Just moved here last month. Noticed this spot a couple times. Finally gave it a try today. Beef bahn mi and shrimp spring rolls were delicious! I’ll be back.

The sandwiches are HUUGGGE and so good! Every component was terrific, the bread had the perfect texture, the meat was super tasty, and the sauce and vegetables worked great together. And only $9! IMO, best lunch spot in Emeryville hands down

Great spot for delicious food. Drinks were wonderful too. The people were helpful while I was taking time to decide what I wanted to order. The table outside is a nice spot to eat while reading/ working.

Food was fresh. Had the beef vermicelli and spring rolls. Customer service was great. The lady at the register was nice and polite.

A friend recommended that I try this place while I was visiting from Las Vegas. This place has great food and Boba drinks. You are near the Bay in the Emeryville area so the weather is nice, with plenty of shopping near by. When you walk in the door you are greeted with staff that are eager to serve you. They have an assortment of Bun MI sandwiches, and a great selection of Boba drinks. I can’t say enough about this. I will definitely visit again!!

The mushroom tofu spring rolls are something worth writing about! They're quite flavorful, yummy, and light. It's a perfect on-the-go meal, and such a reasonable price. And the service was great! I'll be back to try their other vegetarian options.

solid banh mi at a reasonable price! Vietnamese iced coffee was good too. Affordable and good all around!

Supporting local business in Emeryville. Note that this place is on Christie opposite to FedEx, not inside the public market. The noodles, while not the best pho in the bay area, they are decent. Both noodles they served came with delicious broth. Unlike many pho places, these didn't leave you with a dry mouth. Wish their beef can be softer and more tendered - that's the only (but critical) place to lose shine. You know - always room for improvement. Can't wait to come back and try their banh mi.

One of the better options in the area for food. Its a small, with a very "hole-in-the-wall" feel, but only in the very best way. Food tastes fresh and feels authentic. Better than other Vietnamese food I've had in the immediate vicinity. Bahn Mi is good, as is their cabbage salad.

Great drinks. I had the Ube coffee. My wife had a matcha latte. They ask you how sweet you want your drinks. Get the nem nuong banh mi or beef and onion banh mi. My wife and I felt like we were back in Vietnam when we saw the cholimex and chin-su sauce on the tables for the customers. The cafe is pretty no frills and has limited space. Lunch was pretty cheap, and it was good. I'd come back to Comeback Cafe.

The menu is different and the foods also taste completely different. I order shrimp spring roll but the sauce has heavy coconut flavor which I am not the fan of that. I like the old menu and foods much better.
