Lulu's

This is the Best, freshest Mexican food I've eaten in Palo Alto, Peninsula and South Bay. Definitely underrated! I've been to many restaurants and Lulu's is by far the best. After eating this you can feel your body energized with excellent nutrition. I can't believe how many people give poor reviews that have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of food nor the customer service. I been to this place about a dozen times and every time I visit, Always consistent, fresh and delicious. Erica and the crew are always welcoming and friendly. I worked in the restaurant industry for 25+ years and the service is always impeccable. 👌 I came in today to buy food for my family whom my sister is at Stanford ICU and Erica was truly compassionate about my sister's well being. I wish there was more people like Erica who love what they do and show care for others in the world. I want to express my gratitude to all of the team and Erica for showing love to my family and delivering the quality of food they produce to keep us healthy. I'll be forever customer for now on! Thank you Lulu's for hiring a wonderful friendly staff. They treat you like family and that's the kind of family/business I rather give my money to. Once again Thank you from heart to yours! They make it all fresh every day! What doesn't sell goes to waste, but yes, their food is as fresh as it can be. I'm a big fan of the chiles rellenos, but their crispy tacos are also a huge favorite in our family. Be warned there are only a few tables outside to eat. Great for take out or delivery. The lemonade is a bit too sweet for my taste, but that is the only drawback in my opinion.

I stumbled on this place on my way to get poke. I decided to try them instead and it was the best decision I made all day! I ordered the fajita shrimp burrito with chips. Lulu's is our go-to spot for our "taco" Tuesdays (even though I normally get a burrito instead of tacos). I am a simple creature and find great comfort in a really good bean & cheese burrito. My favorite spot is down in LA and Lulu's is the first place in Northern California that has been consistently delectable. Their green salsa is great too! Yum. I've had their enchiladas and nachos too and have never been disappointed. Service is polite and as efficient as possible.

I was really pleasantly surprised. I live in San Jose. Shopping with a friend came upon LuLu's in Palo Alto. Had the chili relleno burrito it was very very good. Looked around at other people's orders and everyone had a big smile.

Food is great, I love their spicy red sauce! Avoid lunch time during school days it's too busy. Food is great, I love their burrito bowls. They have nice seating outside with umbrellas.

Today was my second time at Lulus. I had the chile relleno burrito (super) guacamole and crema on the side and paid ~$3 to add Pollo Asado. After the second bite, I realized they did not add the pollo asado... upset I paid extra and added tip and didn't enjoy what I paid for..:(

If you want true authentic Mexican food avoid this place is to americanize like a chipotle or taco bell

Lousy value super burrito... mostly just rice, some black beans and only a few bits of chicken. Although I ordered gluten free tortilla it sure seemed like plain old inflammatory four.

The lady who packed my lunch carried trash and handed me food without changing gloves. When I asked her about it, she said it was not trash but it was. Disappointed. Stopped heading out here. Lulus on main street is the best

I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review before until tonight when the folks working there were so outrageously rude and unpleasant. This is an issue that could easily be dealt with through better management!

I got a burrito bowl with green cilantro rice. The entire bowl was under seasoned and the rice was so hard I almost cracked a tooth. The chips were so thick and crunchy I could hardly get through 5 of them without fear of further dental trauma. For the price per item this feels like a friendly reminder to myself that I can make something 10x better for 1/4 the price

I've never wanted to leave a review until tonight, but the folks working there were downright vulgar and unpleasant. One server dared to be openly rude when I asked for a refill. Are you kidding me? Another one dismissed me like I was nothing when I inquired about the ingredients in a dish. This management problem could be fixed in no time if they knew what they were doing! The service was atrocious! It's rude and utterly unhelpful. I bought a carnitas burrito, and let me tell you, the meat was fatty and bland. Disgusting! The small nachos with carnitas? Gross. I took one look and said it looked like vomit. Spot on, kiddo! I will NEVER be going back. What a complete waste of money! And the food? Don't get me started on the food. This is terrible Mexican food, and it's grossly overpriced for the location. I've had the mini-super burrito twice, thinking maybe the first time was a fluke. Nope, both times, it was awful! The salsas are unbearably spicy and taste stale. I HATE spicy food, and this was just over the top. So, here it is: avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy being treated like garbage and eating overpriced slop!
