too. House margs are strong and really tasty. My husband got the Tom Apple trio and I got shrimp enchiladas with the white sauce. We also got some guacamole to go with the chips and some tres leche cake. Everything was really great and service was fast.
Fiesta Cafe & Cantina is inconspicuously in a shopping center but service is top notch and food is great! We come to Steamboat frequently but have never been here until March 2022. The menu is modern (my husband got the fish tacos), I got a traditional taco meal, and the house margarita was bomb!!! Also pretty budget friendly! We will be back!
Delicious food! Went there for dinner and had a great experience, I ordered the shrimp rellenos and all I can say is I would give it a 11/10 score! Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere felt excellent. You will be seeing me here more frequently. Thank you.
They have a great Happy hour and the food is good. We had 5$ well margaritas, wings were 90 cents. For tacos get the lettuce ones and the street. We didn't need dinner later.
The New Mexico Chicken Fry with an egg was great. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was good.
While visiting the area skiing, we ordered from here as carryout. They were very friendly and the food was really good. The place seemed like it would be fun at happy hour too, but I was only there for a few minutes to pick it up.
Great lunch experience here. We were sat quickly and brought some yummy chips and salsa. We got the chicken fajita plate to share which was perfect for lunch. Im pretty positive the chicken was sauced/marinated in teriyaki sauce which was a little odd but none the less delicious. I plan to get this plate again!
Fiesta’s is a cute, down to earth place. The food is good. You can definitely tell the locals like it here and for good reason. Had never tried a chicken chile relleno before, but theirs was amazing! Highly recommend.
This is a fantastic locals restaurant if you’re looking for some great Mexican food. Our waiter was exceptional and every dish that we ordered was delicious. The burritos and enchiladas as well as the queso dip were all everything you could want in a quaint Mexican restaurant. We ordered a liter of specially margaritas that were one of the best we have had in a long time. If you get a chance to try this restaurant out, it will be worth it!
We ordered a bowl of green Chili and a beef and bean burrito. Our waitress was courteous, attentive, and responsive. We were the only ones eating in the dining area and felt comfortable the entire time. I never had to ask for more water while we ate which I always appreciate. Food quality was good, got what we paid for.
The food was great. The server was very personable, kind, attentive, and checked often to see how we were doing. When we were finished with our meal we ordered dessert. It took a very long time for the dessert to come. The server apologized and said the dessert would be on the house. After quite a while it still didn't come and the server didn't come back so we decided to find someone to pay so we could leave. A different server showed up with the dessert and apologized. They were very busy. I'm not sure why it took so long, maybe they were busier than they anticipated. The food was really good. You just need to allow time if the service is a little slow.
This place is pretty good. There are certain items on the menu that my family and I go back for. Everything else is just okay. Everyone keeps saying it's not real "Mexican" food. They don't claim to be a Mexican restaurant, but rather, a "New Mexico" style restaurant which has a different style of cooking. We went with a large group and they couldn't split up the check, but they were good about accommodating all the small children which we appreciate. Chili rellenos, enchiladas and chimichangas are a hit.
Overall very disappointing. On the plus side the waitress was really nice. And they had all white meat chicken in their enchiladas. They had a cream sauce that was good, although watery. We were very disappointed in the actual food taste. And the soda had a funky taste. I recommend choosing some place else.
Poor menu , pricey for what they got to offer , house salsa has no cilantro or fresh garlic taste in it ....if you are looking for a Mexican food it's not it ! Your choice really are only tacos, enchiladas & other rolled up not so interesting or tasty.... would not bother going there again... Not impressed!
We have been here at least 4 times over the last 15 years. So, not often, but enough to remember a lively welcoming restaurant with above average food and service. Caught the tall'ish, bearded bartender putting his hand in the restaurant vat of margarita mix while filling a gallon jug. Said "It's clean". Unsettling. Decided ordering a meal was probably unwise. Got nachos and left. Service was acceptable. Thin chips are nice. No refried beans, only their "never-fried beans". Smooth rich pinto flavor.... that's it. Overall a standard mid level experience. No smiles. Certainly no welcome.
Ordered a frozen margarita and got a regular one. We all ordered something different and it all came out looking the exact same. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and got pulled pork chimichanga, I think, not really sure what it was. The only thing good here was the salsa but the chips were cold. Don’t recommend!
Off season...they tried, but it sucked. Came in for lunch. The Fiesta Platter (app) was aweful...queso had separated, guac was tasteless, taquitos and poppers were out of a box, and beef quesadilla was dripping grease...WINGS WERE GREAT! Look forward to stopping by during season and eating the food everyone raves about.
After years of living in the valley I thought I would finally try this place. Got some chicken and beef tacos to go. Might be some of the most bland Mexican food I’ve ever had. Absolutely zero flavor meat. Salsa tastes like Pace picante 🙄 If spicy food gives you heartburn then this is the place for you! Saltine cracker level of excitement. Some of their other food looks good but it’s expensive Mexican like every other place here now.
This was the spot for Mexican food being a local but they have really gone downhill. Messed up my last order of a shrimp and chicken enchilada. It ended up having nothing but beans mixed with a chimichanga and a chunk of meat in it. The manager apologized and the next order was free but it was just as bad as the last time. Bland in taste, wrong order and overpriced. Unfortunately I won’t eat there ever again.
