Kids and parents love Raising Cane's food! They taste so good! My kids would swear by Cane's sauce! They always buy extra to use at home whenever we go there.
I normally don't write reviews but wanted to share the fantastic experience I had with Stephanie, Joy and their crew with a large catering order that I had placed for a medical office. 5 stars across the board.
First time i tried raising canes and the food was very good. The employee who took my order was very nice. And I will defiantly come back.
First time at canes and we weren’t disappointed! The chicken fingers are moist, tender, and the breading is perfect. Fries were hot and plentiful. Service was fast presented nicely. Music playing in restaurant was rather loud but overall atmosphere was good. Lemonade was better than other fast food places. We are from out of town so I hope the other franchises near our home are just as good!
Fresh food great customer service clean well lit location nice size parking lot and they offer military discount. Me and my family enjoyed this location and the food a lot. Booth was clean and ready for us to sit down. Had an amazing dine in experience with my kids last night before our movie; first timer and I loved the sauce and the strips where perfect nice juice meaty chicken; some locations is more batter than meat but I was please and satisfied here. Will bring my family back again. Cashier was helpful and extremely nice. Patiently waited on us as we figured out what we wanted to eat; even mad a few suggestions. Great location! Short wait!
I've never been to Cane's and wasn't planning on going here..but when I saw the double deep car lines and people waiting outside for their order.... seemed like it was worth checking out.. The chicken is tender and the sauce is good.. I love the fat crinkle French fries 🍟, , the toasted bread is the soft, chewy, buttery kind 😋.
Had canes elk grove. Food was good. My only complaint is that their strips need to be crisper. Their service was amazing! Ambiance is cute & they gave the kids a football for superbowl Sunday. That was sweet
I love Canes. But this time I went inside instead of the drive thru. The young lady taking the order did not enter anything into the prompted until I was finished speaking. I thought it was very impressive. Only to find out she entered in my order wrong. Maybe train your staff to enter in the order as the customer is ordering. Still love the food. But maybe I'll just stick to the drive thru
I'm not sure if at one point all these chicken places were better than they are now. But I don't get the hype. I've had Dave's Hot Chicken, Spicy Chix, Chic Fil A and more. All are mid. There is nothing wrong with Raising Canes, the chicken is fine, a bit bland, but fine. The Canes sauce also is fine, nothing special about it. I paid $20+ for 6 tenders, fries, a piece of Texas toast, a small coleslaw and a drink. The chicken was mid like the sauce like I said. The fries were fine I guess. The Texas Toast was likely the best thing. The coleslaw was just likes KFC. Not sure it was worth the price. Seems no one can reinvent the wheel. KFC has done it for years and is mid, same with a these other places. The best seems to be Popeyes and their chicken sandwich.
Cain's need to work on remembering to give the customers their extra sauce cups that they have to purchase to get the right amount to add to the chicken fingers. Too many time they have forgotten ours and we have to call them and explain to them and then tell them when we go through the drive thru again.
This place is always hit and miss for me. I got 2 of the caniac combo and it was okay. Last time I had it we in the O.C. and it was so much better so I decided to try this location again and it's not as crunchy and that was what I was craving for their fingers. 2nd time at this one and again it was okay.
It was fine. The chicken was good, but not great. I don't get what the hype is all about. The fries are crinkle cut, cafferteria style. Yuck. Dairy Queen has better Texas toast. Caine's is plain. The Caine sauce is just a fry sauce - ketchup and mayo - with black pepper added. The tables were all wet with sticky swirls. Like an employee mopped up a soda mess and just spread it around with the same sopping towel. After passing by the third sticky table, I went to restroom and dampened a paper towel, so I could clean a table to eat at. The music playing is too loud. I am not at all impressed. At least not in a positive way.
Sandwiches 🥪 are good, really good. How much do we need another place with yet more chicken 🐔🍗 items on the menu... more so the only thing on the menu? In my opinion not very much! The strange arrogant attitude of the employees with their hard domineering blank stairs and self-assuming behavior says a great deal about the core beliefs here. I certainly didn't feel invited, excited nor comfortable. Not a good experience...not even memorably neutral to be quite candid. The place was dead (2 cars including me) while the employees sucked in their cheeks, rolled their eyes. The food is good, too bad it's just simply chicken. As far as dynamic employees during my short visit? No one stood out here as a super star. In fact I was blamed for slowing their time [training] asking them what's "good to order?". I took the blame saying "yep it's all my fault" when accused of such a sardonic comment directed to a brand new customer. No customer retention here 👋. I'll never go there again, and after spending over $10 bucks on what you see pictured below I'm still a little hungry tbqh. Pros -Pretty great fried chicken sandwiches from the chicken recipe to the bread and flavor 👍. To make it is one thing but to reproduce it with each order 👏 to the chef engineers as well as cooks. -Fries just ok and Cane's gives very few FYI -Good Coleslaw Cons -Poor customer service -Immature employees with no core company principle focus nor understanding -Rude condescending employees -No one offered condiments $10.43 (still a little hungry tbh) Key Take Away? "I'll never go back again, I don't need chicken that bad"
I wasn't impressed. Like other reviews, I too think the chicken is bland. $0.40 for additional sauce is expensive and the sauce isn't that good to be their only sauce (aside from ketchup). The bun was excellent and the Texas toast was great, very tasty. BUT not worth $21 for two people to dine on two combos. Further, this restaurant opened approximately 2 months ago and it was filthy. The walls were tore up from chairs hitting them. The floors were sticky too. My biggest complaint is that the music is very loud and many of the employees were sitting together acting like they were in highschool (probably because they are).
