Touted as an Elk Grove institution by the quilting ladies in the sew & vac next door, which served large portions, we gambled on lunch and struck it rich! The decor is western, stagecoach theme, as the name suggests. The booths had a comfortable seat cushion. We order the Sourdough burger. We got fries and soup or salad with it. No up charge for onion rings or sweet potato fries, which we both ordered. The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve had! Ranch dipping dressing was good too. The chicken tortillas soup was fresh and homemade. Yummy! The burgers, ordered medium, were large and spot on! Hand formed fresh meat perfection! A pile of iceberg lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and purple onion shavings were stacked on side, the bbq sauces cups came on a separate plate. Waitress check backs were great. We came in at 1:00 pm and were out by 2:00. Homey atmosphere, with the wait staff telling kind affectionate stories about the ownership. Woman’s bathroom was homey and warmly decorated. The men’s room…not so much. Lol! Clean enough though!

If you want to eat at a restaurant where the bathrooms are clean, has spectacular customer service with delicious food, then give Stagecoach a try. My mom, who is handicap, and I stopped here to eat breakfast. We arrived with the restaurant having all the tables fully occupied, a line to the door for guests wanting to dine in and other guests entering to pickup carryout. The staff were pleasant, professional and within 10-15 minutes had found the perfect seating for me and mom (who needed a table that allowed her to sit in her walker-chair). Our food arrived about 10 mins after ordering. Everything arrived temperature appropriate and full of flavor. Our empty plates confirm its deliciousness. I highly recommend Stagecoach to anyone wanting a clean environment, great food and service and a place that makes them feel that they are eating at grandma's/dear friend's house. A side note, while waiting, I started talking to the guests who proudly stated that they had eaten at Stagecoach on more than one occasion and the food is always delicious. Thank you Stagecoach for giving a couple of travelers a pleasant and delicious experience.

Breakfast there today. Had eaten at other locations and was not disappointed. The food was good. The service was great. The restaurant was busy, but it was so worth the wait. We both had the big breakfast with bacon, eggs, and a pancake.

First time trying out this restaurant, we were the 1st ones to arrive when they opened at 6 o'clock in the morning on Saturday. Our waitress was quick to come over to see if we needed anything and to get our drink orders started. She was also happy to answer my questions I questions about the different dishes. There is quite a good selection of menu items including a vegetarian menu. Shown here is a savory crepe dish that came with 2 sides, I chose hash browns and grits. My husband ordered the corn beef hash dish. Both of our meals were extraordinarily tasty and we will be happy to return soon to try more!

Fine diner fare, place gets busy but service is prompt and staff is friendly with very reasonable prices. Everything we tried was cooked as ordered and tasty. Portions are on the larger side. The blueberries in the Crepe were the only off note, just not in season and they were tasteless. Coffee was warm at best but it was better then most diners. The decor is pretty standard and the place is showing it’s age, but it’s comfortable. The biggest issue is that they just play a radio station and at too high a volume.

The homemade muffins are delicious, especially the seasonal caramel apple my muffins. The grits are really good here as well. Be prepared to have a long wait, especially after church on Sundays tho.

Normally love Stagecoach, but the last couple of times I've been the food hasn't been that great! Prices increased a bit and the food is not worth the price. My food yesterday was just ok! Staff here is great I will say!

Love eating at Stagecoach. I prefer this location over the Florin location. This place is always busy. You can tell a lot of local and regulars eat here. My only gripe is if I'm going to pay $4 for a cup of coffee, then please spend a little more money and give your loyal patrons a decent cup of coffee. Now that doesn't mean order better coffee and increase your price. Just give me a decent cup worth $4. The crap coffee you guys serve currently is insulting to your loyal customers. Small fix, huge reward.

Only 2 stars because the food was good. However when there is alot of people coming in and they're writing names down and they know people are outside waiting and they have a small waiting area why would they not go outside to call people? Waited and let the person in front know we were outside and they proceeded to call my name, never came out and skipped me!! After I waited for half an hour. Then the man child in front wanted to give an attitude and try to smart mouth that they were busy instead of acknowledging they should be calling the people waiting outside too!! They are all teens that work there so yeah.. wouldnt recommend going here if they tell you to wait. Unless you dont mind being packed in like sardines and all in the servers face like a puppy waiting to be fed.

Walked in to the place kind of busy I’m thinking the food will be good but I ordered Breakfast food that doesn’t require a bunch of seasoning but some is needed especially in French toast but everything thing needed way to much help service wasn’t to bad but the chef needs help Dennys an ihop serve better food on a regular basis

I went there on Friday, January 30. They were busy. The woman who took my name said my wait would be about 5 minutes. I requested a table so I could use my walker as a seat. Two couples came in after me. When the first got seated, I figured I would be next. The second couple was shown to their seats. By this time I had waited over 15 minutes. I got up and left Stagecoach and went over to Denny's. I had about the same breakfast I would have had at Stagecoach. It was literally $7.00 less. My service at Denny's was very good. It is my opinion, having eaten at both restaurants, that Stagecoach is a bit overpriced. My previous experience at Stagecoach have been very good, especially at the one on.Florin road in Sacramento. Single patrons, beware: some restaurants can ignore you for the larger group. For me being partially handicapped and 72 , I shall not be ignored if a place wants my business. .

Signed in and went to the restroom. We checked back in 15 min later and the host said “it’ll be 20 min”. They said they called our name and we weren’t there. They also were rude when asking about the booth we asked for. When I asked for a normal table they said all their tables only seat 4 so the waits are long. We left.
