One of my go-tos when the family is hungry and want something quick but healthy and with authentic slow-cooked flavor. We make an annual stop at Taco Tote in El Paso and it never disappoints! The mushroom tacos are a wonderful vegetarian option. And the salsa bar is an experience and a great value (free with an entree purchase). Teresa did a great job keeping the dining room clean and taking care of us during our visit. We’ll be back!

Best tacos in Texas! We've been here twice on our way through El Paso. Everytime we've been so happy with the freshness and flavor of the tacos. The salsa bar is excellent as well!

Great food and good service in a friendly atmosphere. My family and I have eaten here several times. It's always been nice and we will return soon.

I placed an order online for pickup. First, there is not a designated area for order pickup. Could be an easy fix, but it did require me at park and enter the premises. I went up to the counter, with a copy of my order printed from the website. The girl at the counter seemed very confused, asked me who I was picking up for. I told her me, and she went to another employee. Now they both looked lost. Finally they asked what appeared to be a supervisor who found my order in a bag. I asked if the "fixings" we're in there and the server pointed to the bar and said I had to get my own. I really felt like I missed out on the convenience of online ordering.

Taco Tote never disappoints! The tacos were delicious the meat was well seasoned, the tortillas were fresh, and the salsa bar had great options. Service was friendly and quick, and the place had a relaxed, clean atmosphere. It’s a solid spot if you’re in the mood for tacos done right. This time, I had tacos al pastor as part of a meal that included a drink and a side.

This taco place was recommended to me by a few colleagues. The food is good and well portioned. The highlight of this place is the salsa bar. From mild to OH Jesus!!! Seriously, the salsas were awesome. The veggies in the salsa bar were amazing. The tacos were seasoned and flavorful. One thing that is off-putting is the service. The cashier with green hair has no customer service skills. I asked a question and looked at me as if bothered. When service is bad, your meal just does not taste as good.

Taco Tote has been around for a while, and I know their concept started in Cd. Juárez, not El Paso. The idea is great, and they do have good salsas and sides. But the meat could be better, and they always seem to skimp on it. A group of three of us ordered the family platter, which ended up being $70 for lunch. For that price, I expected more. The tortillas were pretty bad, and the meat was just okay—not as good as I remember from the past. We also ordered calabacitas, and the serving was barely half full. What doesn’t make sense is that the family meal only comes with four small sides, and no drinks. For $70, that feels stingy. Honestly, it comes across as greedy. Maybe we ordered wrong, I don’t know. Overall, it was okay, but not worth the price.

Worst Taco-Tote I’ve ever been, the restrooms were nasty!!!, trash on the floor, dirty tables. The guy at the front did not put our order correctly and when they re do the order it took like 20 minutes for 3 tacos. 😒would not recommend it, and would never come back. Disappointing !!!

Taco Tote on Bassett, a total let down. It’s been something that’s been declining for a few years now. However this last visit was definite. The food was warm when served…about 30min after order was placed! The potato, blah, still hard so bring a heat gun to thaw it out. The dining area is dirty, nearly all tables dirty, floor and drink/salsa counters dirty. Chips were stale and crumbs. Perhaps new management, but not pleasant at all. A disappointment to say the least. Already known for expensive tacos, but the entire experience is surely over-rated now. It’s a shame, many years ago Taco Tote was a great place to eat for a reasonable price.

Came to eat at around 5:30pm. Ordered tripitas tacos and a drink. When I received my plate made me a taco. When I was about to bite I see a huge hair on my food which instantly killed my appetite. I got up returned the plate to a guy who had a black shirt no hat. I got no apology or any kind of reaction. So I decided to ask for a refund and he at least immediately did that. When this happened I looked around and I saw no hairnets and a girl had her bangs out. Regardless I will not be returning here due to poor customer service and the way situation was handled.

Ordered a family platter through the drive thru, theres a sign that says check your order cause they dont offer refunds or exchanges. Checked my bag and everything was in there but then I get home and realize I got a bowl of fat, every bite. So when they say check your order they mean open everything and make sure theyre not just giving you all fat pieces.