Took a client here for lunch. His burrito looked good but my carne asada tacos were terrible. Meat was in small chunks and way over cooked. NO flavor. Will not be back.
Chips were stale. The ground beef was gritty and reminiscent of elementary school tacos. The burrito was uninspired. On a positive note the guacamole was good as well as the green Chili. The skinny margarita was too syrupy. The service was average. Overall not worth the prices.
First red flag was the lack of Mexicans. Queso tasted like straight Velveeta cheese heated up. Rice was tainted. The stuffed poblano was the best thing. Overall, not very good and certainly not for the price.
If you want authentic Mexican food, THIS IS NOT IT. Service is great... However, when it comes to the food, not so great. My wife and I got a Menudo each, and it's nothing like we've ever had. The caldo is way too thick, and has a flavor that's not really one of an authentic menudo, and I've had a lot of menudo from people from different parts of Mexico... This is not authentic menudo. I ate it, but wasn't happy with it. My wife ended up getting a couple of (over priced, $12.45 for 2) tacos of carne asada, and the meat had no flavor. This place need major help with the Mexican food department.
This place is way over priced for what I would call fast food, not much better then Taco Bell at 15 dollars a dish. Rude staff. You always hear locals say" you have to order the right thing" for 15 dollar a plate everything should be fantastic. They always get my order wrong and the staff begs for tips evening demanding them on take out orders. Who the heck am I tipping when I order take out. This place might have been good ten years ago but it's a dirty dump now. Simple solution, charge less or get better quality food.
We wanted to give locals a chance to survive this craziness so we ordered two fiesta platters for pickup. The food was not good at all. The chicken was dry and flavorless. We asked for extra guacamole and paid for it. We got roughly 2 tablespoons worth for 2ish dollars per tablespoon. The taquitos and jalapeno poppers tasted as if they were from Costco. We left a tip on the takeout order to try and help. Kind of sorry we did.
We came here and they did not serve us or give us menus until 20 minutes later. The meat tastes like it’s frozen and expired. The fish tacos did not taste like fish and it’s very expensive for no reason. DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!
Absolutely the worst chicken fajitas I have ever had. Chicken was chicken parts not breasts. All fat and few vegetables. Never ever again.
Stale Chips? Is it the stale tortilla chips or a disagreeable server that made Memorial Day 2025 my last visit to this restaurant? I told our server the chips she gave us tasted stale, she insisted “we make them fresh every day”. I’m sorry, the basket you gave my wife and I were stale, as were the chips in the basket you brought us when I insisted on a replacement. You win, I won’t be back!
We specifically came back here for breakfast the day after our 22nd Anniversary. We did so because my wife loved the Chicken fried steak she had earlier this year. We ordered 2 of them and they came back and said only only one was left. We were sad but ok with that and they asked us to pick another entree to make up for it. We chose an enchilada one. They returned to the table with 2 enchiladas platters and no steak. We quickly said we didn't cancel the one that was available and were confused. The waitress walked off and the manager came back with the exact same plates that were sent back 4 mins later. We asked him where the chicken fired steak was..... We had literally just told a story how we had driven clear from Glenwood Springs to have the chicken fried steak and that it was our 22nd anniversary and he was so happy. Yet when he was asked where the chicken fried steak was he said that we didn't get it because they misinterpreted..... the steak was GONE. I said was it not made? He said no. I said go make it we will wait. He replied the steak is no longer available. I asked did you give it to somebody else he said It's gone guys there's no chicken fried steak. So I said you clearly gave it to someone else after you told us that there was only one available and that we needed to pick another entree to go with it. He was angry with us that we wanted what we had ordered and he clearly gave it to another customer after the interaction. They couldn't have been more rude and acted like we had done something wrong. Went from seeking the place out to wondering how a someone could be so insensitive and rude and have such bad business practices. Oh yeah the mild salsa was clearly Pace Picante 100%.
This is possibly the worst Mexican food that we have ever eaten, skip it and walk next door to the sandwich shop. Chips were stale, food had no seasoning, Tasted like hospital food. The bartender doesn’t know what a skinny margarita is, strange for a Mexican restaurant. Took a long time to get our food and not even a lunch rush.
If I could give 0 stars, I would without hesitation. This place is, without exaggeration, one of the worst restaurants a person could ever go to. To start, we were charged for extra drinks that we never ordered. When we pointed it out, the American cashier acted in a completely racist and disrespectful way toward customers, speaking rudely and making us feel uncomfortable just for asking for what was fair. Worst of all, even after clearly pointing out the mistake, they did NOT refund the money for the extra drinks they charged us. The customer service is terrible, and the entire experience was frustrating and unpleasant. I would never come back and do not recommend this place to anyone. If you value your money and being treated with respect, avoid this place.
Food was mediocre at best. Very little flavor and the meat had an ominous color to it. Shredded beef. Chips were stale and salsa tasted and looked like store shelf old El Paso. Will not be visiting this place anytime in the future. Service was lacking. Needed another napkin but waitress never came back to check on me.
Quality of the food and the drink was really bad. Girlfriend used to eat there years go, went back. Definitely not the same. Our guest could not eat the food. We couldn't. Drink was make from a powder mix when they said it wasn't. Will call manager tomorrow. Waste of money.
Wife and I had lunch there. My shredded chicken enchiladas taste like it came out of a can. My wife stated her Pasole was not fresh. Only had water and spent $44 for lunch. Would not go back again. Many fresher options available in town.
