Decided to go here on a whim! The food we ordered was delicious! Literally ate it up! We ordered the "Crispy Chicken Rama" and "Tofu Rama Peanut Sauce" (both of these dishes came with rice on the side). Pretty big portions and super filling for the price! Plus, the ambiance was nice: simple and homey. Also learned this place is family-owned as well! Definitely will be one of my new few go-tos when I'm in the area! I'll be more adventurous and try different dishes next time! :)
HUNGRY HUNGRY BOWL 😋 Munch munch munch. That’s all I did at this place. Got the Pad see yu! Delicious stuff. Truly incredible. I would love to bring my family here one day once I find a woman I love and have a beautiful baby girl and an alright son. I don’t know when that will happen. I’ll I can do is picture that perfect family. Posing at a table at the hungry bowl thai. Smiling. Most of us. Baby Elise is crying. She’s being racist and not enjoying her food. She’ll get over it tho and we’ll laugh about it when we’re going through the photo albums. Thanks! 💂
Ran into this place while jogging. Was attracted by the graffiti outside. Went in and ordered Khao Kha Moo recommended by the owner. The pork leg is so tender, juicy and flavorful. Most importantly, it has that homemade tastes, not overpowering. If I ever pass by this place, will definitely try other dishes.
Delightful restaurant. I came here on a whim while searching for a place to grab a quick bite at. It ended up being my favorite spot for sesame chicken in the city. Certainly an unexpected turn of events. Unfortunately I haven't been able to return here in a few weeks due to the distance, but definitely going to visit again. The staff is very friendly and I feel the wait time is reasonable. Hope to try more items on the menu next time!
Great neighborhood Thai spot! We've gone here twice now (takeout and dine in). The mural outside originally brought us in and we've enjoyed the food and interacting with the staff as well. We usually get the lunch special and we've enjoyed the pad see ew, crispy pork, green curry, and panang curry. All of it has tasted authentic and been a good deal!
Thai Street food gem in Williamsburg! I finally found the place to eat real taste Thai food in my neighborhood. They have launch special, but we went for dinner menu. - Khao Ka Nah Moo Krob is perfect: spicy crispy pork belly sauteed with Chinese broccoli top with fried egg. They make it Thai spicy so you should let them know if you want less spicy. - Duck Noodle Soup is wonderfully taste normally when I eat noodle, I always add more condiment to the soup, but I don't need to add anything to this noodle. I enjoy the food so much and service is very nice and friendly. The place just opened for months so I believe as much as people know how delicious the food at this restaurant, they will be more popular and busier. I definitely, going back to try more food. RECOMMENDED!
This place really hit the spot. The staff were warm, helpful, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. I got the curry puff and the Massaman curry with shrimp. The puff was good—crispy and well-made—but could’ve used a bit more spice to really pop. The Massaman, though? That was the star. Rich, flavorful, and comforting in all the right ways. It’s the kind of dish that pulls you back in. All in all, a strong, dependable spot I’ll definitely be returning to. Just shy of perfect—but in the best way.
This is a very cute spot in Brooklyn that serves delicious food! We were a huge group of friends, and everything we ordered was amazing — the starters, Penang curry, Massaman curry, Thai Basil fried rice, and much more. They also had a lot of vegetarian options, which was really cool! The Thai iced tea is a must-try here! The staff was very friendly and sweet.
BK Belly is a neighborhood staple and a must-go. A cozy Sunday night in, a quick Tuesday remedy, whatever you need!!! Go here without hesitation.
I have nothing but good things to say about BK belly. There’s a lot of competition in the neighbourhood for Thai food but I find myself coming back here for the consistently incredible food and remarkable service. I’ve tried half the menu at this point but the Kee Mao and Duck Noodle Soup are standouts (such a generous portion of duck!). It’s clear there’s so much love being put into the space and the food. They’ve recently given the interior a big facelift and rebranded, every time I come back it’s busier and busier. The staff are all lovely and attentive, your water glass will hardly get below half, which you’ll need if you order some of their spicier dishes. I love this place and I’m so happy for their recent success, it’s very well deserved!!
Best Thai food I’ve ever had! I come here all the time, the best and most fresh food. The employees are also so so kind <3 Love this place, been coming here for years
We ordered delivery and the driver didn’t come pick up the food from the restaurant. The owner delivered it herself and was incredibly kind on a very cold night. Great Thai food too!
