Highly recommend this place! I have celiac disease so finding places that can accommodate my diet can be tricky. This place has the absolute best gluten free soft pretzels!! Their sourdough rounds are amazing! Tons of pastries to choose from as well as a vast array of vegan items. Had the avocado toast and vegan cheesecake and they were to die for.

First time at this café today and I absolutely loved it! I had the freshest avocado toast and a matcha latte - both were delicious, and the service was wonderful. The desserts are incredible, and I was so happy to see a great selection of dairy-free options. The meringue roll was insanely good! Highly recommend.

Please do not sleep on Gluten off bakery! It's definitely a gluten-free AND vegan destination spot in Sacramento! Most menu items have vegan versions or options, it's safe for celiac, and the space is peaceful and stylish! My favorites so far: the cherry pie, the vegan pizza well done with light cheese, and the Americano. And the service is second to none!

I have been gluten free for over 20 years. It is so rare to find a dedicated gluten free bakery that is outstanding in every way. The turkey sandwich was delicious and I purchased 3 of the different varieties of the sourdough bread to go. It was the best I’ve had! The customer service was top notch as well! An all around wonderful experience. I will be back next time I am in Sacramento. Thank you for all the love you put into your baked goods. I wish you every success.

First time trying a gluten-free bakery overall my experience was very positive. Tried a turkey and cheese sandwich it was very fresh and delicious along with cheesecake with chocolate drizzle also fresh and delicious will definitely try that again… 🥰. Carrot ball was just OK. Don’t think I would try that one again it had a weird taste to it wasn’t sure what it was. I could tell it was fresh carrots also purchased some sourdough which was also very fresh.

My boyfriend and I were in town visiting my brother and we decided to visit this bakery and were very happy that we did. The moment we walked in we became very comfortable and all of the staff were very welcoming and kind. I personally have celiac’s disease and was very excited at the variety of gluten free baked goods they had all at reasonable prices. Everything tasted amazing and the bakery itself looked so nice. Even my brother and boyfriend who can eat gluten liked the goods that the bakery had to offer, unfortunately I live way too far to regularly visit but hopefully I can stop by again sometime in the future.

This place is awesome. Just tried it for the first time this weekend with my toddler who is gluten free. She loved her hot dog roll. I got a tuna wrap and my wife got a smoked salmon sandwich. Everything was delicious. The only criticism would be that my tortilla wrap did fall apart toward the end, but in fairness I travelled home before eating it. The atmosphere is great for grownups but a bit quiet for a toddler to sit down and be themself. $40 for a family of three to eat a nice gluten free cafe lunch is great, probably would have spent more at Taco Bell for terrible food. Subjectively, the extra hot horseradish is about a 3 out of 10 in hotness level. We will be back!

If you like sweet gluten free items, this is your spot. I go for the sourdough bread (many flavor varieties), pizza, and hot dogs wrapped in bread you'd swear was wheat. So good!! Weekends they're open late with music, tables and chairs conducive to talking, board games, etc. Great for a date night. Modern, very clean, friendly atmosphere. My family diines in as well as takes out, and my grandson enjoys time with friends there on weekend evenings.

The temperature inside was perfect. My daughter and shared a strawberry and beet salad which was very fresh and tasty. We got matcha lattes and cherry mini tarts for dessert and my boyfriend tried their cappuccino, apple tart and chocolate chip cookie and they were all good quality. Everything was served out of real cups and plates with real utensils, so you do not feel like you are on-the go or in a rush and can sit down, relax and enjoy your food. The service was good as well. This is is a true gem in Fair Oaks regardless of whether or not you are gluten free/ dairy free. We will definitely be back!

Great place with great food and their bread is amazing as well. My wife has celiac so we have to be very careful with what she can eat. Everything in this place was gluten free and very tasty. We took jalapeño bread, chocolate bread and some french baguettes. Jalapeño bread lasted barely 2 days. Great place 👌 👍

This place is a hidden gem. I almost hate to brag about it. The food is delicious and aesthetically beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and peaceful. And the service is consistently excellent. I personally witnessed how they handled some very rude customers. They were kind, patient and accommodating, despite the rudeness. A testimony to who they choose to be, regardless of who others choose to be. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely café.

Such a hidden gem. From the outside, the signage honestly doesn’t do it justice—but once you step inside, it’s a totally different story. The space is modern, spotless, and beautifully cared for (the bathroom alone deserves a shout-out). Everything is clean, thoughtfully arranged, and super inviting—very downtown coffee-shop vibes. We stopped by to grab treats for my little one and her gluten-free friend before a playdate, and I was genuinely impressed by the variety and presentation. Customer service was good (not over-the-top, but pleasant), and overall it felt like such a win for the neighborhood. I love having a reliable, welcoming place to bring friends or family with gluten allergies—this is exactly what our area needed. The only minor downside is that it’s next to a bar, so if parking isn’t right out front, you may pass people smoking outside—not ideal with little kids, but not a dealbreaker at all. Inside is lovely, calm, and cozy, and I can absolutely see myself stopping in often for a hot drink and a pastry. So happy this place exists near us.

Delicious sourdough. Great desserts. Very cute and cozy but small space with excellent labeling for food sensitivities beyond just celiac. Service was prompt and polite, but I got a jalapeno loaf when I asked for olive(didn't find out until I cut it later) overheard that they were out of one of the popular entrees and saw struggle with the customer load. Given that prompt and polite attention was always given to customers though I consider these solvable logistical issues that I'm sure will improve over time. If you or someone you know needs gluten free food, absolutely grab them something from here! Just be ready to wait and consider double checking your order before you leave. If there's space it's great to eat inside but if you hit a rush to-go will be necessary.

I'm not a non-gluten person, however my girlfriend is and I must say the pastries and my cappuccino were very good. The place has a clean classy Europe style decor, which I really like. Prices are fair and the salad was fresh with goodness. The people working there were nice and polite. We will be back.

The gf pizza crust is amazing! The vegan cheese is a bit more creamy and sticky than I'm used to so fyi in case you've never had it. The burger meat was great, bread was a little gummy but still good for gluten free! The Carmel iced latte was delicious!

If they made their patties themselves it would definitely be good. A little all and pepper and fresh beef patty would make this burger a 10/10. I’m not a fan of the patty. It was about 3 times more salty than I’d prefer and I’m not even sure if they tried to make it that way. I feel like the frozen patties used are pre-seasoned. The cherry tart pie was uh way too sweet. Like the crust was more sweet than the filling. The atmosphere and customer service was 10/10. I just really hate a beef patty that tastes like over salted chicken. I’m gonna try a few other items next week.