They get 2 stars because the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and outgoing. The chicken... why would you serve steaming hot crispy fried chicken in a plastic box with no paper to absorb the steam. I ordered 5 fingers, it came in a closed plastic box. I ate them 5 minutes after receiving and they were all absolutely soggy and disgusting on the bottom. Im happy I didn't order fries, as im sure they would be drenched and soggy also. On top of the fact that the bottom half was just soggy breading, they had no real flavor. It tasted like if I boil chicken in water without seasoning. Gross food. Won't be coming back.
Food was very mid. Extremely greasy and way over salted. Chicken wasn’t crunchy at all. Interior decor is tacky and ugly. My biggest complaint is why do you charge for extra sauce? Literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of. I don’t go to a bbq restaurant and get charged for extra bbq sauce.
I order from this location on Uber eats. The last 4 times I've ordered they've sent the wrong drinks, the wrong items, missing items, and this last time the fries were so salty encrusted that they were completely inedible. Idk what happened or if you just hate us for some reason but your food is inedible. Sending two drinks that are the correct size and or the correct beverage used to be something doable for your location. What happened?
The chicken is good but not worth the price because the pieces are too small. 4 pieces of chicken, a slice of bread, some fries, a small thing of cole slaw is $13. $12 for a chicken sandwich and barely any fries. And they charge you $0.45 extra for their cane sauce and honey mustard. They didn't even give me the sauce. Check your bag before you drive away. Not worth it. One and only time I'll be giving them my business.
To Whom It May Concern, I visited Raising Cane’s today for the very first time, using a gift card I received for my birthday. My visit was at approximately 11:25 AM, and I was the only car in the drive-through. What should have been a simple, positive first experience turned into something genuinely disappointing due to the conduct of the manager on duty. When I pulled up to the speaker, the audio was breaking up, so I politely let the employee know I couldn’t hear her clearly. I placed my order, and when she asked what drink I wanted, I said, “It doesn’t matter — surprise me.” I do this regularly at other restaurants, and it has never been an issue. There was a 3–5 second pause, and then a male employee — who identified himself as a manager — abruptly cut in. His tone was unnecessarily aggressive and rude, telling me they were “not allowed” to do that and that I had to choose a drink. His delivery came across as if I was asking for something unreasonable, when all I had done was give freedom of choice for a standard drink. I reiterated that it wasn’t a big deal and he could choose anything, yet his attitude only worsened. After that, he asked me another question — something about condiments — but spoke so quickly and dismissively that I genuinely could not understand him. I asked him to repeat himself three separate times, and each time he responded at the same rushed speed, sounding irritated, as if I was inconveniencing him by simply trying to understand what he said. His tone made it very clear this was intentional. When I pulled up to the window, the original employee, Gabriella, assisted me and she was polite and professional. I told her that her manager’s behavior was completely unnecessary. When I asked for the manager’s name, she stepped away to speak with him and returned to tell me she was “not allowed” to give it. That alone raises concerns, as transparency should not be an issue in a customer-facing business. For a first-time visit, this experience was absurdly rude, unprofessional, and completely uncalled for. The manager’s tone, attitude, and refusal to communicate clearly were unacceptable. If corporate reviews the drive-through audio or video for this transaction, it will be obvious I am being truthful. Gabriella did her job well. The manager, however, created an experience so unnecessarily hostile that I feel obligated to report it. No customer should be spoken to in that manner for something as harmless as saying, “Surprise me with a drink. For the record, I’ve never called management or corporate to make a complaint in my entire 36 years of life. Visit details: 12/04/2025 11:25AM Manager : ? Check Number: 16001 Drive through
Found hair on chicken after I took a bite, definitely not coming here again if they can't even prevent something as simple as hair in food. Chicken was okay, but the bread was soggy for whatever reason.
Went today on a Friday night around 10 p.m got 4 box combos for my family and kindly asked for extra hot sauce but when we were given only 6 packets (I counted them) we asked if we could get some more, a young lady kindly went to get us more when all of a sudden some grumpy lady boy wearing pink/red with glasses came and snatched the sauce she was about to give us right out the employees hand RIGHT in front of us then he proceeded to yell at her saying that's too much and he already gave us a "big" handful. 6 packets is not a "big handful" at the end of the day it wasn't even about the sauce it was the way he spoke to us and the way he speaks to the other employees just trying to do their job. I'm a supervisor at a fast food place and i would never speak to my employees that way especially not humiliating them in front of customers. You know who you are! next time take a breather and smile or you will always be disliked (maybe thats why you are the way you are) your fast food minimum wage job can never be that serious bud.