One of the best places in the neighborhood!! The service is fantastic and the food is always amazing! Can’t recommend this spot enough
At BK Belly, every bite hits differently. The balance is right - spicy heat, citrusy tang, a little sweetness, and that deep umami that keeps you chasing the next forkful. The duck was tender, not dry, and the curry was rich and aromatic without being heavy or overly sweet. Good heat, deep flavor, and plenty of sauce. Fried Chive Dumplings are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and super fragrant from the chives. Not greasy, just really satisfying — especially dipped in the sauce. What we ordered : - Guichai Tod (Fried Chive Dumplings) - Summer Roll Shrimp - Fried Calamari - Beef Pad See Ew - Salmon Eggplant Basil - Kang Ped Lychee Duck Curry - Chicken with ginger - Thai Ice Tea and coffee
Come here many times this month! Repost with some new photos!! Delicious Thai street foods!! Every dishes we ordered were very well executed. They do give you a generous portion with a reasonable price point! The menu is extensive and offers many traditional thai dishes. We were informed that they're famous for their crispy pork, mince meats with fried egg. We'll def try that next time! This is a very cute and cozy thai place with welcoming atmosphere. The service is kind and attentive. We'll absolutely coming back for more:)
Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredibly delicious, and the restaurant’s décor was beautifully done — stylish, cozy, and full of charm. The service was excellent, with super friendly staff who made the whole experience even better. The drinks were flavorful and refreshing. Overall, everything was just perfect — truly a delightful and satisfying experience!
This place is such a gem! I live in the neighborhood, but this was my first time visiting and it was incredible. Food was delicious, the staff was extremely kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is lovely. I had the Chef Special Sam Rod, and I can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely be coming back!
Hungry Bowl Thai was a yummy surprise! Everything we ordered was delicious and our server Jessie was so amazing. We loved everything about this little Thai restaurant full of authentic dishes and a homey vibe. There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options as well. We will definitely visit again!
This spot is very cute and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. I tried their lunch special appetizer + entree and their strawberry lychee iced tea which was amazing. The price is decent as well >$30. Would definitely come back here again!
Got take out food today at BK Belly. With their new management, the place now looks absolutely stunning! Chef Nong and her teams are here still, so the foods are always top notch! This is truly my Thai Street food spot in Bushwick. I got the ground beef kaprow (thai spicy) which comes with fried egg and a thai ice tea. Will be back again next time for their famous crispy pork belly!
My girlfriend and I have had take out here before many times and it’s always been great, but last night we chose to eat at the restaurant which was a lovely experience. The food, the ambiance, the music even added to a delightful dining journey.
Amazing food and great portions. Friendly staff. The inside is beautifully renovated and inviting! BYOB for now so come while you can with a bottle of wine and friends and have some amazing food
Authentic Thai food with good service! We came as a large group (10+ people), and the server was incredibly patient and helpful with our orders. Despite the restaurant being fully seated and several people waiting for takeout, the wait time was very reasonable. The portions were generous, packed with plenty of meat. I ordered Khao Ka-Nah Moo-Krob Khai Dao and it was tasty. Also, their Thai iced tea was super refreshing. Highly recommend!
When I was a kid, this place used to be a poultry shop and smell, I hated walking down this block and would avoid it when I could. I searched Thai food to eat with my cousin and found out this place is now a restaurant. I was so amazed! The server was delightful, food was amazing and teas were refreshing! I got strawberry green tea and my cousin got Lemon green tea. We got Shrimp summer rolls , pineapple fried rice with beef and Thai fried rice with shrimp. (Forgot to take a pic of that) this was a great experience even though the food took a little long to come, I was very happy. Portion size was nice and food was affordable for a night out. Casual digs right in my home neighborhood. Safe to say I won’t be avoiding this block anymore!
The food was fantastic, but the customer service truly stood out! Our server was incredibly attentive. The dishes were delicious and generous in portion, leaving us with plenty of leftovers!
I love their Thai Tea and Beef soup. Papaya salad was less spicy and for me it went to the lime taste. Next time I will tell less lime. 😊 8/10
Their crispy pork belly basil with rice and fried egg was so amazingly good! soooo tasty and yummm...I'm a pork belly person, and this place is my "go to spot" now from my treasure hunt!
Lovely little neighbourhood Thai place with delicious dishes and warm, friendly service. I had the Thai salad and red curry (forgot to photograph the curry as I got straight into eating it!) and both were delicious! Generous serving sizes and value for money too! I’ll definitely come back!
As a Thai American, I can vouch that this place is authentic!! I usually shy away from Thai restaurants in the U.S. because they are usually too sweet and only have standard menu items that are more well known to Western tastes. However, this place is the real deal and reminds me of meals I’ve had growing up in Thailand. I highly recommend coming here!!
I only came in for a Thai Iced Tea and was so happy with my experience. The staff were very kind and thoughtful, offering me fresh cold water while I waited. They even encouraged me to sit down at a table and take my time to enjoy my Iced tea 💗 they were both very sweet and the music was so relaxing. The Thai Iced tea was literally perfect amount of sweetness and I added jellies so there was a little sour to it. Very satisfied! This is a place I will be coming back to try the food!

Amazing amazing amazing!!! BK Belly has the best authentic Thai food (although I usually always go with the usual pad thai or pad see ew) & such a great staff and environment! The lunch specials are amazing and the happy hour is always very cozy and yummy. Such a staple in the neighborhood<3
The atmosphere is calming and it is a great place to meet up with friends to catch up. The food is reasonably priced and freshly made. The staff were attentive and friendly.
